Bob was our driver and tour guide. Born and raised on PEI. Best tour we have ever had. Besides being a great guy, Bob naturally knew the answer to ever question we asked. If you ever get to the Island, do yourself a favor and ask for Bob.

Our stop in Cavendish at the Green Gables historic site is a must see for the fan of Anne of Green Gables Fans.
This is a commercial harbour at work on the island. Fishing seasons include, lobster, mussels, oysters. If you want to stop for lunch, very close by to the harbour area, is a great local restaurant called Fin Folk Food. It is such a wonderful spot to get lunch, amazing dunes views and a casual spot to get a great lobster roll, or fish n' chips. Take it from me, I worked as a chef for years, and this place does have excellent seafood!
A great stop to see a working harbour on the North shore of Prince Edward Island. During lobster season, we will stop by and see the lobsters as they arrive from the North shore fishermen. There are also some great vistas to take some very memorable pictures.
A drive through Cavendish Beach National Park is a must while touring the island. There are amazing vistas, not only to take pictures of, but to experience the rawness of the North Atlantic Ocean. It is so beautiful. The red shores are exceptionally stunning!

Ross is a charming man with an amazing wealth of knowledge of, and love for, Prince Edward Island. He built a day around our needs and it was a great way to spend our port stop in PEI. It was our best day of our cruise! Don’t hesitate booking with him, you will be so glad you did.
I only have positive things to say about this tour and especially of Ross! Pick up was extremely smooth, the car was comfortable and luxurious, and Ross ensured that there were many small comforts, including bottled water, and some candy and snacks. He asked us what we were interested in doing and customized the itinerary to our preferences. He is such an interesting person with varied knowledge of the island. His stories were engaging, yet informative, and the tour and the time on the sped by quickly. One highlight was the Anne of Green Gables house, which is why we booked this tour. It is very interesting especially for those that have read the books. It was a beautiful stop and we were fortunate to have a gorgeous day in PEI.
Bob our tour guide is a native of PEI and gave us a very nice tour of the North Shore with all the background history. He took us to a wonderful shop with a beautiful huge flower garden we thoroughly enjoyed. We had lunch on the water and had the best muscles and lobster rolls of our entire trip. The last part of the trip was a drive though beautiful Victoria Park. What a beautiful place to live and so thankful we could visit It was a very nice tour of PEI and we would recommend.
this excursion was prompt, communicative, entertaining and informative. A lot packed into 4-5 hours and well worth it. Snacks and water were much appreciated. Ross had so much knowledge about the area and made sure we got to see what we wanted (and skip what we didn’t)! Highly recommend on your next trip to Prince Edward Island.
We took this tour during a cruise ship stop. Ross is very knowledgeable about PEI and the history of the island. we were interested in farming and fishing operations, and he gladly focused on these areas. A private tour is much more rewarding than anything the cruise ship offers. I recommend Ross and his company, hands-down.
We had the best day with Ross on our Tour of Prince Edward Island. The vehicle was great, lots of room and very comfortable. Ross had an amazing selection of water and snacks for the 4 of us. He took us to the best Chocolate Shop - Jane & Sue definitely not to be missed. We also went to a wonderful local coffee shop. We saw so many highlights on the Island and had lunch too which of course included, clams and lobster. I just can’t say enough wonderful things about Ross. We have taken many many private tours and Ross is at the very top of our list. We will definitely book him again, don’t keep searching just book with Ross. Thank you again Ross, you were amazing.
It is a private tour in a very nice large vehicle. Ross is very knowledgeable of the island and you get a good feel and tour of the whole area. Good meal and chocolate stop. Overall very good day.
Ross is a fantastic tour guide and safe driver. Over about five hours, he took us from the cruise terminal clockwise around the center of PEI, beginning by touring historic Charlottetown, stopping by the Confederation Bridge, hitting a great lunch spot in Stanley Bridge, walking the beach in Cavendish, and touring Rustico. Ross was great throughout sharing stories about PEI’s history, people, and industries. He also surprised us with light snacks and bottled water in his spotless vehicle. It was nice, too, being away from the hustle and bustle of our cruise ship’s coach tours. We often had sites to ourselves.
Five ladies over 60 thoroughly enjoyed this excursion around PEI. We could not have asked for more! The vehicle was comfortable, water and snacks were provided and we learned a lot about the area and had a great time. I tried my first ever oyster too!
Our tour guide was very professional and the suv was spotless. We had an amazing lunch! Overall a great experience!
When my husband & I booked a last min. cruise vacation to the east coast of Canada with no planned excursions, we thought we would "just wing it" at the ports (not always a good plan, but for this trip that is what we wanted to try out). One of our stops was in Charlottetown, PEI where we had the privilege of meeting Ross at the port. We hit it off with Ross right away and decided to hire him for our private tour of the area. He was very personable, listened to what we wanted to do and then was able to make it happen (vs having to follow a set tour experience). Ross was Absolutely Fantastic! His vehicle was spotless (both outside and in). Not only was Ross very engaging the entire day with commentary about Charlottetown's history, showing us historical buildings, telling us what life on the island etc was like, he made us feel like rock stars by catering to our needs. We told Ross that we wanted to see some of the historical buildings, some local shops, the red sand and cliffs by the beach, I wanted to try some oysters and mussels, as well as see the Confederation Bridge and where Terry Fox had been. (Yes, even Anne of Green Gables was a quick stop during our incredible tour). Ross provided a selection of various small snacks and drinks to enjoy during our time together, he even had individual hand towelettes to clean our hands with, and when we stopped at the beach, he provided proper beach towels, a little absorbent rug to stand on and powder to clean our feet from the sand. Ross has thought of everything! He also knew that we were trying to stick to a timeline/budget, and he was always mindful of that during the tour. He would let us know how much time had gone by, and what else we could see if we went this way or that and how much time that may add or subtract from the tour, thus letting us decide if we wanted to adjust our plans mid tour etc. We had lots of time in port, so getting back to the ship wasn't a concern, but even if it was, Ross would make sure to have you back to port with plenty of time so as not to miss getting back on the ship. If you're looking for that "Michelin Star" type service, look no further than Ross with SBR Transportation ... you won't be disappointed. Having our private tour with Ross in Charlottetown PEI was the highlight of our entire East Coast cruise and actually rates in our top 3 of all tours that we have done over the last couple years. Why? Because of everything he did and thought of. He made us feel like family and not just a tour. Book Ross if you can, he is worth every single hard earned penny. We were ever so fortunate that he had a last min. opening. You won't be disappointed by booking an excursion with Ross! Thank you Ross for an incredible day ... until next time <3 Julia & Todd
Our tour guide in PIE, Ross, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. While traveling in his very comfortable vehicle, we were able to see all the usual sights, and much more. I would highly recommend this tour.
