The operator canceled and refunded our money about 3 days early due to inclement weather. Thank God they did.

Itinerary
Great George St. is known for the evolution of architecture displayed here with its beautifully preserved Georgian architecture on one side of the street and Gothic Revival architecture on the other side. While on this street, you will pass by the Bishops Palace and the Basilica Cathedral which is considered to be the defining silhouette of Charlottetown.
Continuing onward, guests will stroll around outside on the grounds of Province House - also known as the birthplace of Confederation before heading over to Victoria Row.
This area is well known for its daily live entertainment, local artists, artisan shops, cafes and farm-to-table restaurants.
Guests will continue onward to view the Confederation Centre of the Arts where the world famous Anne of Green Gables play has been running for over 50 years!
The government buildings are a stunning example of brutalist architecture. Here you will visit the Beaconsfield Historic House and the Government House of Prince Edward Island - which today serves as the home of the Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island.
After this, the tour will start to head back toward the starting point by following the Victoria Boardwalk. Along the way guests will pass by the Culinary Institute of Canada, the Queen Charlotte Armoury, the PEI Convention Centre arriving back at Peakes Quay and Confederation Landing for the end of your tour.

Our tour guide, George, showed us many interesting things in Charlottetown. We enjoyed his attention to detail without being boring.
George led me on a private walking tour of Charlottetown for a couple hours. He provided history and info about the area in a way that made it interesting and not feel like he was just reciting memorized facts. The pace was relaxed, and we even had a chance to stop for some ice cream cones. I highly recommend booking with George if it's your first visit to this area and want to cover a good area within a limited amount of time.
Charlottetown is an historical and quaint city. It has a nice historic area and waterfront shops. We would recommend seeing all the sites, including getting lobster roll and ice cream while you’re there. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed our time with him.
We saw all the main sites in Charlottetown. The fact is, the main sites are not all that exciting. The guide did a good job of explaining what we saw.
The tour was just over an hour instead of the 2 hours stated on the booking. Though the tour guide was knowledgeable about the history about the city of Charlottetown however he was on his phone frequently throughout the tour.
Tour guide was very informative. There is a lot of local history that I have learned about PEI . DL USA
Our Best of PEI tour with See Sight Tours was everything we could have hoped for. Holly was a terrific guide! She was knowledgeable and personable, giving us some inside information about the island. Holly was also an excellent driver. She even got out of the car and took some pictures for me so I didn’t have to get out. Great pictures I might add! She made sure we got to see and do the things we especially wanted to see and do, not just make us stick to a specific schedule. The tour and Holly were both great! I highly recommend!
Great experience. Knowledge tour guide, polite, and friendly.
Unfortunately, this was not as advertised. The guide, although nice and polite, was a recent college grad, not from PEI and not a history professor or a comedian. He knew little about Charlottetown and PEI. I knew more history than he did from my first two days just reading history markers. We still were able to enjoy the tour and it was a nice walk around the city. The emailed instructions for the meeting place were for Niagara Falls, NY, which caused us some confusion.
Travis was a great guide - very knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. Had great tips for things to do and places to eat.
Walking through Charlottetown was a wonderful experience. I did enjoy it- it would be hard not to as it was a gorgeous day and Charlottetown is beautiful- but our guide, while a lovely person, did not seem as knowledgeable as I would expect and I often had trouble hearing her. (I am not deaf.) The cost of this walking tour was twice that of others and I certainly could not see the benefit in this at all.
Great way to learn about Charlottetown. Tour guide was quite informative. Enjoyed the walk around the town!
We learned so much about this beautiful and historic place. Our guide could not have been any better, he was knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Extra bonus was that he has a role in a local community theater production that we are lucky enough to see while we’re here. Thoroughly enjoyed the adventure!
Walked group at a VERY rapid pace. Unable to hear guide most of the time. Unable to see much since much time was looking at broken roads and sidewalks to prevent falling since walking at rapid pace. This was by far one of the poorest excursions ever!
We were paired with Annalise who was very new to this role (like, we were her first group ever). She was a lovely and cheerful young lady but lacked the knowledge and training necessary for this role.
Excellent link up spot easy to find and things to do in vicinity My guide was easy to spot and Joe had a wonderful knowledge of the the town architecture The two trainee guides were wonderful and we enjoyed looking for Eckhardt along the way Finished off at Cows for a delicious waffle cone
Very pleased with this walking tour. Easy to find meeting place and only 4 of us on the tour so felt very personal. San was very knowledgeable and spoke very well. Good pace and saw a lot in 2 hours. Great recommendation for a lobster roll too. Thanks.
Our tour guide, Grayson, was pleasant and informed. It was a great way to learn the history of Charlottetown.
Our tour guide has a deep rich history in PEI, with awesome stories of Charlottetown!!! I learned alot and had so much to share with my family in British Columbia and Washington State.
Amazing tour and our guide was great. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question with insight. Rob was incredibly friendly and tour wa fun thank you
The tour was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable about PEI history and pointed out great retail, restaurants and entertainment venues to check out during our visit. Highly recommend this tour.
