Involves mostly walking at a rapid pace. (Very difficult for anyone that cannot walk briskly). Only “bus” was to drive to meeting point. Does not include a return ( requires a taxi to return). Everything else was walking . Lunch on River boat was lovely .

Blanca was extraordinary! Knowledgeable, kind and fun. Very informative tour. Loved the cruise with lunch. Lots of walking.
Awesome tour!!!! My your guide was the best 👌, Valentina was very informative and was one my best tour guides ever. Great food on the boat tour and we were able to explore all over town, we hit each stop ahead of schedule and I would definitely 😀 suggest this tour to anyone looking to experience Prauge in a 6 hour period 😀 😉 😄 👍 😊
It was very nice and I ve learned about history of Prague, having Eva Nova as my guide. Thank you very much!
The guide took us to the significant buildings and monuments. He explained, in detail, the history and architecture. Well worth taking this tour as it gives one an overview of the city.
Be prepared for a LONG day of walking! You get to see a lot of interesting places and amazing views, but be prepared to ask for a moment to stop if you need a drink or toilet break because the day is go-go-go! It was a great introduction to the different historical areas of Prague though the boat ride itself was a bit disappointing.
Great to see all the tourist parts. Shane the tour guide smoked all the way through with it wafting in our faces
It could have been a great tour but the guide wasn’t very talkative. He was a senior, I think this made the experience different since he didn’t really connect with us. The tour is 95% walking. The only bus part is when they pick you up and they drop you at the highest point of Prague to come down to the water walking. We took a break after an hour walking and than we had to walk 3 more hours.
The driver and tour guide were very nice. Tour guide had lots of good information/knowledge to share. She had to share in both English and German (which took time repeating the same thing). The pick up for us was great. But mishaps for other two parties. We were stuck in the van for over 2 hours (very warm and cramped). Seeing anything from van was tough if you were in a middle seat. Lunch was nice but should have been preordered to save time when we got there. Plus I have diet restrictions I included and tour guide acted surprised. Boat ride was the best part of the tour. The walking part seemed too rush to enjoy it. Would like to have an opportunity to take some more photos vs constantly following the flag and running to keep up. Hard to catch our breath it was moving non stop. Would recommend communication of what to expect during the day. We will visit these areas, eat lunch at this time, visit these areas and catch the boat at this time etc. Folks taking the tour very nice and made it better.
Brilliant - highly recommended! Great local knowledge, found places we wouldn't have seen on our own...
Not only was our guide very knowledgeable about everything we saw, but the entire tour was a delight. We liked the way the tour was broken up into sections of walking, riding ( van and boat), lunch, so that we didn’t get tired of the same thing for too long.
Driver was on time and very friendly and polite The guide is in the car was not clear st all and route was not planned therefore it was difficult to understand what was going on. Overall once we were by the gardens on foot the tour was better - clear and understandable and she explained in details even to our question. Lunch was average and good Alot of walking - get ready with comfortable shoes Not much time to take pictures
I really enjoyed how she was able to keep us moving at a good pace so we could see everything. She definitely had a good knowledge of the city.
The most memorable part of the tour was the cruise on the river. It was relaxing seeing the beautiful architecture as we motored along. I think the tour tried to cover too wide an area and we couldn't take in all the information provided. Also as the guide was speaking in German, then English this slowed us down and we found it difficult to understand the guide. We would have liked a little more time to take photos after the commentary.
Excellent tour guide 😃. Very informative and knowledgeable with great sense of humour. Walking part was the best .
Martin was a great tour guide for us, showing off Prague's charm and beauty. Thanks. That's all I need to say.
The most thorough tour I can think about in Prague. The guide, George, is brilliant, experienced, and gave us wonderful moments, by car, foot and on a boat. Hifhly Recommended.
There were no "memorable moments" on this tour. From the start, I paid for a tour in Spanish. This was the second bilingual tour, even though I specifically request a Spanish tour. There were 8 people in total. The guide George, asked if we spoke English. I said "yes, but my friend only speaks Spanish." He said he spoke Spanish, but really doesn´t. I told George, I paid for a tour in Spanish because I didn´t want my friend or others to miss out. The bus ride was only to take us up to the castle. We WALKED the rest of the tour. George, instead of carrying an umbrella or stick, held his hand up for us to see and follow him. It was a medium to fast pace. There were A LOT of people. Throughout the tour,George gave dates and basic information. There were other guides who explained a lot more information. On the way to lunch, Geroge gave little or no information nor did he bother to check if all 8 of us were near. After lunch, there wasn´t any improvement. I did ask other guest their opinion. They shared similar concerns and disappointment. This tour was definitely not worth the money paid! I wish I could get a refund.
