Best tour!! Highly recommend. A bit rainy the day we went but that couldn’t dampen thi tour. Incredibly informative.
Robert, our tour guide was awesome! He was knowledgeable and personable. He went our pace with frequent stops on our part to take pictures! Highly recommend this tour! Request Robert!
This fantastic walking tour was easily the best thing we did in Prague. Our tour guide Amalka is such a star — she’s a born and bred Prague local with a fascinating story of her own, so walking with her is like seeing the city and its history through her eyes. She’s super smart and friendly and our tour group was very small so felt like plenty of chances to ask questions and converse. Would take another tour with her any time!
We took this private tour the morning after we arrived in Prague and found it extremely helpful in setting a foundation to build on as we spent an additional 3 days in the city. Amalka was an amazing and entertaining guide who blended historical knowledge with family stories. We learned so much and would highly recommend this tour.
Our Guide Valerie was outstanding. She did a Tour for my wife on a rainy day. It was great. She has great knowledge of the city of Prague and the Czech nation. She is very nice and will take you to see whatever interests you. We highly recommend this tour!
Excellent guide who was able to show us everything from a local perspective! We saw so many places which we otherwise wouldn’t have …
This tour made our entire trip! Brilliant tour guide Vadim took us on a perfectly-paced walking tour filled with just the right amount of fun, history, and recommendations. He pointed us towards a restaurant at the end of our tour that we'd never have chosen ourself, but it ended up being one of the highlights. He read us perfectly! Will be choosing Insight Cities for more tours in the future.
Our guide Vladim was amazing! So much knowledge of the city. We learned so much. Also very friendly and funny. Thank you for a great experience!
I traveled to Prague with an American student group and booked a tour with Insight Cities. We were lucky to have Bonita show us around. The company is easy to work with and always answered very promptly and thoroughly. Bonita was flexible and offered to meet us at our hotel. She showed us some of the most beautiful sites in Prague, both on- and off-the-beaten path, all the while giving us fascinating history and facts. Prague has so many gorgeous but hidden locations, so please book with Insight Cities to discover all the city has to offer!
We have been on many walking tours in cities around the world, and Vadim is one of the best tour guides we have experienced. He shared his knowledge of the city with passion and enthusiasm and we learned so much of the history and architecture of the city that we could not have learned from any guidebook. We enjoyed a wonderful morning with great discussion and came away feeling we had a wonderfully intimate knowledge of Prague and its history. The tour was a good pace, we covered a lot of ground but not rushed at all. And taught me to always look up for the unexpected! We highly recommend this tour for your Prague visit! Thank you, Vadim.
Vadim is incredible at making history come alive and making you feel connected to the past of Prague. We had an amazing time listening to him and it was great hearing him connect the history to the things we were interested in. His enthusiasm and personality is wonderful and I highly recommend his tours for anyone visiting prague!
The last thing we wanted to do on our honeymoon in Prague was walk around with a guidebook in our hands. Our guide Bonita let us enjoy the splendour of the city while sharing her expert insights into history, art and architecture. She opened doors to stunning cafes, arcades and churches we never would have found on our own, and she tailored the tour to our specific interests.
My wife and I, despite being long time residents of Prague, decided to join our friends from the USA on this tour. And we are thankful we did. We were amazed at how much unique insight and trivia our guide (Vadim) provided during the tour. If you want to go beyond what the guidebooks tell you, go with Insight Cities.
Vadim is the best tour guide we ever had. We've got to know many historic places in Prague from medieval to post-communist times and discovered many details we would have missed otherwise. It is worth your while taking the tour even if you have been to Prague before.
Wonderful tour! Very informed and engaging experience exploring Prague's monuments, architecture, art and much more. Not just a guided walk through the city, but contextualised journey through Prague, Czech and European history. Honestly one of the best tours I've ever done, I learned a lot despite being a Czech national living in Prague for the past few years. If you're looking for a tour of this beautiful city that will be fun and truly informed, Bonita and Vadim are the best choice.
Excellent tour! My guide showed me historically and architecturally significant sites on every block, and also knows where to find the best beer!
Great tour! Vadim knows so much about Prague's history, we learnt a lot and spent a great time walking aroung the streets of the city! I especially enjoyed the whole story about Jan Juss, fascinating.
Enjoyable, informed tour Bonita gave us a terrific, very informed tour of Prague's Old and New Towns and some sites in the Jewish Town. It was very enjoyable. We will book with Insight Cities tours again when we visit Berlin.
We see our city with new eyes after our tour with Bonita. As an expatriate, I wanted to improve my own ability to host family and friends planning to visit us in Prague after the long separations of this crisis year. I feel pretty prepared to act as a better guide myself after this detailed journey through Prague's different centuries and architecture.
Vadim and Bonita (and their company Insight Cities Prague) are really the best tour guides I have ever come across. They have so much detailed and specialised knowledge and make every street and building come alive with their stories. I did this tour with Vadim and it was such a pleasure to see the city through his eyes. I have done several of this company's tours now and am often recommending them to friends.
Our 3 hour Prague walking tour with Vadim was very good. Vadim was very knowledgeable, very personable, and very easy to understand. The tour ended up just being the two of us with Vadim so really a private tour! A walking tour is a great way to experience a new city versus just walking around on our own. Would highly recommend!
Do not hesitate to book with this marvelous tour company- Insight Cities Prague! My husband and I can not say enough good things about our experience, especially our wonderful tour guide Peter. It was immediately clear our knowledgeable and enthusiastic he was to share the stories and history of his City of Prague. We were mesmerized by the tour and his insights. At the end of the tour, I wanted to immediately ask Peter to join us for dinner. He was that good and made us feel as if we were old friends.
The best tour to have a great discovery of Prague in such an original way. I have learnt a lot with Vadim not only about the history of the city which is passionating but also about how to look at the monuments differently.
Who knew anything about Prague? Not me. What a great introduction to the city. Filled with history, details and stories. Thanks for a great tour Bonita!
Vadim is amazing, his knowledge of cultural, historical, architectural Prague as well as religious history and world literature as it relates to Prague is not to be missed. Being ill and on my way down the health rabbit hole, Vadim was considerate and thoughtful of our needs. We may have disagreed some on Freud, Vadim's points being far more literate than mine. Prague was a total eye-opener, on my bucket list, and this was the perfect way to start us off. Wish I hadn't been too sick to get to he Jewish part. This clearly means another trip!!!!! Thank you Vadim! Anne B
The company was named insightcities.com. We experienced a wonderful and informative tour of Prague through this company. Our guide was Vadim. He taught us so much history and culture of Prague. His knowledge was amazing. Would highly recommend this tour. You can custom make to what you would like to see but would go on his recommendations.

