Wine Tasting And Walking Tour Of Prague

Nice mixture of touring Old Town Prague’s hidden gems with a fantastic wine tasting at an off-the-beaten-path vinoteca. Our tour guide, Emma, was soooo fun!

Lovely and fun tour guide and a good mix of walking, sightseeing and learning and tasting czech wines. We learned nice details about prague we did not know before. The wine was great.

Emma was awesome! Loved the walking tour. She pointed out so many things we missed just wandering around. Especially the art of David Cerny spread throughout the area. Emma was enthusiastic, informed and very easy to talk with. The wine tasting was three generous pours of Czech wine - quite good. And she gave background regarding wine production. Really fun late afternoon outing with a great guide. Would recommend!!!!

I had the best time with Emma as my tour guide. She is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable— and she speaks English impeccably. She told me many interesting things about the art and the neighborhoods and we ended up in a cute little wine bar for more interesting conversation. I highly recommend taking this tour with Emma.

What a great evening with our guide Emma! My husband I was lucky to have met her and spent 2 1/2 hours seeing such incredible hidden treasures, beautiful art and tasting some great Czechia wine! The sights, wine and conversation was such a highlight we won’t forget, and created a wonderful memory for us. I could hang out with Emma every night! She is fantastic! Highly recommend this tour and company to use during your time in Prague.

We enjoyed the wine tasting and walking tour. Prague is a beautiful city with so much history. Marit is a really good guide, and very knowledgeable. The wine tasting at the end of the tour with snacks was most welcome, thank you!

Short walking tour of the Old Town - just a few historical highlights and some interesting info - not in depth. Then wine tasting - 3 or 4 full glasses of wine - more of a social drink than tasting - don’t expect huge discussion on technical wine details just some interesting info about Czech wines. This was perfect for us. Our guide Margit was fantastic - clear, concise and knowledgeable - just the right amount of info. She was great fun and a good companion at the wine bar.

Marit was so knowledgeable about Prague and incredibly engaging , and the walking tour gave you a sense of where you were and showed you all the best places. Of course the wine tasting was our favourite part , we had huge glasses with a plate of meat and cheeses. You can also buy bottles of their wine which worked out at under £6 each ! Overall the most amazing experience and Marit you are a star ! Special shout-out to Jessica from Arizona who joined our group for the tour and made the experience even more special.

This was a phenomenal tour. Our guide, Merit, was excellent! We learned a lot about the history of Prague and saw some of the best highlights, and then had some excellent wines accompanied by some snacks. The wines were also phenomenal. I was traveling solo and got paired w another group of four girls, and so the small group of us girls was so much fun! Highly recommend!

We cannot rate Dennis highly enough. He was knowledgeable, personable and overall a fantastic guide. This tour is absolutely worth doing and great value for money. The wine that we had was nice, we learnt a lot about the city and Czech wine

Rhianna was an amazing tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about the history of Prague. The wine tasting was the icing on the cake! This is a must do tour.

Had a lovely walk around town with Rihanna (spelling??) and two other solo travelers. Enjoyed sitting around and chatting at the wine bar while we sipped and snacked on a cheese plate.

Emma! Was absolutely charming, informative and so much fun. I would recommend this in a heart beat. Funny, interesting and such a good host and guide. Made all involved part of a group and made our holiday in Prague. Amazing!!!!!!

Emma was an amazing guide, she showed us parts of Prague we didn't knew yet. She was really good informed and knew alot of the city history. Very good Experience. Michal was an outstanding guide. He was entertaining and informative, extremely well versed in the history of wine in the region as well as the modern wine industry. We learned a lot! And the wines we tasted were amazing. By the end of the tour we had a great understanding of Czech wines. Wish we could have shipped a case home!

Rose was a delight! She was very informative and enthusiastic during the walking tour and was very knowledgeable about the wines we sampled. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her on this tour.

Took this Tour today and would highly recommend! Our tour guide was Emma and she was fantastic! I had not been feeling very well earlier today (digestive/travel issues— not illness) and right before the tour was scheduled to begin, I reached out to the company to ask them if it was possible to meet up with the group for the wine tasting portion only… They were super accommodating, gave my number to Emma (the tour guide), who promptly texted me to coordinate a solution for me to meet up with the group a little bit later. It could not have been easier! I’m really thankful they helped me make it work. Once I arrived at the wine tasting portion, Emma was super informative, answering questions I had about Prague (since I missed the walking portion) which I really appreciated! Thank you Emma for a great tour. Highly recommend this experience!

The tour by the guide was excellent before the wine tasting. His knowledge of the attractions and artwork was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting. I didn't realise the Czech Republic made such great wines. The nibbles were a bonus too. Highly recommended.

Thank you to George for an amazing evening. I really enjoyed this George showed us parts of Prague we wouldn't have found on our own his friendly delivery and knowledge made it for us. The wine tasting was lovely the whole thing was great 100% recommend this 👌

Emma was very entertaining and provided great information about Prague and some of the areas we walked. For a wine tasting/tour it would have been wonderful to stop in different wine bars to learn more about the various wine. The walking tour part was a long walk to get to the wine bar. But, that said, Emma did a wonderful job keeping everyone engaged and was a fantastic guide.

