Spent the best day with Jakub. Not only did he entertain us as we explored the Castle side but he found us the best places to eat and drink! We had so much fun we booked him the next day to see the Old Town, which was just as great. I wish there were more Jakob's in the world. He made our time in Prague extra special Highly recommend to anyone who wants to see the real Prague not just the tourist traps

Itinerary
ON THIS TOUR: As part of a small group, you get up hill by a tram, hear the Czech history intro to get a context, then you can enjoy a "welcome" special local monastery beer (or other drink). We will make stops along the way and show you the more hidden parts away from souvenirs and crowds, as well as the high-profile sights such as Charles Bridge, Prague Castle or John Lennon Wall. In 2/3 of the tour, you will sit around table and taste samples of the traditional Czech cuisine. The idea for this concept was: "Let’s say you only have 1 day to spend in Prague, what would be the best possible activity to do, to learn about the city history, today’s life and culture?" We also provide you with our guidebook - where we like to eat and drink, what are our favorite parts of Prague.
After we exit tram, we start walking through "The Castle District" - equally beautiful and much less chaotic compared to Prague’s Old Town.
12the century founded monastery with beautiful old library, but also St. Norbert Brewery located here. It’s where we sit and have a quick "welcome" drink.
Enjoy the "Bellavista" with a beautiful panorama view of the main historical Prague. We tell you about iconic Zizkov and Petrin towers, and more.
This church complex is a perfect stop to talk the complicated relationship between organized religion and today’s Czech Republic.
In our opinion, this is the most amazing neighborhood in Prague. Charming, still surprisingly unknown and well hidden. One of the highlights!
We stop outside the main gate, to tell you about the largest medieval castle complex in the world. Sometimes the timing is just right and we can even watch the main change of the guards (at noon)
Another iconic view where we can see for example the famous Dancing House - 90’s modern art building inspired by classic Hollywood musicals.
Back on the "Royal Path", we walk to the Jansky Vrsek area and go enjoy the local food tasting part - we always book a table at St. Martin.
We explain the significance of this love and peace symbolizing art-covered wall. Let’s get more into the cold war time anti-Soviet resistance.
We get to one of the most beautiful city island in Europe.
Final stop (before we get back to the office) is Prague’s oldest and most iconic bridge. Let us tell you about the special numerology, disasters that happened, or what happens when you touch the statue of Saint with five stars halo...

Jacob was a brilliant tour guide, he clearly loves his city and told off it's history enthusiastically. He showed us some of the beaten track places to drink local beers and taste local food which were excellent. I highly recommend this tour.
Ondra was a fantastic guide with lots of facts and history. The tour included a beer tasting and a fantastic meal at a local restaurant. He took us thru streets that are off the beaten path for a more intimate look into the local life. Very good tour.
We had a great experience with “One Prague Tour”. We had two guided tours. One with Ondre and another with Jakub. Great local guides, lots of knowledge about Prague. Personal and very friendly people. Also went to restaurants you would never have been to as a tourist and tasted really good locally food. 5 stars for those guys.
Ondrej was great - very knowledgeable about Czech history & the role Prague played in it. We got a wonderful overview of the major sites in Prague and had two stops at authentic local restaurants for a drink and then lunch. I highly recommend this tour!!
This tour was highly recommended by our hotel concierge and it didn't disappoint. Our guide, Andrew, was pleasant, engaging, and knowledgeable. The lunch stop was spectacular and the small group setting made it very enjoyable.
We had an amazing time walking around and learning about Praha. Our tour guide Andrew was very knowledgeable about all the things around Prague that one should experience. The food and beer were delicious. Would recommend to anyone and go again when we come back. It slightly snowed on our walk and was very cold but worth it.
Amazing tour with a great guide, extensive knowledge and definitely took us off the beaten track to enjoy the sights Would recommend
Had a wonderful time during this tour with the other participants of the tour! Ondra was an amazing guide and person with great knowledge of Prague and its history, highly recommend!
This was a brilliant experience - I can't recommend it highly enough. Our tour guide Ondra was fabulous - so engaging and knowledgeable with just the right blend of history and fun facts. The beer stop at the monastery was lovely and we also had lunch with our group in a local restaurant. This was a great opportunity to meet other travellers and chat and try local food. We hope to come back to Prague soon and do the tour on the other side of the river. Thanks again for a wonderful experience - and such good value for money too.
This tour was excellent. It was a relaxed pace, but with lots of good insight into Prague’s history. We especially liked the tour guide.
This was an excellent tour full of interesting stops and information. It was a small and personal group which was appreciated. The inclusion of a beer and lunch was great. We tried lots of Czech dishes at a family owned restaurant. The pace was perfect for every age. The guide is phenomenal-engaged and friendly. I highly recommend this tour. The length is perfect.
