This was shockingly bad. Very amateur. The whole thing just didn't flow right with the silent comedians with audience members who were clearly part of the act casually linking to the light show. The dancers were poor very amateur and the light show was poor too. It's probably ok for kids but for adults please don't waste your money. We walked out half way through it was that disappointing and others walked out too. Not worth a visit or the money I'm afraid.
We visited the WOW Black Light Theater in Prague yesterday and loved every minute of it. The show is full of amazing visual effects, great dancers and so much creativity. No words are spoken so it’s perfect even if you don’t speak Czech. Great value for money and a must-see in Prague! We left with a big smile. -
A very nice and unique experience. The theatre and seating were comfortable. The show was continual and engaging. Talented dancers in a unique black light environment. Highly recommend the show.
While there are some fun elements and some clever visual effects I got the feeling a lot of the last 15 minutes was padded out with stage dancing. Unfortunately it adds nothing to the show. If this is the best show in Prague, then you need better shows. I can see all the actors worked hard. Lots of love to them, but the show needs more dream effects, less dancing, and more of a theme. Either more like Blue Men or more like Circus de Solei.
I thought this was fun and original! Something I’ve never seen before and I really enjoyed it. I thought the dancing was great. Ballet and break dancing styles. Fun costumes. If you want to do something different, this is a great option. Only an hour show too.
Idea is great. However preforming was like school/home made. Doesn't worth this much $. We left on the middle of the show.
A pleasant way to spend an hour in Prague. Very original, entertaining and unique show, set to music. Plenty of dancing and involvement with audience.
Look, it's mostly just people dancing. The abstract/graphic part (the interesting one) Is like 5% of the show. Maybe for small kids, or for a laugh if you're stoned.
Good dancing and a fabulous play with light. There also is some interaction with the audience. No need of language. A good night out for tourists!!!
This was just ok, not as great as advertised. The performers did a good job, but it was just basically some mediocre dancers in fluorescent costumes under a black light. There may have been a story line, but I wasn’t getting it. Maybe it was performance art that was beyond me, but I did not enjoy it and would not do it again.
Horrible, DO NOT RECOMMEND! it is a black light show not a clown show! Half the show was about 2 old men acting like clowns, a lot of jokes were not even funny and also very long like a joke it supposed to be short yk, honestly felt like sleeping, very disappointed, everyone felt like it was a waste of money by the end, dance movements were basic, anyone could do that, nothing special, the only thing i would say is that the costumes were rather alien-ish but ig interesting.
Unfortunately, both me & my husband found the show boring, not exciting at all, very disappointing. And we were not the only ones who got up and walked out in the middle... It felt like a total waste of time & money. Sorry, no WOW
Well, the show is not so WOW for adults. But I think it could work for small kids. I was with 9 year old son. He is kind of liking it.
Dillon was informing and friendly we had a great time and the stories were amazing with lots of interesting things to see and here about
My ticket would show up on the the email link. Viator should fix this luckily since I was alone they still let me in. The show was good I think this is better for families. The illusions could’ve been better but still a good show.
I’m glad I went. I’m he negative reviews scared me but overall a show with black lights and florescence is something I’ve never seen you before and was a great memory. It’s quite interesting. There’s also a very fun 4D treat towards the end that was very tactile!
Such a disappointment that we left after 30 minutes - simply could not stand the awful sound and what was effectively amateur dance in neon suits. What a waste of the ticket price ☹️
Fantastic surprise, thoroughly enjoyed watching with my 21 year old son. I would happily recommend it.
It was the perfect show that doesn’t require understanding Czech. The entertainment transcends language barriers.
This program was a major disappointment. First of all, nobody had mentioned that the actual venue required going down many, many steps, the equivalent of about four stories without an elevator. The actual show was more than boring for adults and scary for children. It had very little in common with the artistry and creativity of some of the original Black Light Theater from Prague performances. In short, after a very disappointing evening, we had to go up all those steps again which didn’t help to make our mood better. Pola Reydburd
Amateur show, maybe good enough for children. The theatre does not leak and the interior temperature was comfortable. The show was OK , very simple to follow. Children may like it, the show is for that level. If you do not have other options, consider it.
What a disgrace to human intelligence !!!! Even my 6 year old grandson would have thought so... Black theatre???? Really?!!!!!! what a joke!!!! Dancers - level of 4th year graduation in school. "SPECIAL" Effects- The lowest you can find: Black theatre is supposed to be all about contrasts between what you see and what you don't (hidden in the pitch black) and in this show one could see everything most of the time...so ridiculous 5 min after the opening it became the best farce in town and we couldn't believe the low level of this show....
Far from the Black Theatre experience. It was disappointing and an absolute rip off. Amateur dancers which were visible. Very old stage props that didn't create the sense of magic. Choreographies were a joke and absolutely no plot. Absolute waste of time.
