Excellent tour! There is a lot of walking but so worth it! Wear comfortable walking shoes and warm clothing. Dave was our guide and he was great!

The see it all tour was exceptional!! George, our tour guide, was fantastic. Not only did we see the main sites in Prague, he led us through some local areas to show us some of his favorite sites. The small boat trip was very informative too. The best part of the tour was definitely the Prague Castle & church. It was a magnificent day!!
My wife and I took this tour recently when we briefly visited Prague, and it didn’t disappoint. We learned the history of the Charles Bridge, saw a functioning astronomical clock, cruised down the Vitava River, and toured the grounds of Prague Castle. Our guide, Jakob, was a wealth of knowledge, and not just about Czech history. He showed us a great place to grab lunch during the tour, as well as helped us figure out the public transit system to get back to our hotel. He was exceptionally personable too. We encourage anyone wanting to get a good lay of the land to take this tour, and request Jakob!
Wonderful tour of Prague old Town and surrounding areas including Prague castle. The tour guide Anel did a great job and she made the the tour special
This is a great tour. It covers a lot of the old town along with charles bridge and the prague castle. The boat ride in the middle broke up all the walking. We did the tour on our first day here and it helped us know what's what. Anes was our guide and she is excellent. She was very knowledgeable and explained the history without it becoming boring. We would do another tour with her in a heartbeat.
Small sized tour group made the whole day feel very personalized. Anel guided us with clear instruction and answered any questions we had with knowledgeable insight. We would recommend Anel as a tour guide u to anyone looking to tour Prague.
Great overview of Prague. Be prepared to walk alot. Covered all areas of town with good history and background of each.
John was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable about everything and we enjoyed seeing the beauty of Prague on this tour. I would highly recommend everyone to check this out and hopefully you will be lucky & get John as your guide.
Myself and my partner did the Charles Bridge, old town and Jewish Quarter tour in the morning followed by a boat trip, after which we had a break for lunch and then met back up with our guide to go up to the cathedral and Castle area. Our tour guide Eric had a wealth of knowledge, ensuring no question when unanswered. His love for his home city and passion for his role as a guide was truly evident. The beauty of touring the city with a guide such as Eric is that you learn so much more than you would wandering around aimlessly. Having walked across the Charles Bridge and noticing the weir on the river I did wonder where the boat would actually take us. The answer was not very far! You did get to see some of the buildings from a different perspective but my advice would be to stick with the two walking tours and then perhaps take in one or two of the galleries and have a leisurely lunch, before reconvening for the tour in the afternoon. The tour of the castle and Cathedral area doesn’t include entry into the buildings. This would need to be done on an alternative day, but we learnt so much more from Eric as we walked around.
Excellent tour! One day to see most of Prague! The guide Anel is outstanding! She is full of knowledge and explained very well! I enjoyed the whole 7 hours!
Lucie is a great guide and spending time with her added tremendously to the joy of discovering amazing city of Prague. Lucy is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very much in love with Prague. And she shares her love with the guests of the city.
Radovan was an excellent guide, explaining everything we saw in depth and adapting to our pace. I am a photographer so I tend to move slowly photographing along the way.
Radovan did an excellent job! When I mentioned a Czech cookie my family has been making for generations, he went out of his way to send me articles from Prague regarding the cookies.
It was great. I had an amazing tour with my wife celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Thank you, Viator.
Erik was a great tour guide! Very attentive to all our questions, provided local recommendations, and made sure to even pick up some late comers who missed the arrival time. Thanks for a great start to Prague! The tour helped orient us for the rest of our time in the city, and better understand some of the expansive history of what we were walking past. Two hours well spent.
It is a lot of walking on cobblestone streets. The tram is very nice and free to over 65 years of age, so we used that to get up to the castle. Our guide George was very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed getting to know him. What could have made it better was to have some sort of Whisper Unit so we could better hear him. We were in a group of about 10, so sometimes we were spread out. I was always in the back due to my knee issues, so sometimes I did not hear him. I also had trouble keeping up with him toward the end of the tour. The boat tour was a little slow getting started and cut into our lunch break time. At the end, George helped us navigate the tram back to the hotel by telling us what number to take and what stop to use on departure. His instructions got us close but we had to then consult the posted schedule due to a detour, which was not his fault. We successfully navigated our way back to hotel.
John was a very informative and knowledgeable guide. His timing was great, he got us to the Astronomical clock at noon and the changing of the guard on the hour.