All the guide did was point out buildings. Gave very little info about the city or country. Didn't engage with us at all at lunch. Very frustrating.
Dana was a very knowledgeable guide whether about architecture, religion, history or politics. We had a good workout (about 10km total walk) to all the key sights, a great lunch in a 14th century building and a relaxing river cruise. Dana is not superficial, but rather an intellectual guide.
Martin was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable, friendly & engaging. We enjoyed this your a lot.
We were picked up late in the morning, missed the start of the tour. The guide, was a lovely older gentleman, but he had a very very tenuous grasp of English. You found this tour the same reason I did, because it's cheaper and available..... There is a reason. Go elsewhere.
I liked being picked up at my hotel, and besides it was raining, and the group was small which is nice.
We have used viator for tours all over the world and this was the WORST EVER! This city is beautiful and there are so many sites to see but the tour guide was surly and impatient. The tour started in a van. The microphone did not work. She was informed immediately and did nothing about it! She did not increase her voice an/or turn her head to assure we could hear. Each site was rushed and she brushed off questions for those on the tour as if they were an annoyance. I strongly encourage seeing this city but not with this guide.
The guides knowledge of the city. Seeing the city in this way enables you to go back later and spend more time in places that interest you personally. Lunch was quite enjoyable
Good tour guide that explain very well on all the places we cover. A little more walking expected for my 81 year old mother.
Tour was extremely too long for what was presented. Guide was not very knowledgeable, repetitious and honestly boring. Worst tour I've had in my travels to date.
We had your guide Sophia and she was the best! Very informative and friendly and spoke good English.
The guide Sofie Milanova was great, excelent in the explantions of the tour. We were 5 people 4 canadians and me brasilian. We just love Prague, beautiful city, and our guide helped us so much. Thanks a lot, Sofie!!!
We booked the tour with great expectations but ... nothing was as we expected. I have to highlight the punctuality of the driver who pick us up at the hotel and the guide who was super nice and very informative. About the tour, I think they have to update they brochure. The car leaves you at the castle and the rest you do it walking, they don't specify that. You only see the museum and the dancing house through the glass of your window. Then it says you have wonderful buffet at the boat....nothing to do with that. After going down the castle you go to a restaurant at 11 o'clock... too early for us to have lunch by the way... and they give you one course meal, no drink included, no coffee, no desserts either. The couple that was with us complaint and the guide paid for two of our beers (hope it was not with her own money). After that you walk to Charles Bridge and a long walk under the heavy sun to the boat, which says it's two hours cruise...nope!!!! not getting to an hour there and they don't give you even some water. When you leave the boat you go to the jewish ghetto and that's where the tour finishes, close to the old square. So, big disappointment. Nothing to do with what they sell. Again, I really want to highlight the guide, she was really nice but I think after covid they change thing but they haven't changed they brochure. DON'T LIE TO YOUR TOURISTS!!!!
Our tour guide did a great job. She was extremely warm and friendly. The tour was extremely informative about the history of Prague.
Sophia our guide was fantastic. Full of knowledge and energy. She made us feel so welcome and wanted to be sure we got everything out of the tour.
Sophia, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and tried to be attentive to small group of six people. Unfortunately, the group consisted of four German-speaking individuals and two English-speaking. AS a result, half the time Sophia was forced to speak in German and the other half in English. Since the tour lasted the expected duration, that meant that only half the tour was in English. What was presented in English was interesting and valuable. The bus ride of the city was worthless because we sat three seats back in the van and couldn’t see out the front window, which is where Sophia was describing the buildings-both in German and English. Additionally, the bus was uncomfortable because our seats were in the sun and there was minimal air conditioning. Perhaps if more English was spoken, Sophia may have been able to describe better the relevance of Charles IV to Prague.
Great day with our guide Eva. If you're looking for a good overall introduction to Prague, this is the best. Lots of walking and a boat ride.
Sophia was the best tour guide. She took us to see all the sites in Prague. She was so knowledgeable about everything we saw. She explained in detail about the city. We enjoyed an authentic Czech lunch with her & even went on a boat ride down the Vltava river. We loved every minute with her. We will contact her the next time we travel to the Czech Republic, which hopefully be in the near future.
Our guide was so kind and knowledgeable She took real care of us The tour was great value for money and we really enjoyed ourselves
Excelent tour we took it in Spanish, our guide Sophie was more than terrific… they picked up in time going to the Castle… and the by foot little by little receiving the information and admiring the beautiful city abd ended with a cruise… one of the most wonderful places we’ve ever been and we are good travelers… will repeat it again with the excellent tour guide…. A+
It was very informative and enjoyable; tour guide answered all questions. Tour was conducted in English and German. Great value for money with lunch included.
