The tour is an absolute delight given the places we saw and the stops along the way. Truly nourishing beauty, enhanced by Ben, our tour guide. He was a lovely gentleman who shared insights, history and remarks which opened our eyes and understanding of what we were seeing. We had so much fun. The stops were perfect. Nothing rushed. Felt safe and secure, and we enjoyed it all. Can’t praise Ben enough: he was delightful.

Dating from the Middle Ages, Eze was built on top of a rocky outcrop. Walk along the cobbled streets, and reach the top of the village to find the castle ruins and the exotic garden. Enjoy the view from 1,400 feet (427 meters) high, and then head down to the Fragonard Perfume Factory (Perfumerie Fragonard).
The village of La Turbie, also known as the 'Terrace of Monaco' because of its panoramic view of the principality. Admire the ruins of the Trophy of the Alps, a 164-foot-tall (50-meter) monument dedicated to Emperor Augustus, built circa 7 BC on the road that once linked Italy with Cimiez (the Roman quarter of Nice).

Our trip and experience was priceless and what made this exceptional was our tour guide. He made it ever so special and treated us like family. Hats off to him.
Excellent guide, good tour, but far too long in Perfume factory, and not enough in Monte Carlo. That is just wrong!!!
That give this promenade after just the formuls one and it was s disaster I send an email to you when you will read it you will understand
The tour was interesting, the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The vehicle was comfortable and clean. The places we toured were beautiful and interesting. Overall the experience was very good and I would highly recommend the tour.
Very personalized tour. Mixture of guided tour and fun collaboration with our tour guide. He gave us the historical background for Greeks, Romans, Algerians etc. Very interesting. Highly recommended.
This was a great tour, our guide, Reina, did a great job navigating our tour to miss traffic and crowds! We didn’t stick to the planned “itinerary” but it worked out better. He basically drove us, and then guided us to the sights and sounds of Eze, and Monte Carlo, and back to Eze for the perfume tour. He then gave us our own free time each place to tour at our own pace! I wished we could have skipped the perfume tour and spent more time in Monte Carlo or gone to St. Jean Cap Feret, but he said we had to do the perfume tour! The only negative was that I felt like I had to ask him questions, and he was a little annoyed when I did ask questions. He wasn’t very forthcoming with random history or fun facts which I like, but when I asked him questions, he gave me good detailed answers! Overall solid tour! Thanks so much!
Rena, our tour driver, was excellent! She was very knowledgeable about the history and facts of the area and kept it fun. She even helped steer the tour a little bit as we told her we liked F1 and were interested in the Monaco Brewery. I enjoyed the free time to do what we wanted in all of the places. The only downside was the perfumery tour, which is sort of like a tourist trap to get you in there and through their assembly-line factory tour to the gift shop. Rena explained this is part of the tour that can’t be omitted as they’re a good partner with the tour company etc.
The experience is wonderful, Bello took us to Monaco and Monte Carlo, we visit Fragonard perfumerie, we also view the Guard Change in front of the Palace of Monaco, the Cathedral, plus the ride in town were the luxury of fine cars, casino and top stores are, plus the famous Hotel The Paris, were the most rich and famous stays. We had a wonderful time for shop and to taste the delicious food in the Monaco restaurants in special La Pampa, in front of the palace. A must see!
What a perfect experience!! Great amount of time spent in each place, super interesting sights, even places I didn’t realize would be cool (like Eze) really surprised us. Our driver/tour guide was amazing and told us so much great info. This was my husband’s favorite day. We did this as a stop on a cruise and they were super good about time as well.
I booked 3 bookings (6 adults each bookings) On my group and another group had so much fun. But the the 3rd group was super upset about their Driver Mach. They said he wasn't pleasant to talk to. They begged him to have 20 minutes in Monte Carlo since they drove by there but he told them. The people on his group didn't get to go out and take pictures in the beautiful Monte Carlo. Instead, he threaten them that they will miss the ship. They had some time to take a quick 10 mins picture if he listened to his travelers. They are rating him 2⭐️ On the other hand, we had Jouet, another younger men in my group. They are fantastic! I will rate them 5✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our guide, Ben, was the absolute best! Our tour of Eze & Monaco were fantastic, we saw enough to make us want to come back to spend more time there.
