It was exactly what it said on the tin, a walking tour but at a steady pace which suited all family members from 79 to 13 years. Our guide Steve was great and very informative, pointing out little things that we would have missed if we had done it on our own.
Tour guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to walk with and talk to. She was able to convey to us the beauty of Prague all within a morning visit.
Had a fantastic guide. Sadly forgot his name but had a wooden flute whistle and a hat with feathers. He was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. Highly recommended. (Saw some other tour guides and they looked miserable)
Our tour guide was great! She was so knowledgeable, pleasant and kept things moving and interesting! We enjoyed her immensely! A 10!
If story telling is an art guide Andy mastered it… 3 hrs was wonderful with her stories so engaging… a beautiful city with such a passionate story teller… a combination worth experiencing
A very enjoyable and informative tour. Our guide Honza was excellent, funny and very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from him. Lot of walking so wear comfy shoes with good soles as some distance on cobbled surfaces.
What a great tour! Andi was super knowledgeable, fun, and had great stories. I learned so much about European history, Czech history, and what it's like now. I loved seeing the small alleyways and what to avoid as a tourist. She gave great tips on where to go for an authentic Czech experience. Highly recommend!!
Andy was sensational and full of knowledge and fun … loved the tour and would highly recommend to anyone
Andrea was so knowledgeable, funny and nice. We learned about some Czech history, unique hidden art works and city highlights. She gave us good scoop on how to navigate the city and gave us a great recommendation for lunch and beer afterwards. - Pivovar Strahov.
Christina was absolutely FABULOUS as our tour guide. She was knowledgeable, passionate and funny. Her love for her country was evident and her stories quite fascinating!!! Thank for one of the most enjoyable tours we have experienced!
great tour guide, great tour. enjoyed all of the stops, good pace
Excellent walking tour. Our guide was brilliant. She was well informed and easy to understand. She encouraged questions, and was able to answer all of them. I'd thoroughly recommend this experience to get a really good taste of Prague.
It was cute but it felt like we stood a long time at some of the spots and listened to a lot of stories. The tour guide was nice but I feel like it wasn’t worth the price.
was a very good and thorough walking tour. Guide was good, and added a lot of humor to the history. a
This is a great tour made all the more spectacular through Michaela, whose English and local knowledge is outstanding. The commentary throughout was excellent, with a mix of wit and humor that made everyone very relaxed and wholly engaged. The tour provided a great background for us to go on our own and explore more of Prague. You will not be disappointed with this tour that starts right in the heart of the Old Town.
We had a very nice guided tour with lots of information about the city and its history, Stephan
Lots of history and stories. Learned a lot about the city and historical locations. Would recommend.
Tour guide was very good and knowledgeable. Booked the hour tour that was to end at castle so I pre booked our tickets to tour castle at the end. Only problem was the marathon was on so we did castle and then stayed up there and missed the rest of the tour across Charles bridge. Nothing we could do about it but something to keep in mind if booking
David is an extremely personable & knowledgeable guide, enjoyed the historical insights and educational information that David shared with us; it made us truly appreciate the Czech culture, people and traditions. We liked that it was a small group (8 total), walked a lot but pace was good. Guide allowed break for hot chocolate, coffee, etc and gave us recommendations afterwards for restaurants, bars, other historic sites to see, etc.
I always to provide positive/constructive criticism, no matter what. Our guide was nice but it was hard to understand him in English: he talked too much and too fast. I am a bilingual traveler, European/IS citizen. We were a group of 3 people and had one of my friends was over 65 years old . We never stopped for more than a few minutes or even had the chance to grab a bottle of water. The tour pace was too fast. In a 3 hr tour it would be better to focus in less topics and enjoy the views a bit more: and at least have a 15 min break. It is too bad that the guide didn’t say much about the Jewish neighborhood ( we missed important highlights according to one of my friends that visited Prague before). I want to finish with a positive note: the guide was pleasant and showed us beautiful buildings and told us anecdotes. Thank you!
Stephen our tour guide was very informative and told us lots about Prague. It was a great way to start our trip. We found out about the main places to visit and lots of facts. The tour was fast paced and certainly worth doing.
Martina was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about the history on all aspects of the tour, cultural, historical right up to current times.
We really need enjoyed this walking tour. Our guide Misha was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history and insight along the way. What really made the tour special was her passion for her country—it shone through in every story and detail she shared. She also had a wonderful energy and sense of humour, which made the tour not only educational but entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It was memorable & engaging.
Fantastic introduction to Prague and history of the Czech Republic. Jan the tour guide was excellent, made the tour really interesting and interactive and provided lots of tips and advice on what to see and do during our stay. Great to do on first day of the trip to get our bearings and plan what else was worth doing on our 4 day break.
This is lovely tour with most of the highlights covered. We did this tour on our first morning in Prague, it really helped us get our bearings and gave us an idea of what we wanted to visit and see for the rest of our trip.
