Great ride; good combo of easy trail and city rides. Great scenery!

Very nice bike tour. We had a family of 5 and it was definitely much more difficult for the 60+ types. Several steep climbs the young adults did easily but were quite difficult for older adults. Don't believe all the other reviews. It was not a breeze. But our guide was great and we all had a good time/.

The booking was canceled by the provider about 20 minutes before the start time. They attempted to call me on WhatsApp literally 20 minutes before the start. I showed up at the bike shop but was told they didn’t have enough people signed up. I spent 30 minutes on a ferry boat to get to the meeting location. And then I had to take the ferry back to the city center. Viator should discontinue doing business with this unscrupulous vendor.

Simply amazing! Our family group of 9 was welcomed and greeted by the wonderful guides. We are very familiar with mountain biking but even so the guides took the time explain the ride, terrain, and route. Exceptional safety measures were take for our youngest riders (ages 12-9 years of age). Definitely recommend this experience to anyone wanting to experience nature and the city!

Was a lovely day cycling by the coast and sea! The bikes are really good quality so the hill climbs were easily done and Elena was a great guide!!

Elena, our guide was kind and knowledgeable. She made sure we knew how to work the e bikes. I, nor my 12 and 14 year olds, have never used an E-bike before but it was easy to catch on and made the trip up the hill a breeze. Swimming in the Mediterranean after the climb was magical.

Worth the trip! The water was amazing. Our guides were very helpful and nice. I would recommend for a awesome experience!

We had the best day riding through Calanques National Park! Our guide Elena was amazing. She carefully explained how to use the ebikes and the team at the shop helped get our large group (4 adults and 5 teenage boys) organized and outfitted with bikes and helmets and water. The bikes are in excellent condition and the turbo mode made the steep hills a breeze! Elena was super professional, friendly, and really good at helping us navigate the busy city roads and national park road/trail. We highly recommend EVTT and Elena in particular!

We traveled through Marseille on bike, to the top of the Calanques. Three hours of pretty intense biking. The e-bikes made it doable. Louis was a great tour guide.

We loved our bike excursion to the Calanques. Martin was a great tour guide, and gave us lots of information about the area as we rode. The scenery was beautiful as we rode, and the Calanques were impressive. A great day!

Not fully electric bikes. You do have to pedal. Manu and Stephan were great. Helped us out when wife was struggling. We are in the 50+ age range and unsurprisingly, less fit than we thought. Great experience and wonderful views. You do get the chance to go for a swim. So, remember to take your swimming costume.

Must see amazing experience across the protected areas of Marseille a good workout, a good tour guide, and amazing views.

Great ride - the park was closed for the day because of extreme winds, but had a great alternate route to see the park from a parallel road. Very accommodating with our cruise ship arriving late. Teen boys favorite excursion.

This was by the far the best thing we did in Marseille! We were on a cruise and this excursion was perfect for our group of 10. Our guide was Martin and he was great leading us from the bike shop through the streets of Marseille and into the beautiful National Park. The ride was on electric bikes (which helped a ton) and had paved roads as well as gravel/rock/dirt. There are some steep inclines and declines, but the views of the bay (they call it a Calanque) at the top were breathtakingly beautiful and we even got some free time to explore the beach and water. Ages 11 through 51 enjoyed the excursion and we would highly recommend trying it!

We really enjoyed it but they should be a little more descriptive about the terrain for other people. Part of the excursion is a true mountain bike experience with gravel and rock. If you are not comfortable with that then don't do this! Otherwise the scenery is amazing and the guide Nickolas was very nice. It did get a little hectic when we got got back to the beach because it was Sunday and there was a lot of traffic and people.

We had a great time! There is spectacular scenery, great equipment, knowledgeable and friendly guides. The "assist" capability of the bikes was wonderful as there were some steep places on the route. Suggestion: change the wording for "Meeting point" to "Across from the Avia gas station and next to restaurant Le Carre" (instead of "In front of Avia gas station and near restaurant Le carre). We waited across the street in front of the gas station for 10 minutes until someone called to us.

Best active tour we've ever done. Frank was a great guide, the scenery was beautiful, and the e-bikes were a lot of fun. Had to uber/taxi from cruise port for about 20 minutes, but well worth it.

Lovely day trip around the Calanques, definitely recommend it! The biking part was no problem because the bikes were electrical, so the hills were no problem. I wouldnt mind stopping for longer at some places, so there would be time to take a little swim, but otherwise it was an amazing trip and the guide, Martin, was very nice.

All excellent very relaxed and informative. Martin was excellent great local & geographical and historical knowledge. The electric bikes were great and very easy to ride. We both loved it even though it was grey for the post part. Thank you.

Our e-bike adventure was so much fun! I’d highly recommend this to anyone. The bike made the uphills easy and you still get the thrill of riding down! The views were incredible and the swim spot couldn’t have been better. 100% worth it and would do it again

I enjoyed the tour but it did contain a lot of gravel surfaces which my wife was not prepared for. My e-bike had gearing issues and the guide (Martin) swapped out for me. Bring lots of water in July.

Riding an e-bike for the first time was notably easier & faster than a unmotorised bicycle. Really enjoyed the views across water, beach views & mountain views. A great experience cycling through a national park while learning about history & interesting facts about the local area. Our guide was friendly & informative. He kept the riders safe & was helpful for those who struggled a little on the hills. A fabulous few hours. Highly recommend.