I’ve no idea why this tour is so much more expensive than other equivalent walking tours. It is advertised as being “with Province House” but all we did was stand across the street from the building and look at the scaffolding that encases it. The quality of the tour is highly dependent on how knowledgeable your guide is and this cannot be guaranteed with this company. We visited a number of shops. You don’t need a tour guide to do this. I don’t recommend.
If you get Joe for your Walking Tour, you win the lottery. He communicates his love and vast knowledge of Prince Edward Island in a delightful walk around Charlottetown. History, art and culture are all facets of Joe’s comprehensive understanding of his beloved island. Ask him about the ties between Anne of Green Gables and Japan; the story will move you.
We had a wonderful tour, our guide, Kevin was very knowledgeable and ethiasic about his hometown. Would recommend to anyone.
Great orientation to the city. Our guide provided cultural and historical information, useful restaurant ideas, and humorous references to boot.
Excellent tour with Graysen! We went to places outside of the downtown port area to see the Beaconsfield House area, the public library, a theater, The Bookman bookstore and Victoria Row. Graysen was knowledgeable and very personable. It was truly an enjoyable morning and I highly recommend this tour! You will learn a lot about PEI.
We had a great time. Grayson was a wonderful tour guide. The tour was very informative and went at a nice pace. I would definitely recommend this tour.
That the guide didn’t turn up - we wasted 1hour waiting but there was a no show. Got a msg later asking if we would join the later tour but this didn’t suit as by that time we had made other plans.
We had a walking tour with Sam who was excellent. Just the five of us in our party. We did see a lot and it lasted a good two hours.
Enjoyed the tour. Guide was knowledgeable and engaging. There were several competing groups in town and we managed to navigate around them. Good value.
Good introductory tour of Charlotte town- really enjoyed it. Our guide was well spoken and very knowledgeable.
I was the only one in the tour and the guide went over and above in showing me Charolettetown. Highly recommend this tour to learn about its beginnings to this day and age.
Brilliant trip hearing about this stunning town. It was a most interesting time walking around this vibrant place. To be recommended
Guide didn't really know very much about Charlottetown at all. She was from Toronto and was shipped in to cover, so it probably wasn't entirely her fault However, the tour basically finished after an hour at the park and then those that wanted to stay a the park left the tour and the rest of us just followed back to the starting point. This was the first of two tours on our cruise with this company (Trip Shepherd) - the second was terrible too. Could have learned more from Google!
Tried to get this tour moved as the time frame was too late to return to our ship. A refund would be appreciated.
Tatiana was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining! We truly enjoyed our tour learning about the rich history of the area. We highly recommend this tour.
We loved Charlottetown and can't wait to visit again, but this tour was not a good use of our time. Our guide had a wonderful personality, but she was a "substitute" from another province and knew far less about the city than we did even though it was only our 3rd day there. Everything she told us we had already read from the plaques and signs that were posted and she was not able to answer even our most basic questions. I'm sure she would be an excellent guide in a city she is familiar with. We felt that the tour should have been cancelled or not offered to begin with if a properly prepared guide was not available.
Our guide brought Charlotte town to life for us, giving us the opportunity to understand and identify the different types of architecture in the area, and the history that goes along with it. Everything about this area was so special and touched our hearts …thanks to our guide Shallow town was an experience we will always remember.
Tatiana was wonderful! Very knowledgeable! She was very caring and careful with the two elderly women I brought with me, one of whom was in a wheelchair. We enjoyed it very much
Really enjoyed the tour! Learned a lot about the history of the area as well as the country, and discovered some local gems, like The Bookman, and local craft beer pubs. Guide was super knowledgeable.
Joe was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, personable, interesting. So glad we started our visit to Charlottetown with this introduction to the place, people, history, architecture, culture. Really enjoyed it.
Great Walking Tour with Great Guide. We were 12 people and had a good tour of Charlottetown, seeing many historic buildings and churches. The commentary was good, and easy to hear.
Tatiana was our guide, and we were so impressed with her preparation and knowledge. For someone who has been in Canada only 2 years, she clearly is well prepared, and very engaging. She combined just the right amount of history with local tips and folklore. Reasonable amount of walking, well paced. You won't regret doing this tour!
Great tour of beautiful spots in Charlottetown. Guide was a local and very knowledgeable and interesting.
We really enjoyed the tour. John was friendly and informative. He took in the interests of the participants and added information to relate to them. We really liked learning more about the history of Charlottetown and PEI by walking through the historic part of the city.
Great way to learn some insight into history of Charlottetown. Tour guide was great and knowledgeable.
Tatiana was a wonderful guide. She was very knowledgeable, and it was great to hear and learn about PEI from her. We enjoyed visiting the Basilica the most.
I’m in a wheelchair, so getting to the inside of Saint Dunstan’s Basilica was a High Point for me. I don’t have anything more to say.
Olena was just lovely. She led four seniors around the city with grace and patience. She is knowledgeable and so friendly. We had our dog with us and Olena was friendly toward her, too. We had a fabulous time. This was our first time to PEI and we will definitely return.
