Our week-long stay at Bastide Nomade was a very pleasant part of our Côte d’Azur trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease thanks to the warm hospitality of Laetitia and Christophe, who have created a truly special place. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, nestled in peaceful Mediterranean gardens with breathtaking panoramic views of the perched village of Saint-Paul de Vence. Every morning, I would wake up, open the curtains, and be greeted by the stunning sight of the medieval village bathed in the morning light right outside our window. That view alone made our stay unforgettable. Served on the beautiful terrace overlooking Saint-Paul de Vence, breakfast featured excellent coffee, fresh juices, charcuterie, local cheeses, delicious crêpes, fresh breads, buttery croissants, and other homemade treats. It was the perfect way to start each day. Our room was beautifully decorated in a refined style, blending natural materials, wood, and soft textures into a warm and relaxing atmosphere. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a large closet, a beautiful bathroom with a generous walk-in shower, and a charming private patio. We also appreciated the shared refrigerator available for the three guest rooms. The heated pool and surrounding gardens are equally beautiful, offering a peaceful place to unwind while enjoying one of the best views imaginable of Saint-Paul de Vence. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying breakfast on the terrace, the scenery never ceased to amaze us. The location is ideal—just a few minutes by car from the old village (or about a 20-minute walk - but we did not hike to town) yet tucked away in a tranquil green valley where you can truly disconnect while remaining close to everything the French Riviera has to offer. We also really appreciated Laetitia and Christophe’s thoughtful recommendations for restaurants, cafés, places to visit, and where to park. If you’re looking for a charming boutique bed and breakfast that combines exceptional hospitality, beautiful design, absolute tranquility, and unforgettable views, Bastide Nomade is a true hidden gem. We would return without hesitation.

Our travel agent booked this gorgeous B&B for our three-night stay in the French Riviera. We had the first floor terrace room with the view of St. Paul de Vence. The hosts speak limited English and we speak very limited French, so we got along alright. They gave us good ideas for exploration, AND directed us to a walking path (read: hiking path) up the hill to the ville. They're also very discreet, responsive but only engaging in conversation when you start it. An utter sense of peace descended upon us here. We slept with our terrace door cracked open and were lulled to sleep by the singing of the frogs. Lounging on our terrace or reading poolside felt like true relaxation - the light at sunset especially was gorgeous. The heated saltwater pool is incredible and the breakfasts are enormous!
Very kind owners, very clean and beautifully set up. The breakfast was so fresh and in a very picturesque setting
Beautiful residence in a secluded place near, and with a beautiful view of, St Paul de Vence. The rooms are spacious, very clean and very comfortable. We had reserved the ground floor room with terrace, a choice that proved lucky as it allowed us to enjoy a couple of al fresco dinners. The hosts are delightful and the breakfasts they serve are copious and varied. Attention to details is exquisite. The pool is heated and a nice perk at the end of an active day. The bastide is a little far away from St Paul de Vence on foot, although it's feasible if you enjoy a moderately strenuous walk. Parking is available but a little challenging as the house is located at the bottom of a steep hill and the driveway is a little tight.
Great B&B! Nice and clean rooms. Walking distance from the artistic city of St. Paul
