The tour was very informative and I learned a great deal. The tour guide was an American ex-pat who knew his tour backwards and you couldn’t help but learn from all of the information presented here

Very interesting and informative could of been a little shorter our guide Allen was very good. We really enjoyed the cryptic element
Our Guide Allen, provided excellent information and insights around the relevant parts of the tour. Even though the tour was over 3 hours the time flew by. I would highly recommend this tour.
We had a fantastic World War II tour in Prague today with Dan! He was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and engaging throughout. His passion for history really shone through and made the whole experience so interesting and enjoyable. A brilliant tour with an excellent guide. Highly recommend Dan! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Our tour guide,Allen, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and congenial. Really enjoyed the tour.
Excellent and informative tour. Daniel was a wonderful tour guide. Thank you!
Dan was excellent and his knowledge was second to none! Very interesting and very moving visiting the church of the Anthropoid events.
Fascinating tour I earned lots of information about the operation and more history of Prague besides!
Allen fantastic guide was amazing was very informative and helpful and excellent guide. Was very good telling us the story of world war 1 and 2 and all places we visited . Man was from new York was down to earth and easy going. Preferred to walk more but apart from that was well worth the money. Was about 3 hours long . Small crowd size
It was a great tour with everyone, it was really a lot of fun, and we got a very deep historical insight into Operation Anthropoid. I highly recommend it to everyone!"
This was a FANTASTIC experience. Dan/Daniel was a great guide and very knowledgeable. They’re not lying when they say it’s a lot of walking, wear comfortable shoes!
Dan was super knowledgeable and a wonderful guide on this tour! 10/10 would recommend for anyone visiting Prague.
Allen our tour guide was truly amazing. He was very informative and really told a compelling story. My dad especially loved listening to Allen. He talked us through ever stage which lots of detail some of which we knew but a lot that we didn’t. Allen was respectful the whole way through the tour. We would highly recommend.
Dan was an excellent tour guide and very informative. Dan was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions would highly recommend this tour.
Allen was incredibly engaging, informative, and handled this heavy topic with the sensitivity it deserved. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, especially if you're lucky enough to book with Allen
Daniel was a very knowledgeable and informative tour guide, and an all-around nice bloke. we loved seeing the key sites in the Anthropoid story, in particular the Orthodox church and crypt.
Very informative guide who was passionate about his subject. He really brought everything to life. I went with my husband as it’s his interest so I found it quite a long tour (3.5 hours plus) with very little opportunity for sit downs and one toilet break which required coins for metro station toilets. It was a grim subject which wasn’t sugar coated and the guide was clearly invested in the history personally. Overall a very good tour but would have added a sit-down stop for toilet and 10 min rest.
Allen was the best guide I had in a long time. Super interesting Tour
We had an excellent Operation Anthropoid tour with Daniel. There were just the two of us on the tour, which made the experience feel very personal. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the history, explaining everything clearly and answering all our questions. The visit to the crypt and the story of the paratroopers was particularly moving. One of the highlights of our trip to Prague and a tour we would highly recommend.
A lot of walking. Our tour guide was very well informed. He did speak very fast though, which often made him hard to understand. He was very respectful though of those in the group who struggled to keep up his pace.
Our Guide Dan was a lovely young man and very informative, we really learned a lot and got to see some historical land marks that we would not have encountered otherwise. I really recommend this tour if you love WWII history and want to learn some lesser known histories of occupation of Prague/Czech Republic and an added bonus if you have Dan as your guide.
Everyone with an interest in WWII and the Anthropoid Mission should take this your. Allen was a superb and knowledgeable tour guide.
I am an historian and getting to learn about the Czech experience during the war, and especially the Anthropoid Mission, was important to me. Allen was a knowledgeable and excellent guide. I highly recommend this 3 hour walking tour.
This was an absolute great walking tour for people who love the history of WWII in Prague along with Résistance and the importance of Operation Anthropoid. I highly recommend you requesting Alan as your guide, he was amazing! His passion for the history and knowledge of Prague is undeniable. Sincerely, John, Jeff and John
I would 100% recommend going on this tour! The group was very small, and our guide Allen was super informative and engaging 🙂 A must-see for any history lover!
Our guide was very knowledgeable, and presented a very informative tour of this dark time in Prauge's history.
It was good. He knew the history well and explained it all. Except the conclusion to ww2.
Allen was an excellent tour guide and historian. He tells the compelling story of the Czech people throughout the war with great deal of respect and personal investment. The visit to the crypt makes it all very real and reminds us what is worth protecting.
