Sebastian was an excellent tour guide, funny and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
Radovan is a great tour guide. Not only did he have command of important information for each of the stops along the tour. He listened closely to all questions and answered them thoughtfully. I highly recommend taking this tour especially if you can get Radovan as your guide.
Our guide was George ( in his western name) he is funny, very nice and led the tour perfectly. Warmly recommended
This tour was a great way to get introduced to the city. Our guide Vitek was terrific — history major who was super knowledgeable and interesting, with a genuine love for his city and a wry sense of humor. There were just six of us, so a perfect size, and much smaller than most of the other groups we saw. So glad we did this one.
The tour was absolutely fantastic. Our guide was Matyas and he was perfect. We really enjoyed our time on this tour and we especially appreciate our tour guide who made the tour both educational and entertaining at the same time. Not sure if you get to pick your guide but if you do definitely pick Matyas.
Matyas guided a small group of us (11) across the Charles Bridge and around the old part of Prague. We were so happy to see so much! Matyas is friendly and knowledgeable about the history. He was sensitive to my husband’s needs to sit from time to time and always positioned his pauses for talks in a place where my husband could sit for a minute. It was perfect. Not too long, not too short.
Josef gave one of the best tours we’ve been on in years!! Not only does he know his history but he shares it in a way that adds valuable perspective and context. Being about 6 foot 8 he’s easy to find and follow and he made an effort to speak to each of us which created a great group dynamic. We’ll return first sure and look forward to taking any tour Josef gives!! We rate him a 10 out of 10!!!
We did the full day tour, and Agata was our morning guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and just the sweetest person. We saw all of the Old Town highlights and learned bits of history without it being overwhelming. Agata was so passionate and even had personal connections to the history. Excellent tour - don’t miss it!
I booked the wrong date for our tour but the company re-organized our tour for later in the same day and we had a wonderful tour with our knowledgeable guide George. George was professional and entertaining. He answered our questions patiently, adding additional facts in response. Very enjoyable and worthwhile. George, thank you!
Lucie is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
The tour greatly exceeded my expectations, as I’d already walked many of the same areas over the preceding days using guidebooks. But Johana, who is a history student, had a store of knowledge and interesting facts, that made the area come alive. Fascinating
We had the tour with Jarda. He was an amazing, enthusiastic guide and did a great tour!
Josef 10 was our guide. He really MADE the tour. He was excellent!!! Prague is such a nice place.
This tour was amazing!! It is my first time in Prague and the tour did not dissapoint! It was the amount of time too! Josef was my tour guide. He was amazing! He was super friendly, honest, and knowledgeable! You could tell he knew what he was talking about as well as how much he likes doing tours!
I was disappointed with our tour guide. She was fine with the basic history but had little understanding of the religious history. She wrongly said missionaries prayed to statues on the bridge, she said the column to Mary in the main square was a tribute for surviving the plague which is not true, and she did not even point out the 27 white crosses in the sidewalk near the clock tower which commemorate the Protestants who were killed there for their faith. Her info at the Jon Hus memorial on the Bethlehem Chapel was also slightly misleading. I’m sure each guide is a little different but beyond those things I also wished she would have given a better sense of how to understand the layout of Old Town vs New Town, etc.
We learned about the overall history of Prague and the Czek Republic while taking an easy stroll over Charles Bridge and through Old Town. It was a relaxing way to see and learn about the city.
This was a great tour to take for a morning to understand the history of Prague. Right from the 1100’s to just after WW2 it covers a lot of ground figuratively in a tight area. Adam was our guide and he was exceptionally knowledgeable and easy to understand. I would highly recommend this tour (and Adam). Now I need to think about what I learned.
A perfect walking tour - a small group, an intelligent and responsive guide who didn't patronise but gave us really good, accurate and succinct history. A respectful and inclusive account of Prague's history and a really good insight into its culture. Thanks Jakub!
The tour had the perfect balance of history, myth and fact. The guide, Jakub, was engaging, entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. He took us to see some amazing places and his explanations we just perfect. Brought the city alive. Thank you so much.
Adam was an exceptional guide for our private tour of Prague. His deep knowledge of the city’s history brought every stop to life, and we walked away with a much richer understanding of Prague’s past and culture. He was friendly, engaging, and always ready with thoughtful insights that helped us appreciate details we would have otherwise missed. We truly enjoyed our time with him and highly recommend Adam to anyone looking for a meaningful and memorable experience in Prague.
We really enjoyed our walking tour with Johana. She met our small group of 11, and we began exploring the area from the west side of Charles Bridge through Old Town to the Astronomical Clock. Along the way, Johana shared the stories and history behind many of the sights and was happy to answer all of our questions. For many of us, this was our first visit to Prague, and she did a great job helping us get oriented and understand more about the city and its history. The tour lasted about two hours but didn’t cover a huge amount of distance, so it was a very comfortable and enjoyable way to get introduced to Prague. We really enjoyed it and would recommend the tour, especially for first-time visitors.
Sebastian was an amazing tour guide. He was equally funny and informative and took time to share his own personal experiences as well as the history. Favourite part was when he showed us the saint who pees on the city!!