Although Monaco is a bit of a ride from Cannes, it is well worth it! It’s amazing to view from a distance but equally interesting to walk through. And the Monte Carlo Casino was so beautiful!
What a terrific tour - Belo did a very professional tour of Cannes & Monaco. Very nice clean vehicle and excellent insight into the area that only a local person can provide. Money well spent and would quickly sign up again if the opportunity presents
Our guide, Sabine, was fantastic! Easy to find right off the port and ready to go with just one other couple. Beautiful, Mercedes van with AC and very comfortable. We got to choose where we wanted to sound out time and was very flexible. She even helped us stop at a store and buy some very inexpensive, but highly rated wine. We highly recommend this tour and Sabine! Eze, is an absolute must for this port!🇫🇷❤️
Small group, comfortable van, and what most important, amazing tour leader. Delicate, educated, charming man. He showed us for short period of time so much of Monaco, Monte Carlo, Eze, la Turbia that we fall in love with that region. Thank you, thank you for all.
Excellent tour and good value for money. Our tour guide was Zara. She had excellent knowledge of the area and would go out of her way to assist in any way. Would highly recommend.
The tour brought us to beautiful places. Our tour guide, Sabine, was amazing. She was very informative and catered the tour timing to meet our needs. We really enjoyed the places we visited. Thank you!
I booked this trip weeks ahead of time, and although the communication with Viator was good before the trip, the details about WHERE to meet the guide were not detailed enough! Our group of 4 came off the Virgin Cruise ship and expected to see our guide on the pier holding a sign with our name on it, per their instructions. However, we walked around for 20 minutes trying to find him, and finally found him across the street, in the shade, holding a small sign. We then had to walk 15 minutes in the hot sun to the van! The worst thing about the trip however, was the van was packed with 8 customers plus the driver, and it was extremely HOT. We kept having to ask the driver to turn up the AC, which eventually stopped working altogether! At our first stop, after an hour drive, the driver changed out the van for another one with an AC that worked. However, even that van was uncomfortably hot the rest of the day! The driver/tour guide was OK but not great. We skipped the perfume tour, which was supposed to be part of the trip, and barely made it to Monaco in time for the changing of the guard. Overall, it was a long and uncomfortable day, and WAY overpriced for what we experienced.
We were on a cruise and meeting driver off our tender. We informed tour guide we were on tender so he knew we were on our way and they replied with a 🩷. When we got off tender and walked to meeting spot no one was there. That is when I looked on what’s app and they said they left. We tried to have them come back and they said they did, but we were standing at entrance of parking lot and no one ever returned (based on description of car/plate). This was very disappointing and our only negative experience after 12 other ports/tours with other vendors. We’re waiting on a refund and are disappointed as we were looking forward to this experience.
This was the best tour hands down to visit Monaco! We drove the F1 circuit, toured a perfume factory, drove through the city and heard so much about the history of the area. The changing of the guard was also a nice touch. Highly recommend!! Our guide was Fatima and she has to be the best guide they have!!
Jaoued did a wonderful job showing us around Eza, Monte Carlo and Monaco. He was very knowledgeable about each town and gave us time to explore on our own. He also recommended a fabulous restaurant for us in Cannes and another city for us to explore.
There is a lot of walking up hill and lots of stairs, but worth it because it is a beautiful tour. Our guide Jaoued was extremely knowledgeable, polite and very nice. He was also a great driver and very courteous. Jaoued went the extra mile to make sure everyone on the tour was kept interested and involved. We all learned a lot about the riviera, Monaco and the impact of the Roman Empire.