Ross was excellent. He listened to where we wanted to go on the island. He knows the island very well, and gave us great and interesting information during our tour. We would highly recommend him.
Highlight of our family trip! We recently took a private tour of Prince Edward Island, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless and incredibly comfortable. Ross was exceptionally knowledgeable about the island’s rich history, culture, and hidden gems, offering insights we would have never discovered on our own. He tailored the trip to our interests, making every stop more meaningful and enjoyable. What made the trip more special was Ross’s friendly and welcoming demeanor. He made us feel like we were traveling with a long-time friend creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere throughout. Whether it was recommending the best local spots for food or sharing interesting stories about PEI, his passion for the island was evident. I would highly recommend Ross to anyone looking for a personalized and intimate experience of Prince Edward Island. It was the perfect blend of comfort, learning, and enjoyment!
The tour with our driver Ross. He was an excellent guide with lots of info. One of our people left an item in his vehicle and he came all the way back and gave it to us. A wonderful person.
It was an experience to try the fresh oysters. which I never eaten before. Delish with hot sauce.. we will refer him to our friends who love to travel.
Ross was fabulous! High quality trip! Personalized to our requests but enhanced by his recommendations. Definitely eat at fin folk! Friendly and professional. Vehicle was impeccable. Highly recommend!
Our driver Ross was fantastic and he gave us a truly memorable tour of the island making sure we visited all the spots that interested us. He was very knowledgable about the island and its history and was full of interesting anecdotes. The car was luxurious and there were plenty of drinks and candy for the journey. Even cold towels with eucalyptus and beach towels in case we wanted to paddle. From the moment I booked the tour, Ross kept in touch about arrangements for pick up etc., so everything was very smooth. A really wonderful tour that would be hard to beat.
Ross was just fantastic. Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Loved the conversation. The vehicle was very comfortable, and he ensured we had everything we needed, including baby powder for the beach.... you have to go on the tour to understand! We had 5 adults and had lots of space.
Totally Terrific Tour of Prince Edward Island! Our family tour of of Prince Edward Island with Ross was the highlight of our Canadian Maritime Provinces cruise! He was very experienced with all facets of island life and had interesting anecdotes for everyone in our group, ages 7, 40, 44, 71, and 72. As a chef he shared his great knowledge of aquaculture and agriculture in PEI and he took us to Tracadie Harbour where his family runs lobster and mussel fisheries. Our 7 year old loved seeing the lighthouse, sandstone cliffs, and Dalvay Hotel, all locations featured in her favorite TV show "Road to Avonlea". We then went to "Green Gables Heritage Place" to see the sights outlined in the ever popular books. Ross then stopped at an oyster farm to explain that process, then on to Jane and Sue Chocolate for rare & special hand crafted bonbons. Our cruise stop was shortened that day due to customs, so Ross called in Lobster Rolls to go for a fantastic late lunch in his brand new immaculate Suburban on our way back to port! He is well outfitted with bottled water, snacks, beach towels, and more! Our entire family wholeheartedly recommends this tour of Prince Edward Island.
We were on a cruise and booked a tour of Prince Edward Island. Ross was our driver and we could not be more pleased with our experience! He sent text messages before our meeting making it crystal clear where to meet, he is extremely knowledgeable of the island, engaged in conversation with us and had perfect recommendations that was focused on our interests. He was so pleasant and made our trip to the island a wonderful adventure! We highly recommend using Ross as a driver and tour guide!!
Ross and his team were amazing! They were very accommodating, informative, and the tour was very comfortable all around. They even provided snacks, refreshments, and the opportunity for freshly shucked oysters! 10/10 experience overall - highly recommend.
We had the best tour with Ross! It was the highlight of our Canada cruise. He was very responsive beforehand and was flexible about our few hour delay due to the ship being late to dock. He knows a lot about the island and shared lots of interesting facts with us. We did all of the Anne of GG things and also stopped at the beach and national park. He also took us to a great oyster spot and taught us about oyster and mussel farming in the area. The car was immaculate and all of the details are taken care of for you (water, snacks, beach towels, etc). We felt like rock stars in the vehicle. Totally recommend this tour for a PEI experience!
Our family had limited time to see PEI. This tour was an excellent way to see the entire island. I highly recommend Ross as a tour guide. Ross was informative, hospitable, and overall made it a relaxing day full of adventure. Our children were given snacks, drinks, and phone chargers. He clearly understands teenagers travel needs. We had a great day and I would definitely give him a perfect review.
