Our guide Jack (Hansa) was the perfect combination of a superbly informed local and an honest historian with encyclopedic knowledge on the history of Prague and Czechia. We especially appreciated the detailed history of Prague in the modern era, from the end of the Austro-Hungarian Empire through the Velvet Revolution.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Honda in Prague! He guided us around the city for three hours on Saturday, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Honda was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and easy to talk to. He shared so many interesting stories about Prague’s history, culture and everyday life, while keeping the tour relaxed, fun and personal. Three hours flew by, which probably says it all! We would highly recommend Honda to anyone visiting Prague. Thank you for such a memorable tour we couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Jack is an AMAZING guide. I was injured a couple of months ago, so he slowed the pace, avoided stairs and we took the tram wherever possible. His knowledge of Prague is vast so we learned so much about this beautiful city. At the astronomical clock, he explained what all the rings mean and the meaning of all the statues. We were struck by the horrors that that Jewish endured, well before the Nazi invasion. All in all, I would highly recommend this tour a d suggest you ask for Jack!
We loved this tour… such a great introduction to lovely Prague. The company broke up the large group of guests into several smaller ones, which we really appreciated (no need for those ear pieces). Our guide, Andrea, was a total delight with a wealth of historical knowledge and lots of practical tips to share. She told us she studied to be a teacher and it shows. Fantastic walking tour of Prague. Honza was an excellent guide as he shared the history of the area and answered any questions we had. It was a great way to start our visit. We took this tour last year when we were visiting. It was any easy choice to take again since we had other family members with us who had not taken the tour before. Very informative. This is our first trip to Prague. The private tour that was given to us by our guide, Anna, could not have been better. She was born and raised here. Very much in love with her country and so very knowledgeable about its history and culture. Well worth the time and extra money spent for a private vs. group tour so we could be one-on-one to hear her clearly, ask questions and stop for photos whenever we wanted. A++
Honza (Jack) was a fantastic guide. He met us where we were staying and helped us get on the tram. Very friendly. Incredibly knowledgeable and eager to share information. We walked about 2.5 miles and he was attentive to any need for a break (bathroom or hot beverage). Very responsive to all our questions and got us to the astronomical clock right at the hour. Tailored the tour to our interests as we walked around.

He made us feel comfortable, and showed us parts of the city that most tours don’t cover. It felt like going on a walk with an old friend rather than on a tour. Karel did a great job conducting us round Prague. He was engaging and well informed and we really enjoyed the tour. His knowledge of Prague, and Eastern European history in general, was remarkable and he shared it with us in a very easy and entertaining way. He responded to all our questions and we learned about life in Czech both historically and current. It turned out he had attended a university in London close to where our son lived and had also worked in London for a while. We would definitely recommend Karel as a guide.

We LOVED our guide Jake. He was very organized and knew so much about the city and hidden interesting places. We were able to tour at our own pace and ask him all our questions. He asked about our interests before we started and then made sure that we visited places according to our preferences. A very nice person too.
We did this our first full day in Prague and we were very glad we did it. Jack was fantastic and gave us a great tour of the main parts of the city, with lovely insights into the history, the culture, and the contemporary happenings in this lovely city. He clearly enjoyed doing this and we could tell he was as fascinated with the city and everything it has to offer just as we were. Awesome private tour! We arranged a full day walking tour of Prague by basically combining the morning in the Old Town side of the river and the afternoon across the river. Our guide, Mike, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Also, I was able to arrange this by emailing him in advance and he was very responsive and professional. We did this full day walking tour in Prague and it was the perfect start for us to get our bearings and an appreciation of the history of the city. I would highly recommend Explore Prague!!

Perfect way to start our vacation. We took this tour our first morning in Prague. Petra was an excellent tour guide! Since it was a private tour, we were able to ask a lot of questions and kind of gear it toward what we were interested in. She took us to a place for delicious kolache which we were so excited about! Petra shared interesting stories about Prague and the places we saw. I'd highly recommend this tour.
Petra gave an excellent, information filled tour. Petra's presentation is very good and she spoke very clearly in English and answered all questions. The tour covered a fair amount of ground but our group, (mostly 60 year olds) had no problem keeping up. I highly recommend this tour with Petra.

I can’t remember the guide’s name. His name started with a K. Tour was on Tuesday 18/6. He was really informative about the history of Czechia and Prague, and took time to relate various major events at the places where they occurred. This included what life was like under Nazi occupation including their treatment of the Jewish population. He also covered life and events under Russian occupation. In fact, Czechia has not been independent often nor for long in the last 500-600 years. K also talked about the cultural history including Kafka, Mozart, other composers and writers, architects, and a contemporary sculptor called David Černy. It was a great tour and I thoroughly recommend it!

If you’re thinking about this tour. Do it! My girlfriend and I had a private 3 hour tour with the most friendly and knowledgable guide called Andrey. The guy was like a walking encyclopedia. He really brought life and character to the city and made our visit amazing! 10/10
