We dined at their sushi restaurant SU Rin and did not have a pleasant experience at all with their server Jamelsy. He made four big mistakes and we all truly believe he was heavily intoxicated. First, when he placed the saucers of soy sauce next to each of us, he spilled almost the whole thing next to my husband and the soy sauce splashed onto his white linen shorts! He didn’t even notice which was shocking and we had to ask him to bring napkins to clean it up. Second, when he brought the sushi rolls out, he placed one down on the table lopsided and all the sushi rolls fell off the plate which we had to lift and place back onto the plate which was very gross. Third, he forgot our egg vegetable fried rice and we told him not to charge us for it since it never came out but we still got charged for it. And lastly, when he brought us the bill, he dropped the pos device on the floor and that’s when we knew he was wasted! He also seemed very upset that we didn’t add more to the already high percentage tip they include in the bill, which isn’t fair especially with such bad service. We barely had anyone around giving us water and no one was attentive. We were definitely not satisfied with what should be high quality, top notch service.

An Elegant hotel with an extremely friendly staff. Breakfast was a wonderful amenity! Angie was great she always greeted us at the Almond Tree and made sure we were taken care of. We were also escorted to the spa location by the beautiful and gracious Rereinda. The hotel with the amenities and especially the friendly staff made our stay a wonderful experience at the Shore Club.
I really wish I had paid more attention to the 2 - 4 star reviews here as the nearly 5-star rating on Google does not reflect our July 2026 babymoon experience and overall, I am very surprised that the Shore Club is considered a five-star resort. - Do not underestimate or ignore the "seaweed season" - in July, the beach and immediate water was filled with seaweed. We were allowed to take the shuttle to use the beach at the the sister Palms resort on Grace Bay but it was clear we were not very welcome guests and were sequestered in side chairs away from the Palms guests. - The service issues are very real - in three days at sitting by the adult pool, a team member only came by once and asked if we needed anything. I overheard multiple other guests at the adult pool comment that they wished the could order a drink. Water is also not clearly available and hidden in unmarked mini fridges - at six months pregnant, I went to the front desk to ask how to get water at the adult pool and they acted surprised to hear that no one had come to the pool in two hours, yet the issues are clearly documented in other reviews here. For lunch at the Colonnade bar, the service was exceptionally slow despite staff milling about. One quiet day, it took 10 minutes for someone to realize our drink order had not been taken and another 10 minutes for water and a Diet Coke to get to the table. - Food is nothing to write home about - exceptionally average overall and very expensive, as noted in other reviews. Would not recommend the Almond Tree dinner as it is all heavy American food of no note. - Truly surprised to see so many positive reviews of the breakfast buffet - aside from the omelet bar, the options were extremely limited and below comparison to other "luxury" beach resorts. The quality of the bread and pastries were sub-par and the fresh fruit selection was poor quality melons or pineapple only. Service was extremely hit or miss at breakfast, with water and coffee taking 10+ minutes some mornings. - On our first morning, the water was not working in our room. I tried calling the front desk multiple times but no one answered. I walked to the front desk at 7 AM to address and was never given a explanation for what caused the water shutoff or any additional details.
Absolutely amazing! The complementary breakfast feels like a steal every time we take advantage of it. Excellent service, and access to everything... the island is so small it almost feels private. Can't wait to come back. But beware the seaweed season...👀
We had an absolutely incredible stay at The Shore Club in Turks and Caicos. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome—everyone was so warm, attentive, and eager to help. The resort itself is stunning. The views are breathtaking, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and everything was spotless. Our room was unbelievably spacious, well-designed, and comfortable—it truly felt like a luxury retreat. A special thank you to the manager, Kerry Hendrickson, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. That level of care and attention really made our experience stand out. Overall, this was a perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
