Prague Castle Entry Ticket With Guide And River Cruise

The castle was closed and this is something they knew was happening but didn’t divulge when booking. The guide did not offer audio equipment and we could not understand most of what she said.

It was just the two of us and we had Lucy as our personal guide (from Premiant City Tour). She was great and shared a lot of the history throughout the tour of the castle. She was also a great photographer!

Our Guide was excellent. He kept us entertained and informed while we waited in the queues. The small group was ideal.

Excellent no doubt for this trip take the small group tour. Usually 10-12 people in group. Approximately 3 hours of walking to a variety of areas. We even got to see changing of the guards. Our tour guide was outstanding and spoke very strong and clear. Make sure wear comfortable walking shoes. You've got lots of stones to adventure on. A few stairs in some of the areas but nothing bad. Don't miss seeing the torture chamber at the end. It was a hoot.

It was not the best. We would have done better to purchase the entry tickets ourselves and just go around at our own pace.

Amazing experience. Wonderful synopsis of Czech history with tour of incredible sites! Learned of the intrigue among the Czech ruling and religious classes for 700 years. Our guide was knowledgeable and energetic. With all the complexity of the Czech culture we pray that our Czech friends find truth and love. “Neboť Bůh tak miloval svět, že dal svého jednorozeného Syna, aby žádný, kdo v něj věří, nezahynul, ale měl věčný život."

Our tour guide was formidable. Great communication skills, deep knowledge and managed to keep the pace for all the 3-4 hours we were together, which is not an easy job. Since i forgot his name, i kindly ask the company to write down his name.

Well paced and very informative. Inspired me to learn more about Czech history. The river cruise offered a great view of the Charles bring and Prague Castle.

Great group of tickets for the price. Bus tour goes by places we hadnt seen, walking tour is relatively long but very informative and river cruise was good for the pics, though it is pretty short distance. We would highly recommend it!

The vendor called me on Sunday morning saying that our Monday tour was cancelled due to a "state visit". I was busy clearing airport security at the time, so said okay to a Tueday tour. Upon arriving in Prague on Sunday afternoon we had a conflict with a Tuesday tour. When I called the vendor (same phone number) to cancel around 5pm Sunday, a man who answered hung up on me twice. I went into Victor's portal and The tour was still listed as Monday morning the next day. It said if I cancelled that I would lose the entire tour amount. So, we cancelled other plans and took the Tuesday tour. Only help through Viator was an AI bot. We are disappointed that Viator nor this vendor updated our actual tour date on the Viator site. This is not okay. On a positive note, our tour guide David was wonderful....so not a total loss.

I thought this tour was just "overload" with information and too much standing around. You are not dropped back to pickup point and need to make your own way back but I suppose the guide did tell us directions to the tram. If I was doing Prague Castle again I would just pick the churches or basicalla I would like to visit,buy the tickets at the entrance and they give you audio tour to listen to. But then this is not something you would know when planning your trip. I did not think this tour was value for money.

No return transportation back to hotel included. Left to find own back in rain. Disappointing! Areas of Castle closed. Description of tour needs to include that parts of the castle are closed in September. Unable to make river cruise due to tour timings - cruise has a break in departures at 2:00 p.m. Guide was very knowledge and spoke English well.

We had a great time on this tour! Lucy was a great guide and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the castle, cathedral, and Golden Lane. The bus pickup was easy to find and we appreciated that we were driven to the castle rather than having to hike up the (many) stairs. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend!

Prague castle and church is beautiful, but what lands is when you have a guide. So I’ll spend the rest of this reviewing my guide, Neil. Amazing experience. He’s entertaining with a solid grasp of the history … with super anecdotes. Don’t do castles or historical sites without a guide you miss so much! Especially if they’re like Neil!

My husband and I really enjoyed the castle tour. Our guide, Ladislav, was very knowledgeable and clearly took pride his country’s history. We ending up being the only people on the tour, and he still gave us 100%. The castle town was very interesting and well worth the visit. The boat ride, however was probably not worth it. The boat had recently broken down and while, after some discussion, they were able to get us on a different boat, it was fine, but nothing special. Many people on the boat were smoking heavily, and that probably also contributed to making the ride less enjoyable.

Much too much talk with too many details by the guide. Poor management of time. 4,5 hours for the guided tour without the cruise. This meant we did not have time to do tge cruise. We recommend that you do it yourself instead.

Hard to hear our host speak as we walked through the immense palace complex. Using a system like Vox would have been much easier. The sites on the grounds were amazing to see. We did not take the boat tour the same day as the castle visit but the tickets were accepted on the boat the following day.

Great trip, our guide was amazing, extremely knowledgeable and enabled the group to go at the right pace for each person, allowing plenty of time for photos and breaks. Would highly recommend this trip, our guide was Renee!!

Very informative and interesting - thanks to Jakob - an EXCELLENT guide!! River cruise not worth your time. Very hot (could barely feel the a/c and everyone used menu as a fan!) and couldn’t hear the recorded guide.

Wow!! The tour is simply amazing and very worth it. I highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide is Jacob and he is very friendly & knowledgeable and provided a lot of details of its history and what you’re seeing. The tour covers the entire Prague castle complex itself, and we finished out with an 1-hour river cruise on Vltava River. We went through most historical parts of the castle complex and St Vitus Cathedral and St George Basilica. The bus start at Old Town and was a quick and convenient way up the hill to Prague Castle.

