Great way to get the city highlights and some great background and history about the area. Anna was a fantastic tour guide, conscientious about checking on her group and ensuring everyone saw the pics she shared. We’d been to Prague previously and still saw some additional sites and learned more about the city’s history. Note that small group was 22 people, and there isn’t a lunch break during the 4-hour tour (full day tour participants had lunch when the 1/2 day tour ended), so bring a snack to keep energized😀
Andrej was an excellent guide and communicator with a wealth of stories and knowledge of Prague history. Really enjoyed the 4 hour walking tour.
“Ross” was a wonderful guide. Very affable and knowledgeable. Knows his Prague history. Was receptive to any and all types of questions. Tour did not seem rushed at any point. We were on the 4 hour version of the tour. Others in the group participated in the 2.5 hour and 6 hour versions. Would strongly recommend the 4 hour version.
We did the four hour tour, which gave us an overview of the highlights of Prague. Ross, our guide was a very informative with 16 years experience. His knowledge of the city and its history was very impressive. We enjoyed this tour very much and would highly recommend!
Take water and a hat, great tour fantastic guide, will arm visitors well for exploring Prague on your own
A very enjoyable and informative tour. Our guide, Anna spoke knowledgably with enthusiasm and elements of humour but particularly with emmotion when she came to the Nazi Occupation, Resistance movements and Jewish settlements etc. around WW2.. If you only have a short time visiting Prague then this tour covers the must see Charles Bridge, the Lennon Wall, Prague Castle (and surrounding), the Jewish Quarter and Old Town Square plus explaining the architectural differences in the building styles.. Anna also had laminated cards along the tour, such as detailing the historic development of the distinct sections of Prague.. the Lesser Town, Old Town, New Town, Jewish Quarter.. eady to understand and all fascinating stuff, Thank you Anna!
A great tour with a knowledgeable and friendly guide (Ross). All the important sites were included. Wear comfortable shoes!
It was an amazing 4 hour walking tour, guide was super knowledgeable and it helps you basically oriented and know all of the main Prague buildings very quickly. Super helpful and friendly and informative :)
This is an excellent way to get acquainted with Prague, and learn some of the history of this beautiful country. Our guide, Katerina was excellent, telling the story of Prague, with some personal insights. Our only regret was that we hadn’t booked the longer tour (which includes lunch and a boat trip). Highly recommended.
Fabulous tour! I learned about Prague, its history, the castle, the neighborhoods, the legends! The guide was brilliant!
Good overview of Prague! Jana our guide was great super knowledgeable and able to cater to needs of the group.
Good tour of Prague. A lot of walking and a couple sets of stairs to go up. Christoff was very knowledgeable, however at times difficult to hear due to having a quiet voice for a larger group in a very busy city. We learned a lot about the history of Prague, the palace and Jewish town. Welcomed questions.
Ross is great! Super energetic and very knowledgeable of Prague and its history. I really enjoyed how much he let us know about the current geopolitical climate as well - super interesting to tie the old stuff back to the new world!
Our guide was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Open to answering any questions that we had and was mindful to ensure everybody was taken care of.
Martin was very knowledgeable professional and courteous. We enjoyed our tour and he answered all of our questions.I would recommend the tour, thank you
We did the half day tour as we only had a day in Prague and wanted to see the main attractions and then have some leasure time to wonder. The guide was Hannah, very nice lady, she unfortunately wasn't well but she tried not to let it interfere with her work. With a little research and planning you could do this on your own without a guide but we hadn't the time to sort out ourselves
It was a wonderful walking tour despite the rain! Ross was our guide and he did a great job of keeping us on time and on track to see so many amazing sights and to hear so much about the history and life of Prague. He is so knowledgeable and his sense of humour made the tour more enjoyable!! We had an incredible 4 hour walking tour with Ross. Thank you to Ross for a very special time!
A very enjoyable and informative walk. Our guide, Anna, was enthusiastic and very knowledgable, and presented the tour in a happy and clear way. The 4 hour walk included all the key sights of Prague and lots of unexpected history. Anna did a great job.
Great tour, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable! I would highly recommend doing this tour. I loved it
We booked a small group but were added to a large group doing the tour we’d booked and other activities across the day. The guide was not engaging and often didn’t know the answers to questions from the group. The tour also spent very little time in the old town which read as a focus of the tour we’d booked booked. Disappointed with this we learnt more from a different guide the following day on a different tour!
Wonderful guide! She made the excursion even better! We saw so many Prague highlights and learned so much from our engaging guide.
Fantastic walking tour with Marketa. Nice small group and experienced / very knowledgeable guide. A great introduction to Prague & its history.
Our local guide Ross (shortened from his Czech name😀) was excellent. He gave us great insight into the history of Prague and the 4 hour tour flew by.
The sights and history providesd by our guide, Hannah. She is pleasant and organised. She made the tour relaxing without rushing us.
Marketa was a great tour guide. We had challenging conditions - rain and wind and she made the tour fun and informative. Great way to get an overview of Prague.
Our English speaking guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. The group size was a bit large so we had trouble keeping together through the other large crowds.
