He was very knowledgeable. He also has a good sense of humor. He encouraged you to form your own opinions on the structures before providing his own. He also took us to the most around the castle which most guides oversee.

Itinerary
A striking symbol of medieval Prague, the Powder Gate once served as one of the original city gates. With its dark, gothic façade and towering presence, it was used to store gunpowder in the 17th century—hence the name. Today, it stands as a reminder of the city's fortified past, welcoming visitors into the heart of the Old Town with an air of mystery and history.
A masterpiece of Cubist architecture, the House of the Black Madonna stands out with its sharp angles and unique design. Built in 1912, it's a rare gem of early 20th-century modernism in Prague. Named after the baroque statue of the Black Madonna on its corner, the building now houses the Czech Museum of Cubism. It's a must-see for art lovers, blending Prague’s historical charm with avant-garde flair.
Týn Yard is a charming, historic square that transports you to another era. Once a bustling marketplace, it's now a tranquil space where you can marvel at the medieval architecture and soak in the serene atmosphere.
Dominating Prague's Old Town Square, the Church of Our Lady Before Týn is a Gothic masterpiece with its twin spires piercing the sky. Its dramatic façade and intricate details conceal a stunning interior with richly decorated chapels and a breathtaking altar.
Prague’s lively Old Town Square is a historic hub surrounded by colorful buildings and iconic landmarks. Featuring the Astronomical Clock, it’s a perfect spot to immerse yourself in the city’s vibrant atmosphere and rich architectural heritage.
On the Old Town Hall, Prague’s Astronomical Clock boasts a striking design with three main dials and intricate zodiac symbols. Each hour, mechanical figures, including the Twelve Apostles, perform a captivating display. According to legend, the clockmaker was blinded by the city officials to prevent him from creating another masterpiece, ensuring the clock’s uniqueness.
Marian Square, is a historic hub in Prague’s Old Town, surrounded by notable buildings like the City Hall. The nearby Klementinum, with its stunning Baroque architecture, and the Prague City Library
The Klementinum is a historic complex in Prague renowned for its stunning Baroque architecture. Its highlight is the breathtaking Library Hall, adorned with ornate ceilings and historic bookshelves. Once a Jesuit university, it was a center of scholarly activity, where renowned astronomer Johannes Kepler conducted research
Spanning the Vltava River, Charles Bridge is a must-see monument in Prague. This medieval stone bridge, built in the 14th century, connects the Old Town with the Lesser Quarter. Adorned with statues of saints, it offers stunning views of Prague Castle and is a favorite spot for tourists, especially at sunrise or sunset.
Located near the Charles Bridge, this ever-evolving canvas has become a symbol of resistance and hope, reflecting Prague’s rich history of political activism and artistic expression.

It was amazing!!! Highly recommend and it is the best in the city
He was amazing! He was super engaging, informative, funny, kind, and chose great spots along the route with minimal tourists! He went at a great pace; was flexible to stop and talk more about all the stops about the history of Prague; and played an important song on his guitar about Soviet occupation in the Czech Republic. I loved how he also chose spots away from the tourists displaying important Czech history and culture. He gave us recommendations on what to see next, where to buy souvenirs, where to eat, etc. I learned a lot! Highly recommend for anyone looking to do a tour in Prague!
Tour guide had amazing energy the entire 3 hour tour. He made sure to connect individually with people and even memorize our names. He made sure we had time to look around during the tour and take photos. He had a great sense of humor and managed all 20 of us without problem.

Marek was such a great tour guide! He gave us so much information but kept it fun and easy to follow. In just a few hours I felt like I got to see so many of the important sights in Prague without it feeling rushed. He also pointed out little details I probably would’ve missed on my own, which I really appreciated. I walked away feeling like I learned a lot about the city and its culture. The tour was so informative and interesting! A great walking tour of true icons of Prague! He was so kind and genuine! It’s a must do tour in Prague for anyone who wants to know more.
Marek was an amazing tour guide and truly so informative about all things Prague. He gave an in depth tour of the beautiful city from a local’s perspective making it less stressful when seeing the more touristy areas. Every part of the tour was thoughtfully curated and kept our whole group engaged. He gave recommendations of local food spots and activities to do in our free time. He was punctual, kept our group organized, and everyone felt comfortable with him to ask questions and clarifications about the history of Prague. Thank you Marek for such a wonderful introduction to the city!
Marek was super knowledgeable about everything we saw! He gave super interesting details about the architecture and the buildings we saw. He's funny and a great guitar player! Definitely recommend taking his tour. Loved him!
In March 2025 I had the privilege of being on two tours with Marek! The first was for a business group of which I was a member. That tour was so informative and so well timed ("well-timed" is sort of an inside joke! Take the tour and you'll see what I mean!) that I engaged Marek to do a more extended tour for me and my wife. We had a blast! Prague is amazing; the things we learned were copious, and Marek was fun and delightful. We wanted a soda that we had heard about, and he found a very cool and kinda obscure place to take a break, sit down, and get one! We hope to return to Prague; and if we do we will definitely contact Marek for another tour or two, perhaps one outside of the city.
I had lots of fun on the tour with Marek. He has a deep knowledge about Prague and knows the wider context, too (he is an academic geographer!) – I thoroughly recommend having him as a guide. A charming guy who will tell you all the Czech insider info. Cheers, Marek. Thanks