Frank was absolutely wonderful. His directions for using the bike were crystal clear. He was kind and empathetic. The places he showed us were breathtakingly gorgeous. He was knowledgeable and funny! 10/10 would recommend, even though it was a bit challenging.

They do a very good job of showing you the National Park. Took us to a gorgeous first lookout just to find out there was a better one later on. They make sure everyone is well looked after with one guide in the front, one in back and one in middle. Was more challenging than anticipated, but if you enjoy biking and exploring you’ll love the tour.

Fantastic experience to visit the calanques in a more alternative and different way than the usual cruises. Frank, the guide, is very knowledgeable both in his explanations of the places and in his explanations of the ebikes. The ebikes are super and easy to use, just listen to Frank and you don't struggle at all. Highly recommended experience!

The first great signs were prompt communication after purchase and the great amount of detailed info on their website. Lots of nice detailed info on how to get to starting point. Email 48 hours before tour was nice as well. Frank on the day of tour promptly fit everyone with bikes and after a brief explanation we were off. I had ridden mountain bikes with rapid fire shifters so I was fairly familiar with the idea. Ebikes are the bomb. If you are well enough to handle a 45 min workout you will be fine on the uphills. Some downhill parts might scare those not familiar with any mountain biking experience, but Frank was understanding of all levels. The views are so very striking and really not possible unless you bike or hike there. I was so pleased that we were able to see this fab place and I would totally recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see the Calanques!!! Was a highlight of our time in Marsaille and this a spectacular place in France to see. And makes me totally consider buying an ebike or doing other ebike excursions. And fyi I am almost 50, healthy-ish woman who enjoys beer and cheesesteaks!

Top bikes, friendly guides. Just the group was too big (18, two guides). Duration of the tour was perfect for us. We took the shuttle boot back to Marseille Vieux port which was a perfect end to our tour.

Outstanding bike tour with incredible and conscientious tour guides. We did the tour with our 11 and 12 year olds who were the only children in the group. One of the two guides paid them extra special attention, guiding them through the electric bikes and giving helpful gear and shifting instruction throughout. It was our first experience on electric bikes and it could not have been more positive. The only thing to note: I feel like this may not be the best trip for very experienced riders. There is some mountainous terrain, plus some city riding, and there were very many stops by the guides to explain the upcoming partion of the ride, what to be aware of, and bike recommendations. Again, this was a perfect trip for us, but if I were alone, I would have wished for less stopping.

We had a great day. Our cruise ship docked at marseille and I wanted to have a challenging active excursion that was not far from the port. This hit all the boxes. Our guide was patient and explained how to use the bike and how to adjust it based on the different terrain. We got to see the calanques from a unique perspective which was stunning. Recommended for older teens/ adults who feel comfortable on a bike and comfortable riding through city streets sharing the road with cars as well as riding down bumpy rocky terrain with steep climbs and steep descents with sharp turns.

This was an unique experience! Highly recommended! The tour is nicely planned. The tour bikes are in perfect condition and the tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. He went out of the way and spend more time with the group so that they would get to enjoy the most. My son and daughter had a blast!

<p>This tour was everything advertised and more! We had a great time with our guide- the meet up spot was very easy to find. Shortly after we got situated with our bikes and headed out. The bikes were fairly easy to use, it just required some getting used to with the bike assist/ motorized element. He gave very clear indications of what gear to use, when to stop, when to enable the bike assist, etc. We rode through a few villages which were great sites themselves before stopping at the first calanque. Then we went through a very rugged natural area to get to the second calanque- Sormiou. We chose the harder option, which was indeed strenuous but totally worth the views along the way and at the end when we came to the look out. I did have a bit of a problem with my bike's chain it popped off a few times when changing gears, the first time was my fault but all in all it was a great morning.</p>

<p>Trip was thrilling. It was our first experience on electric assisted bikes but they were a blast! Clement was very professional, accommodating and patient. He took good care of us and quickly addressed minor issues with the bikes. Definitely a highlight of our trip and totally worth the rate.</p>

It was an extraordinary half-day that exceeded our expectations. The journey seems difficult, but with the electric bikes, it is a real charm. Louis was an extraordinary guide, very patient and kind to everyone. It was well worth every dollar invested in this activity.

The wheels are initially adjusted to the size and a helmet is handed out. Afterwards you will be introduced to the use of the electric drive of mountain bikes. I for one am quite tall (1.98m), which delayed the selection of the helmet and the bike slightly. Then begins the beautiful tour through a national park and green parts of the city. Our group consisted of 10 people (about 26-36 years), which turned out to be a pleasant group size and made the trip pleasant. In between, breaks are made to impart local knowledge of the place/region/flora and fauna. We found this to be very helpful, humorous and informative. So we were able to classify what was seen well. There is a half-hour break to stay in Calanque Sormiou. As a small improvement suggestion, we only noticed the stability of the seat height adjustment. It has repeatedly adjusted due to the rough ride and had to be readjusted manually. Otherwise, it should be mentioned that sportswear facilitates mobility, since the tour is sporty. Water must be brought by yourself. Overall, a really great experience, which we definitely recommend if you like it sporty and want to experience Marseilles surroundings and nature in a different way.

Perfectly organized outing. The bikes were in perfect condition. Watch out for people who lack balance there is quite a difference in level.

The first time for my 10 year old daughter and us adults on an eBike. A challenging but very nice tour and a great experience!