John was amazing he was very good and knowledgeable he had also good recommendation for restaurants and other things to do. Good value for money.
We had John as our guide for the day and he was so informative without being boring! He set a nice pace and the entire day was wonderful . The tour was a great overview of the best of Prague. Would love to have John as our guide again!
Nell was a fantastic tour guide and took us see all the highlights of Prague. Her knowledge of the city and local history was impressive!
We had a fantastic tour with John. You spend so much time and energy getting to a place like this, you absolutely should learn all about it from a local expert.
John was a great guide!!! He kept our group moving all the while providing great history and facts about what we were seeing. He had it timed so perfectly that we got to the clock area about 2 mins before it chimed and a few minutes before the changing of the guards at the castle. We did the all day tour which at first seemed like it might be a long day but in fact the way it was structured it was a perfect way to see the city. Highly recommend this tour and our guide John.
Excellent your that covered all the main Prague tourist sites. Eric, our guide, was amazing and a font of knowledge. Highly recommended.
Great tour.. Joseph was so informative, interacted politely with the 10 or so of us on the walk around the city. He clearly loves his city and shared many tips for other places to explore in the center. Learned so much about the history and architecture in such a short time. 10/10
Excellent tour that included all of the main sights but had enough of a break to give us some down time. Sebastian was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and personable.
My partner and I really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide, Dave, was extremely informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Our favorite parts were the Prague castle, which was absolutely beautiful, as well as having beer and ice cream on the river cruise. Although lunch was not included, Dave recommended a great lunch spot which had a tasty burger and fried cheese. I highly recommend this tour!
Tour delivered exactly what was promised. Meeting point well described and easy to find. David was very knowledgeable and efficient, also spoke English very well.
Loved the walking tour. Had two separate guides, Lucy and (Joe) and they kept it lively, fun and both were very knowledgeable. Hit all the main sights and then some. The boat tour was a nice in between and also gave quite a bit of history.
We took this tour without knowing that it would turn out to be one of the best walking tours we have taken during our current holiday, including the tours we had in Vienna and Budapest. We were short on time, and this was the perfect walking tour for Prague. It was a small group, and both guides were professional, knowledgeable, and absolutely amazing. What distinguished both guides, however, was their ability to make everyone in the group feel so comfortable that each person felt as though they had known them for years. On our tour on the 4th of October, the guide for the first half was Erik. He was young, full of energy, and shared his extraordinary knowledge of history with us in such an engaging way. The next guide was another young person who jokingly said that his name was not easy to remember. He was certainly wrong! No one could forget his name because of his politeness and his distinct and wonderful manner of guiding his customers. Jarda was like a teacher narrating historical facts to kindergarten children—with remarkable patience, warmth, and enthusiasm, despite his young age. It was indeed a treat to have taken this tour, and it has certainly been one of the highlights of the tours we have taken during our current holiday.
This is a great tour. You will walk around prague with a local to get to know the history of the city. Jacob, our guide was always open to questions, and gave us insider information as well as lunch reocmendations. This tour works great because you get a break in the middle where you do a boat tour and then go for lunch on your own, and then meet back for the rest of the tour. Small groups make this tour even better as you get more of the information.
We had a very good experience with this tour, in the morning we had Eric as our guide, I don’t think you could get a guide with more historical data than Eric, he is an excellent guide and a genuinely a really nice young man, the boat trip was also good and very informative. In the afternoon we had Jarda as our guide for the Castle part of the tour, Jarda, like Eric, was also full of interesting historical information regarding the Castle and the Bascillica and he is also a very fine young man, hats off to Pragueway tours, you have some really good guides, I would highly recommend this company. Sebastian and Marian
Jarda was a great tour guide.. He had lots of enthusiasm and knowledge of the city.. He gave us in two in a half hour a lot of information about the city of Prague and its surroundings.
The advertised itinerary of the 7-hour tour was spot-on. But Erik our guide brought the itinerary to life with his explanations, knowledge and humorous stories. Erik also took pictures for us so selfies weren’t necessary. In short, Erik was a great guide and the tour’s advertising was accurate.
Eric our guide was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions. A fantastic day sightseeings
Sebastian was a fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable, funny and did a great job bringing Prague and Czech history to life. I really enjoyed the smaller group size and will definitely recommend this tour to others.
