Great views from the tower and was well worth the 30 minute walk from centre.

Worth a visit. Bit of a trek out of main centre to get to it but trams run frequently and cheap. Tower really good and views spectacular. Restaurant worth a visit even if just for a drink.
It’s quite ugly from outside, and I don’t understand the statues of babies climbing up it. But the views were great. I didn’t stay too long, and don’t think it was entirely worth the money.
Fantastic views of Prague!! Excellent restaurant! Difficult and fun putt putt golf course.
A must see experience and a beautiful wiev over the city. The Food is great and not too expensive
I thought it was cool. There was good views in all directions. I would recommend going on a nice clear day.
This thing is just ugly! A communist designed blight on a mostly beautiful city. I give it two stars just due to historical significance and sheer incongruity. And the babies; the nonsensical, incongruous addition of the babies crawling up the tower is just so surreal as to be mildly fascinating.
I was visiting Prague end of April/early May 2025 won my partner. We were joined by his sister and her husband and explored the city and visited this tourist attraction. Pretty easy to get to using public transport. We arrived early so wasn’t too busy mainly just occupied by a school group. Some interesting bits and nice views. Interesting to see the art work of the babies crawling over the tower. Worth a visit.
Our experience was quite disappointing. When we arrived, we were told that payment was accepted only in cash. After going up to the observation deck, my wife and I couldn’t even have a normal conversation because a staff member was filming some kind of video report and asked us to stay quiet because we were “ruining the recording.” Later we went up to the tower restaurant to have a snack and a drink, only to find out that it was closed for a private event. Of course, nobody had warned visitors about this beforehand. The view itself is not particularly impressive, especially through the dirty windows, and the experience is definitely not worth the €15 ticket price. I would not recommend this place.
Visited in an evening and watched the sunset it was gorgeous. Amazing views and then watching the city come to life with lights after was very pretty.
Amazing views, the experience was unique and interesting, price was ok, the location was clean. Overall we really enjoyed our visit. It is very similar to the one in Berlin.
You get some great views from the observatory although not easy to see some of the more familiar bits on the ground. On the day we visited they were setting up for some kind of corporate event so was busy with staff and you were just in the way. Wasn’t any warning from the ticket desk.
Great views with a lovely bar cafe resteraunt. It is about 20mins from Charles Bridge so we took a taxi (Uber) It was winter and a very cold day so it was a lot quicker. Public transport is available.
First time in Prague and this was a great way to start our visit. It's amazing 360 view of the city. I highly recommend this.
Want a sky high view of Prague then this is the place to come to. No queues, interesting displays on the observation floor, well worth the visit.
Nice 360° view of Prague. Information panels and "screening " about the history of the Tower. By each window, you have information about what landmark you can see. One point down because smudged windows. It doesn't seem to me they are cleared daily. Highly recommended in sunset time
Good all round view of Prague. The observation deck was cool which on a hot day was very much welcome.
Highest tower in Prague! Went on a scorching hot day, loved the air conditioning, it was almost as cold as the reception staff!
Firstly, the tower isn’t well served by public transport, so we got a cab here. After buying our tickets, we took the wrong elevator to the restaurant (just like the people next to us) before coming back down & taking the right lift. Surely half of the visitors here make this mistake. Once up to the top, the views are excellent, though it’s only possible to make out a couple of landmarks from the old town & I couldn’t make out the Charles Bridge at all. There is still something to be said for the views of the rest of Prague, which is viewed nicely from one of several conveniently placed egg chairs. Also, there are giant babies crawling up the side of the tower, which is….interesting.
We hadn't planned to visit the TV tower, but we found we had a spare morning so we took a metro and head out to the tower. The tower is free with the Prague Pass. There's a restaurant and a viewing platform, but we only went to the viewing platform. The 360 views were fantastic and there were really good informative panels, particularly explaining what you could see. It was well worth the visit. One thing that's a bit bizarre is that it's covered/decorated with fibre glass babies! There are some bronze baby statues on the north bank of the river just west of Charles Bridge if you want a closer look.