Very poor story Poor and long ..could be in 30 mins enough Quality of lights, cloths and technical things could be much better
We didn’t know what to expect with this show, and we were really surprised with the audience interaction.
The Black Light show was unique visual and musical experience. Would highly recommend it for an evening out in Prague.
We thought it was really fun. A bit rough around the edges but the tickets were cheap enough. There were interactive scenes with giant balls thrown into the audience which made everyone laugh. People dressed as spiders that jumped into the audience, which again made everyone laugh. We would definitely go again. We got there about 20mins early and were near the front of the queue so got decent seats.
Not even a 3 out of 10 Not coordinated not good music Dancers mediocre Would not recommend Over priced not a special place
This is not skip the line. We waited in a long line and ended up in the back of the theatre. Go early
Quite weird and very unique. Lots of fun. Good evening out. Get there in plenty of time as very busy
We do not recommend this. A good idea but execution and dancing wasn’t great. They toss giant balls into the audience which are heavy and hit you from every direction they also have people in spider costumes sneak into the audience and jump scare people.
Large basement theatre with unreserved seating. Bit of a free for all. Not completely 'black light' as actors completely visible. Noisy audience throwing glow sticks around and shouting out. One hit me and another hit my young child. No house management once the performance begins. Stage too big for the performance. Costumes, sequences, music all reminiscent of older theatre. Would have paid about a fiver for it; not what we paid! Performers were great and engaging. Loved the spider sequence and of course throwing giant balloons about is always fun for kids. It just needs a better venue and some serious investment. I have seen black light about twenty years ago and it was a different experience.
The show was quite boring and seemed quite immature (as if it was performed by school learners). The choreography was not timed well and wasn’t particularly well structured. The best part of the show was when the actors threw a few large balloons into the crowd to let them hit them back and forth. This is the only time my 9 year old paid any attention.
It seemed like stuck in time and it was boring. Some people left in the middle of the play. The theater lacked accesibility facilities so it can be difficult for some people to access.
Really disappointing. The “wow” on the title name of the show is significantly way beyond the reality. I’ve had the opportunity to see Black Theatre before and this show is nothing close to This show over-depends on a set of coreographies with colorful colors and nothing else, short from the great original idea of objects moving around in the dark having real interaction with the actors and being entertaining for the audience. You could measure by the level of excitement and clapping from the crowd that didn’t react until minute 45 (out of a 60min show) where actors pushed giant bouncing balls into the audience to interact with. And that was the only moment where you could see smiles around. I don’t recommend this one, and would recommend to try another one closer to the original concept and probably less of a tourist trap.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was a truly fantastic experience! The performances and special effects were fabulous. Big FUN no matter what your age!
Overall the show was OK but all of the props were very ‘arts and crafts’ which took the ‘wow’ out all any illusions. The show is in need of some investment and upgrading. This performance had a lot more dance than I expected. The dancers were good and clearly put a lot of effort into the show. The little theatre was very pleasant.
Amazing experience. Kids were absolutely « wowed »! Bravo! Definitely keeps the younger crowd on the edge of their seats. Sit as close to the stage as possible.
The show was amazing! I had heard about the Prague Black Light theatre a long time ago and wanted to see it and we were not disappointed! So clever and well done with audience interaction in parts of the show. Photography was banned for the show so no photos. We highly recommend it as a great nights entertainment.
Art Deco underground theatre, intriguing environment! Comfortable seats. The show is very entertaining!
I loved this show. Don’t try to analyse the show just watch and enjoy the visuals and creativity. Cleverly executed, quirky. Some surprises in store for you!
Amazing show, the dancers are so fun and talanted. The ball throwing in the audience was hilarious.
They do a pretty good job with clearly little money. The dancers are good and the story is creative. But I would probably go for another show with a more reputable company.
This is not a tour for children or show for children. It is scary and bizarre. The music is dark and I think it should be actually advertised as this.
The show had little to no story line and the sound was so loud people had to put hands for the ears. All felt it was waste of money. Terrible experience. Dancers were good though but with no story and too loud music the show had no value.
Hard to find as no directions given (like a map link) and there’s another Black Light theatre in Prague? We ended up ringing them to check. As for the show, I’d say it’s more for children and young teenagers, but we liked it somewhat
I'm not sure what to think of this one. The idea is quite interesting, performers in glowing costumes on a pitch black stage with black light. But the dances are unimaginative and repetitive, the story is very lofty and boring at times, and it's just not very engaging overall.
I don’t want to spoil and give away highlight, but it’s a crafty modern work that was worth the trip. I would not advise a very young child but my 8 year old enjoyed. Be sure you double check the location.
Highly recommend. The performers were performing really hard on the stage. The whole show was on full steam and funny. Great for family.
