Acajou Beach Resort

The hotel looks nice, rooms are cosy. However the food (lunch at the pool bar and breakfast) is really mediocre and way too overpriced. Do not order a salad! It’s expensive and more like a small and really basic side dish. A no go. The music is terrible. Nothing local, Af the pool but also at the restaurant. Furthermore they offer happy hour. We thought this was quite nice so ordered with the same waiter two days in a row our drinks. For the first order we got our discount. The second not. When asked at the reception while checking out, the answer was that the second order was placed at de restaurant next to the pool and not at the bar above the pool (same waiter remember). The receptionist added also that we should have known because this was told to us while checking in and there is also a sign apparently nearby the pool. Basically, it was our own fault. So far for the friendly customer service. An apology for the misunderstanding would have been a more suitable reaction to clients by mister the receptionist. Very very very disappointing.

Amazing stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful with great attention to detail, and the pool, beach access, and restaurants were all top-notch. The only minor downside was the Wi-Fi, which was spotty and didn't reach the pool and beach area, but overall it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Acajou Beach Resort and cannot recommend it highly enough. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The entire team was incredible, so warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made us feel at home throughout our stay. The resort itself is stunning. The renovated rooms are beautiful, modern, and very comfortable. The garden is gorgeous, the pool area is beautiful, and the whole property has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A special mention goes to the restaurant team, who were absolutely wonderful. They were so kind, patient, and welcoming every single day. We were traveling with our little one, who occasionally treated mealtimes as an opportunity to redecorate the floor with food, and the team always handled it with a smile and good humor. Their warmth and understanding made a real difference and allowed us to fully enjoy our holiday. The real highlight is the beach. It is absolutely beautiful and honestly one of the most beautiful beaches we saw in Seychelles. We were speechless when we first saw it. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We loved every minute of it and hope to come back one day.

We recently spent four nights at Acajou Beach Resort, and it was a truly memorable experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel incredibly welcome. There’s a genuine warmth and friendliness among the staff that creates a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere throughout the resort. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and that made a big difference to our stay. The setting itself is beautiful — right on a stunning stretch of beach — and the resort strikes a lovely balance between being well-maintained and still feeling authentic and unpretentious. It never felt overly commercial, which we really appreciated. Our room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, giving us a perfect place to unwind after each day. We also really enjoyed the food during our stay — consistently fresh, varied, and well presented. A special mention must go to the F&B team, who truly elevated our experience. Bruno, Jay, Nawan, Bettina, and Suresh were all exceptional — attentive, warm, and always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. Their service felt personal and genuine, and they consistently went the extra mile to ensure we were well looked after. The kitchen team also deserves recognition — not only for the quality of the food, but for their friendliness and visible pride in what they do. What stood out most, though, was the overall feeling of ease. It’s the kind of place where you can properly switch off and enjoy quality time, which is exactly what we were looking for. Thank you to the entire team at Acajou for making our stay so special. We would happily return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.
