I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the West Indies. The location was beautiful, with a relaxing tropical atmosphere and lovely views. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The food was enjoyable, with a good variety of local and international dishes. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the West Indies.

Very disappointing stay. We arrived to bloody stains on the bed sheets, hair on the shower wall, and hair in the bath towels. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. The refrigerator made a loud, high-pitched noise for the first three nights before it was finally replaced. The staff took no responsibility for any of these issues and showed little concern. This property feels more like a condo rental than a hotel. We would not stay here again.
We had such an amazing time staying here for the last 7 nights. The staff were friendly. This resort located on Grace Bay Beach so walking to the beach at 6am on most days was one of my highlights. The beach has such clear and turquoise water that I have ever seen. This resort has two difference pool, one which was adult only has a hot-tub as well. We spent most of our time at the beach.
We just finished staying at the Royal West Indies Resort and it was our first time. We love the resort, the people, the rooms which were very clean, Sherman and Kendro were amazing and Kendro kept us laughing all the way to our room. The beach is beautiful and so are the grounds. Turks and Caicos is expensive but it was so worth it. It was not a far walk to the town even in the heat or you can bike. The pelican restaurant food on site was very good and we thought the portions were good as well. We did go to the fish fry and enjoyed the entertainment and food This was na exceptional quick trip and we will be back to stay at the royal west indies again.
I’m sharing this on behalf of my brother-in-law regarding his stay at Royal West Indies Resort in January 2026. This was his second visit to Turks and Caicos, though his first time at this particular resort. He noted that the resort itself is beautiful, and the rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beach, however, was the highlight—absolutely outstanding. The water was crystal clear, and the sand was soft and beautiful. That alone helped make up for some of the disappointment in other areas. Unfortunately, the dining experience fell short. While the food was decent, the portions were quite small—especially considering the cost, which averaged around $100 per plate. In his opinion, it simply wasn’t worth the price. More concerning was the level of service. He experienced staff who were not particularly welcoming or helpful when asked about resort amenities or recommendations. What stood out was a noticeable difference in how others were treated. He observed that Caucasian guests seemed to receive more attentive and helpful service, with staff readily offering guidance and suggestions. This wasn’t an isolated incident—it occurred multiple times throughout the five-day stay. Other guests also noticed and shared similar experiences. I encourage management to place greater emphasis on customer service training. As guests who traveled a considerable distance, we expected a welcoming and professional experience, and should not encounter dismissive or unwelcoming service… unfortunately, that standard was not met. This was disappointing and unacceptable to him and his girlfriend. Overall, the that made the trip disappointing, especially given expectations for a resort of this caliber. He travels frequently and has experienced many resorts, but based on this stay, he would not return to this property. Based on this, the resort receives a one star for Service!
