This was a great day trip, breathtaking scenery and nice balance of hiking and resting. Alex was a wonderful guide and took us several key areas of the Calanques National Park for us to maximize our day while making sure everybody is on pace. We also had a very relaxing break at a beach area with amazing view and Alex also provided snacks for us to enjoy with the view. This is a must visit place if you are in the area and the guide tour was an excellent value for the money

Thank you Lucy. You are a great guide with a happy spirit with a vast knowledge base. I enjoyed swimming in the sea and hiking through the Calanques park.
Lucy was an exceptional tour guide! She was very knowledgeable of the area, very friendly and always making sure we were doing well. I am so happy for our beautiful hike, with swimming and a nice French lunch/snack. I couldn't have asked for more :) Thank you Lucy!!
Adrien is phenomenal Knowledge and caring describes him The hiking was great, the scenery breathtaking
A great experience to enjoy a hike in the Calanques park. Our guide, Alex was very nice and knowledgeable about the region. Some parts of the hike were challenging but overall an unforgettable experience.
A hike that I would consider intermediate level but truly awesome. Not too long. Just right. Alex was excellent
Great group, lively and knowledgeable guides, overall great and fun experience. We enjoyed the entire trip.
Our guide Claire took us on a wonderful hike through the natural park and down to a swim in the caves. We can highly recommend it!!
This was an amazing experience! The park is a must visit if you’re in Marseille and enjoy hiking. The views are stunning. Our guide Sasha was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. As a beginner hiker, this was very physically challenging/demanding; especially since our return was mostly climbing.
An absolute spectacular excursion but be prepared for a moderate to challenging hike. If you’re willing to make the trek, it’s worth the effort. Very happy with this excursion. The guides were amazing, made the effort to speak English and very informative. They made the day. Thank you Adrien and Alex.
Adrien and Alex were amazing. They guided us through this relatively challenging going hike and treated us like rockstars. The swim and lunch half way through was amazing. We’re so grateful to have had this experience.
Our guide Claire was super sweet- she was focused on both fun and safety, ensuring we had a great time on our hike!
This is both challenging and yet incredibly rewarding experience. We had people from all sorts of ages and experiences (including me a sedentary barely did much walking before) and still had a blast! That said please be very aware of the weather, it’s ridiculously hot in July and there were many times I thought I would not make it, it took me 2 days to fully recover.
This hike was more physically demanding than I thought it would be, but it might have been related to the heat, as it was in the 90’s while we were hiking back up. But, the views were incredible, the water was unbelievable, and having a little picnic and cool-off half way through a hiking trip was absolutely worth it. Vicky was sweet and helpful, knowledgeable and engaging. Would definitely recommend this with the caveat that it is fairly demanding and if you aren’t prepared for hours of hiking, this might not be for you. Otherwise, you’ll love it.
Wonderful hike through the Calanques. Lucy was a fantastic guide. Very insightful, kind, and patient. A bit challenging to traverse, but well worth the effort.
Fantasic guided hike. Claire was a brilliant guide, and I really appreciated the care she took to make sure everybody stayed stafe in the sweltering heat (ensuring we all had enough water before setting off, making sure we took regular breaks, giving options about different routes etc). The hike itself was stunning, as was the spot we stopped for a swim and a small pincnic of local food. Would definitely recommend!
This Calanques National Park hiking tour was good on the whole. The views are beautiful, especially the cliffs and the sea. The guide was also friendly and helpful to guide, as the trails are not easily understood. Walking was a bit difficult in some parts,,, especially in the sun. Swimming stop was good,,, but the time seemed a little short. Overall a good experience,,, but can be a bit challenging for those who are not used to walking much.
It was an amazing Experience with the very nice and professional guide (Claire). Claire brought nice food and made sure everyone was always safe and in good spirit. The parc itself is beautiful. The beach we went to on the trip was very very special. Marseille is really nice, but getting a way from the busy city like this made our holiday even better. We recommend this trip 100%.
It was one of the most beautiful hikes I did. The leader, Adrien, was very informative and helpful. You can easily reach the meetup point by bus.
Great hike. I’m an experienced hiker and I’d say this hike had some nice, low-level challenges. It was more than a walk in the park. Nice views, refreshing swim, and good guide (Alex)!
Amazing hike in Calanques. Our guide Adrien was fantastic. We hiked and walked to the water, had a delicious picnic, swam in gorgeous water and then hiked back to the meeting point. The sites are incredible. Our guide took pictures while explaining history and nature. He communicated the day before to prepare the group on what to bring and what to expect. This is an experience that requires some endurance as the return hike was steep. Adrien was considerate of the different levels of endurance in the group and adjusted the speed of walking and hiking accordingly. We had an amazing time. Thank you!
Great guided hike. Lucas was great, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Best guide! Took us all the way down to the beach for a quick swim and picnic. Is steep in some areas and about a 5.5 mile hike round trip, so wear good shoes and bring 1.5L of water at least. Great time, would recommend
Had a great time with our guide Eric, hike was challenging but worth it. Made it down to the most beautiful beach and had a lovely little picnic. I would definitely recommend this hike!
