ARIF was AMAZING! Great sense of humor and very kind. We learned a lot and we saw some beautiful things. Walked/shopped around Provence, drove to Cassis and ate at L’oustau de la Mar and had delicious food. We got stuck in a huge downpour and flooding streets. Arif helped us get to a different location over the phone so we didn’t have to walk in the flooded street. We drove through Marseille and saw the sites. Although it was raining, we had a great day.

This was a wonderful tour. Our only glitch was where to find the tour operator when we got off the cruise ship in Marseilles. We should have met him right at the ship exit, but we took shuttle into town to find him. All worked out in the end. Town of Casse was awesome!
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about our tour. He took us to spots in Marsaille and was very considerate of women who couldn’t walk as fast. He booked us a reservation for lunch in the most beautiful scenic. Restaurant and the food was amazing. Overall an excellent tour with an excellent guide.
We had an amazing day in Marseille. Thanks to our amazing tour guide, Bruno. Bruno was incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly and welcoming. He made the tour so much fun and enjoyable while sharing so much interesting information about the areas we've visited. You could tell he truly loves what he does. Cassis was absolutely breathtaking and without a doubt the highlight of our entire trip in Marseille. The beautiful scenery, charming atmosphere and stunning views made it a place we will never forget. Thank you Bruno for making our tour so much fun and memorable for the Fam. And also, thank you for my bottle of wine. Un grand merci.
An excellent tour of Aix-En-Provence, with a great photo stop on the Falaises de Cassis, lunch in Cassis and a trip to Notre Dame de la Guarde in Marseilles with its views. François was an ideal guide: friendly, funny and informative. Bernard was an excellent driver. Truly felt like a “Super VIP” experience. Consider adding on another hour in Marseille!
We really enjoyed our tour with Gilles. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have seen negative reviews that said he was on his phone too much but I felt that his time on his phone was more about making sure we never felt like we were on his schedule. He had a tour in mind for us but also never wanted us to feel rushed or pressured. He wanted us to spent as much or as little time wandering as we wanted. He was always present both physically and mentally if we wanted to talk or learn about something but it never felt like he was hovering. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of great information with us, as we are very interested in history. He really made sure we saw wha we wanted and he even ended up spending extra time touring with us. My older and less mobile parents were with us too and he was always very patient making arrangements so that they could do things at their pace while the rest of us did things faster. Over all, a wonderful tour
Our tour guide was amazing and showed us beautiful places. We travelled with a wheelchair and he made it seamlessly comfortable. Very knowledgeable.
Gille was terrific as a guide. Everything we saw was enjoyable and interesting. He recommended a very good restaurant for lunch. Very accommodating
This tour was excellent and a must! Our tour guide Gilles was exceptional. Very well informed, friendly and patient. Traveling with 7 women who want to shop is not easy. He was 😊
Our booking said 8am…our guide’s booking said 9am. Apparently this was a third party booking. Our guide Gilles was a nice man, but he spent the entire tour on his phone. We had to ask questions because he was not informative. We spent a lot of time at a flea market. He was more of a driver than a guide. Disappointed.
Our guide was friendly and knowlegable and gave us a great glimpse of Aix en Provence, Cassis and Marseille! We enjoyed it very much!
Our tour guides Sylvie and Michel were genuinely nice people and tried to give us a tour. The problem is that they both spoke Portuguese and only a few words of English. We went to many places but did not know what we were seeing, with the exception of 2 or 3 facts shown to us through Google translate. We did not learn and history, facts or information about this beautiful region. They picked us up late, were unable to locate where the van was parked in Provence and poor time management led to us missing the final 3 stops in Marseille. It was such a beautiful area and had the potential to be the highlight of our vacation. It is just unfortunate that we were given guides that were unable to communicate with us and give us the tour as promised.
Nice trip overall, a good tour guide and a nice exploration for the 3 locations within the area. We were visiting on Sunday morning so it wasn’t crowded and too many shops were closed.
Our guide and driver worked well together and made the tour designed around our requests. Would highly recommend this tour!
Excursion was amazing from start to finish! Mathieu really listened to what we wanted to do and created the perfect itinerary for us! Loved it!
Although the start of our tour was not good, it ended up being an unforgettable experience! Our original assigned driver was a now show, but the company sent a replacement, who arrived there 40 minutes after our tour was supposed to start. That added a level of stress that I didn't need on my vacation, but Greg promised to make up for it, and so we embarked on our tour. We drove 40 minutes to Aix en Provence, there, we visited the cathedral, walked around the city center, got some peaches from the market in la place and got some pastries at Weibel at the recommendation of our guide. We also did some shopping in some unique stores, and our group of 6 adults, we all concluded that this is a place we would like to return and explore more of. Our second stop was Cassis. We first went up the mountain to get some absolutely breathtaking views of the towns and marina. We then drove down to the town walked around through the stores and another market at la place. Got some lunch at a local restaurant, took some beautiful pictures and enjoyed the beach atmosphere of the town. There were many references around both cities to "The Little Prince" since Antoine de Saint Exupery is from that area of France. We then went back to our ship. We decided to skip the visit to Marseille itself in favor of more time in Aix and Cassis.
