Our tour guide was Thomas and he was incredible. Share great historical and local information with the group at each stop and during the driving portion. He was patient and made our adventure fun and memorable.

I had an enjoyable 1-day trip with Thomas. The 10-hour trip to 3 tourist attractions was well-timed and Thomas is knowledgeable and passionate about his Provence to give lively and succinct briefs about the various historical details and went above and beyond to ensure our tour group had a great experience.
The Day in Provence Small Group Tour from Marseille met all expectations as advertised. The payment and confirmation of my meeting time were done seamlessly.
We covered a lot of ground and had a great day of sightseeing. My fellow travelers were friendly and the guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
This is a great experience to see the Marseille countryside. While it is a longer side, the pacing is great. Also, the vineyard had great wine. I would definitely do this again.
Laurent was lovely and the tour was really fun! Each location was beautiful and we had a decent amount of time to do some sightseeing before moving on. Especially la Pont, it was a lovely nature break after travelling through some cities on our trip.
We were able to visit so many awesome sites in one day and our tour guide Marion was fabulous! She knew so much about the area and also happens to be a wine making expert, which added so much depth to our understanding of the region. Highly recommend this tour!
This was a good day trip! Emmanuel was a great guide and gave very good information about each location while also allowing time to explore on your own. He was also very accommodating as it started raining at the end of our trip. The wine tasting at the end of tour was good but do only serve red wines. I enjoyed the experience but don’t particularly like red wines.
Very busy day, we got to see a lot in the Provence area. Lucy was a fabulous host and very knowledgeable. Lots of history and lovely wine tasting at St. Patrice. Highly recommend if you want to see the sights in a short amount of time.
It was a wonderful day to cherish in memory of all its aspects.. Audrey the tour guide has a wealth of knowledge, dedication and professionalism. She is full of warmth and kindness in the way she makes every effort to deliver her excellence with a sense of calm and sincere dedication in every aspect of her work. She attends to every tour member with friendliness and dedication. Audrey is an excellent driver too and makes everyone on her tour feel blessed by her consummate attention to detail. Quite simply: The Best Tour Guide ever!
Our tour guide Audrey was great. Knowledgeable, fun and excited about showing tourist around. I would highly recommend this tour!
Full day with lots of good experiences. Marion was our guide and she was outstanding in every way. So knowledgeable about every place we went, and a real expert on wine making! She was awesome and we highly recommend this tour with Marion.
Thomas was amazing, so knowledgeable, very kind and has a fantastic sense of humour, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip even the extra 3 hours in the car because of the fire, all due to Thomas’s patience and kindness would highly recommed
Great day of seeing some highlights! Loved the itinerary, had a great group and our guide Caroline went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Highly recommend this tour if you find yourself with a day in Marseille!
Good day trip from Marseille. Guide was awesome. Very engaging and informative. Van was comfortable.
Wonderful day! Despite the longer than usual excursion hours, it almost wasn't enough to truly see everything. So many things to visit. Our guide, Pepe, was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend!
The day in Provence with Marion as our guide was amazing . We enjoyed the trip especially the trip to Avignon and pont Du Gard. Marion was a lovely guide , very knowledgeable and she made the trip fun. Would definitely recommend the trip.
A delightful experience with the joyful assistance of Emmanuel! The views and landscapes of each of the different points that we visit are unforgettable. A personal favorite was the Pont du Garde. Completely recommended!!!
We had a wonderful day with our guide Simone. We spent a day in the Luberon and visited three lovely villages. We went to a wonderful market in Loutmarin.
Great day out. We enjoyed the experience. The places we visited were great and so beautiful. The only feedback would be to have more wine tasting at the end, I felt that was quite rushed at the end.
A really enjoyable tour through the Provence region taking in some of the highlights & indeed some vino degustation. Our guide Bernardo was excellent & kept the info flowing throughout the day this coupled with a lovely group of people made it a wonderfully enjoyable day trip 5/5
Was a fantastic trip. The places we stopped at were amazing. Marion the guide was brilliant. Could not have asked for a better day.