Viator made our tour as amazing as it gets. Our tour guide made us feel like longtime friends and created an experience that was incredible. So grateful for the level of professionalism Viator arranges.
We had an amazing tour of Eze, Monte Carlo, and Old Town Monaco, made even better by our excellent guide, Ian. He was prompt, informative, and gave fantastic sightseeing recommendations at every stop, helping us make the most of each location. From breathtaking views in Eze to the charm of Old Town Monaco and the glamour of Monte Carlo, Ian’s insights and tips added so much value to the experience. The views alone are worth the trip, but with Ian as your guide, it’s a must-do. Great value for the price—highly recommended!
Perfect amount of time in each location, just the right amount of history and leisure time. Our guide Jouad was fantastic.
Thin, our guide, was excellent. Really knowledgeable about local history, current affairs and a great sense of humour. He organized our day to mitigate potential hazards (Macron and the UN in town) which meant we had a super smooth trip via Eze gardens, with amazing views if the Côte d'Azur, then on down in to Monaco with a stop on the way for an aeriel overview. Really puts it all into perspective! Got there with time for a wander, shop, bite to eat and then see the Changing of the Guard at the Palace. Wandered back to pickup via Cathedral and an obligatory ice cream stop. Home via the Fragonard Perfume Factory for an interesting high-level walk through of perfume production with exit through the well-stocked shop. Overall an excellent trip. Our comfortable VW minivan had perfectly functioning AC and lovely fellow-travellers. It was a lot of fun. Thank you so much. Made the Birthday Girl very happy...
This shore excursion was a great way to get a taste of the French Riviera as Jaoued could show us the important highlights and bring us back on time for our cruise.
Sabine was a wonderful tour guide. She was knowledgeable and very nice. She showed us around but we also had free time to explore on our own. It was a nice balance.
We had a wonderful guide that went above and beyond to accommodate our cruise timing and fit everything possible into the day!
Thin was a great guide. 10/10 recommend. He explained all the relevant background history and was very entertaining and knowledgeable. He also gave us good recommendations in the area.
We really enjoyed our tour but only got to see the Vatican Museums. I understood why we couldn’t use the skip the line tickets for the Sistine due to The passing of Pope Francis but also couldn’t see St Peter’s Basicala but were told we could go back on our own in the morning before 10 or after 5 which we did and had to pay on our own for more tickets again. She said there were too many other groups in there at the time. So only received 1/3 of our tour.
We picked the perfect tour for our short time in the Côte D’Azure. Ben was a fantastic tour guide and was on time for our pick up. He pointed out interesting facts about the region while driving and even took his time in showing us the big yachts in Monaco. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family if they are interested in traveling to the French Riviera. Ben speaks at least 5 languages and is an expert conversationalist. If you are in the area for only a day or two, this tour is a great way to see the highlights.
We had a lovely tour guide called Hedwig who was very informative and friendly explaining all about the beautiful places we visited . It was July 2023 when our Virgin cruise line docked in Cannes , we had booked a private tour and would highly recommend .
This was an excellent day tour covering important highlights of Cannes, Nice, Eze and Monaco. Our tour guide Nicolas was very personable, knowledgeable, flexible with the schedule and took us to many outlook locales where you could take awesome photos of the Cote d’Azure cities and coastlines. We loved Eze and highly recommend entry to see the gardens and the top city.
The trip was great and we had pleasant stops at key places. Melene was an excellent guide. The stop at Monte Carlo was very nice.
Picked up on time during a rain storm & slow tender & welcomed with umbrellas to use on our tour. Pleasant informative & knowkedavke.