Phenomenal tour guide. So knowledgeable and great at explaining the history. I wish the tour had explained more specifically where the tour ends. Shame on me for not investigating more. Being "left" at the castle was a bit surprising. The tour part was great though.

Ladislav thoroughly explained Prague’s history. It was worth the price to see these sights with a guide instead of going on your own.

Romika was excellent. Very clear and accurate in describing the numerous attractions we visited. Everything was well organised and we would thoroughly recommend to anyone spending a few days in Prague and wishing to get an excellent insight into Prague Castle and its surroundings. We took the boat trip later in the day which was a pleasant way to enjoy a drink on a short cruise between a few bridges.

Tour guide was very informative and showed us many things we would have missed on our own.

We had a very interesting trip. Veronica was with us from the meeting point in old town. The bus dropped us right by the castle. After a brief view of the gardens she made made sure the ladies could nip to the toilet before we went inside. We enjoyed watching some of the changing of the gaurd, but as time was limited we proceeded around the main buildings and historic locations. My only criticism would be as we were a small group a coffee / refreshment stop would have been nice. Thankfully we just managed to squeeze in lunch near the exit towards the bridge. Then it was a real sprint to ensure we got on the 3pm river cruise. This was really nice and we managed to find a lovely spot on the lower deck near the front. The weather was beautiful and the staff were friendly.

Steven was a very good guide. He gave us a lot of practical tips on navigating the city and was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the spaces we visited. I went on the boat tour the very same day. It was pleasant riding on top of the boat and looking at the coast Overall it was good. If you're interested in this kind of tour this one is fine.

Very comprehensive tour of the cathedral and palace. Tour guide was exceptional with added humor. It was one of the best tours we have experienced.

The tour and guide were excellent the down side was having to walk back from the castle. Would would be an improvement would be a travel option back especially for older customers

Stepan was a great guide and we enjoyed our time much more because of the information he was able to provide us.

We were surprised that we needed to meet our tour guide at a kiosk on Na Prikope street, not in the castle. Once we had found the kiosk we met up with our guide and were bused to the castle. Our guide took us round the castle complex and explained the various sights. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and did a good job.

We really tried to enjoy this tour but our tour guide was not good at all. She arrived with an attitude, it got better during the tour but not much. Really said because you could tell she knew was she was talking about. Maybe she was just having a bad day but it made for a long and miserable day. The palace is awesome with lots of history but we could have learned mores and enjoyed better with the audio guide. I don’t believe we even knew her name.

Everything worked out as described. Nice guide with good knowledge english. The Boattrip was also nice.

Our tour guide was very friendly and welcoming. She had a confident manner that put us at ease. Her English was excellent and it was easy to follow her explanations. The tour was at an engaging pace, allowing us time to enjoy our surroundings and take photos but ensuring we made the most of our time together. We got lots of great tips for things to do following the tour, which we made use of during the rest of our trip. I'd highly recommend this tour.

The guide only had 4 people but was almost running, and talking so fast, it was hard to catch up with her. The English couple with us said they only caught every 7th word she was saying.As visitors to a country we had to keep asking her to stop so we could take photos Not a pleasant experience.

Stephen was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and had answers for all of the questions! 10/10 would recommend. Appreciate the ideas that the cruise ticket was valid for 2 days which meant we could have longer time in the castle. Unfortunately there is no transfer from the castle to the cruise but we had enough information from Stephen on how to get to the cruise. Lovely experience overall!

Mr Ladislav Stoupa was absolutely amazing tour guide! He was so informative and excellent at explaining all the key details. His knowledge was superb and made the experience to be first class - highly recommended!

We were met on time by our coach driver and our tour guide, David. Everything about the tour was explained to us in advance. On the journey to the castle David gave us information about Prague and its history. David was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He had an in depth knowledge of the castle, its buildings and Czech history, which is very complex. He delivered this at a pace and in a manner that was easy to follow. The buildings were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The guide was excellent and we really enjoyed the experience. We were a little surprised to be left at the castle with no transport back into the city

We had an information, knowledgeable, passionate about the history of Prague tour and guide. Ladislav Stoupa was full of information, the Guided tour he gave us of the Castle, St Vitus Cathedral, St George's Bassilica, Golden Lane was exceptional. Our group was 8 people which was ideal, Ladislav's english was very good, how he remembered all the information was very impressive. He gave us time for photos, he would ask us regularly if anyone had any questions. He knew exactly where to take us for great viewing and photo's. You get so much more information when you have a guide, who knows their stuff. We were very impressed, it was well worth it. Excellent Tour & Guide.

A really enjoyable visit focusing on the key highlights of the castle and cathedral with a very knowledgeable guide. We would definitely recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed the trip. It was very informative and well organised. Our guide Tatiana was amazing. She delivered the history of the place with a brilliant sense of humour. I and my partner decided to split the trip onto two days and we went to the river cruise next day. The day we went on the river cruise was snowing and we had a mulled vine while watching the beautiful scenery of Prague.

Our guide, David, made the most of a very busy castle and grounds with our group. He did his best to provide an experience spite the heavy crowds.

Really great tour. The guide Lenka was amazing and really helpful. Very relaxed and enjoyable afternoon. The boat ride can be a bit crammed so I would get there early to get good seats!

Really informative guide. Very helpful as we started in the wrong place & he facilitated meeting us at the castle. Would definitely recommend.