We were surprised to find out that we were the only 2 on this tour, although it just worked out that way. Our guide was actually the owner of the tour company and was American so of course there was no language barrier. We started in Old Town and made our way to New Town. Our guide touched on religious issues Counter-Reformation and a lot about the history of the Czech people and why the city grew the way that it did.

We focused a bit more than my wife and I would have liked on 20th century buildings. As a matter of fact, we went into only one building that was not a 20th century building. We would have appreciated more of the more distant history of the city. Our guide was pretty free with her opinions on American politic. This was fine with me, but some might find this a bit much.

All in all though, I would recommend this tour as it is very informative and personal.

Sunday we finished with the exciting new city tour Prague, the Iller guide as usual fantastic☆
Best city tour, ever! Wadim Erent's tour was illuminating. I had been to Prague several times, but his tour exposed Prague layer by layer. I saw old tourist classics again with different eyes and saw many buildings, monuments and works of art for the first time. Prague in the tension between the two major Christian denominations, between Rennesaince and Baroque - time flew by. We had contacted at very short notice and received a tour that suited our interests so well individually. For those who fancy history and architecture with a little more depth than usual, always told funny and vividly, the tour is an absolute must. Wadim is fluent in English and Russian. Those who are saddle-proof in either language will enjoy the tour.
Beautiful city with old part looking medieval, powder tower, stores of famous designers, the clock with hourly movements. The city is full of tourists, even in winter. The Jewish Quarter has a synagogue. Unforgettable tour.
