The collection is truly huge to have been created by a single person. It's well laid out and presented, with excellent attention to detail even down to shelf supports made of lego. My boys are teens but enjoyed it a lot, not least the Star Wars room.
This is someone’s hobby on display and is not even remotely worth the money they are charging. The small amount of displays that did something didn’t work. It was basically a Lego shop and nothing museum about this. We spent £40 and had a walk around to look at some display cabinets. Such a waste of money.
Basically a shop with lots of sets in glass cabinets. Small play area for youngsters. I was expecting so much more but sadly disappointed. Waste of money
If your after huge scale Lego sets and imaginative displays then maybe there are better places. For sure number of sets from the the late 1970’s onwards it’s well worth it. Lots of information to and a nice interactive game to play both for adults and children. Small children have a few areas to play as well. Lego mainly on display in cabinets and clearly labelled. A few pieces pre 1970 but not as many as I thought there would be. Good Star Wars and Harry Potter sections. But as said, pretty much every set post 1990. Friendly enough. Maybe 1 hour activity at a stretch. Small shop compared to others visited. Also has a fantastic model of the Charles Bridge.
Amazing experience for people of all ages. The museum was huge and had sets and minifigures from all genres. Very interactive for kids including a huge Lego play area, interactive parts of the Lego sets and even a quiz to win a lanyard. Was very cheap at around £8 and took around an hour to go around and see everything. This guys collection is huge. Perfect for Star Wars fans too with a massive LEGO Star Wars area with a cloud city boba fett figure too. The only drawback was the shop itself was quite expensive but it is to be expected in the centre of Prague.
The Museum of Bricks had an amazing collection of Lego, with many past sets and free build of Prague. I would recommend it to all fans of Lego!
Cool museum/exhibit of a lot of Lego. Scavenger hunt was fun for the kids (even the 21 year old) and the diploma was a nice touch.
Such a fun experience worth every penny! Loads of different legos from history. Fun interactive activities and displays. Fill in a quiz to get a free diploma. Fantastic staff we’re happy to take pictures for us
If ur into Lego then its well with the cost price is 285czk but if u have a 30% voucher it brought the price down to 199.50czk however they dont accept card payments at the museum they only accept cash but u can buy ur ticket online We really enjoyed seeing all the stuff made from Lego and how cleverly its done
It's not a museum. This is a Lego shop with some built sets and about 3 cool Lego structures. You can get 98% of the value by looking at the pictures on front of a Lego box We were in and out within 5 minutes, politely asked for a refund. The manager was incredibly rude to us too. Really cannot recommend. Maybe if you're a Lego super fan. Also, not over 1000m^2 of Lego, nor is it the largest Lego collection in the world. False advertising through and through
Fun experience. Done in around an hour or so. Worth seeing if you like lego. Staff were friendly. Would recommend
It doesn’t worth it , too narrow to enjoy with kids . Overrated place It’s true that they have a very big collection of Lego but really it’s too narrow a lot of stairs we couldn’t enjoy it small rooms. Even toilet I couldn’t take my kids inside because it was only for 1 person and my kid still need help with it !! Tickets for 4 “ 2 adult , 2 kids “ was about 800 CZk
Great way to use your an hour. This was one of the go city adventures. Did a great quizz in there too the stars wars part was the best bit
we were a little confused at first because we thought we had walked into a kids play zone (lol) but we carried on and the museum part was actually really cool! i don’t quit understand the play zone at the front but nevertheless we enjoyed it!
A Guinness world record holding collection of Lego sets and MOCS which was just amazing. So much to see and be in awe of and the added bonus of a Lego shop at the end. Well worth a visit for Lego fans.
This was so dissapointing. My son described it as if somebody had an 8 year old spoiled nephew that demanded a museum to display his mediocre lego structures. We had to pull through with sarcasm. The collection of Lego figures in the store seemed bigger than the one in the museum. Switches on the wall, giving the illusion of something big to come did nothing more than sometimes just a small light. And the masterpiece of the bridge? Laughable. Beside that all: it was so hot inside. The play area was sticky and smelled real bad. The store is expensive. Way overpriced and hardly anything surprising. Please, save your money and don't go here.
