Hotel Renoir

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and it is nowhere near being a legitimate star-rated hotel. The entire place feels old, rundown, and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, basic cleanliness and housekeeping are completely ignored. Someone left a full breakfast tray right in the middle of a hallway near a fire exit, and it sat there untouched for the entire day. No staff member ever bothered to clear or clean it up, which sums up the complete lack of attention and professionalism here. Save your money and stay far away from this place!

I had an excellent experience during my stay, and I would particularly like to highlight Ladin at the reception desk, whose professionalism and outstanding level of service truly made a difference. When we encountered an issue with the air conditioning at around 9:00 PM, at a time when no technician was available to come to the hotel, Ladin handled the situation remarkably well. She remained calm, reassuring and solution-oriented throughout. Thanks to her responsiveness and resourcefulness, she managed to find a solution and get the air conditioning working again without requiring a technician to come on site. She kept us informed and reassured us throughout the entire situation, turning what could have been a very frustrating experience into a perfect example of excellent hospitality. Beyond this, Ladin was extremely attentive throughout our entire stay. Her knowledge of Cannes and the surrounding area is exceptional, and she recommended some of the best restaurants, places to visit and experiences in the area. Every recommendation was carefully tailored and reflected her genuine knowledge of the destination. Her professionalism, presentation, communication skills and attention to detail were impeccable at all times. She has a natural ability to make guests feel welcomed, reassured and genuinely looked after. Ladin is a true asset to the hotel and represents exactly the level of service one would expect from high-end hospitality. A special thank you to her for making our stay in Cannes even more enjoyable and memorable.

Hôtel Renoir is ideally located, offering convenient access to the main attractions while remaining easy to reach. The property is well-presented, and the rooms are thoughtfully designed, well-equipped, and comfortable, with pleasant views of the surrounding area. The bed was particularly comfortable, contributing to an enjoyable stay. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. Breakfast, while relatively simple, provided a sufficient variety of options to suit most guests. The hotel also offers excellent value for money, and we felt the quality of the accommodation and service fully justified the cost. Although there are a few minor areas where improvements could be made, our overall experience was highly positive and memorable. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

We had a great stay here at the hotel. The staff were friendly and professional. Room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was by far the best we experienced on our trip so far. The lobby has fresh water (still and sparkling) which we thought was a nice touch. The hotel is only a 5-7 minute walk to the train station and 7-10 minute walk to the beach and main area. There was a police station close by which made us feel safe walking at night but regardless the area seemed safe. The street is quiet and not much traffic at night. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family, great value for your money. Merci!