4 hours packed with great insights into Czech history. Learnt a lot from Ross who was excellent and spent time with questions. Highly recommend this tour
Our tour guide Alice was excellent. She speaks very good English and has a great knowledge of Prague Castle and the other landmarks of the city. I would recommend this tour to anybody new to Prague. If your guide happens to be Alice, you will be very fortunate.
Ross’s knowledge of the history was excellent it really gave context to what we were seeing. He kept it interesting and looked after our group well. I would definately recommend this trip
Our guide was knowledgeable and personable. However, some of our group caused delays, and instead of perhaps shortening each stop, we skipped two areas.
Our guide Buma was great. Very knowledgable and friendly. Shared a lot about sights and politics (for the lay person!). Beautiful weather and wonderful architecture so we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The guide was outstanding. I had a party in my group who was 89 years old and the guide kept a great pace. He was knowledgeable and he made the tour interesting and fun. It was one of the best tours I have taken with this company.
Wonderful tour and our guide, Magdalena, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Prague and provided interesting details at each stop on the tour. Perfect for your first day in the city or if you are only visiting for a short time.
I was very disappointed by this tour, it was my first day in Prague and I wanted to learn more about Prague as a city and its history. Unfortunately our tour guide Barbara told us very little about Prague's rich history and only focused about the time of the Soviet Union and how much she disliked Russians. Most of our tour was directed about her hatred to Russian people which was very unprofessional and unfortunate. She also kept criticizing her own country. I felt that she did not like her city or her country and that reflected on my experience. I came her to learn about Prague not your personal feeling towards another nation. Tour guides should leave their personal political opinion to themselves as we did not ask for it! I would not recommend this tour and it would have been better if I explored the beautiful city by myself.
Fantastic tour made even more special by our brilliant guide Ross. So much information delivered in a fun and friendly way. All the major attractions were brought to life by the events that have shaped Prague in the historical past to the present day. This tour offers a great way to find your way around a wonderful city. Thank you Ross for answering all our questions.
Fantastic tour all around the city, from Prague Castle (not inside) to Jewish Quarter and Old Town. Given so many interesting stories and so much background information. Can’t recommend enough
Our guide, Paria was very knowledgeable. She had a great sense of humour. Throughly enjoyed!. It’s a must see! She gave a lot of insight into Czech history!
Wonderful walking tour with Marta who was very informative, engaging and fun. She mixed the history of Prague with interesting stories that were insightful and that gave us a real sense of the cultural mosaic. Saw the main sights at a comfortable pace despite the crowded streets on a busy Sunday. Highly recommend this tour to learn about the rich history of Prague and how to get around the city afterward on your own.
Good tour of the highlights of the Old City area. Well-planned circuit from the Charles Bridge to the castle area and on to the Old Town Square. Paria provided lots of interesting details and historical perspectives which enhanced the experience.
Alisbeth (not sure if this is the correct spelling) was a wonderful guide. Her knowledge and passion stood out along with her friendly and inclusive manner. We just took part in the walking tour component and learned so much to enhance our stay in Prague. Alisbeth had an outstanding level of knowledge which she imparted very clearly and was always happy to respond to any questions. We appreciated the anecdotes she shared that added to bringing the story of Prague to life. We recommend this tour to anyone who would like to get to know more about the history and people of the magical city of Prague.
It was great Good exercise Beautiful views Saw everything but the clock We did not do the lunch just the walk and it was plenty
Our tour guide, Yana, made this walking tour heads and shoulders above others I’ve experienced. Stories, history, antidotes about Prague, it’s occupation by foreign invaders, the monarchy, the people…. All flowed organically making me wish I had booked the full day tour. She could speak personally to life before and after Communism. All absolutely fascinating!
Really great in-depth tour of the city! I enjoyed the amount of detail provided by our tour guide. Unfortunately at the end of the tour our guide skipped the old town square site explanations and ended the tour immediately upon arriving here. I was a bit disappointed by this and walked around to see the sites in the square myself but missed hearing the stories and history associated with them. I felt the time of the tour could've been adjusted to spend more time on these sites and less time at items earlier on in the tour.
The path taken around Prague was excellent but a little too much talk on the history. I want to know history for sure but not the level of detail provided. Saying that, Hana’s knowledge was outstanding but I felt I didn’t need to know all of it More photo opportunities more appropriate
Our guide Simon was extremely knowledgeable and brought the history of Prague to life! Thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Highly recommend!
Our guide Jana was incredibly knowledgeable and able to answer any question. She used the time we were with her to the ultimate and we covered a lot of ground and visited all the top sites. She brought to our attention small things that you would normally walk past (and would not be noted in the guidebooks) which definitely added colour to our tour. Throughly enjoyable!
The tour offered a comprehensive amount of stops in Prague. The tour guide was very informative. We were very happy with tour
It was a quick overview of parts of the city. We went back over the next few days to the things that interested us the most. The guides recommendations on things to do and restaurants were spot on. This was the perfect 'first day in Prague' thing to do.
Fantastic tour with a great guide Gave us a great insight into Prague as we had limited time to do everything.
