I’ve been on so many tours on my travels in my 49 years. This by far was one of the saddest tours I’ve been on. The tour itself had so much potential as we went to see beautiful beach after beautiful beach. However, the tour guide we had zero enthusiasm. It was as if he was bored the entire time. He gave minimal information on our stops and I found myself having to ask many questions about information on the island. I specifically took this tour to learn about the history and locations of Turks and Caicos and I was left with more questions that answers. I was disappointed to say the least. At the end of the day, I just went back to our beach house and googled the history and read it for myself. I really hope this complaint is able to communicate to their employees the importance of having a fun, positive attitude when giving a tour. The guide really sets the tone for the day and this was lacked energy, fun or good communication.

Sylvester did an amazing job taking us around the island, teaching us about the history of the country and showing us unbelievable views. The food at Da Conch Shack was perfection!
A very knowledgeable tour guide. Gained a better appreciation of Turks and Caicos. Lunch could have been better
Tour operator never showed up to pick us up. We waited for an hour. I would’ve given 0 if I could’ve. I use Viator exclusively for tours when I travel and this is the first time I have ever been disappointed
We traveled to many places around the island. Several beach stops and other places of historical interest. The lunch stop was great! The food was plentiful and excellent. Amazing to see how abundant the conch shells are. Great island preview to see where you may wish to go later on your vacation. Our guide Sylvester was laid back on what our timeframe was but covered interesting island information. We were also the only ones on the tour so it was very casual.
It’s a great way to see the island and learn some history. We enjoyed a nice swim at the last stop! Fun day!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. A great way to see the entire island. Lunch at the very popular Conch Shack was delicious.
We were on the tour by ourselves, so the attention was amazing. Our guide took us to fascinating places in Turks and Caicos that we couldn't have found by ourselves. We had a awesome lunch at Da Conch Shack, which is set in an idyllic spot.
We were the only two on the tour, Sylvester made us feel like VIP’s! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The pickup and return to our hotel was so convenient.
It was a good introduction to Providenciales. If you're not renting a car, and wish to know where some of the main highlights of town are located this would be the tour for you. You get to see other beaches (and take a quick dip), plus learn some of history and about current developments in the area. Sylvester was kind and patient, seemed shy but open to any questions you have.
The tour was underwhelming. Very costly for what it included. The driver was the guide but was not very communicative. I thought we would see more sites, learn more history.
The tour was really nice and our tour guide, Sylvester, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and was able to answer all of our questions. It felt like he was a part of our family. The right amount of time allotted for each place was spot on, and Sylvester flowed with our timing as well.
Safari was good, we had a good experience with our driver in an open safari able to see the beautiful beaches, marina and hole and lunch was great since we were vegetarian.
My daughter and I took the tour and really enjoyed it. Sylvester was our guide and he is so easy-going and informative. It was laid-back, completely interactive and more conversational than presentational. It was so cool to hear about the history and the islands.
I booked this tour thru viator for 11/7 with pick up from our hotel. When it came time for pick up, I didn’t have an ETA by text or email so I called the tour business several times with no answer. I finally emailed and received an email reply that the tour had been canceled. I requested a refund from viator and they had the audacity to question the refund for a tour we didn’t take. According to the tour owner, I should’ve never been able to book on viator because the date wasn’t available for booking. Now I’m in a battle between my bank and viator on whether a refund is valid on a tour we didn’t take. I wouldn’t book through viator and I’d be careful booking tours with this business. They’re both unprofessional and if you don’t have $304 to lose, just book excursions on the island once you arrive.
Enjoyable trip atound the island. Sylvester was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. Da Conch Shack was great.
We did this tour off-season and were the only 2 people on the tour. We appreciate that it ran anyway. Only one day was offered: Wednesday. Generally we book a tour like this toward the beginning of our stay to get a broad view of where we are staying, but since this was midweek, we had already done a lot of exploring on our own. Sylvester was our driver/guide and he did a nice job of sharing his knowledge with us. He gave us a few tourist and local tips that we added to our plan for the remainder of the week. Lunch was a shared platter of fish fingers, fries, cracked conch, conch fritters, jerk chicken wings, and plantains. We found that we had done a really nice job ourselves of exploring off the beaten path and this tour was a nice compliment to what we had already done.
Great experience, touring around the island sight seeings,to shops, learning some history of the island, great food spot the conch shop, and beautiful beaches my favorite sapodilla was a great experience and tour guy slyvester was real cool and gave us time to explore. Go book this excursions
The driver was very nice. He had a lot of patience and he also showed respect to the customers. What you see he will do, he actually did it. He brought us to DA CONCH SHARK restaurant, the food was delicious. Overall the tour was fantastic.
We were met from our hotel by Sylvester and where the only couple on the tour this day so was able to personalise it with a snorkel trip to an area of outstanding beauty. You took us around various beautiful sites including the shipwreck beyond the Sandy. He was delightfully entertaining and informative and took us to the bar for lunch which was superb.we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and had a great time
We were very disappointed in this tour. It was long, dragged and slightly boring. I love sightseeing tours but the tour guide didn't explain much on any history at all or letting us know where we were going. We stopped by a market to shop but only 2 little spots for souvenirs was open, bar there was closed. we stopped and looked at different beaches, which was boring if we couldn't go take a dip for like 30 minutes. I didn't learn anything and felt we should have just used this money to rent out car instead and learn stuff on our own instead of paying for this, my husband was super disappointed. Seeing "the Hole" was cool. Conch Shack had delicious food so that was a nice stop. The guide was nice but didn't offer us any drinks, we had to keep asking him and we made sure our tour mates were all good as well. (He was nice, never mean but not sure if it was just him bored of having "another day at work".) tour should be 3 hours or less in my opinion...

