We loved our food tour with Saskia! She provided a great overview of Cannes and its history in addition to sharing interesting information about food in Provence. My 83-year old Mom, 21 year old daughter, and I all loved walking through the Market, trying some local treats, and ending the tour with Gelato. Definitely go with Saskia's recommendation at the ice cream shop. Yum! The stop at the wine bar was also a highlight. The owner chatted with us about the wine as well as the cheese he had selected just this morning for us to try! It was very special getting to spend time learning about his local business. We would highly recommend taking this tour if you have time while in Cannes!

Our evening began with meeting our guide, Saskia. She was friendly and clearly passionate about Cannes as she led us through a tasting that began with wine and cheese in a stunning wine cellar, followed by a classic Provençal onion tart, then chicken and sea bass to round out the savory courses. Gelato brought the evening to a sweet close. Throughout the tour, Saskia shared rich details about the history of Cannes, showing us things about the city we never would have discovered on our own through self-exploration. What began as a food tour turned into a genuine, memorable exploration of the city.

very experienced and local guide named Vanessa took us on this walking in food tour on a very hot day in July. While walking to the various venues she gave us historical knowledge and talked about the area as well as the cuisine. Very outgoing and friendly as well as knowledgeable as she headed up a restaurant of her own a while back . Enjoyable and would never have gotten that look without this tour.

I greatly enjoyed this food tour of Cannes! Vanessa, the guide, is clearly both knowledgeable and passionate about the area and its local cuisine. She took our group to 5 different locations for assorted tastings, all of which complemented each other so nicely. Along the way, she shared bits and pieces of information about local history. She also answered our group’s questions about a variety of topics, and effortlessly helped accommodate a variety of dietary needs and preferences within the group. I left the tour feeling like I had enjoyed an authentic experience, and that we had gone to places that in most cases I wouldn’t have figured out to visit on my own.

Vanessa was excellent as a former restaurateur she understands quality and each place was a taste of delight. We started with wine and cheese and then proceeded to the local market where we sampled delicious onion and olive bread and then onto to a seafood lunch. Followed by a few suite treats and espresso. There was something for everyone along with a great walk through Cannes must see areas. Just a wonderful afternoon! Thank you Vanessa!

Saskia was a wonderful guide! She is friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about the entire region. She started our tour with Laduree macarons and then took us to several delicious destinations including a quaint wine shop, butcher shop/deli, sidewalk cafe and gelato shop. We even explored Le Suquet which was lovely in the evening as it was quiet and cooler. Highly recommend this food tour!

We had a fabulous experience trying local cuisine in Cannes! This was a great way to tour the city for our short few hours we had in Cannes. Our guide was fantastic and accommodating with our gluten free family member. She showed us local cuisine restaurants and hidden gems we otherwise wouldn’t find!

Saskia was a great tour guide for this exploration of the foods of Cannes. We went to a lovely wine shop to taste and learn about Cote de Provence rose wine and complimentary cheeses. We tried passadiere. We walked through the Cannes open air market and admired the fresh produce and cheeses, spices and nougats. We visited the location of the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival. We had a delicious sit down lunch and enjoyed getting to know Saskia and our fellow tourists. And we had a marvelous macaroon then coffee to finish off the day on a sweet note. An excellent experience all around!

Saski is approachable and informative. My husband was pleasantly surprised about how well I knew the city when I met with him later, despite it being my first day. He usually has all the random factoids but today it was me! Good variety and value.