We booked this 6.5 hour tour across Prague through our hotel (Hotel Aida) via ‘Best Tour’. Upon booking, we were given a pick up time in which a personal driver from ‘Best Tour’ would pick us up directly from our hotel and take us to the designated meeting point... to note, our driver arrived on time (in fact, a little early!) and everything went as planned. Once dropped off we met our guide - Valentina, and she would be our tour guide for the day taking us around Prague and informed us what we would be doing. Myself and my partner were dubious at first when we realised we were the only two people on the tour, (being winter, perhaps not too much of a surprise) however, thanks to Valentina, our day turned out to be far better than expected! A special mention to Valentina as she was the nicest person we met during our time in Prague and overall, she is a wonderful, kind and most intelligent guide you could hope to wish for. Not only did she inform us throughout the day of the facts and history behind Prague’s greatest treasures, she also made us feel at home throughout and gave a dedicated, friendly and personal feel to the tour. We learnt more than we could have ever hoped for and saw Prague and beyond on what was a greatly satisfying tour! I would 110% recommend this tour as you really do get to see and learn EVERYTHING you would want to know and see about Prague and if you have Valentina, no doubt you will have an even better time! Ryan Best of Prague with guide Valentina - 15.01.2020
It had to be combined tour - bus and walking, but it was only 1 hour on bus. That is ok, but for that we could book a cheaper just walking tour. The guide was good, the only thing - would be great if she had some signs, like orange scarf or yellow bag... we were lost few times, after all we had to follow group very attentively... still, would be great to have a sign or some bright dress or sth. Actually, i understood, one does not really need to book a tour. While walking we did only outside excursions. But if you prepare ahead, you better arrange your time by yourself - museums, boat and churches.. Nevertheless, i had only 1 day in Prague, so it was good that tour was organized. Also, i'd liked to thank operator, that tour was flexible and help center responded my questions swiftly and necessary amends were done correctly, thanks for that
This tour is very interesting, you can visit the most important sites in town, and also you can hear comments and explication from your guide (very good explication from EVA)
I heard Prague is one of the great cities in Europe. I took all the courage to travel alone to satisfy my curiosity and it was indeed an interesting place. First time in this unknown city with the language barrier, I felt safe from my arrival until my departure since people are so helpful and will guide you (taxi driver, hotel receptionist, tour guide). This specific tour is just great since it had covered bus tour, walking tour and cruise tour all in one to understand fully the secrets behind the history of Prague...value for money indeed.
I took this tour two years ago with a lovely woman that did a fantastic job of guiding our group in very cold weather. I repeated the same tour this week to show my husband how wonderful Prague is, unfortunately the guide wasn’t the same, it felt like he was reading from a script ,very monologue. The tour had changed a bit , overall not as good. The sound system in the tour bad was fuzzy and poor quality, difficult to hear. The previous guide had many more wonderful pieces of history and stories of the places we walked past.
When we first started on the bus, we are very unsure of this tour. Once we were dropped off at the castle district and allowed to wonder around, it was much, much more enjoyable. You do get to see all the major highlights on this tour. Unfortunately, you spend VERY little time at any of them. If you only have one day to explore, this is the right tour for you.
The guide makes the tour and Martin was excellent. He was pleasant and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The tour was comprehensive. The lunch was delicious. My only complaint might be the amount of walking, but we had our lunch break in between so that made it ok.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable but was not the most coherent. I would be trying to take pictures and the next thing I know, she was down the street and I had to run to catch up to her. She was a little disorganized but knew all about Prague.
We were supposed to be picked up at a certain time at our hotel. They were a no show. It could have been an amazing tour but we wouldn't know.
Anna our guide was amazing. Her knowledge and dedication to her job is second to none. Very friendly, kind and patient. Thank you Anna
The guide was knowledgeable, patient and sympathetic to the shoe problem that I was having. Had I not been distracted with my shoe problem I probably would have given her an even higher rating.
Wow where to begin. We had a short crammed bus ride, a lovely gentlemen guide who struggled to speak loud enough or clearly, way to many people in the group, and too many languages a huge walk, a late lunch which was of terrible standard in a hot stuffy dungeon/dive restaurant, a crappy boat ride with rude staff a hot cup of water add the condiments yourself a small pastry. We were dropped at some random spot not returned to our hotel as told we were. Please dont waste your time, get a english only tour for a couple of hours do the rest yourself its easy to get around. And I will be letting my travel agent know my thoughts on what he booked as well.