Well impressed with the whole set up, mixture of retro and new sets, a must for fans of Lego Star Wars and Harry Potter, so many complete sets of mini figures. Shop is well stocked but more expensive than the UK.
It’s a very interesting small little collection but as stated it is SMALL. Paid €22 to see this collection and left after 4mins of reviewing all the fantastic types of Legos. In my personal opinion I found it quite expensive for such a small museum but everyone’s experience is different
I was surprised to find the museum in Prague and knew I had to go as a Lego fan. It was a fun experience that took us about an hour to complete though it could take someone else more or less time depending on the themes he/she is interested in. It would have been nice if more displays had motion or lights. Loved the builds of the Prague sites (Powder Gate, Charles Bridge, Astronomical Clock).
My friend had a huge lego collection as a child so this was one of her "must sees". It reminded me of museums of my childhood. Somewhat quaint, cramped and stuffy, but nontheless packed to the rafters with lego characters and scenes to enthral all ages. My friend was exstatic and took tons of photos! The younger children were also enjoying it immensely. Minimal amount of interactivity. More than the displays, for me, was the history behind it. About the gentleman who started the museum and why, plus the history of the creator of lego. I read all the information boards. Note: Best take local currency to pay for entry. Our cards weren't accepted. Anyone with mobility issues may find the three flights of narrow stairs a little challenging. There is no lift access that I saw. One extremely cramped downstairs toilet. Upon exit through the main doors, same side on your left, one or two doors down is a pavement cafe attached to a small hotel (black and orange branding.) We had the most delicious salads, my friend an apple pastry desert with ice cream and good quality coffee. Very reasonably priced too.
Really good wee museum if you like Lego. For me the highlight was the playroom with more Lego than I knew what to do with. Never thought I’d say I enjoyed rolling about in Lego but it was genuinely great craic!
My 12 yr old grandson LOVED his time at the Lego museum. If your childhood ( and perhaps later years!) included building with Lego, this is the place to be. It is somewhat cramped and crowded, but worth the trip through Lego memory lane.
An incredibly large number of Lego models. You should have an hour or two for a visit or more, if you will try to build your own sculpture or a model.
A really interesting visit to the world largest Lego collection. It is really a collection of built Lego sets, but really well organised and presented. We had a great time remembering the sets we had as kids, and the ones our kids had. They had a number of custom built sets which were also pretty cool. The staff were great and you could tell they were also Lego fans. Only two downsides, the entry ticket was pricey and only able to be paid in cash. No disappointment though, still worth a visit.
Lots and lots of models to look at, some newer and some older. My boyfriend and I had great fun saying ‘I had that!’ at everything. Quite a few different areas, we really liked how clever the charles bridge was also. Make sure to have a look and see what characters you can spot in the scenes, we saw painters and photographers and the odd superhero. Fun for those who like lego!
Very nice Lego museum. Had lots of models, some old (1990s) and some new (Star Wars). There’s an area for kids to build and we enjoyed it a lot
Before I walked in this museum I was pretty excited. When we got there I was disappointed with the fact that they didn’t accept debit cards and when we payed with euros they gave us back Czech money. It was a lot smaller than we expected and some of the displays didn’t really work. There were some legos that were impressive and I enjoyed those. But my experience in sum wasn’t that great. We wanted to buy a little lego block as a keychain but it was 12€ (as much as student ticket). 12€ for one small lego block!
was actually really good, charles bridge made out of lego is insane and must be seen, my kids of 13 and 9 loved it, thought it was good value for money and was in there for 2 hours, staff could of been a bit more friendly but the museum was decent
If you're into lego (like my partner) then unsurprisingly this is probably a good place to check out. How long it takes to get around is really down to you and how much time you want to spend looking at the models and displays, there are a fair few some pretty complex and interactive. There's also a shop at the end (isn't there always) which includes some rare lego models so if you're looking for a unique gift for a lego enthusiast it's also worth checking out.