Informative, fun, funny w/ incredible Czech history back stories woven throughout. Matyas deep knowledge of Czech and Prague history along with his ability to answer every single question was amazing. I recommend asking for him when you book!
The tour was great and a perfect way to get to know Prague. It lasted about two hours at a steady walk. Adam our guide was absolutely brilliant. He was very knowledgeable, had amazing English, and could answer any questions we had (he also had so many recommendations of other places to visit and restaurants etc).
Our tour with Michal was perfect! Michal is very knowledgeable, showing us parts of Prague, accompanied by the historical significance, that we never would have found on our own. Thanks Michal!
I would leave 6 stars if I could. Michael was professional, intelligent, funny. Very knowledgeable about the history. He has been doing tours for many years and it is very clear because the tour was excellent. Ask for Michael if you can
Thank you John for all the history and tips. Highly recommend this tour as a good introduction to Prague.
We had a great time exploring with Sebastian. He was knowledgeable and fun! He is a great guide to book with.
A lovely stroll around Prague’s highlights. Matyas had some wonderful and quite moving stories to tell and was extremely knowledgeable about the history and the areas that we walked through. The walk was around 2 hours but felt a nice gentle pace with lots of stops to observe and talk about the interesting architecture or places of historic significance or interest. I would definitely recommend this tour and thanks again Matyas for making this such an enjoyable day.
Matyas did a great job! He has a great knowledge about the histrory of the city and even shared a list with places worth visiting outside the main tourist spots with us.
Adam did a great job! Lots of explanation and history!
Our walking tour with, Jachym Jr, was a splendid way to spend our first evening in Prague. Jachym is a wealth of knowledge on the history of Prague and all its royalty as well as modern day issues. I highly recommend this tour. You won't be disappointed with Jachym as your guide!
We had a great tour. Saw lots of interesting places, learned a lot of the history, and had some great photo opportunities. Vitek was a great tour guide, went at a good pace. Recommend wearing good shoes since much of the walking is done on cobblestone.
This tour was fantastic! Johana was an excellent guide and she took us to see the best parts of the Old Town. It was a nice small tour, with only about 8 people, which made it really nice to get to know people and hear the stories. I would highly recommend!
The Old Town Highlights & Hidden Gems tour is excellent if you want to learn many historical facts about Prague and the Czech Republic. Our guide, Joseph, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and full of useful tips and recommendations for further sightseeing in Prague.
I liked it very much!! Elisabeth was very patiënt for questions an knowledgable.
On our first ever trip to Prague we were looking for a good introduction to the. city and we had an excellent experience with Jakob! While we covered a number of key historical events during our walk, a unique part of our experience were the beverage and food stops at a pub and restaurant. Jakob was highly knowledgeable of Prague’s history and gave us plenty of ideas for places to see (and eat!). It’s not a textbook narrative following someone carrying a colored banner, but a fun conversation with a friend as he shows you around his city. Wonderful!
George was an excellent guide. He even woke up early to do a private tour during the heatwave! Very knowledgeable and funny.
George was a fantastic guide, knew his stuff and made the experience truly entertaining. Thanks for starting early for us before the heat and crowds set in.
George was a fantastic guide! He very graciously agreed to meet us early to do our Old Town highlights and Hidden Gems tour and was very knowledgeable, interesting, and had a great sense of humour. Would definitely recommend booking and asking for George
Thank you, George! A great tour and thank you for your flexibility today. A very interesting tour with a knowledgeable guide.
George was amazing! Very relaxed and knowledgeable!
Mathias was a really friendly and informative guide. He walked at a good pace kept everybody engaged and about highlights and interesting facts. He was happy to give a suggestions and we had a great time.
Erik was an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. He was warm and welcoming, making it easy to engage in conversation. I really appreciated how he made the tour interactive. I would highly recommend going on this tour with Erik!
Alen was very knowledgeable of the local sites and the history of Prague and the Jewish Quarter. She was cheerful and watched out that her tour members did not stray or get left behind. We would take her tour again.
This highly engaging and informative walking tour was the perfect start to our weekend in Prague. Our brilliant, humorous, and knowledgeable guide, Michal, delivered excellent storytelling that seamlessly connected the city's medieval past to the present day. The route was incredibly comprehensive, taking us through the beautiful Prague Lesser Town, across the iconic Charles Bridge, and straight into the bustling Old Town Square to witness the mechanical marvel of the Astronomical Clock. We also explored the poignant history of the Jewish Quarter and discovered some fantastic hidden gems along the way that most tourists miss. The pace of the 2 hour walk was absolutely perfect, and Michal made sure everyone, in our small group of 9, felt included and involved from start to finish. I highly recommend this as a first stop for anyone visiting the city! Worth every penny of the £26 ticket price! Thank you Michal 😊
Michal was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and ensured everyone on the tour was included.
Our guide Anel was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. The pace of the trip was relaxed, but we still got to see everything. Her knowledge of the town and the history was deep and thorough. I enjoyed my day with her. She was extraordinary.
Really good tour it was really interesting! Seb was our guide and he was amazing.
