Hobie Cat Sailing Lesson

Cancelled last second “due to weather” but the weather was great and there were other hobie cats on the water and paragliding.

Sadly…This trip was canceled due to weather. No recommendations to reschedule so we did not. At least the amount was refunded in a timely manner.

Our trip was canceled and we were told we would get a complete refund from the gentleman. He said he had sent you all an email explaining that.

Operator was a no show. Tried to call and email. If activity was cancelled, operator did not notify me. Have initiated a hold on my payment with CC

Disappointing. We were canceled twice. Once due to weather where they said no wind but saw many boats on water and then the next day because they said the person giving the lesson had a flat tire. We tried to delay to later in morning but never heard back.

Extremely poor communication. Would not respond to my questions at all and it was regarding scheduling. I scheduled once and tried to add another person, they wouldn’t get back to me. I cancelled and made another reservation. The second time the boat was broken and they wanted to reschedule. I tried to reschedule but they didn’t respond and cancelled it instead. I would never book with this company. I found another hobie cat instructor and although it’s more expensive they communicate promptly. I dismissed the other reviews. Avoid them!

BEWARE! They cancelled on us the morning of. Said they would refund our money, but more than a week later we are still trying to get a refund. We have called, texted and emailed with no response. This also happened to my brother-in-law on his reservation. Do not use! They are scam artists!

Kenny was a great instructor and after a short time my 13 year old son felt comfortable doing the sailing. We will definitely do this again.

Learned a lot, had a blast, Kenneth was awesome! He took us along the coast of Providenciales and taught us what we needed to be able to take one these out on our own the next day!

We rolled out of bed early on vacation to go sailing but unfortunately, the guide didn't show up. He/we tried to reschedule a couple of times but due to winds, weren't able to make it. Obviously not his fault. This was the one excursion I was really looking forward to so I was disappointed.

I've sailed on a hobbie cat a few times with operators but was never taught how to actually sail it myself but Khadaffi at Turks Aqua patiently taught me how to mater sailing! The lesson was easy enough but fun & informative for a city girl like me AND HE EVEN TOOK EXPERT PHOTOS during the sail. I got to see the Gracebay shoreline and all the beautiful hotels…something I would have never seen had it not been for the tour. Booking was easy, communication was clear and I even got to rent the hobbie cat the next day and sail it myself.

An absolute blast. I was looking for something for my 20 year old daughter and me to do that was fun and easy and more than just sitting on a jetski. Khaddafi was an excellent instructor and a great cameraman too! We were able to sail with ease, he was both patient and a lot of fun...with great tidbits and recommendations about T&C that helped us in other ways during our visit too. I would definitely take another lesson from him and recommend him highly.

Amazing experience!! The views of the water are amazing. Was cool to steer a sailboat lol. Wasn’t sure what to expect but Cadafee(Sorry if I spelled it wrong) made it a great experience for us. Would recommend to anyone.

My daughter and I had never been on a sailboat. Khadaffi had us steering right away and we had a fabulous time. If you get a chance, go sail with him. It was amazing!

Just returned from our Hobie Cat Lesson with Khadaffi. He is an excellent teacher who offered great guidance and encouragement. The lesson and the experience could not have been better. He’s building his business and I have a feeling he will be very successful. I am 70 years old and really appreciated his entire approach. Highly recommended. Opportunity to support the local economy as well.

This was our second trip to Grace Bay and I promised myself on this trip I would get a Hobie Cat sailing lesson. I booked the lesson online with Khadaffi and he followed up with me promptly that day. The next morning we we to the beach and Khadaffi was all ready to go at the appointed time. He first made sure my wife and I received good instruction before ever launching the Hobie Cat. Once we were on board, Khadaffi did a great job of making my wife and I feel at ease. He was a great teacher, super patient and fun and engaging the entire 2-hour lesson. He let me do all the actual work, under his supervision, correcting and teaching throughout. He took some great pictures and videos throughout the 2 hours and we had them immediately upon completion of our activity. I highly recommend Turks Aqua Adventures and Khadaffi. I would recommend to anyone looking to learn and have a great couple of hours on the water in Grace Bay.