We had such a fun time with Rose! We had already done a walking tour earlier in the day but rose showed us a hunch of new sites and knew so much about every place we saw. She took us to an amazing wine bar where we tried local Czech wines, and they were all very nice. She was personable and nice, and we would 100% recommend her to everyone!

Roos was AMAZING tour guide! Went with another friend and we both left the tour with so much information about Czech wine

The first 45 min is just walking around the city, where you hear some facts about some statutes. Afterwards, you come to a wine bar (very cosy) where you will taste 3 different wines ( good wines) The tour person did not tell us much about the wine, so there was not so much wine tasting experience about that. We were just sitting and talking about everything else. So even though the place and wine was good, we were expecting a bit more for that price. In conclusion you could do the wine tasting by your self and have the same experience just 3 times cheaper. The tour person was super friendly

The wine tasting started with a tour and it was really good! Our guide pointed out details around the city that we wouldn't have noticed otherwise and she shared a lot of quirky knowledge. The place for the actual wine tasting was not the fanciest bar we've been to but it was very cosy! And one of the other guests was a musician and played the guitarr and sang a few songs with was probably the hightlight of our whole weekend there. The wine was okay but the focus is not so much on the wine but rather having fun and drinking. There was also a little plate of nibbles to go with the wine which was nice. The bar was a cash only place so be sure to bring cash if you want to stay at the bar and order more or just want to buy one of the wines you tasted.

We were just two persons so experirence was very customised. Snacks was not as good than expected and winetasting bar was truly autentic.

The guide was friendly and there was plenty of wine. However there wasn’t much information given and we didn’t see very much… we never saw the old town square at all. There was only cheese at the food tasting and no information on any of the wines.

Emma from Mijn Praag Tours was an excellent, very knowledgable guide! She showed us the places in Prague that not many people know about and had lots of fun facts to share with us. We would absolutely recommend going on this tour! Emma took us to a very nice wine bar after our city tour and the wines were delicious.

We embarked on a wine tasting tour guided by Roos, and it was a wonderful blend of strolling and savoring fine wines. Our journey began with a captivating walk through the heart of Prague, uncovering its hidden treasures. Eventually, we indulged in the finest white and red wines from the Czech Republic. Roos proved to be an enthusiastic guide, possessing extensive knowledge about both the city and its wines. I highly recommend this experience.

Very informative hour-long walking tour of a few special finds in Prague, with enthusiastic and friendly host Rose. Ended in a tiny hidden wine bar where we got very generous tastes of three different Czech wines, each one delicious and interesting. Educational, fun, and tasty — highly recommend.

Fantastic trip. Emma took on the challenge of a solo tour after our other guests dropped out. She didn’t miss a beat. Positive, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable, she gave me a wonderful tour of Prague, hitting up many easy to overlook sights. Her wine selections were excellent. I am not a civilized man (I care barely write) and know little about wine, but she knocked it out of the park. Emma is a gem, I hope she is your guide.

We where a hen party of 8 women and it was a very pleasant tour. The tour guide was very friendly and chatty, she pointed out thing to us in a small part of the city that we had not noticed before and gave us an informative talk about each one. We then arrived at a very lovely wine bar where we all drank very tasty wine and talked to the other guests on the tour ( there was 4 on top of our group) . It was also very lovely that the tour guide joined in with us.

Had a great time with the guide Rose and her trainee Absenthia . Lots fun tasted some great wines learned about white wines more.

Emma, our tour guide was definitely the best part! Her perspective made everything better! Her sense of humor and way of presenting the information was so engaging and just a lot of fun.

During the walk around Prague Emma (best tour guide ever btw) pointed out a lot of little details you would otherwise miss walking around by yourself. The wine tasting was really nice and with the great company we stayed way longer than actually planned for, ate dinner together and drank a "couple" of more bottles if wine.

The wine tour was excellent. The guide Emma is very knowledgeable. Our goup had a great time, and stayed together beyond the designated time. The guide and company was great. Highly recommended

I had a walk with Emma. She was great paying big attention to details. We had the best Prague tour ever. We had so much fun, we even stayed for dinner.

Wandering around a snowy Prague, looking at ancient buildings and public sculptures is breathtakingly beautiful. Lois was a charming an informative guide telling us interesting facts about the modern and ancient history of Prague. Then to a cozy little wine bar away from the cold to taste Czech wine and sample their cheese. It was a lovely and slightly different way to learn about and sample the wears of Prague. Thanks Lois.

Emma is a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and lots of fun! Emma took us to interesting sights most tourists never see. Loved the wine bar and her wine selections!

This is a positive review however, this is not a wine tasting experience. We feel this should be called 'A Walking Tour of the Art in Prague' then includes free wine at the end. We were greeted by a lovely lady who took us on an interesting walk. We saw fascinating sculptures which we would have missed on our own, Mozarts house and a beautiful church. She gave us lots of facts about Prague and we had a glimpse of the new town (we were primarily staying in the old town). It was like having a walk with a friend which we loved. She was lovely, welcoming and informative. We then took to a wine bar but it was very much, we had three glasses of wine but it was just having a drink in a bar. For wine tasting, I was expecting some facts about the wines, bottles to view etc. But all wines were on tap and we were talking more about the history of Prague. Lovely walk, learned a lot, we had fu and it was worth the money, but not a wine tasting experience.

The guide (Emma) was wonderful and made the tour. Picking out interesting sights that would have otherwise been overlooked.