Andre was an incredible tour guide. He took us through very serene streets for history and incredible views. Our stops for beer and beverages were well chosen and our lunch was exceptional for location, variety and taste. We saw sights we wanted to see including the Lennon Wall. Put your walking shoes on and enjoy the tour!
Jacob did a wonderful job discussing the history of Prague as well as introducing us to its culture and food. He took us to parts of the city that tourists don't often see. Jacob has a great personality and kept the group entertained. The tour was a pleasure, and I highly recommend Jacob as a guide.
Jakub was a tremendous guide and host to his hometown. Awesome tour. Small group walk, drink, and eat. Best idea we had was to start of our visit with this tour. Well done!
It was an amazing tour! Sebastian our guide was fantastic, he keeps you engaged and is very knowledgeable on the history of Prague. I would recommend this tour or any tour through one Prague tour!
The tour was amazing and our tour guide, Sebastian, was the best. Highly recommend booking this tour or any other tour with Sebastian. The city is beautiful and he did a great job teaching us the history of Prague.
This is my second tour with one prague tours. This time with a different group and the castle side of the city. Jacub again was so informative and wonderful to see and experience routes off the general tourist trails. We also got to experience some local cuisine and beer which was very enjoyable. Happy to recommend!
A great experience in Prague after a full day of sitting in a workshop. The tour was engaging and uplifting, which was greatly appreciated by the group. The hidden gems provided a fresh perspective on the city and added a local touch. The food was delicious, and there was an interesting story behind the selection. Everything was professional, and we had a fantastic evening—much better than simply sitting in a restaurant for 3 hours. I highly recommend it!"
Ondra was an excellent guide. He showed us all sorts of hidden gems and kept us away from the crowds. Delicious beer and a very nice lunch capped off an excellent tour. ☺️🍺
Ondra is an amazing guide! He gave our group a very descriptive history and itinerary of every place we saw and/or passed by. All the places we stopped to eat/drink, great food and drinks! He also gave us a guide of reccomended places to go to for food and drinks! I highly recommend doing this tour! It's perfect, no big group(s) and easy moderately paced tour!
Incredible learning experience in out of the way neighborhoods. We were able to enjoy local beers and yummy traditional Czech food along the way. Andrew was an exceptional Czech guide who speaks perfect English and we enjoyed visiting with him about his Czech upbringing and the history of the Czech Republic. It was a small group so it was very personal and interesting. We highly recommend it!!
Andrew was a fabulous tour guide! He taught us so much about Czech history and the culture. He took us into neighborhoods around Prague Castle that we would have never visited and there were no crowds. We ate like kings and queens and enjoyed Czech beer along the way. It was a small group so we were able to ask many questions and get clear answers in English. We would highly recommend this tour!
We did the castle side history tour with beer and food and really enjoyed it! The small group made things super easy and Ondra was a fantastic host. He made the information easy to understand and had a lot of knowledge. It was awesome to break up the info with beer and a delicious meal too. Highly recommend this tour.
What's better than learning about the city and its history with food and drinks? Small group, nice walk and interesting information about the city and its history. Jakub told us a lot and led us to the tastiest food and drinks. Great experience!
Great tour and nice guys that really make their guided tour the best. Much better experience than the common big group guided tours. They've really thought out the experience for each person - they're attentive and generally just very enjoyable guys.
Our first time to Prague and we signed up for both the Castle Side (Ondra) and Old Town Road (Jakub) on our first 2 days. Both tours were fantastic and showed us parts of Prague that we would have never known were there! They were both engaging with our small groups and we all had a blast. Best part of our trip and would highly recommend them and both of these tours!
Jakob took us on a tour of the Castle side of Prague and we enjoyed exploring some “off the beaten path” quieter areas. The food and drink stops were in lovely settings and the food was great. Very informative guide and also very personable. We had a good time and learned a lot about Czech history and culture.
I was really excited to see this side of Prague. Ondra was a fantastic guide, and the beer & food were great. Highly recommended!
Great guide! Ondra was amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly and funny too! Felt like walking around with an old friend and nothing better on a tour than a visit to the Brewery and a feast of local foods at the end of the tour. The food was amazing! Joe-U.S.
Andrew has obviously thought out the route and details carefully. We were afraid he was taking us places we’d already been and instead were treated to hidden gems only a local would know. Really appreciated his effort to talk to everyone in our small group.
Great Tour next to the normal touristic routes. Absolutely to recommend! I‘d like the Concept with local food and Beer tastes next to Tour itself
Jacob was an incredible guide! He gave a great recount of history in some hidden locations. He did a phenomenal job of showing us the highlights of Prague while incorporating local hang outs that provided great food and drinks. Jacob even left us with a list of places to eat and visit while on our own in the city. Cannot recommend this tour enough! Great experience!
