A very informative and moving toward the guide was very knowledgeable, spoke good English and was very pleasant. She was obviously very passionate about the subject.

The tour guide was very informative and answered any questions. She spoke very nice English and was very pleasant. She showed us all four synagogues and the cemetery.
This was a remarkable tour. Peter was an extraordinary guide. A valuable, edifying and soul enhancing couple of hours.
Excellent overview about the Jewish experience in the Czech Republic. The tour guide showed a great sensitivity and care toward the subject matter. Friendly and informative tour guide.
There was a lot of information to absorb in just 4 hours. Our guide, Peter, was incredibly knowledgeable and he is an excellent teacher because of his passion for the subject matter. He kept our group engaged and was very personable.
Peter, what’s our guide, and was outstanding. He really knew his stuff, and interacted with everybody. The tour wouldn’t be the same without him.
Very interesting and historical. Cemetery was very inspiring, synagogues were amazing and the museum was incredible. Left solemn and sad.
This is one of the best tours we have ever experienced. Pedro, our wonderful guide, could hardly get out the information he wanted to share with us fast enough. There was so much we learned about the centuries old history of Judaism in Prague-the good, the bad, and the ugly. He was informative, yet passionate.. We especially appreciated the way he personalized so many stories.. He navigated us through the synagogues and through the streets with great skill and aplomb. At the end of the tour, our group was sobered yet uplifted at the same time. We cannot say enough, good things about this tour. Highly recommended.
Our guide was outstanding!.. of history professor quality… .. the length and content of the tour was excellent!
Packed full of information and interest. Peter was a fount of knowledge, which he relayed engagingly and enthusiastically.
First of all Steve was awesome. Second of all having a headset to listen to him share the history was very helpful. I cannot recall if the headset is mentioned on your tour highlights but it should be. Steve was attentive, knowledgeable, articulate and overall excellent. The tour was set at a good pace. We even took him up on a restaurant recommendation which was 👍👍 Overall, a great tour. Highly recommend
We had an excellent tour guide, he was knowledgeable and easy to understand. Would recommend this tour that I booked on Viator. It was perfect for learning about the Jewish people. Synagogues were fascinating.
Jana was an amazing and passionate guide!! So knowledgeable. Perfect amount of information to keep it engaging. The tour was perfect. Highly recommend. Unfortunately, there were extremely long queues today which delayed us. May have been due to the tours closed yesterday due to a holiday. Some guides representing the same company had priority access to the sites to cut the lines, but our guide did not. Fascinating Jewish history!
Nice educational tour of the historic Jewish Quarter. Wonderful and knowledgeable guide.
A very interesting and fascinating tour of the Jewish Quarter. We had a wonderful guide who explained so much about the sites as well as the history of Jewish life in Prague.
A must see. Wonderful guide, very informative as well as thoughtful. The significance of this history of this story must remain alive in all of us.
This was an excellent tour with a brilliant tour guide . Really opened our eyes to the life and suffering of the Jewish community in Prague . Well worth doing !
This was an excellent overview of the history of the Jewish community in Prague. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and also very entertaining. Overall a very good experience!
Our guide Steve was wonderful and fun! Very knowledgeable - making the visits to the synagogues interesting and fun! Definitely recommend a visit here!
Our guide Peter was great. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed the tour very much! Great value for the time and money. Will highly recommend
The guide was Steve with Get Your Guide. Steve was ill informed, insensitive, lacking in basic Jewish knowledge and disrespectful. The tour was over 100.00 Canadian each. I'm happy to pay if I don't feel sick following. He should leave the culturally specific tours to others who know the culture even if they aren't part of the culture they are presenting. I could barely focus on the layered history before because his errors and omissions distracted me. I was so upset, I thought I might literally throw up. Jewish history is so sensitive. Please, please, know your stuff before taking on such a role.
Steve was an excellent guide. The only drawback was the length of the queue at the Old New synagogue.
It’s very interesting. So much history. The synagogues were inspiring. The Spanish synagogue was beautiful. Our guide was so knowledgeable with great stories, and a great sense of humor!
This was a really good and really sobering tour of the Jewish quarter of Prague. Our guide was knowledgeable, but her English was often difficult to understand, so we sometimes did not catch what she was saying. Still, the tour was very good, and I would highly recommend it.
Outstanding tour! Our guide did a fabulous job. Lots of great information and a great sense of humor.
