Exceptional guide with perfect English skills. Julia has a wealth of knowledge and shares it willingly with everyone. Her carefully chosen menu options are varied, tasty and VERY authentic. She gives information about the food, the food culture of this country, traditions and cultural specialties. This was truly exceptional in every sense of the word. Advice: come hungry! There is a lot of tasting to do! BRAVO and thanks to Julia!

We had a delightful tour with Saul, a knowledgeable and engaging young man. The tour is out of the touristy area into the real neighborhoods of the city. He has a good relationship with the restaurant owners and the food selection was delicious.

Saul did an excellent job of integrating the cultural aspects of Prague along with the delicious food. We had a nice variety of food from Prague and each was well chosen and tasty.

We had a great time! The food was so good and we were able to see a different part of Prague than we visited on other tours.

Julia was a great guide and very knowledgeable. She brought us to several establishments that were in a beautiful and quieter residential area away from the crowded tourist areas. Sep. 4, 2026 Our group of 12 extended family members enjoyed a wonderful food tasting tour led by Julia. We are all from the United States (her English was excellent) and she introduced us to foods we never would have known about without her. We visited four food venues and enjoyed each of them. There was plenty of food and lots of good history as well. We were grateful for her time and her expertise. Definitely worth your time and money!

This tour was great!!! A great mix of comfort Czech food and drink. Saul made it the great tour it was. He was knowledgeable, funny and thoughtful about our comments and question. I do recommend this!

Julia was one of the best guides we’ve ever had! She is so passionate about what she does! She took us through a typical food day here in Prague! We stopped at five different places which were all amazing! All of the stops were local restaurants where we didn’t see any tourists! You definitely get enough to eat and drink so save your appetite for the tour! We did the night tour and it was perfect!

The entire tour was great. Our guide Dimitri was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. There were definitely no awkward moments during the tour.

A great experience. This well-planned tour took us to five places in the Vinohrady area. Julia is an impressive tour guide that provided us with cultural and historical context for the food we were enjoying. The pace of the evening did not feel too slow nor too rushed. It seemed to be almost entirely locals in four of the five places we visited. We sampled popular dishes and drinks ... and learned why/when they are popular. It turned out that my wife and I were the only people booked for our Wednesday evening tour, so this became a private session. Julia was so thoughtful to recommend a few places in Prague we might enjoy later in our trip, including a hard to find wine bar that we loved.  Definitely one of the better food tours I've been on, and a great part of our 4-day stay in Prague.

Julia was great! So accommodating. We enjoyed all the various local favorite restaurants she shared with us. Very yummy food. Julia shared lots of her expertise with us. We would recommend this tour anytime. We have been on food tours in different countries and have found that those out of the prime tourist locations are often the best, like this Prague food tour.

Julia was just delightful, very friendly and showed us a great range of foods, places to eat, all with insightful details about the food and culture. She was very happy to answer our questions about all things Prague and provide recommendations. Even though we had a rainy day for the tour, it didn’t dampen the experience. It was lovely to have a small group and lots of opportunity for conversation and not being shuffled around in a big group like so many other tour experiences. All the food we sampled was just delicious and we valued the time Julia had taken to curate the tour. We came away from the tour feeling like we had eaten like the locals and learned so much about Prague, its cuisine and people. We can not recommend the tour with Julia more highly.

Julia is an outstanding tour guide, full of knowledge and enthusiasm. It felt more like a food tour with friends. She selected her favourite restaurants in her neighbourhood to highlight various aspects of Czech food. She also shared the cultural and social aspects of sharing drinks and a meal with friends and family. We are so happy that we began our visit to Prague with this Tour and Julia. We finished the evening full, and content.

Our group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed Julia and the food tastings! She kept it out of the tourist areas and into neighborhood spots - plus she was so engaging that the time flew by! She was able to get accommodation for GF which was a great bonus as well!

Experience cuisine where locals go. Paul did a great job of explaining Czech culture, answering questions and introducing us to a Prague neighborhood less frequented. We sampled everything from hearty to sweet treats. Great tour all around.

We toured with Julia and she was fabulous. If you are needing an English tour guide, her English is outstanding and she really knows the area well.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained the food choices very clearly. At times maybe a little too much detail while we were eating. The tour was in the pouring rain and she was very helpful and even purchased tram tickets for us. One location was very loud and difficult to hear anyone speak even if culturally correct. Desert at the beginning would have been better if we could have bagged it for the end as it dampened our appetite. The sausage was very good and the best but all choices were good. The beer was also very very good.

Julia was our guide for the Hidden Gems food tour in Prague. She was lovely, so informative, very kind, and genuinely loves what she does. Her passion for the Country, city, people, and good food made our tour very special. The restaurants we visited were historic and so interesting. Our lovely hostess met us on time at the meeting point. She was knowledgeable and guided us to her favorite local establishments, explaining the culture to each culinary delight we sampled. It was evident that we were not eating in the tourist establishments, they were places where the neighborhood gathered. We enjoyed spending the evening with our hostess, eating and drinking the fare she selected for us.

We had an amazing time on this tour with Julia. She took us to some great, varied spots and we had lots of fantastic local Czech food. Julia also sent us lots of recommendations after the tour, we visited some of them and they were all really good - she has great taste!

Attended the Prague Food Tasting Tour of Hidden Gema for Small Groups and it was everything we hoped for and more. Julia was fantastic. Her knowledge of the local food establishments was what we came for, but we got so much more. This was not a “political” tour, and Julia didn’t take it there. That said, Julia helped our group from America better understand the history of the Czech Republic. Our discussions were very enlightening. From a logistical perspective, getting to and from the meeting point could not have been easier. Rating this tour (and Julia) with 5 Stars was the easiest decision I’ve had to make in a long time!

This food tour was an incredible experience. Our guide, Julia, was beyond amazing. She shared a wealth of knowledge about the history of the area and the food we were eating during the tour. The food was incredible She also sent us a long list of restaurant, bar, and care recommendations as well as books to read related to Prague and its history after the tour Julia went above and beyond for the guests on this tour. If I could give this tour 10 stars I would. If I could rate Julia alone, I would give her 100 stars!

This tour is great if you want someone who really connects with people, is an engaging story-teller, and vibrant personality as your guide! Julia was kind and treated us as friends while still showing us the intractable food spaces of Prague locals. We learned so much about the culture of Czech and walked away knowing more.