Not your typical tour at all, small group. Being talked to and interacted with by Jacob the guide like friends not customers, saw some great sights off the beaten path and heard a lot about culture and history without being boring at all. The beer in the monastery was a great way to start and the food in the local restaurant was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know more about the city without being killed by typical tour boredom.
Michal our tour guide was epic. Good fun, great sense of humour and very knowledgeable even about history not directly related to the tour itself. We learnt a lot and had a very enjoyable 3 hour walking tour with him.
We had the most exceptional tour with Ondra. He was immediately friendly and informative, providing us with a local and insider view of the city. We visited several secret spots, which was accompanied by really interesting historical information. We were very well looked after with delicious food and drink too. Ondra was the perfect tour guide and we definitely will be reaching out to him again next time we're in Prague! 10/10!
Our tour guide, Jáchym, was incredibly knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. It was an authentic tour and didn't feel scripted. We learned about past Czech rulers, architecture, other general history, and modern local customs. It was a nice small group of about 8 people, which made it easy to get to know each other and enjoy a drink and lunch together. At the end of the tour, Jáchym snapped pictures with people who wanted them and even walked me and my family back to our tram stop. Highly recommend this tour!
I cannot possibly recommend this tour enough. Ondra, a local, took us through Prague for ~3 hours. It was excellently paced, culturally enriching, and has ruined every other tour I’ve ever been on. I loved that food/beer is included on the tour, because this is such an important part of any culture. Ondra was kind, personable, and knowledgeable. I could not recommend this tour enough.
What a fab tour, which had everything we had hoped for. Jakob was a fantastic guide, really easy to talk/listen to with a lifetime of experience of life in Prague. First stop a tram up to the beautiful Strahov Monastery with a fabulous library and its own brewery. Then onto the Castle and the new world ! As we made our way down towards the river, we passed a number of outstanding buildings including the Foreign Office, various Embassies. A delightful lunch and beer at the cosy St Martin Restaurant, was a welcome delight and to finish off a visit to John Lennon Wall and extra refreshments at Lokal ! All in all a magnificent few hours spent with delightful company. Many thanks Jakob.
I really enjoyed learning more about the history of the Czech Republic, seeing parts of the city that we never would have discovered on our own, the beer and the tasty samples of traditional food. Our guide was full of information, patience, stories and opinions. We loved it all!
This was a very interesting tour, with many scenic views, and highlights. Jacob did a wonderful job, explaining the history behind Prague, and many interesting things. He went above and beyond our expectations, and even spent extra time with us putting out additional highlights. I would certainly recommend this tour.
We had an amazing experience with Jakub! We really felt like we got to know Prague through the lens of a friend rather than a tourist. Jakub took us to both the main sites and some less touristy ones. The stop at the monastery for beer was so fun, and we loved the lunch as well. Jakub made us all feel so welcome and had great stories and anecdotes. He gave us so much great information for after the tour as well. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants an insider’s guide to Prague.
Jakub was a fantastic host !!! Knowledgeable, personable and became our new friend in the Czech Republic. His stories and historical knowledge made this tour a good place to start our stay here. The lunch and beer were excellent. We would highly recommend taking this tour. K & M Canada
Great tour if you are looking for hidden gems, insider knowledge, and more details about the history and culture of Prague. This was probably my favorite walking tour I have ever done. Jakob was a great guide with a lot of information to share. Huge fan of this experience and would recommend to anyone visiting!
Great tour! Lots of cool sites and recommendations for the area without feeling rushed anywhere. I had been to Prague and taken another tour of the area before and still saw new and unique things on this tour. It was great to be in a small group after seeing so many big groups with headsets in other areas of the city. Loved the food and beer samples as well. Highly recommend (early on in your trip if you can so you can enjoy the recommendations after)!
Jakob was a great guide who brought the castle side to life. Excellent spots were shared and I felt we got off the beaten path and truly experienced it. He took us places he truly know and that were part of his life. The tour helped make our trip memorable.
Andrey was an excellent guide. He showed us the highlights of the area as well as some small off the beaten path spots. We stopped for a “tasting” of some traditional Czech dishes and it was a wonderful lunch. We loved the small group, only my husband and I and another couple from Australia.
The Pragueway team were awesome. They quickly made the tour group which in our case was only 7 people, welcome. Our guide was knowledgeable and took us into areas of the city that are less touristy but still amazing to learn about. The best bit though was the local tour book that they have produced and shared with us after the tour. I went and visited many of their recommendations for pub, restaurants and places of interest and none disappointed. Well done team!!!
Jacob was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took us around the castle and Lesser town to places that would not be obvious for tourists. The group we went with was diverse, multiple countries and ages. The brewery was excellent and so was dinner. He gives you a sheet of recommended places which is golden if you book earlier in your trip. We tried several of them and also were great. I would recommend this tour for anyone coming to Prague for the first time.
Taste of the munk amber beer was really appreciated. The guide Andrew know his story. And the food was nice.