This was a great tour.. Our guide Marian was excellent. Very knowledgeable and fun. We saw a lot during the day. Would have liked longer time in Le Baux de Provence- so much to see there. The van was new, clean and a very small group (6 people) which made the day enjoyable.
This tour is a great way to see a lot of Provence in a short amount of time. Our driver, Audrey, gave us lots of helpful and entertaining background information on the area and we never felt rushed. This tour gave us a great sampling of the area and we look forward to visiting again for a longer stay.
The tour was good, hostess was knowledgeable and we liked Florence (her name). However, minimum 100 characters is dumb!
John the tour guide was exceptional. He was very professional and shared some wonderful stories everywhere we went.
Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He spoke English very clearly too. The sights we got to see were incredible, and the way we saw them all in one day was ideal for a short time in Provence!
I had a very nice day-long introduction to Provence on this tour. We had a good size group of 6 people with Sebastian as our guide. The order in which we saw the different sights was a little different than in listed in the tour description, but as long as the Chateauneuf-du-Pape wine tasting is last (if you swallow), the order really makes no difference. The tour was well-organized, from pickup in Marseilles, to driving to all the different sites in a comfortable, air-conditioned van, to having an adequate amount of time in each location to look around (understanding that this is an introduction to Provence). Sebastian did an exceptional job as our guide: very courteous, knowledgeable, engaging, and funny! He took good care of our group from beginning to end, and because of this experience, I would definitely consider other tours offered by this particular company if/when I am back in the area. Importantly, I was also able to sign up for this tour as a solo traveler, something which is not available with some other tours offered on Viator.
the guide did not give much information . the locations were good. the guide do not speak fluent english
It was a great experience. Very balanced itinerary and a lot of time given to explore at the most interesting places. Laurent was great! Very knowledgeable and attentive.
Very reasonable route! Very satisfied with our guide Laurent. He is very pleasant. Avignon and Pont du Gard, amazing!
Our guide, Morgane was fabulous! She was informative…polite…a joy to be with. She explained everything in detail and answered our many questions. We say sites that we would have never seen if it wasn’t for this tour. Well worth the cost and time!
The tour was offered by Provence Tours. We took another tour that was also offered by Provence Tours and really enjoyed both tours. Our driver/tour guide was Laurent. Laurent was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, excellent driver and also was available to take those priceless photos. The van was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. In both instances in which we took tours with Provence Tours, we found the vans to be first class, clean, comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The highlight of the tour for us was number one wine tasting in the Chateauneuf-du-Pape region and a visit to Les Baux. We have previously the roman aqueducts in other countries so the Pont du Gard was what we expected and we were actually a bit underwhelmed by Avignon, perhaps from the poor lunch experience we had there. Anyhow the red wines at the winery we visited were amazing. Based on visiting several wineries in Europe and drinking a lot of rose during this vacation, we have a new found appreciation of European wines and seek them out when we go to our local wine stores in the U.S. Les Baux was an amazingly cool little town from a distance. Unfortunately, but perhaps not unexpected, upon walking through the town, it is clear that shops predominately occupy the cool little stone houses/structures so it lost a bit of its charm, at least for us. The second stop was Pont du Gard. We had ample time to walk on the old roman bridge/under the aqueduct, something we probably couldn't do in the U.S. The bridge goes over a small river and in the distance a castle is visible. Definitely a good experience. Avignon was a pretty cool experience and we had 3 hours to explore. Unfortunately for us, we really picked a lemon for a restaurant (Le Venaissin). It is partially our fault as we didn't properly vet the restaurant via proper searches and relied/let our guard down after seeing all the people eating at the restaurant. Our order was very basic but it literally took 45-50 minutes for the food to arrive. As time was a bit of the essence, losing 50 minutes waiting for our food to be served was a costly mistake. Additionally, when the food arrived it was just o.k. Definitely the worst meal we had during our vacation in Provence. Anyhow, after finishing our lunch, which took about 5 minutes, we headed out and tried to explore the town as fast as we could. We liked the town, at least what we could see within about 2 hours but didn't love the town. We also came away with the impression that we were fortunate to have chosen Aix-en-Provence for our place to stay as we had strongly considered staying at Avignon as well.
