Our tour guide, Nick was extremely friendly and nice right from our pick up at the hotel. He made sure that we were comfortable throughout the excursion. His knowledge of the sealife within the mangroves is exceptional and was pointing out the sealife as we kayaked. Highly recommend the trip and highly recommend Nick as a tour guide. Thank you Clear Bottom Adventures.

Felt safe, not too much paddling. Nice pace. Great guide. Turtles were fun to see as well as jellyfish and conch
We had a great time. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We got lost getting there and they were very understanding and waited for us.
This whole experience went above and beyond my wildest expectations. Our guide Mikey really took the nature aspects over the top with how passionate and personable he was. You don't need to be a kayaking pro by any means. As an observation though, if you're a couple that struggles with teamwork, you're going to be misable vibe killers.
This was an excellent experience for my wife and I. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We would definitely book this again.
Started off bumpy. Pickup confirmed, but late 1/2 hr. Luckily office responded to emails promptly and given updates on driver status. Very reasonable $ for the activity. Pickup/dropoff. Life vests and water. Tour through mangroves a little more than an hour. Actually a private tour today since we were the only family booked for the time slot! If you want to see turtles up close , I mean swimming next to and under your kayak - this is it. Saw at least 20-30 turtles. Held a few conch, jelly fish and saw a baby shark. At the end stood on sand bar next to groves for few nice photos. Total time ~ 2 1/2 hours
Hats off to this tour company for not canceling because I was the only one booked! And my knowledgeable guide, Mitch, gave me a fantastic clear kayak mangrove experience! The highlights were lemon sharks, a sting ray, bonefish, barracuda, needle fish, and sea turtles.
Wonderful experience! Our tour guide Nick was very knowledgeable on the area and the marine life. So much fun, would definitely recommend. Very kid friendly.
It was relaxing and fun. It's an easy cool ride, we had really good guides and we loved the turtles.
Loved this! So worth it. We saw tons is sea turtles and the guides were really passionate and knowledgeable. The pickup and drop off at our hotel was a breeze.
Awesome experience today on the 2‑hour mangrove tour! Our guide, Sammy, was funny, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. We saw over a dozen turtles 😍😍😍 — a mix of green sea turtles and Hawksbill. Truly a bucket‑list moment checked off thanks to this incredible experience 🤩🤩 We also saw (and touched!) a conch, plus upside‑down jellyfish. Highly recommend this tour — and highly recommend Sammy.
Sammy was our guide and he did an amazing job! He was very knowledgeable and gave us time to see all the turtles , jelly fish, and Conch. He was determined to find us a shark but they were hiding. Highly recommend this tour! Thanks Sammy for a great day!
Was a great experience so many sea turtles, great guide and a wonderful experience overall for our family!
We had an awesome kayaking tour. We saw lots of sea turtles, sharks and even some conchs and an upside down jellyfish. Got the hold the conch and the jellyfish. Samie our tour guide was excellent and gave us an informative tour.
Mitch was great, kept the group together but also made sure we all got a chance to see the turtles, fish, conch, and even saw a crab when we stopped for a break. He was full of so much information, even just in casual conversation. Thank you, Mitch (and team) this was truly an experience we’ll never forget.
Efficient pickup from our resort. We started by getting towed to the mangroves. Then our guide, Mitch, led us on a morning tour that included several stops where he would explain some of the details re the wildlife. Mitch was super nice, knowledgeable and interesting. He talked about the mangroves, turtles and conch amongst other things. We saw a baby lemon shark, some turtles, conch, jelly fish and fish. There is a significant amount of paddling and it will get hot under the sun even though we’re out on the ocean. Overall, a fun excursion.
The team was very helpful. They did everything to make us comfortable. If we had any challenges, they were there to assist us every step of the way. It was a great adventure. And they really educated us on the mangrove and the Conch sharks, fish etc..
The 2 hour clear-bottom kayak tour was an incredible experience! The views were absolutely amazing, and we saw an abundance of sea life, including stingrays, sharks, sea turtles, barracuda, and conch. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, and our tour guide shared so much interesting information throughout the tour. The clear kayaks made the experience even better. Truly one of the highlights of our trip to Turks & Caicos — a must-do when visiting!
It was a unique experience kayaking in a clear boat. Got to see conch and a lot of sea turtles , baby lemon sharks. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about these sea animals. Had a wonderful time.
We had a great guide who was very patient and knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to anyone interested in kayaking in a beautiful ocean and seeing lots of wildlife including turtles jellyfish and lemon sharks.
Tour guide was great!! We seen so many sea turtles, conch, fish, jellyfish and more. Great experience!!
We had a great time kayaking! We saw a lot of wildlife, including a baby lemon shark. Our guide was funny and knowledgable about the area. I would highly recommend this tour.
It was nice except the tour guide chased after the turtles and a sting ray which I felt bad about. Almost didn’t make it back to the shore but had a good time .
They picked us up at our hotel - the guide was excellent we saw turtles galore - was a lot of fun - every -the guide (sorry for spelling ) Was great !!!
Great excursion. Picked us up on time at our hotel and transported us to the marina for an easy launch. Our guide De was great and we saw lots of turtles, a baby lemon shark, sting ray, puffer fish, conch, a crab and a baracuda.