We were two families of 4 traveling together and had such a wonderful time with our driver, Jimmy. I didnt know the itinerary ahead of time but apparently the title of the tour was something about Lavender Fields. I just thought it was going to be generic sightseeing around a couple towns. It ended up being EPIC and possibly the highlight of our 10-day cruise. The locations Jimmy brought us to were exceptional. Nothing I would have known about to plan ahead of time. We had such a great day and were so exhausted after so many excursions that nearly all of us fell asleep on the drive back to the ship (sorry, Jimmy!). If you are looking to book a day away from the crowds of the ship-planned excursion, look no further.
Wonderful private tour - our guide Anoir was outstanding. Aix de Provence wry quant town - Cassis absolutely gorgeous. Had lunch in Cassis right at the marina - then went to a spectacular view from the cliffs nearby.
The tour guide was very professional and friendly, ~Anoir Cherki actually cares about his job. We enjoyed the tour
This company was not professional. Don’t believe what they write on their page. I had booked this for my friends of 8. We were waiting for over an hour when they told us to be down at the port at 8am! I did not get an email or any kind of communication that the tour was cancelled. I even called and ask if they were coming and all I got was “yes, yes”. Then I had to call TripAdvisor and they were very helpful and was able reach the company and the company said they cancelled the tour with no communication to us! TripAdvisor should take them off their site and should not endorse this company at all.
Every part of this tour Aix, Cassis was special because of the professionalism, knowledge and flexibility of Robert Di Stefano our driver. The best! The first company we booked through Viator confirmed it. then canceled us because our NCL Prima was ship coming into the port an hour later than scheduled and they refused to come at 9am Instead of 8am. We had to immediately call Viator to book a different driver guide company. Turned out great because Robert’s company Camargue VTC Limousines turned out to be fabulous. Exceeded our expectations.
DO NOT BOOK ! We had already confirmed and paid for the tour. When we got to the port nobody was waiting for us, waited an hour and called the number listed on the app, after several attempts someone answered and said he had no tours for the day and hung up. Called tripadvisor and the rep tried to call the same number and he told the rep we should wait and hanged up on the customer rep as well. We were traveling with small children (1 and 4) so you can imagine the stressful situation this put our family under. Horrible experience! Luckily we ended up with a taxi that charged us one third of what we were going to pay and ended up having a great time.
We had an absolutely amazing time in France. Our tour guide, Stephan, completely made the tour. He was so kind and knowledgeable. He made the tour very personal and he was so patient with my young son. We were on a cruise and he had no problem getting back to our ship with plenty of time. I would definitely do this tour again.
This is an unguided tour. The driver is polite and friendly. We were dropped off in Provence to walk around but really didn't know what to do. Then we went to Cassis for fisherman's soup. It was beautifully presented but was very bland to me. The final stop is the Notre Dame, it is beautiful. Over all, I would pick a different tour, either different locations or guided.
Visiting AIX en Provence and the port at Cassis were so quaint, a uniqueness we all enjoyed. Had a nice lunch at a restaurant by the sea side in Cassis.
We had a wonderful day in Marseille/Aux Provence/Cassis. We were a family of 16. Our tour guide Kat and driver Eddy were great and accommodating. I think the highlight was Eddy surprised and bought us fresh croissant :) which was AMAZING!! The lookout scene at Cap canaille (cliff ) was beautiful!! We finished our tour with a delicious lunch (and LOTS of wine!!) at Cassis. I highly recommend this company. Thanks again Kat and Eddy (Best wishes with your bundle of joy :) From the Almeida and Squatrito Family
Matt was very nice! He personally showed us around, answered numerous questions, recommended great places to eat, and was an all around great tour guide!
Our tour guide canceled at 10:45 the night before we ported so we had no time to even try to find another shore excursion. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY OR YOU MAY BE VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
Our driver Matt was amazing. He was personable, flexible and patient with our large group (8 of us) and knew the best places to visit. Aix was a very neat town to visit. We also enjoyed Cassis and ate at a restaurant that Matt booked for us on our request. The cliffs above Cassis was our favorite part of the trip. We spent most of our time in these areas and did very little in Marseille, just drove through it and we wished we had more time to visit the very beautiful church there in Marseille. The Mercedes sprinter van was brand new. Matt was on time and made us feel at home immediately.
We had a wonder day with Anoir visiting Provence, Marseille, and Cassis. Anior was excellent and very professional. We enjoyed spending the day with him. Some of the highlights were visiting a charming French Market, cliff side views, our water side lunch in Cassis and our visit to the Norte Dame Cathedral. We where on a 12 day cruise on the Celebrity Edge and this private tour was one of our favorites. The Mississippi ladies.
We had a phenomenal time because of our tour guide, Arion! He was knowledgeable and helped us how to learn to say certain words in French. Aix en Provence and Cassis are beautiful, but Arion was the perfect guide!
Our guide Anior made our trip magical. He was professional and fun to be with. We toured two towns and enjoyed an excellent lunch. Thank you!
