Peter provided us with a well thought out and very comprehensive tour of Terezin and the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. His depth of knowledge on the areas we toured was extensive and his sense of humor and conversational skills enriched the experience. The mood was somber as we toured Terezin and we learned much about the Czech people at that time in history. Peter took us to a charming cafe that served amazing coffee and pastries. Our walk to see the sandstone formations was exhilarating and fun. Our dinner afterwards was relaxing and delicious. The quality of the food was superb and some of the best we have experienced in our European travels. We concluded the tour with a sunset walk at Bastei and were treated to a beautiful sunset and moon rise. It was a perfect day and Peter went above and beyond our expectations to provide a unique and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this small group tour with Peter.

Peter from Bohemian Tours was a fantastic guide, arrived to pick us up at our hotel, when scheduled. The vehicle was comfortable, he provided excellent commentary and has an amazing amount of knowledge of Czech and ((Sudetenland) history. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague.

Petr was an exceptional guide with an abundance of detailed knowledge. We throughly enjoyed a powerful visit to the concentration camp in the morning, a delicious dessert and beverage stop, walk through Bohemian Switzerland’s Narnia, a large gourmet lunch with drinks, and breathtaking views of Bastei Bridge and park. It was a long day, but Petr had such vast knowledge and a fun spirit that our kids in college and high school enjoyed the day just as much as my husband and I did. Heed his advice to wear sneakers or appropriate shoes. He was very accommodating of our needs including food allergies, picture stops, questions, and tour timing. He was a safe driver with a comfortable and clean van.

Pete picked us up at our hotel door early that morning and took us on amazing journey through some beautiful parts of Czechoslovakia and Germany. The ride was very comfortable. The food was amazing! Pete has a wealth of knowledge of history and is able to share many stories about this area. My daughter and I had a wonderful day and we learned so much. At the end of the day, he dropped us off back at our hotel. It was worth every penny!

Terezin was somber and educational, and the two hikes weren't challenging or taxing and absolutely gorgeous. Amazing experience! The tour was very well organized, and our guide was kind, patient, and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the day. Terezín was a very emotional place to visit, and Bohemian Switzerland was even more beautiful than I expected. The views were incredible, and the whole day felt well balanced. I also enjoyed the lunch stop and the small details that made the trip comfortable. Definitely worth it if you’re visiting Prague. Highly recommended!

You have to do this day tour! Pete was amazing and picked us up right on schedule. We didn’t feel rushed for any portion of the trip and Pete was very knowledgeable about all of the areas we went to visit. It is really helpful having a local guide. The coffee and cakes shop was AMAZING and you will have many options to choose from. The lunch was also wonderful with the option of traditional food. The marina filling site was gorgeous and not hard of a hike at all and you have to see the bridge - it is so beautiful in person. Thank you , Pete!

Petr gave us a memorable experience on this tour. We started with an informative tour of the Terazin concentration camp and its dark history. We then switched gears and explored the beautiful sandstone formations that served as a backdrop in the Chronicles of Narnia. We then stopped for an amazing traditional Czech meal in Tisa-Ostrov before crossing the border for more sandstone formations and the Bastei bridge. Overall excellent tour for anyone who loves WW1/WW2 history along with seeing the beautiful nature of Bohemia. Petr has his history down and is very engaging. You’re also guaranteed to get your 10,000 steps in😉. Highly recommend!

Beautiful scenery! Loved the sandstone cliff area. Bastei bridge was simply gorgeous! Nice to leave Prague and see the countryside. Petr was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The lunch was wonderful- really enjoyed the restaurant.

Pete was a great guide and shared a lot of the history and fun facts about Czech. Each location was easy to get to, and he was very accommodating when traveling with my 78 year old mother. Terezin is a must see stop when wanting to learn more about WWII history, and the cafe had delicious cakes. Narnia and Bastei are very beautiful, me preferring Bastei. The lunch was in a beautiful mountain town and the service was exceptional. This was a very easy and fun day, with everything done for you by Pete. You can't beat it!

All inclusive, small group (7 people max) with a friendly and local guide. He'll pick you up anywhere in Prague and everything is included, a delicious coffee+cake breakfast, a gourmet lunch, even bathroom fees! A super friendly, fun and informative guide, Pietr made the day memorable from start to finish. Tezarin is a humbling but important stop, and Pietr will share with you little known facts and details, including a stop often missed by tourists to see rare film footage, artwork and music made by residents of the ghetto during the war. The afternoon stops are beautiful natural locations in the Saxon Switzerland National Forest, geology you wouldn't even believe is in this part of the world! The small group made it so we could move around quickly with minimal logistical overhead. You really don't want to miss this amazing opportunity to see the countryside and get out of the city. If you only have 1 day to venture out, this is the tour to take!

Peter has designed a fantastic tour! The van was very comfortable and quiet, and he he made sure we knew what to expect. The Terezin Camp and Jewish Ghetto tour was such an eye-opener. Peter is very knowledgeable, and communicates extremely well. My 86 year old mother-in-law went with me, and he was very respectful and mindful of her which was greatly appreciated. Fantastic lunch location! Bohemian Switzerland is a must-see if you enjoy the outdoors. Thanks for making our tour so wonderful.

This tour was an incredible value, it included pickup and drop-off, admission, meals, and snacks. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was our tour guide, Peter. He was a fountain of knowledge while remaining upbeat, engaging, and personable throughout the day. Within a short time, he had the entire group interacting and conversing comfortably with one another. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour was the highlight of our trip! Peter was a wonderful guide and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the sites and WW2 in general. The Bastei Bridge was incredible. It's a long day but we never felt rushed at any point. The restaurants Peter took us to were also delicious. We will absolutely be doing this tour again when we come back.

