Star – Misleading photos and unbearable construction noise We travelled for 25 hours expecting the water views shown in the hotel’s photos, but instead our room faced a construction site. From morning until evening, we were subjected to constant banging and drilling, making it impossible to relax or enjoy our stay. We informed the hotel three times, yet received no meaningful response or assistance. http://Booking.com offered just €35 compensation, then effectively put the complaint in the “too-hard” basket. The advertising was misleading, the noise was unacceptable, and the lack of communication was extremely disappointing. Avoid this property until the construction is clearly disclosed and properly managed. Interestingly the review does not allow photos to show you.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Room is nice but… There was no bottled water available for purchase anywhere in the hotel. The parking payment system only accepted physical bank cards, which was very inconvenient. The restaurant didn’t offer takeaway, and the staff member we dealt with was extremely unfriendly. There was no daily housekeeping, so it felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel. Every time we entered the hotel, the reception staff asked for our room number as if we were trying to sneak in or steal something. The atmosphere outside didn’t feel very safe, and the way guests are treated only adds to that feeling. I would not recommend staying here unless you only need a place to sleep and don’t care about service or comfort.
We went to this hotel for a 4-day retreat and our experience was very pleasing. We were in the 10th floor and the view was amazing, the room overall was not stuffy and was clean at arrival, the spa and swimming pool were free ( they are not usually) and the location is both accessible and calm. We had a great time, would go back there again!
Genuinely stay away from this hotel. I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so ridiculous that it felt worth warning others about. On two consecutive days, I left the "Please Clean My Room" sign on my door. The first day I assumed housekeeping had simply missed it. The second day, when exactly the same thing happened, I went down to reception to ask why my room hadn't been cleaned. The response? "If you want your room cleaned, you have to pay €30." I was genuinely confused because I have never heard of a hotel charging guests extra to clean their room during their stay. I asked if that meant I would also have to pay for fresh towels and toilet paper. The receptionist told me that yes, fresh towels cost extra, but I could come down to reception and collect toilet paper myself. So apparently the solution is to walk through the hotel carrying two rolls of toilet paper back to your room. Not exactly the level of service you'd expect from a hotel. The list of extra charges doesn't stop there. Want to use the pool? That's €10 per hour. Honestly, I laughed when I heard that. To make matters worse, the blanket in my room had a pink lipstick stain on it. Since I don't wear pink lipstick, it's safe to say it wasn't mine. Not exactly reassuring when it comes to cleanliness standards. The hotel also doesn't make it particularly clear that various services come with additional charges, which seems to be a recurring theme here. Our shower leaked every single night, often in the middle of the night. I considered mentioning it, but by that point I was half expecting to be charged for reporting the issue. Overall, this was one of the strangest hotel experiences I've had. Between the lack of housekeeping, extra charges for basic amenities, stained bedding, leaking shower, and completely unhelpful reception staff, I genuinely cannot recommend staying here. There are far better places to stay in Marseille. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else.
Stayed here for a 6 nights and overall had a decent experience. It’s an apartment hotel located right in the city center of Marseille, with almost every amenity you can think of within walking distance restaurants, shops, transport, and attractions were all nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the air conditioning in the room was not working. I complained several times, but unfortunately nobody really bothered to check or fix the issue. Luckily, the weather outside was cool during my stay, so it was still manageable.