My sister and I joined Dan for this tour. It was a fabulous experience. Dan is very knowledgeable and the tour really helped cement the historical events for me while experiencing the actual locations they occured. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone with interest in WWII.
Very informative tour that narratively tells the story of the Nazi occupation and the Czech resistance.
Daniel was an excellent guide, very thorough explanation of the history of WW2 in Prague and Operation Anthropoid. We definitely got our steps in but well worth it.
The guide was a no show, I wasted an afternoon on a tour that never happened. I never and still have not received an explanation from the guide or Viator. Very angry and frustrated
Daniel was a superb tour guide who passionately told the stories of World War II and the anthropoid operation in 1942. He answered any questions with clarity and my husband and I couldn’t have asked for any more from the tour. It was just absolutely wonderful and we would gladly recommend him to anyone in the future for an unforgettable experience yo. Thanks again, Daniele. I hope you like your chocolate lol
We had Daniel for our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about Operation Anthropoid and the war in general. We would highly recommend Daniel and this tour to better understand the Czech resistance, the Gestapo in Prague, and the elimination of Heydrich. We had several great discussions on these subjects and really enjoyed our time with Daniel.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and interesting. Perfect tour for any inner historian.
Richard was a fantastic guide! The original your was very informative, and on top of that he was able to answer every question I had and was able to give fun historical facts even beyond the scope of the tour.
Richard was an exceptional guide with a vast depth of knowledge who provided an in-depth overview of the Nazi occupation of Prague. His easy and engaging style was outstanding and made communication with a multinational group very pleasurable and informative
If you are a WWII buff this tour ties in the main focus to eliminate German SS officer Reinhard Heydrich, the butcher of Prague. Our tour guide Daniel specializes in history and covered events from the end of 1918 through 1945. I highly recommend taking this tour with him.
As someone who is very interested in this period of history, and in particular Operation Anthropoid, this tour did not disappoint. Our tour guide Allen was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and provided a background to how we ended up going to war in the first place, and later the plan to assassinate Heydrich. He told the story, much of which is quite upsetting in a very human way, and in a way which my wife (who isn't necessarily a world war 2 enthusiast) found very interesting and easy to follow. The tour culminated at St Cyril and St Methodius church where Czech paratroopers (2 of whom carried out the attack on Heydrich) hid in the crypt, and were eventually betrayed. A very sombre place, but a privilege to visit and pay respects. A highly recommended tour.
Our guide, Allen, is not only deeply passionate about the subject but also exceptionally well versed in both the historical context of the events that preceded the Anthropoid story and the complex details of the story itself. He connects at a most human level with his guests and is a delightful individual to spend time with. An excellent and moving presentation. Well worth the time and money. We will hopefully see him again one day in Prague.
If you’re a fan of history this tour is a must. Daniel is a wonderful guide and extremely knowledgeable. Do a general walking tour and tour of the Jewish quarter, of course. Next, you should do this.
there is a lot if walking, but the wslking is a good wsy to see the town. Dan was very helpful snd knowledgable.
For all enthusiasts of WW2, this is a must. The tour concentrates on specifics regarding Operation Anthropoid, thus you can learn something new even if you have a broad knowledge of WW2. Daniel does a great job explaining those specifics.
A very worthwhile educational experience. After initially setting the WW2 scene, Dan took us through the full picture of the planning, build-up and execution of Operation Anthrapoid, the repercussions and events following. He was sure to follow the events in chronological order which helped to in some way relive the events of the time. An excellent tour led by a knowledgeable and experienced guide. Thank you Dan.
Very interesting tour, our guide Dan is very knowledgeable and his English was very good. Not only did he explain a lot of things related to the tour. He also pointed out some things for us as we were walking around, which made it even more interesting. He’s an extremely nice young man and bright the history of World War II alive for us.
Dan our guide was so kind and knowledgeable- the tour was extremely informative and interesting - we loved every minute and Dan did an amazing job guiding us.
Richard had a great experience; he's very professional and has a great grasp of the information. I immersed myself in the history of Prague and WWII
A great experience, Richard handles the subject very well and keeps the tour dynamic.
Me and my usband took part with tour commemorating Operation Antropoid and WWII with Allen. Our guide was very knolegable, passionate about history , intelligent and very nice. Although topicis notnew to me, as I am ,yselff well orientated in history of WWII and German occupation in Europe, I learn a quiteafew new things I am very grateful for to Allen
Richard was mega cool and very knowledgeable! Truly enjoyed learning and walking these dark historical sites. It’s important to remember these times to prevent them occurring again. The tour guide, myself and another guy had a beer when it was done, chatting about history and being nerds! It was great time!
