This tour is fantastic, I highly recommend it. The tour of the Pope's Palace is wonderful and the countryside is beautiful. The drive up to the vineyards is splendid and the wine tours and tastings are very nice and informative. Our tour guide picked us up at the hotel and gave us details about the region the entire trip.

This was a great trip around Marseille! Our guide Matthieu was ver knowledgeable and took us to many great places in Marseille. The town has a ton of elevation to it and private transportation is a must. We definitely recommend when you are in Marseille!
Emil was the consulate professional in every sense. He touched base with us a day ahead of time and arrived at the pickup point 30 minutes early with a notification. That in itself was comforting. Our Van Gogh adventure was so, so special with several lifetime bucket list checks. The hospital, sanitarium, and Cafe (What's left) were really touching to actually be there and "see through the eyes of the master." Emil was so knowledgeable of the artist and communities. We had great strolls through Arles, Saint- Remy-de-Provence, Les Baux-de-Provence, and visited the still existing Langlois Bridge. Emil knew just where to take us. We even had a wonderful lunch and visit to the Roman ruins of Glanum and lunch. We had a wonderful French Country lunch per his recommendation that was as special as the day. We will see him again, what a day.
Emil was a lovely host!!! We had a very short stay in the Port of Marseilles and he helped us make the most of it. He even arranged a last minute cassis wine tasting for us! We couldn’t have asked for a better day in port!!!
Emil was a fantastic guide that has great knowledge of French wines & the best vineyards. He selected 2 outstanding places to visit with wine tastings. Additionally, he reserved a delightful restaurant overlooking the vineyards where we enjoyed a breathtaking lunch. Lastly, he made a special stop to see the Abby amid the lavender fields. We had the best time! Emil was our guide and took us to many beautiful lavender fields. A once in a lifetime experience! We enjoyed everything and we were comfortable in the van even though it was extremely hot outside.

We had the absolute best day in Provence off our cruise ship. First off booking was so easy. William our travel expert curated the perfect itinerary. Our driver and tour guide Mathieu picked us right up at the gate of our ship and walked us over to our private Mercedes. We did a tour of 2 Chataneuf Du Pape Wineries and had the most delicious lunch in the region. Mathieu also took us to a few scenic historic spots with some history he explained well to us and offered to take photos of my husband and I. He was a total gentleman and helped us with all our wine packages we purchased along our tour. He navigated our entire tour perfectly. We had the best day of our lives. Please if you are considering booking do not hesitate.

Our tour was designed by Viator using our vert specific desires for wine tasting and boy did they deliver. We picked 3 of the 10 best wineries named in the wine bible. My wine friends said it was a trip of a lifetime. Emil was professional but friendly and we enjoyed him as part of our group.
Wow such a great experience! Mathieu was very professional and customized our trip to our liking. We only had one day from a cruise ship so we wanted to see as much of Chateneuf-du-paup as possible and this was the best way to experience different tastings and to also see Avignon. This was a spectacular tour with an exceptional chauffeur/guide. We had an amazing driver, Stéphane, who picked us up at our house, gave us a mini tour of Aix-En-Provence, took us to 2 wineries and a stop for lunch in a beautiful village. I basically emailed Avantgarde, gave them an idea of what we wanted and they took care of the rest. It was one of the best days during our stay in Cassis. I will definitely recommend them!!!
