Prague Traditional Chimney Cake Trdelník Making Workshop

Very interesting and great fun making our own chimney cakes. Choose your own flavours. Made the traditional way, I would recommend. Mika was a good teacher.

This was so much fun! Alisa guided us through all the steps and taught us about the history behind the pastry. The dough was premade, but the recipe was provided to us at the end so we can make it at home if we want!

Quite fun and easier than I thought it would be! Our head chef, Dana, was very patient and spent time, as needed, with each participant. If she hadn’t told us, I would not have guessed she was hearing impaired. Thanks for the recipe, although I don’t think I could recreate at home!

We tried this workshop with my 13y old daughter and we absolutely loved it! Our instructors Kate & Lucy were incredibly kind, polite and fun, and fluent in English. As soon as you walk into the workshop you are enveloped in the most delicious smell of cinnamon and sugar. The place was clean and everything beautifully prepared for our class. Making the cakes was not that difficult and the cakes themselves were absolutely divine! A lot better than what you get on the streets of Parque. And my daughter has had a few in her life and can tell the difference in quality. We will do it again as we are in Prague frequently.

We had amazing experience. Lucy and Miki are just fabulous. And the result was yummy as well. Would definitely recommend for a family fun in Prague.

One of the highlights of our Prague trip! We were lucky to have a 1:1 session with Miki, who was so entertaining, patient and engaging throughout. We learnt how to make traditional trdelník, had such a fun time, and they tasted amazing too. Would definitely recommend!