Initially I found the ticket price very steep as the first room in the museum in Prague had a lot of things broken, like switches that didn't work or lego pieces that had fallen from their intended place but after this first room it became really good. To know that it was all one mans collection is impressive. All the Lego scenery was impressive, especially those of the wonders of the world. The exhibits just kept coming, there were rooms upon rooms of different Lego sets, with interactive places to see moving parts and it was so fun. From Star Wars to Pirates of the Caribbean. I was mesmerised by it all and was in awe at each turn. I usually don't like Lego but was very impressed by it all. The tour is supposed to be 45 minutes but we ended up spending over an hour. Highly recommend if you like Lego and want to see something different while in Prague.
Class stop off for family’s, couples or friends. Has lots of Lego sets to view. From blast from the past or Morden sets, it has them all. None of us are really into Lego as such but we enjoyed walking around it and viewing all the sets. I would have loved to have been able to play with them all! It has a gift shop aswell with sets available to purchase or individual Lego people.
Anyone who likes Lego will enjoy the museum. After all the Lego they see, kids probably force their parents to buy more in the museum shop...
This was a great place to visit. My son saw so many sets he used to have when he was younger. The lego scenes were put together with so much imagination.
Visited the Lego museum on a wet Saturday in August. Read reviews and thought it would be an interesting hour or two visit. Wished we hadn't gone to be honest as it just wasn't worth the money. Very hot downstairs and no air conditioning. Lots of crying children and cramped conditions. Wouldn't recommend.
If you love Legos, you'll enjoy this museum. Easy to spend an hour here, marveling at the lego sculptures, or putting together your own model. The city Space exhibit was the fav, but Star Wars was neat to. Wish they had more Pirates of Carribean and less Harry Potter though.
Was very interesting to someone who likes lego. It's a huge collection with a lot of information. A lot of the trains are are interactive and there's many interactive lights too. There is a lot of information about the lego company and it's history, plus a few custom build models of famous Prague attractions with more information on those too. Was very good overall.
It is an amazing place. We visited with our 15 yrs old son. All of us had fun. If you are in Prague and like Lego, do not miss it :)
The kids loved playing in the lego museum and even write their own names on it. For sure recommanded for lego fans
Beware of buying kits directly in the Museum, they have prices for "tourists". So you can pay the entrance fee and even add a bonus in the form of an overpriced kit. Great business, congratulations on the idea !! Unfortunately, reviews cannot be published without assigning at least one star. For me -5
The place was good, small though. There was no queue there, so even if we hadn’t bought the ticket we could quickly enter. There is no place for parents to stay and watch their children playing, so staying more than an hour requires patience. From my experience the place targets more the adults who used to play with LEGO, rather than little children. Anyhow, it was not a bad experience, but you don’t miss something from Prague if you don’t go.
Good collection of famous worldwide architectures made up of Lego...a good to visit in Prague for kids entertainment..
If you are travelling with children to Prague, then thats the place to visit. You not only will see amazing Lego constructionson display but also will be able to spend time in play room letting your imagination go wild :)
Too many tourists made LEGO museum fall "asleep". Most of the "electric gadgets" stopped working from our last visit (for small kid a big pity). Entrance fee went up. Really is not worth these four little rooms plus some passages.
Really cool LEGO sets but nothing there's not much to it. If it's a rainy day and you're looking for something to kill some time, I would recommend it. Other than that I would pass.
There were several sections each one had impressive lego constructions with audio and electric additions. The children’s play area is roomy and comfortable. Be careful when you come with kids, they will want to buy everything.
My husband enjoyed looking at the Lego sets from the past. I thought the museum would be more interactive and larger. Overall an interesting stop especially if you love Lego.
Amazing. My inner child was awaken. Its fun for children but if you played with Lego as a kid, you’ll love this place. Also a lot of movie refences and history.
Great museum. Old lego sets right up to new. Something for everyone to enjoy. Great to see the evolution of Lego
This is great for Lego fans and provides about 20-30 mins of viewing a large variety of lego sets. Not expensive and is a little timeout to keep kids happy.