Staff were very helpful and treated us so well Great food and drinks Perfect day out Recommend everyone goes here in Prague
We tried to pay with a credit card and the young woman at the desk said that it was refused by the bank. So we tried 2 more cards and she said the same thing happened. So we paid with the last cash we had. Later we realized that all of those charges DID go through and she totally scammed us out of over $100. After the fact, we recalled that she was totally trying to get us to try multiple credit cards, obviously she was making some money off of us. Total scam!!!
Really cool, the views are amazing and it's such a unique structure, I did think it was a bit expensive which is the only reason I didn't give five stars but it was a great experience
A good activity with great views of the city. A little out of the way but was cool to see the city from a different perspective.
What a fantastic tower. It was a walk to get there but well worth it. View was amazing. There is a bar and restaurant, in the tower and on the ground.
great tower and views...very enjoyable for an hour. £15 each on the day...very expensive for what it was....as the castle had 4 attractions for the same price that took all day to view.
This was a great way to experience Prague from a different perspective. The views from the top were superb (on a very clear and sunny day) and the building was strangely interesting. The giant babies on the outside were an interesting addition!! The area around the tower was very authentic and quiet compared to the main city and we enjoyed wandering around. Easy to get to using trams from city centre.
Fortunately, we qualified for the 250CZK reduced entrance (full price 300CZK) but even at that level I would say it was overpriced, and the fact that it is cash only almost caused us a problem. I get the impression that they work on the premiss that if you have made your way out to this attraction in Prague 3 then you are likely to pay the money to go up the tower. I’ve given the tower 5 stars (the tower has its own Trip Advisor listing) because I thought architecturally and as an art exhibit it was striking, and worth searching out. But although there are a couple of nice features such as the information wall on the world’s tallest towers and the ability to have a selfie with angel wings will appeal to some, I didn’t think there was enough to justify the entry cost. Fortunately for us we visited just before dusk and virtually had the place to ourselves and were able to see the last of the sunset from the tower. Also, there was only a couple in the relaxation pod room, so no problem to sit in one of these and chill to the sounds. Interesting to see that everyone else in there were sitting in the pods using their mobile phones. I think the concept of “relaxation” wasn’t being fully grasped or understood in some cases. The young girl on reception was very polite and helpful, but then we were the only customers at that time. I’m glad we went, and just to see the tower as a modern-day piece of art is worth it (the ten giant sculptures of babies by the leading Czech artist David Černý crawling all over the outside of the tower are a lot less scary than the ones on the west bank of the river by the same artist). But compared to other towers and attractions in Prague, this one is on the pricey side for what you get.
Amazing views…great experience …I wish I had booked to go for dinner.but I will next time I go.. A must in Prague
Distinctly average. Good views but not cheap. Crazy golf has seen better days, don’t even think it was open. Easy to get to on the metro
Poorest service from a rude and unhelpful desk worker. Cash only made paying tricky. Underwhelming views with difficulty seeing any landmarks after dusk. Definitely not worth the money! Wouldn’t recommend; the tower views in the old town were far superior and far better value.
Fir the price, It’s not wow but a good view to see the city, there are better view points closer to the old town
Short metro ride on line B. Great views if weather is good. Go early! We went in at 10.00 am and waited about 10 mins to enter. When we left at 10.30 the queue was out if the door and the place was packed. This was a weekday.
Good way to see the city and learn about the history of the tower, the restaurant and mini golf looked interesting but didn't have time to try them.
The architecture, the views, the food , and the people were amazing in Prague. They have their own currency but it was easy to exchange money. Our hotel was walking distance to Wenceslas Square, the Astronomical Clock and the Charles Bridge. I would definitely go again.
