We had a pleasant stay at Village de Pecheur on Praslin. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere, the staff were always polite and helpful, and the food was very tasty. Being so close to the ocean made the stay even more enjoyable. The interior is a bit old, and we had some issues with the shower and air conditioning. However, the staff reacted quickly and fixed everything without any problems. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality of the team.
You know when you look back and think “this was the best place I could have stayed at”? That’s how I felt like when laying on the beach in front of the hotel. The staff is exceptional and super friendly, the rooms are spacious and cosy, as well as clean and well kept. The mattress is super comfy. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the location is just WOW. The hotel sits on the best beach you could stay at in Praslin, waking up to the sound of the waves crashing on the shores was nourishing to say the least. They arranged everything for me such as the day visit to Curieuse to see the giant tortoises, snorkelling and more. 5 stars cause I could not give them more.
Village Du Pecheur exceeded all of our expectations. The location on Côte d’Or beach is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and one of the best beachfront settings in Praslin. The rooms were comfortable, charming, and perfectly fit the relaxed island atmosphere. What truly made this place special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Nurhayati, who truly went out of the way to treat us like family. The kindness and hospitality made our stay unforgettable and guaranteed that we will most likely be back next year.