Tour 15 Nov 0950 led by Martina. The tour was exactly what we were looking for, included all the important details, went at a pace that everyone could keep up with and gave us options along the way. Can’t recommend it enough, thank you A⭐️
Everything that you need to see in Prague is included in this tour. Our guide was highly professional and gave us useful tips
Anna was such an amazing tour guide that we booked her for the Prague castle tour the following day. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the city and interspersed history with entertaining stories. I would highly recommend this tour!!
The 3 hour tour was not tiring and our guide was very knowledgeable. Only suggestion is that sometimes it was hard to hear her talking. The company could invest in earpieces, then you would be able to hear the tour guide more clearer.
Our guide Martina, had a thoughtful knack at giving everyone just right amount of information about the site we were looking at. This was a great walking tour that had a lot of great information but not rushed and overloaded with data.
Michaela (aka Michelle) was brilliant with difficult wet conditions from outset. Michaela was extremely knowledgeable regarding buildings, their history and sights eg astronomical clock, ensuring our group stayed together and funny. Loved getting my bearings by walking this tour of the Prague Old Town and seeing all the "usual" sights and a few hidden ones too. Tips given for places to eat and where to avoid, if you want a genuine dining experience whilst in Prague.
Great tour. Lots of great information. Very friendly guide. We met in the old town square and ended up at the castle. We discussed history, architecture, art and culture. Highly re
Our guide was super knowledgeable and outgoing…and easy to understand. She was local and knew the little interesting things.
Our guide Michelle was brilliant. She was funny whilst providing information about sites we visited in an entertaining way. She gave us tips too throughout the tour. Such a long history with lots of monuments to visit and get bearings of the beautiful city of Prague.
We really enjoyed it.Plenty of info about the history of the city, lots of laughs, great experience overall. Definitely recommend it. Our guide Vojta was fantastic !
We had the pleasure of having Petra as our tour guide for the 3 hour walking tour of Prague. It ended up being almost 4 hours and we had a great afternoon. Petra provided us with a wealth of information and her stories kept us engaged. Would highly recommend this tour and especially Petra as your tour guide! Wear good walking shoes!
The guide has too much "pick me" moment, I think personal opinion should keep at minimum. Wishing there are more information.
Excellent local guide had a small group the guide was very friendly answered all questions asked explain how to use the transport about being careful with the cobble stones and advised on things to do the umbrella walking tours are a must on any trip advise 1st day to give you a ideas of the area
Misha was fantastic! She had the right mix of humor, facts, and helpful tips to make the three hour tour feel just the right length. Would happily recommend this company to anyone coming to Prague.
This Prague walking tour was part of a Viking Cruises extension. Our guide met us at the hotel at 8:30 AM and took off at high speed so we could ‘distance’ ourselves from another group. We stopped at Wenceslas Square then looped behind the Old Town Square coming out at the Astronomical Clock beside the Christmas Market. Then thru the cobblestone back streets to the Charles Bridge and across to the other side where we had “free time” for a bathroom break, coffee or shopping. Next came a climb down steps and along back streets coming out at a busy intersection with trams and cars. We managed to cross that in two groups then along a side street to a parking lot where we boarded a bus to Prague Castle. We walked into the Castle yard, but the tour did not include entrance to St. Vitus Cathedral, so we stood outside, and she droned on about the historical eras of the structure. Nor was there time for individuals to buy a ticket to enter the church. We hiked back out past the decorative guards on display and onto the bus back to the hotel by 1:30 PM. In a post-Covid world, I have noticed many of the excellent tour guides have found other employment and their replacements are not as good.
Great tour of Charles Bridge and Castle area. Our guide was soft spoken, but we just got closer to her when she spoke. Our guide stood us in front of the outside guards at noon, when that changed. That was fun to experience. She also calculated distance and time for things quite well.. There are MANY guides here. I am impressed that they respectfully keep a distance. I recommend this tour mostly because Praha was quite crowded and so it was enjoyable to have a local navigate with some history. Thanks!
Mentor guide was very knowledgeable. She had tons of great tidbits on the history of Prague. I loved learning about all the details of the clocks. Highly recommend
Amazing tour. Couldn’t have done without it. Gives you a sense of history, politics and key sightseeing places. Gives you interesting details that only a local guide would know. Highly recommended.
Great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting facts about Prague's history as well as its connection with big Hollywood movies!
Old town, the clock and the bridge Guide was very knowledge and the pace was good including time for bathroom breaks
Our guide was informative. He highlighted various historical events that were integral to Prague and the city it has become. The tour was a good pace, at times at a quicker pace to catch sites at their best.
Very informative, help me to understand and get knowledge how to navigate in the city. The tour guide answers questions and explains every detail about the city
This tour was excellent! Well worth the money we paid. Our tour guide, Misha, was very knowledgable, engaging and fun to be around. We were delighted to have her as our guide and we’d recommend her and the company which provided the tour for those travelling to Prague. There was a lot of information covering Prague and Czechia, covering all aspects of history which was eye opening. We were also given time to take photographs and have a break. We didn’t feel rushed at all.
Really enjoyable. You get to see all the main sights if Prague. Our guide was excellent (Martina I think), providing lots of good insights and historical knowledge. Also very friendly