This is a hike that rewards you with great views and a chance to swim in the Mediterranean. But note that the trail is not a walk in the park with up-and-down terrain laid with slippery stones at parts. it is not for those with mobility challenges or lacking in physical fitness. My guide, Alex, was superb and readily helped when I stumbled.
Luciewas is a kind and informative guide. Beautiful picnic andwell paced.
Amazing view on this hike! Bring water shoes if you plan on swimming. Highly recommend this tour if you love nature.
While the hike itself was fantastic, travelers should beware that the event description is misleading. There is no private transportation to the Calanques, and the bus or Uber ride is fairly long. Our guide also provided snacks (mainly fruit and cheeses) but there was not a full lunch offered. However, our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The hike was a good workout (especially back up!) without being impossibly difficult.
It was an amazing experience! Got the chance to see the beautiful views of Calanques. Hike was medium, not too hard, and we also went for a little swim. We had some light snacks, which our super nice hike guide Lucas brought with him. Highly Recommend!
Alex was amazing guide! He made sure to let us enjoy the views and he taught us plenty about the parks. Highly reccomend
A great experience on a perfect day. A hike through this gorgeous park down to the Mediterranean. Spectacular views and a chance to swim and picnic.
Our trip and guide was awesome! Perfect amount of exercise, very scenic and our guide Jade was super knowledgeable, great in English, French and Spanish. Highly recommend!
Freddie was an excellent guide. He shared information about culture, plants, and the park where we hiked. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I would highly recommend this trip.
The calanque is very beautiful, definitely worth visiting. At first time, it’s best to hire a guide otherwise it would be a bit dangerous for beginners. Jeffery is very nice and well attended. :)
A hike for those confident in up & down hill walking with occasional rocky parts. Definitely take swimming gear-so worth it.
Had a lovely time- Jade was very personable and knowledgeable. Total distance 8.5km- and not too difficult. Great swimming location- could have stayed there all day!
I reserved my trip and showed up 20 minutes before the 9am departure time. Nobody was there. Stayed until 9:15am and nobody showed up.
Really enjoyed our hike with guide Alex. The views are amazing and the hike is not very challenging. Really enjoyed swimming too! Recommend for people with some fitness
Amazing hike, beautiful place! Alex was a great guide :) i advise swimming to the blue cave from the little beach we stop at
Adrian is awesome. The hike is beautiful. You need good sneakers or hiking shoes and hiking sticks if you use them.
The hike was 8 miles with much at an incline and rocky paths. It was totally worth it. The views and experience was great. Alex, our guide, was very patient, supportive and kind as I was challenged fitness-wise.
The entire experience was superb! We had magnificent views, refreshing waters, and a wonderful guide.
The Calanques hike was challenging, at times, but well worth the effort as the views were spectacular. Our guide, Ismael, was excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. Swimming at the beach is refreshing and majestic. The picnic was good. Highly recommend doing this!
LOVED it- tour guide was extremely kind, patient & knowledgeable!! I was traveling alone & did the challenging hike- u need footwear that has treads as rocks can be super slippery! There were 2 brave boys in my group -one as young as 7, so use your best judgement!! I recommend a hat, sunglasses & lots of water & sunscreen. It’s not a short trek. Trust me- I’m tough & fit - you want to enjoy this so choose the right path-enjoy!!
We had fantastic day hiking with our guide who is excellent in every way. I can only highly recommend this to you, but you do need to be reasonably fit. The beach we stopped off in for an hour and had some food supplied by the guy was absolutely breathtaking worth the hike on its own .
WOW! What a place!this natural area is magic .Freddy was a AMAZING guide, He information and presence is vital to the full experience!! As we walked he spoke of all the things that surrounded us, with his historical insight and passion for the natural flora and fauna and the environment, I felt we received the most while we were out there!!We had a swim in the ocean, and even explored a cave, later.as we Dried on rocks taking the Mediterranean sun ,as we listened to Freddie’s lore of the Calanques he l layed out a spread of snakes and we all had a small lunch, while he explained the marine biodiversity.thankyou for the moment I will never forget!what a guide!!!!MERCI!!! Thanks you Freddy , for everything!
I was expecting to hike above the calanques so I could photograph them from above. Instead our 4-hour hike ( not 5 ) allowed for a couple of photos of one calanque from above for a couple of minutes on the way back. Maybe I had the wrong expectations but mine were not met. Our guide was great but our hiking route was not.
Hike - not too long but definitely some uneven terrain - magical swimming spot and moderate swim to cave around the bend
Beautiful hike, very moderate for those with a basic level of fitness. The water was gorgeous, guides were super friendly and the group was terrific!
We really enjoyed the trek! Adrien was so nice and kept our pace well! It was a hot July day but it was well worth the hike. The water was perfectly clear too
Amazing time - Jade our guide was very kind, warm, welcoming and inclusive. The lunch was delicious too. The hike back up was challenging especially for me with a fear of heights but I felt supported and safe the whole time and it felt like a great achievement once finished. Would highly reccomend.