So informative! Pete was a wonderful tour guide, clearly loves his job and enjoys educating others with his knowledge. His voice was loud enough hear and understand. He has a great sense of humor and engaged everyone in his group. He made the tour interesting and fun!
Our guide, Peter, was fantastic - extremely knowledgeable, humorous and personable. He took the time to share history and interesting facts as he took us through the neighborhood, temples and cemetery.
Lot of walking but very informative. Guide was extremely knowledgeable. We were given ample time in each of the museums/synagogs.
I have traveled extensively and often use Viator tours. David was the best guide we have ever had. He was funny, organized, and extremely knowledgeable. This is a must do your!
Excellent tour through the Jewish quarter. Learned a lot and the synagogs were all very beautiful! Unfortunately our group was very big so it felt quite rushed getting everyone through security at each location and the tour ended up being three hours.
Very comprehensive and moving three hours. Guide was excellent and spoke perfect English (born and raised in Canada). The quality of the audio equipment was the best I had ever experienced on a tour. Recommend this activity.
It was fantastic. Our guide was excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable and provided great information and insight into the different aspects of the tour.
Our guide Peter was very knowledgeable and engaging with the group. The relayed history and personal anecdotes made the tour personal and moving. Visits to the museum, cemetery, and synagogues were amazing. Very glad we took this tour.
It visits the most popular stops in the Jewish quarters; many stops to rest but has walking that explained whole area
It was an informative tour and I truly enjoyed our guide, Peter (he’s very funny!) Please note that they pack a lot in this 2+ hour tour (6 synagogues) and so there’s not much time left to linger for photo ops, aside from the last stop (Spanish synagogue). You’ll need to be quick with snapping pics when the opportunity presents itself
Martina was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. She was so friendly and answered everyone's questions.
The guide, Peter, provided an engaging presentation of the complex history of Jewish culture in Prague through his perspective as an Orthodox Jew … who has lived his life in this city and has seen great change. There are many sites to see and it is very interesting, so the fast paced tour provides an overview and offers plenty of opportunity for areas of individual exploration after the tour.
Our guide ( Jana) was superb; deeply knowledgeable and passionate about her subject. We know a lot more about the Jews in Central Europe as a result.
Jana was the perfect tour guide. She shared the history and culture or the Jewish Quarter with passion and style. We all learned a lot and highly recommend this tour.
Steve was an excellent tour guide we had a group of 16 in our group and we all had headsets so it was great to be able to hear the commentary. This is a pretty deep dive into the Jewish history in Prague. A great pre tour for us as we are going to Terezín later this week.
Our guide Peter was excellent. His history knowledge really gave us an excellent insight into Prague. The tour was very interesting and is highly recommended.
Our tour guide was Peter from Prague and he was extremely engaging and entertaining towards our kids ( and the group at large)- laughing, quizzing, and teaching them about Pragues deep history. He took the time to explain the rich history of the Jewish quarter, made recommendations of stores, restaurants and other locations to visit. Overall it was a GREAT and memorable experience.
Peter was really amazing ! Very knowledgeable and funny Keeps it interesting Very good itinerary !!!
The tour guide was very informative! He spoke of the socio economic contributions made by the Jews before and after World War 11.
Truly enjoyed getting into the details of Jewish history in Prague. Guide was thorough and full of information.
This was a disappointing tour. The guide had only the script and was not at all connected to the city or the Jewish quarter. Other than a rehearsed script, he had no information. I also didn’t like that the tour ended at the Spanish synagogue with the guide leaving. In our case, they had a security issue, and we weee left confused without a guide. Would not recommend.
We enjoyed the tour and learned a lot in the process. Our guide David was really exceptional in his knowledge, sensitivity and engagement. We’d highly recommend the tour and get David as a guide if you can.
Well worth the experience.David was an excellent tour guide who went at pace that was helpful for really elderly people. Very knowledgeable.
Covered a lot of material and sites. Guidelines was very good Synagogue tours were terrific. Would recommend
Our tour with Peter was one of the brightest spots in our terrific week in Prague. While the city's beauty and culture have no trouble speaking for themselves, the context Peter added to this important corner of Prague's history made our whole experience click. Our group was a perfect size, maybe ten or twelve people, so it was easy for us to get close to Peter to hear the stories he shared. We were very grateful for Peter's clear communication and easygoing manner, which kept everyone equally engaged, including our seven-year-old (the only kiddo on this particular tour). We are so happy we booked this tour and highly recommend it for anyone looking to learn more about this fascinating part of Prague's history!