I am very glad that we did this land tour around the island. It was our first time to TCI and we did not have a rental car. On this tour we were able to get a better sense of the various sections and beaches. Sylvester was our tour guide; he was very nice and gave us some limited information. I would have liked to hear more about the history of the island so I am not giving it a 5 rating. It is also a good idea to bring a map so you know where on the island you are heading. Sylvester -perhaps you should have a map available for people to see where they are! I loved the lunch at Da Conch Shack-great conch, fried fish and french fries!
The views were great. However we did not stop at all the sites advertised. Also, we were not offered water or anything to drink on the tour other than what we got at lunch.
Lovely to see the island's best from the vantage point of a local. Sylvester was a good tour guide but didn’t seem to want to engage with us. All of our questions were met with one or two word answers.
Bad start a tour at gift shop & end by making guests who prepaid wait for others to pay Guide was unengaged, not knowledgeable When I asked about Turks & Caicos history His response: “ There isn’t any”
Trip somewhat boring. But driver flexible, courteous, and nice. Besides the beaches and ‘the hole’ sites visited not so interesting.
The driver/tour guide was very pleasant, informative and professional . View from the safari truck gave a different insight than seeing from a van.
It was a great experience. The staff made us feel safe . And made wonderful drinks. I would encourage anyone to book this excursion.
Guide was very nice. The tour could improve with more local history included. We mainly drove from one beach to another. Other guests were fun as well.
I was charged for a tour that for unknown reasons was canceled by the company the day of. It's been a week and I have not received a refund.
So far nothing to share as the Tour Operator never showed up. We tried calling but NO answer. We then tried customer service who couldn't get hold of him either. The security guard at the Club Med then used his phone and he answered. Said it was canceled due to weather (it rained for about 5 minuted). He NEVER contacted us to let us know - we have email, text, phone and WhatsApp so very reachable plus he could have called the Club Med. I have requested a refund but to date Viator has said that they have to confirm what happened with the Tour Operator. We were offered the next day but we already had plans plus it was our last day.
We had an absolute blast on our tour with Sylvester as our guide!! We ended up getting a private tour bc we went during the slower part of the season. We got to see the whole island, learn interesting historical facts and had an amazing lunch at the conch shack. Definitely recommend this for first timers like us who want to learn more about the island and history.
The trip was insightful and something that everyone should experience. Our guide Sylvester was knowledgeable and friendly.
Guide was very informative. He was genuinely kind, friendly and spent a great deal of time answering all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this excursion!!
Knowledgeable and informative The places we visited were beautiful and so different and you wanted to see more Care given to the passengers
We booked this sightseeing tour and we loved it! Sylvester was our tour guide. He was very friendly and very informative. I was especially impressed that he took his time and gave us a personable tour since we were the only ones on the tour. Other tour companies would have cancelled. The Conch Shack had delicious food. The staff was friendly and allowed us to take the left over lunch to go. The food did not go to waste! We got to see the hole and all the beautiful beaches! We would highly recommend!
We had a blast sightseeing it was amazing !!! Its's fun with the whole family to see .... They even pick you up at your location ..
Good info on various spots in the island. Guide Sylvester was patient and informative. Recommend to do this early in your stay so you can plan rest of activities according to what you see. More chronological historic info on T&C would enhance this experience on various spots.
I recommend taking this tour as soon as you can so that you can choose which beaches to visit during your stay and get souvenirs (cash only) at the first stop. Anytime that you stop at the beaches I suggest that you spend about 30" at each one. North Shore is the beach where you can watch or participate in water sports. Around noon you get to have lunch a Da Conch Shack which has great food and then go to Sapodillo Bay which is beautiful! Definitely take pictures of all the places you visit. Sylvester was a great guide, told us the history of the places we visited, and answered any questions we had.
Captain Q and big Lou were amazing. They know how to do their job professionally. They took us to the an inhabited highland and we had a great experience. Captain Q’s jokes and humor was top notch.
Sylvester was a great guide. I would definitely tour with him again. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor.
Sylvester was great! We stopped at 3 beaches, local marketplace and had lunch at Da Conch Shack! Loved it!
We had a good time seeing the island. The hole and da conch shack were great stops. Wish we had a little more info provided about the history of the island instead of celebrity houses. Would have liked to hear more about how things came to be. We enjoyed seeing the island but felt it wasnt super informative.
The tour was great and the tour guide was very pleasant and information and only added to the great experience we had.
We enjoy the history of where we travel & it was reasonably priced. Wish there was one on the water as well
Well I tell you this is the tour if you want to see and hear about the whole area of Providenciales. The wife and I were the only ones on the tour. Our tour guide Sylvester was AWESOME!! Very knowledgeable. The tour hit every area on the island. We got to see turtles, barracudas, pelicans, bonefish and a nurse shark!! The tour also stops at da Conch Shack for lunch, beautiful restaurant. Definitely recommend this tour
This was a great tour! Sylvester was our driver and Guide. He was on time and very knowledgeable in the history of the Turks and Caicos‘s. He explained to us how the islands got their name. He took us to several spots including several beaches and allowed us time to visit the area. I totally recommend this tour to see the island. The beaches were beautiful. Thank you Sylvester for such a great time!
Terrific way to see the island in one day…great lunch at da conch shack and sapodilla beach was our favorite spot!
We enjoyed the whole experience. The beaches and food were awesome and we enjoyed hearing about the history. We had the best tour guide, named Sylvester. I would definitely recommend this tour!
