It’s an older hotel but they try to keep it up, the staff are nice and they take care of you. We had a mishap but they made up for it. It’s close to the shops, the food is good, the pool is good. The beach is great too not crowded and they have chairs and umbrellas Hemingwaya is good too- they make good drinks and food is good for the day. We stayed there Sunday- Sunday- Liked it.

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Sands at Grace Bay, and we will definitely be coming back! We stayed in Building 1, room 1101, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. The suite was spacious, with a large bedroom, a full kitchen, an open-concept living room, a huge porch with a table and chairs, plus the convenience of a washer and dryer. Everything was spotless. The towels looked brand new—clean, soft, and fluffy. The bed, pillows, and linens were fresh, comfortable, and made for a great night’s sleep. Our daughter was provided with a rollaway bed that included a thick foam mattress and proper linens, and she said it was surprisingly comfortable and spacious. Every hotel at some point needs a little TLC, but it’s hard with people traveling all the time. The housekeeping team was outstanding and did an amazing job every day. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. There were always taxis waiting outside the resort, making it easy to get around the island. The pool and beach staff were fantastic! Complimentary towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and even floaties were available, which was a wonderful bonus. Grace Bay Beach itself was absolutely stunning—the sand was powdery white, the water crystal clear, and everything was kept very clean. The on-site restaurant was excellent. Every meal we had was absolutely delicious. During busy times, the food took a little longer to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. The only suggestions we would make are to offer beachside food and drink service and to clean the pool more frequently throughout the day, as some guests went directly from the ocean into the pool without rinsing off. There is construction next door for The St. Regis, expected to open in late 2027. We were initially concerned, but honestly, the noise never bothered us. Construction is happening throughout much of the island, and it had no impact on our vacation. Overall, The Sands at Grace Bay provided an incredible experience with exceptional service, beautiful accommodations, and one of the most gorgeous beaches we’ve ever visited. We can’t wait to return!
We just got back from 4 nights and LOVED our stay here. Family of 5 so finding beachfront with resort amenities without a crazy high prices - this was the fit! We had ocean view…not really much of a view but loved how close it was to the beach, pool, and Hemingways. It’s the perfect blend of an Airbnb and a resort. Loved having beach chairs and beach service. The landscaping and resort was so clean and well kept. Our 2 bed with den room was exactly like the photos. Housekeeping service was great. FYI: 2 detergent pods come with room for 2 loads of laundry. Location was perfect - 10 minutes max to anywhere. Lots of comments about construction noise…yes you could hear it but it was not at all an interruption to our day. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
We recently stayed at The Sands for a family vacation. There were some pros and cons along the way, but overall, it was not a bad stay. Pros: The property is beautiful and located for easy walking or biking to local shops. The staff was friendly; however, we noticed the beach staff were a lot more personable than the front desk and restaurant staff. Maintenance staff was great and quickly addressed two issues with our room (water leak from the ceiling and a missing dryer vent). Cons: Before arriving at TCI, we had called, worried about construction noise next door due to the St. Regis being under construction. We were assured that the outdoor construction was completed and that they were only working inside the building. However, upon arrival, they were definitely still working on the outside, and we often dealt with construction noise during our stay. This also may seem silly, but it felt like they were hoarding the toilet paper. One day, we called down to get more toilet paper, and we were told they were out. How does a resort run out of toilet paper? It seemed that we were constantly asking for it because they never refilled it when cleaning our room.
We came here for a short vacation. The hotel is right on the beach which is a plus. The room are clean and comfortable. There were utensils, cups/plates etc that made having light meal easy and convenient. The staff/sands team is excellent and was extremely helpful, especially when my partner had a medical emergency. They went out of their way to accommodate our situation. In all, we had a great time at the sands, although limited by the medical emergency. But we were glad to be at a hotel where the staff was excellent and supportive. THANK YOU!
