DO NOT RECOMMEND... I hate to post a negative review, because I dont want the local staff who are working there to be affected, however, management needs to be accountable for the poor experience encountered. I booked Point Grace Resort and Spa SLH several months ago. The reviews were positive and the location was perfect. The website promoted the resort, spa and amenities as luxury. Upon arrival, after parking our own vehicle (in my previous experience, especially at a "luxury" resort, the staff parked your car for you), we were taken to our room which was directly situated next to a live construction site of a several million dollar project. When we asked about another room or upgrade, we were told there was nothing available. Our hotel hostess told us that we wouldn't be able to hear the construction once we were inside... WRONG... we were awoken every morning at 7am with drilling, hammering and beeping. We had now fell from what we thought would be relaxing and luxury into the depths of hell. We complained to the front desk again a day later with no reprieve. Important to note that at no time were we told prior to arrival that there was construction going on at the hotel, nor was there any statement issued on the website. These rooms are priced at over $800 a night. I had made a spa appointment prior to arriving, the pictures and description on the web page were beautiful, unfortunately, due to the construction the spa was closed and our options for treatments were to have the them in our room, a small business center currently converted on property or go to a sister hotel for a treatments. This was again failure to advise of the situation on the website. We found out that the poolbar had Happy Hour each night from an information packet we received at check in. The packet indicated the happy hour was from 5pm-6pm. We headed down our 1st night a little after 5:30 to partake and were told that happy hour was in fact from 4:30-5:30; they still let us get a happy hour drink -luckily! So points given here, but inaccurate information given to guests. Finally, there was a Managers Cocktail Hour that we received notification about in our mailbox; it stated there were "cocktails and canapes". We attended, met the manager and reported our concerns to him; he asked a few questions and then disappeared, never to be seen or heard from again. We thought maybe he was going to try and rectify the situation, but... no, he just left. Oh... and no canapes... Not sure what's going on here, isnt the intent to make your guests happy? Create return customers? There were numerous opportunities to make this situation better, the hotel has 4 sister properties, maybe offer to move us to one without construction noise? Maybe put us in a room on the other side of the resort to reduce the noise? Maybe comp something? Idk... there's numerous things that could have been done! But 0 were. Sadly, due to the noise and lack of responsiveness from the resort, we spent most of our time away from hotel. We are so angry, because if we knew what the state of the resort was, we would have planned differently. Positively, the staff attending to our rooms, showing us around and waiting on us were friendly. The room was also very clean, comfortable and well decorated. Unfortunately, we wont be returning, and sadly it appears that the island is being over-developed and pillaged.

My fiancée and I stayed here right after I proposed, and it couldn’t have been a better experience! The rooms felt more like private luxury condos, beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The atmosphere was just amazing. From the secluded front porch, just a few steps to the pool and a short walk to the private beach. The views were incredible, and they even included complimentary sailboats, surfboards, chairs, and iced canned water. What truly stood out was the staff. One of the women at the front desk (I’ll update this when I find her name) went above and beyond by surprising us with a stunning celebratory chocolate cake. It was a full luxury engagement cake, presented in a glass casing with personalized details. I'll be adding a photo. This was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had. We’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something special!
You can't go wrong at this resort. Everything about it is TOP NOTCH! The service is the beyond 5 stars. From arrival to departure, the service was outstanding. We booked charters, arranged taxi pick up for dinners off resort through the concierge and they were more than over the top helpful with anything you needed. You can't get any better than the location. Everyday they had teams raking the beach and burying the seaweed which Ive never seen anyone do back in the states. It was always clean and the set up guys kept you comfortable in the chairs with fresh covers and towels, bickets of ice and water or drinks from the poolside bar. The rooms were very spacious and nice. The only reason they did t receive 5 stars was our room had 2 twins pushed together which is fine but they were a good bit harder than I liked and the sheets were stiff and loud and would wake you up if someone moved around under them. There was only a sheet and a very thin blanket so I was super cold 2 out of the 5 nights we stayed. Had to sleep in long pants and a huge sweater to stay warm which means the AC works great. I would've bumped the AC up but there were 4 other people with us so didn't want to make anyone else uncomfortable if it was just me and my husband who were cold. Deal breaker? Definitely not. You are definitely in the spot for the BEST dinner spot on the islands. Grace's Cottage. All 3 couples agreed this was the best food we had the entire trip. Again, I can't say enough about the staff but people that stood out are Watson atcheck in. Cosmey at the poolside bar and Raynard at the beach. I will say this... 3 couples went. We are all in our early to mid 50's. Very much like to have fun and are active. Point Grace is a more "mature" resort. There were no babies, toddlers, children, teens or young adults. The age range seemed to be 30's and up which I am SUPER OK with and prefer. I've done my time and I've raised my kids. Its quiet but people are still having a good time. This is not a "party" Florida condo type of scene at all. If that's what youre looking for, dont come here. The pool had a sign that says its is a quiet area. No games No jumping. But there's no one hoovering around and policing you. Its relaxing. You can still laugh, talk and have drinks and a good time. Overall, PG is a fabulous resort with 5 star restaurant, top tier staff and amenities. You can't go wrong here. As of this post April 2026, there is construction going on next to the resort which got loud at times but that would not stop me from staying here again. This trip went off without a hitch and was amazing.
The resort is beautiful. We stayed in a one bedroom ground floor cottage overlooking the pool. It was perfect! We loved having a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The resort is small so none of the areas are crowded or noisy. Wonderful place to relax by the beach and pool. The pool sometimes didn’t have extra chairs but the beach always had more than enough. You can walk for miles on the powder sand beach. Walking distance to many restaurants. We also used the free bicycles. Roy at the front desk was great as were the beach attendants. We so appreciate them understanding when our flight was delayed so we missed our connection and allowed us to push our stay forward a day!
One of the best resort I have stayed so far. I am a Diamond Honors member and have stayed in many hotel around the world under Hilton flagship. But this one is my favourite. The turquoise blue beach is lovely to view from my bedroom. Great hospitality by Ms. Locresha at the front desk. She is indeed an asset to this hotel. Loved the food there at the restaurant and breakfast is great too. It’s free by the way. Room was excellent. All the best. Want to come back again.