The tower itself is cool and interesting and the views of the city are amazing. Well worth a visit and really easy to get to on the metro
I really enjoy this kind of architecture so I'd have been happy to go to see it from the outside. The baby sculptures attached to the tower are quite creepy/cool. We did go inside and thought the ticket price was a bit high just for the observation tower, but you get some great views of wider Prague. They could make more of their observation pods and make you feel like you get more for your money by having a museum or other permanent exhibition in there. There are a few bits but nothing great. Mostly it's just seating. It was also very hot up there! They don't sell much in the way of souvenirs either - I certainly would have bought a small replica tower if they had one, but it was pretty much just magnets and bookmarks.
great views as you would expect. but as you are way out from the centre difficult to see the major sights. and at czk300 a little over priced. after all all you do it take some photos and come down. expensive restaurant.
Tour closed to the public due to a private party..... Even though I had checked availability on the web page itself..... Waste of time, lack of friendliness, no consideration or apology
A nice tower with a nice view over Prague, but very unfriendly and unpolite ticket seller. She was rude to us, so... I really hope she only had a bad day. But oitherwise a nice place.
We recently visited the Žižkov Television Tower in Prague and were blown away by the experience! Thanks to the Prague Pass provided by our hotel (courtesy of Czech Inn), our entry was completely free. The view from the observation deck was absolutely incredible - a full 360-degree panorama showcasing the entire city. We were easily able to spot all the major landmarks and get a fantastic feel for Prague's layout. An absolute highlight was that the binoculars didn't require any pesky coins to operate! We could enjoy close-up views of all the city's details without any hassle. While the ticket price of 300 CZK might seem like a consideration, having free access with the Prague Pass made this an absolute no-brainer. The views were truly stunning, and the convenience of the coin-free binoculars was a nice touch. We would highly recommend the Žižkov Television Tower to any visitor to Prague, especially if you have the Prague Pass. The panoramic views are a must-see!
Good way to see Prague as a city. Views were good with clear directions where sights were best seen. Really liked the egg chairs
For starters this is quite far from the centre of Prague and perhaps the fact none of the hop on hop off buses went near it, should have been a sign just not to go! This cost 300czk pp which is roughly £11 pp luckily we had a Prague card so we did only pay 1. incidentally the guy claimed he had to keep our Prague card?!? It is absolutely NOT worth it as the windows aren’t even clean and are all scratched. There are better roof top views in the actual centre of Prague of which you can get up free if you simply just buy a drink!
Nice view, but it is all. Very expensive for the family, not enough seating places in Observatory to stay for longer time. We decided to take lunch in Bistro66, but they choose people which look rich and for us (family on trip in Prague) they had no place. One visit here is more than enough. There are a lot of better and frienly places in Prague.
More expensive than any other Prague attraction. Which is silly. It’s a great view. The hike up to the tower area is epic. If you are not in shape, just say no!
Way overpriced for the impaired views. Are there amazing 360-degree views of the city here? Yes. The problem is the curved and double paned glass that has bubbles and waves in the tint so you can’t really get any good photos and some of the views are blurred due to this as well.
The experience itself was very good, seeing the whole of Prague from above. However we were told we were unable to use the restaurant or bar on the floor below. This used to be a cafe several years ago from what I recall. Being somewhat of a rebellious nature, we did get off on the floor below and enjoyed a lovely cocktail, whilst still taking in the beautiful views. Overall a morning well spent, despite the long walk.
Ideal for people who have additional days in Prague. I would not recommend it as a must see. The view from tower towards Prague city is pretty neat. It’s not that bad neither it’s that great. But definitely it’s well maintained, neat and clean.
T%his tower is fantastic. It is set in its own park. There is a restaurant at the bottom called Miminoo. Once you pay, there are two lifts. One for the restaurant on the 4th floor and the other for the observation deck on the third. You can see the entire city laid out around you. Even though we are in a large building getting close to the windows still made us nervous. We are not used to be this high up in the air. In the viewing longe there are three large rooms. They contain art, bubble seating and free telescopes. We took far to many pictures., some of which are below.
Okay. This was difficult as spent our 5 days in Prague. Enjoyed every attraction apart from this one. This was very expensive all of the other attractions were around 150kc however this was double the price. Great views but not much else. Weird seeing the climbing babies Only positive this was the only tower in Prague with no lifts. Beautiful city you do need to explore the city. Perhaps not going up the television tower