We had a fantastic time. Stéphane, our guide could not have been more accommodating and made the tour accessible to the whole group, including those with limited mobility. His knowledge of Aix and Marseille was very deep and he even charmed his way into a couple of unexpected sites. The national park above Cassis had a stunning view and lunch was great. I highly recommend this tour. Stefan made it feel like traveling with a friend.
Adam was easy going and fun to be with. He was able to determine what our group (8 people) were interested in and catered the trip to our liking. We had a wonderful excursion departing from the port in Marseielle . Shopping at a quaint little village. Views from a national park. Eating at a seaside port, and a quick stop at The Notre-Dame de la Garde. It was our first private excursion and Adam made it a wonderful experience. A true professional. And no bus tours in sight!
The expectations of our 8 member group plunged after less than 20 minutes into our 8 hour tour when a mechanical failure left us standing on the side of the road waiting for a replacement vehicle. It got worse: 1) Adam left us with his taxi driver friend without an apology or explanation; just "have a nice day." 2) Our replacement driver, although pleasant and helpful, was not familiar with Aix-en-Provence or the historical background. In summary, … To cap off this €820 tour fiasco was Adam’s response to a polite request for a partial refund - he expressed a lack of compassion for his customers and a total lack of accountability for a subpar (with a different guide) tour that was directly related to his lack of basic van maintenance. This overpriced "tour" was basically a taxi ride that should have cost much less as the taxi's meter was only €315 (paid by Adam) when the trip ended. What a disappointment…
Amazing tour and guide! It was perfect to go to 3 different locations and see different things. I can’t decide what I liked best- sampling food at the local open markets in Aix en Provence, the quaint Cassis waterfront, the pastries or the views! Adam was wonderful, he tailored our tour based on us wanting to see the best views of the towns and the mediterranean.
Wonderful tour and driver. Aix was wonderful and took us all around. Thank you!! Would definitely recommend for a private tour and to get around with ease
Our driver was excellent, super patient and friendly. We got to go to all the sights with plenty of free time to explore. The car was clean and neat.
Amazing. Found a great restaurant. Toured us around aix. So incredible. Adam was wonderful. Lunch was delicious.
When you leave Marseille towards noth prepare your self to see beautiful scenery, small green hills, field of lavender, rivers. Every restaurant is fine dining place. Casis is cosy small place with beach and restaurants. Clean water and possible boat trips, good for one day trip but also for relaxing longer stay. Mediterranean at it's best. Marseille is busy, noisy, a bit wild city. Be prepare to spend a bit as the region is not cheap.
Very scenic. Driver was very patient. Comfortable ride. We did not feel rushed at all. Guide was informative and showed us a round quite a bit
Adam, our tour guide was great. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. If you are English speaking, you don’t have to worry because he speaks English very well. He was super patient with us and allowed us to determine what we wanted to do and patiently waited for us at all the stops. It’s a great tour if you just want enough to see all 3 locations and their main tourist attractions (Cassis, Provence and Marseille). If you are the type of person that likes to tour entire cities for a while then this is probably not the tour you want. It’s fast and furious which is something we like as a family of 5. I’m sure though if you wanted to just skip a venue, Adam would make it work. A word of advice though, do not skip Cassis. What an amazing town with incredible views. As Adam said to us, you haven’t seen anything unless you’ve seen Cassis. Total truth!
Our tour guide adam was amazing!! Took us to all the spots in Mariselle, local markets, beautiful sights, great transportation and hospitality. Modern van to fit the whole family. Definitely recommend!
Emilio picked up up at the EXIT TO THE CRUISE PORT (not at your ships dock) and was a terrific guide and spent the day showing us the best of 4 of the 5 cities of the Cinque Terre. His information brought to life the history of the region and the significance it holds. We did quite a lot of walking up hills and steps on a very hot Humid day but it was worth it for the views and experiences. We easily earned our 10,000 steps per day on this tour so be sure you are dressed for it. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see it all in about 6 hours.
Abadel was excellent, spoke 3 languages and was very informative and gave us plenty of time to explore 3 cities. Highly recommend
Great trip and are driver was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend. The three place we visited was great.
Really enjoyed spending the day with Adam. He picked us up promptly from our cruise ship and had a clean Mercedes passenger van and cold drinks waiting for us. My daughter wasn't feeling well, so he was able to guide us to a pharmacy and get her some medicine for her motion sickness. Later, he took us to the best shops for sites, shopping, and made some great recommendations. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely use his service again.
It was a nice overview of the three locations. Our driver was very friendly and puncutal. Cassis was especially beauriful on the water and we had a very nice lunch at that location. Marseille and Provence were very beautiful and in marseille we went up to Notre Dame and had a beautiful view of the city.
Gregory was wonderful guide, showing our group a great variety of places in Provence, Cassis and Marseille.
This was supposed to be a wheelchair accessible tour, but the guide showed up in a regular van, not one with a lift or ramp. It was a very expensive tour without that accessibility. The tour guide was also unfamiliar with where accessible restrooms were. The sites were nice with beautiful scenery, but we were unable to get a view of the Calanques from land.