This was to be our first tour of an 11 day cruise. The group assured me we would have no problem being picked up from the ship port. Our ship tendered that day and we were told to get tender tickets for our group at 8am, we went at 7:45pm and was in group 5 out of over 20 groups. We stayed in contact by What's App about our timing. The water was choppy due to storms and they were aware. When they had the other guest they text, while we were on the tender that they were going without us because other clients were unhappy waiting. I asked for a refund if they were dropping us. I have tired since our return and they refuse to refund our cost. We spent more that our price over to get another tour. Thankfully it was a good reputable guide. I WOULD NOT BOOK WITH THEM. All the assurances were were given went out the window. If they choose to go without us a refund should have been issued. I booked this tour 11 months before the tour date.
Guide did very good job and was knowledgeable and pleasant to be with . Had time on ground to see and do what was needed to get the experience of the location
We had the worst guide person, we did never know his name, very rude, ignored us all entire tour, did not answer any of our questions. Also we paid for a private tour for four people and ended with another group of 4. He was focused with them
The tour started off ok we made it to Eze and then Monaco however they do you off in an area strictly for tourists. The views were beautiful but it was all the same vendors/souvenir shops and restaurants. We were there for an hour and a half and certainly could’ve spent time somewhere else . The reason I booked this tour was more for Monte Carlo area and seeing the casino and walking around. We received a phone from our driver as we waited in Monaco only to say the van was taken by police. Other members on the tour left items on the van as we were assured they were safe. The tour group itself called us to say the driver got sick so there weee conflicting stories as to what really happened. We were then told a van could be out to us possibly in an hour. The 6 of us on the tour eventually found a taxi and had him drive us back to Cannes. It cost us 240€. The best part of the tour I missed and the tour ended sourly. Very disappointed. The guide himself was great.
Tour guide was very nice, knowledgeable and very passionate about his job. Beautiful place to visit.
We loved our guide Ben. He was very knowledgeable about history and especially getting around in very busy congested cities. He met all of our needs and the best part was there were only 5 of us on this trip. A must do with this company. Run by Liven-Up Very accommodating. Highly recommend ****
I booked this trip based on the reviews and expected a private tour with a personal touch but instead got no more than 15 minutes of information from the guide during the whole day - and that was after asking 4-5 times for some detail about the places we were seeing. Most of the time in the car Rodrigue was either silent or just talking to my husband quietly at the front so no one else could hear. He'd simply drop us to the key locations and tell us when and where to meet him afterwards. We honestly could have saved money by hiring a car ourselves or using taxis. I didn't expect non stop conversation but feel like we left the tour with very little insight into the history of where we went - I could have googled what was covered. At one point the "guide" told me he'd told us everything about Monoco and to tell him what I wanted to know. The worst thing he was clearly knowledgeable and spoke great English - he simply didn't care enough about his job to share his knowledge to make the tour a good experience for us. I've been on plenty of private and group tours and always tip and provide really positive reviews when I've had a good experience (which has been most of the time) but this was by far the worst tour I've ever been on. Not cheap with 2 teenagers, a 4 year old, my husband and I but I thought it was worth getting a private tour to really make the most of our day - I think the other guides sound much better from the reviews so I think we just had very bad luck.
We enjoyed every minute, our guide was very knowledgeable and very engaging the entire trip. We can’t wait to go back!
Tin Phonk was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the entire journey. He was a historian through and through. So polite and helped me navigate each stop. He was amazing and I’ll definitely reach out to use him again on my next trip!
We had an amazing day! The perfume factory is fantastic and the fragrances that I purchased are fabulous. We also went to Monaco and Monte Carlo. My group enjoyed every aspect of this excursion!
This was the most amazing experience! Our guide was so friendly and informative. Would recommend to anyone it's not to be missed!
Our day trip to Monaco, Eze, and la Turbie was fantastic. We were worried at first with the rain, but our driver, Michael, had plenty of umbrellas to share. The tour felt very personal and was able to accommodate an earlier return time to port to ensure return to our cruise ship before all aboard. I feared the stop at the perfume factory in Eze would be a tourist trap, but it was wonderful and my favorite part of the day. Highly recommend this tour!
Great tour and wonderful guild. Everything they said it was going to be. Very personable and professional