Sometimes there are only a few wildlife. The experience was still fun. Not too strenuous. Nice guide.
We had an amazing two-hour mangrove kayak tour with Andy. He guided our group of eight, including four teenagers, and kept everyone engaged the entire time. The tour was informative, fun, and perfectly paced. Andy is impressive at his young age—personable, easygoing, energetic, and clearly passionate about the mangroves and local wildlife. He explained everything in a way that was memorable and enjoyable for all of us. We left with great memories and would highly recommend Andy to anyone visiting Turks and Caicos.
We had a great time exploring the Mangroves. Guides were fun and informative. Lots of sea life and sun!
Andy was an incredible guide for our mangrove kayaking tour! From start to finish, he made the experience both relaxing and exciting. He was extremely knowledgeable about the mangroves and took the time to explain the ecosystem, pointing out wildlife and sharing interesting facts about the area that we would have never noticed on our own. The tour itself was beautiful and peaceful, with calm waters and stunning scenery all around. Andy made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident, no matter their experience level, and kept the group engaged the entire time. His passion for nature and the island really came through, making the tour even more special.
The couple hours in our kayak were peaceful and the turtles we saw were amazing. I loved the clear bottom kayaks.
5 out of 5 experience! Sammy was our guide and teacher about the local fish, turtles, and conch. We enjoyed all the mangroves we paddled around to see the turtles. Sammy was great!
An incredible way to spend a couple hours! Our tour guide (Ted?) was great. We saw MANY turtles, puffer fish, conch and baby sharks (yes, we all sang the song). I would really recommend this tour!
The crew was very patient, very descriptive and made sure that we saw everything that we wanted to see. You never felt like you were left behind. They were always checking on you. We were able to see tons of turtles a lemon, shark and jellyfish. It was an awesome experience.
Edwin was our guide and was amazing. Even spotted a lemon shark on our way back and unhooked us so we could see it
The day we went, it was windy and strong current, pedaling in opposite direction was tough, but crew member helped us half way through, we saw some turtle and conch!! All in all was good experience.
The guides were great, only issue on our tour was the tide was going out so had to avoid some of the mangrove area and there wasn't much sea life to see other than some turtles. Really appreciated the group tow out to the mangroves! The water was great, got to see a different part of the island, high end yachts etc.
The experience was awesome. Hard to hear as we were in the back but other than that it was great. Maybe guide could use some sort of microphone
Bring your sunscreen! Even if it’s raining before your trip! We didn’t bring ours and once the sun popped back out, we wished we had it:)
Fun and informative. Our guide Nick shared his knowledge of the habitat where we kayaked. Saw lots of turtles, a live conch and a few lemon sharks.
Slow paced kayaking through the mangroves, the water is so clear! You are guaranteed to see turtles, small sharks, and rays. The tour guide will go out of their own to ensure you have good sightings. Just do it!
Great communication planning the trip, Ted,TED, was a great tour guide. They offered to pick up and drop off at our VRBO included, which was wonderful. Four stars not five because there wasn’t any introduction to the activity, we were just put onto the clear bottom kayaks and asked to wait. A little bit of an introduction would’ve been great. The mangrove area gets fairly crowded with other boats… But it’s also crowded with lots of turtles so that did not disappoint! If deciding between a clear bottom boat and a regular kayak, my recommendation would be to go with the clear bottom so you can see the turtles pass under you! Thanks, Ted
Excellent experience. Would recommend. Viator did not disappoint again. Guide was excellent and knowledgeable as usual.
Length can vary if guests are late to arrive and it is very windy. however, staff were very organized and once we were all together got things going quickly. Loved our guide Ted!
We didn’t know what to expect but it was the perfect activity to blend ages! We had two teens who could not get enough of the turtles!
Ted, our tour guide, was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. We saw several (more than a dozen) green sea turtles, and my wife got to hold a jellyfish.
Fun experience in clear kayaks to see turtles, fish, etc. A beautiful and relaxing time taking in the sights in the water and beautiful area. Tour guide friendly and knowledgeable
Clear kayaking was so much fun! We got to see baby sharks, turtles, conch, jellyfish and more! Cheese was a great tour guide. We felt welcomed and safe throughout the entire two hr experience. I’d recommend and I’d definitely go back! Thank you cheese for taking care of us!
High yield tour that was well run, included hotel pick up, and gave us the chance to see lots of wildlife and enjoy the mangroves. Perfect!
Kayaking was so much fun! It was very easy to do and everyone got a hang of it after a few minutes of bumper cars. Everything was perfectly organized. Our tour guide, Nick, was very knowledgeable and told us a lot of interesting facts about the red mangroves, the sea turtles, the conch, jellyfish, and sharks. We got to see all of these (except for the shark, which was out to lunch) up close. They'll give you a dry bag for your stuff, but prepare to get your bottom wet while sitting in the kayak. I also recommend wearing a hat, sunglasses, long sleeves and sunscreen as you'll be in the hot sun for 2 hours. Be prepared for maximum enjoyment!
This experience was lots of fun! The amount of tour time was perfect. Two hours is all you needed. You can bring your own personal belongings and they provide a dry bag to put them in. You’re going in a steady speed paddling so you won’t fall behind and get to enjoy seeing the animals in the water. Remember to bring too camera for pictures and videos!
