This place was exceptional. The rooms and decor were beautiful. Gordon was so accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The breakfast was excellent with fresh made food. Walking distance to town. Would highly recommend. I stayed in the 2 bedroom on the 4th floor totally loved it!

We stayed two nights in one of the 2-bedroom suites. We didn't need two bedrooms but wanted use of a washer/dryer in the middle of a 17-day trip. The suite was lovely. Quiet and clean. We could see the cruise ships docking from our window. The hotel location was convenient for all of our activities in Charlottetown. Easy free parking. Great breakfast included. If the weather had cooperated I'm sure we would have enjoyed the outdoor seating area. The one thing we missed having was an onsite gym.
We stayed here for 4 nights during our PEI trip. Our room was super clean and spacious, and the front desk staff were always super helpful and kind. You can walk to downtown Charlottetown in 5-10 minutes so we never had to worry about driving or finding parking. Would highly recommend staying here!
I couldn’t have picked a better place for my first trip to PEI. The Sydney Boutique Inn & Suites is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly located near the waterfront. It had everything I needed for a seamless stay: a pristine, clean room, plenty of parking, on-site electric charging, and—my personal favorite—a laundry room right in our suite. Plus, the breakfast was a fantastic way to start our mornings! I’m so grateful I chose this hotel; it made the trip feel effortless. Highly recommend for anyone heading to Charlottetown!!
We spent three nights at the Sydney in late May. It is a beautiful old building only a few blocks from the water as well as many of the restaurants downtown. Our room was quite large/spacious with a nice sitting area and nice furnishings and the king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was enormous including an enormous shower but the space was not very well utilized. Almost certainly the bath was designed to be wheelchair accessible, however even so, despite the size of the bath, there was only a single small sink without any undersink storage, and there were few places to store things or hang towels. We ate the complementary breakfast one of our three mornings. Overall there was plenty of food and the two people manning the space were very attentive keeping the food trays stocked, and the tables bussed, however the room is in the basement without any windows, and thus not particularly pleasant to sit in.