This was possibly the best day tour I’ve ever taken thanks to meticulous but astounding planning on the part of Petr. His communication is flawless, everything was punctual and the cafe & lunch stops were both outstanding in terms of charm and taste. Petr’s van is very comfortable which is great since it is a long day with a lot of driving, but you won’t be bored! We started at the Terezín Concentration Camp/Memorial and afterwards stopped at an adorable old railway station turned cafe. Next is the strenuous part, hiking through the Narnia rocks to the summit for a breathtaking view. Lunch was had on the Czech/German border at a gorgeous hotel deep in the woods serving local dishes. The show stopper is crossing into Germany and viewing the stunning Saxon Switzerland National Park and the Bastei Bridge. It will truly take your breath away. The whole day Petr was delighting us with facts and details right up to our return to the city in the evening. If you choose only one day trip from Prague, pick this tour, you will always remember it. Thanks very much, Petr!

Had a fabulous day Pete was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Czech and Germany. On route to terezin the first stop he pointed out a lot of historical facts about the area and moments in history. The coffee and cake shop was a fabulous stop getting us ready for the magical walk around Narnia. Lunch was amazing and lots of different choices my duck was excellent. Then we travelled to Germany and the Baseil bridge great phot opportunity’s there. Pete was a fabulous guide and even though it is a long day nothing was hurried and the day was definitely one I will always remember. The small group was perfect and a great way to meet other travellers who are interested in the same thing. Fantastic day out and well worth the price and I will definitely recommend Pete and the trip to my family and friends it’s worth it for Pete knowledge of the area alone

This was a very long driving day. The camp is heartbreaking- Peter does a nice job guiding the group through the camp. The local restaurants and coffee are lovely as well as narnia, but it’s a lot of driving and car time. Thank you Peter for taking good care of us!

Prepare yourself for a long day and a lot of hiking/walking - but it's worth it! A huge bonus is that this tour will pick you up at your hotel (or another location) and that's such a great convenience! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and we really enjoyed him. He did, unfortunately, have a family emergency, which distracted him from the tour for a bit, but he was able to resolve it and get back to the conversation. At one point, I was concerned about how tired he was driving us back into the city. It's a long day!

My partner and I can't stop talking about this remarkable full day trip! Our amazing guide Peter was so knowledgable and provided so much information - we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with him as we visited Terezin Concentration Camp, the Tisá sandstones used in the Narnia movies, and the jaw-dropping Bastei Bridge. I can't imagine a more perfect day of contrasting sights and experiences! The activity level is moderate, so wear comfortable shoes. The tour also includes a delicious lunch in a wonderful Chateau restaurant, and a fantastic coffee and pastry stop. Do not miss this tour!

Came to see Narnia, but I gained a cultural experience. From the deep dive onto the prison experience during the World War II to seeing the national hero of the Philippines, José Rizal having a dedicated space, I found my tour guide Petr (Peter) so well versed in history and even showing interest to that outside of Czech history. The coffee and desert stop was wonderful, but lunch was most spectacular!! Lastly, learning about Bohemia and seeing the Narnia was quite amazing; the Bastei bridge in Germany was so beautiful, my pictures don’t do it justice. This is well worth the day trip! Hope to be able to bring another with me in this tour.

let me start by thanking peter our guide for a terrific day .he is a very knowledgeable and passionate tour guide who certainly enjoys what he does .we were fortunate to be the only ones on the tour on the day but we had a great day .it started quite harrowing with a visit to terezin concentration camp we got a full look around and he also took us to the "model ghetto" which was built to deceive the outside world that jewish prisoners were treated fairly and we saw the propoganda film which was made at the time .the rest of the day was very different .after coffee we went to where the first narnia film was made which was quite stunning then we had a traditional czech meal in a four star hotel ,then on to dresden to the saxon switzerland national park where the views are quite stunning .we had a fabulous day and i would recommend this tour to anyone visiting prague .peter thanks again for a special day

Yet, we got ourselves out that morning and I can safely say it was the BEST day ever!! What can say about our tour guide Pete Hainz that could be enough?? He is a walking Wikipedia of knowledge! OMG! He was full of such information that we knew we were dealing with a local who loved his hometown! The cafe stop for pastries and drinks was divine. Beautiful. My hubs and 3 girls had such a great time that I became hero booking the tour. Bohemian Switzerland is a must visit! Reminds me of grand canyon and the vastness of the universe and how tiny we humans are in the general scheme of nature's beauty. We enjoyed seeing where Narnia was filmed. We loved crossing the borders to Germany although nature showed us that there were no boundaries as the rock formation continued unhindered by man's arbitrary borders. We saw the Bastei bridge and the continuous beautiful of Sandstone formations. All in all, a must-do journey/tour for anyone old or young. It ended up being our best day! It was an amazing experience. The tour was perfect, and Petr was incredible. He is by far the best tour guide I've ever had, and he is so knowledgeable and kind. He is considerate and made for great conversations. He had great communication before the trip and made for an experience that I'll never forget!

All inclusive tour. Morning tea was in a beautiful train cafe and lunch was in a 1st class restaurant with incredible views and gorgeous menu. Catered for vegetarian and Vegan. Very safe driver with comfortable van. Small group (we had 5 in our tour) that makes you feel like you are on a private tour. Peter the tour leader has incredible knowledge and keeps the tour entertaining and very interesting. Door to door pickup and drop off. I recommend this tour above any other I have done. Amazing tour! Peter was so friendly and knowledgeable. Any questions we had, he was able to answer. All of the tour's stops were great, we learnt so much, and had an incredible time. 10/10 would recommend!