Amazing guide Morgane The itinerary the company offered was not rushed Lots of time given to visit the sites
Too many people in too small of a van. This van should hold 5 adults maximum. Sights were beautiful, but guide just dropped us off in the towns and expected us to figure everything out.
This was a great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We enjoyed all the stops! Highly recommend!
Fantastic day in Provence , an absolutely enjoyable and exciting day , everyone involved together by our brilliant guide Morgane . Highly recommend for a taste of Provence.
The tour was excellent but the guide had limited English skills and paid much more attention to the French couple. ‘ Today, we had a different tour ti Cassis,,,with Sebastian and he was exceptional
What an INCREDIBLE tour! My friend and I booked a trip to the South of France very last-minute and stumbled upon this tour, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Get ready for an action-packed day full of incredible views, good wine, insight from a lovely tour guide and even new friends. There was one other person on this tour with us (probably because it was the beginning of the tour season) but we instantly connected and had an amazing day with our guide AD. He was extremely knowledgable, kind and was an excellent translator. The winery stop was actually a wine festival that was happening in Châteauneuf-du-Pape which was INCREDIBLE! Extremely pleased with this tour and service.
We had a wonderful day learning more about southern France. Our tour guide, Florence, was amazing. She told great stories and history around each location and stop. We had a great day.
The trip was very good . And Florence is a really good guide . We enjoyed all the locations. I would recommend to my friends
Awesome day with a lot to see and enjoy. The views were incredible and all the information provided by our guide Florence was amazing.
La Bao was a fabulous visit of a small mideival village and we enjoyed the winery and the countryside. Our guide was informative and really knew his history. He was fabulous.
Fab tour !! Would highly recommend it. Our tour guide Nicholas was so knowledgeable. The scenery & history was amazing !! Loved having a few hours to wander on our own in Avignon too.
We had a lovely day in Aix en Provence and Marseille on this tour. Saw and learned alot of interesting history and had time to explore a little on our own too.
Amazing day in Provence. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the region. Transportation was smooth and comfortable. Just the right amount of time in every destination. Will definitely recommend to people who wants to have a taste of everything in one day!
We had an wonderful day touring various sites in Provence. Alex was very knowledgeable on the history of the area and so much more. He really was the highlight of the day! I would recommend this tour to everyone!
A lovely day exploring Provence. Morgan was an enthusiastic, engaging and knowledgable guide for our day. A great way to see some of Provence’s highlights was perfect for us.
Great way to experience Provence in such a short time. We felt that we had sufficient time at each stop to explore on our own, grab a bite to each, or visit shops. We had a fantastic trip with Morgane and she was always accommodating for the group’s needs.
The day trip was one of the best trip we ever did. Starting our journey from Marseille Vieux Port we enjoyed our journey in the luxury air conditioned van which had enough leg space and sitting area. The journey was smooth and interactive with Sebastian giving us snippets of information about Marseille, Provence and various other attributes of France. The first leg of the trip was to Provence Le Baux. We went to a village shielded by a castle on the mountain top. It was very beautiful. After the trip we went to Pont-du-Gard to see a bridge built by Romans to deliver water from Rhone river to a city. The amazing structure was magnificent and was very impressive. Then we moved to the city of Popes - Avignon. It was a beautiful walled city of Popes and had a nice vive to it. Finally we ended the trip with a visit to Chateauneuf-de-pape. The wine tasting was amazing and left us high and mesmerized. Definitely the trip was a five star trip with Sebastian. His pop quiz and knowledge kept the trip exciting. Only let down was the co-passengers who cribbed and cried for five minutes delay by us to reach to the destination point in time. I thought we have come to enjoy not attending conference or lecture. One couple was such a letdown and a bummer which spoilt the flavour of the trip for us. I pray you dont get such bummers in your trip