Agata was absolutely charming, knowledgeable, kind and sweet. We didn’t feel rushed and she was absolutely wonderful. She kept us informed of what to expect and is a great storyteller. We will take away from this adventure the beauty of Prague and the dynamic young people. The tour was very thorough!
My wife and I had a fantastic time on the One Day See-It-All Prague Tour & River Boat Cruise. We were a little hesitant to book because it sounded like it might be a very long day, but we’re so glad we did. The tour was well paced, with some free time between segments, and the day honestly flew by because we enjoyed it so much. We had two excellent guides. Vitek took us through the Charles Bridge and Old Town Square in the morning, and Sebastian showed us Prague Castle in the afternoon. Both were young, fun, engaging and extremely knowledgeable. They shared plenty of history without ever making it feel like a history lecture. It was a great way to see and understand so much of Prague in a single day. We’d highly recommend it, especially for first-time visitors who want to experience the highlights while still having time to enjoy the city.
I opted for the seven hour tour that was split between Jarda and Vitek, and it could not have been more perfect. It being shoulder season, the crowds were manageable and the weather was perfect. Both guides were very affable and passionate about providing the history of each stop, eager to answer any questions, and I always appreciate when guides share their personal stories and experiences. I encourage wearing supportive shoes, as most sidewalks in Old Town are cobblestone, so skip the flip flops, sandals, or thin soled/slip on shoes (ladies flats, Vans, etc.). Thank you, Jarda and Vitek, for making my short visit to Prague so memorable!
Dave and Vteck were both excellent guides. Very knowledgeable and funny.
Dave was absolutely amazing and kind. He had so much knowledge and showed us so much of Prague while explaining the history behind every location we were in. He even helped my father and I find a way back to our hotel on maps when my data wasn’t working. Absolutely a pleasure to have him as our guide! Very professional.
It was excellent! Very informative and guide Sebastian was very knowledgeable about the things we saw. Very easy to speak with on a personal level.
Sebastian is very knowledgeable about the area. Also very friendly and easy to speak to with the participants. Group of 10 made it very personal.
What a wonderful tour! Adam was passionate, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time seeing Prague with him as our guide. He also gave us great suggestions about restaurants.
We booked a 4 day break in Prague & decided that the 7hr walking tour/river cruise on our first full day was the best way to get our bearings for the rest of our trip. A group of 12 was an ideal number. Sebastian was our tour guide & he was excellent. He was a very articulate speaker & demonstrated his love of Prague & Czechia through his commentary & humorous anecdotes. His knowledge of the country’s history was amazing. 7 hours seemed a long time for a tour when we booked, but the short river cruise & our independent stroll to find lunch provided a relaxing interim break.
Sebastian was a fantastic guide! He’s so knowledgeable and passionate about the city, and he shared hidden gems and stories we would never have discovered on our own. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it!
There is a lot of history to learn about on this tour. Our guide Lucie was very good, knew a lot of history even when we had questions she could answer them. The cruise was lovely and was a good chance to sit and rest our legs before walking again in the after around Prague castle. There were a lot of photo opportunities and Lucie was great a taking the photos for us.
Excellent 7 hour day tour with a boat trip, visit to the castle and walking section. Got to see all the sites. Our guide Erik was fabulous - knowledgeable, kind and made it a fun and interesting day. Would highly recommend.
Highly recommend this tour! The company are excellent and keep the group small - there were 9 of us and I think their max is 10-12. Other groups were huge and, quite apart from the inconvenience they caused, they couldn't possibly have had the interaction with the guide that we had with Jacob... who was EXCELLENT! So well informed, funny and entertaining... he really made the day. We actually had more than a day there but decided to do this tour to make sure we saw all we wanted to ... and we did! Thank you, Jacob!
Upon arrival, things seemed a bit disorganized with the guides (who was going with whom), but fortunately, we were assigned Agata and she was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, had a great voice tone that didn’t sound monotonous, and provided little stories along the way to bring greater insight to the sites we were seeing. She has a dynamic personality, which added to an overall wonderful experience. The tour is broken out into three segments. The city tour on foot was with Agata (wear comfortable shoes as navigating the cobblestone streets can be a bit challenging); a break for lunch on your dime, followed by a boat cruise without any tour guide, though there is a recording on the boat that provides points of interest for you to view; the final part of the tour requires you to return to the original morning meeting place, just across the Charles Bridge, where you will meet a different tour guide who takes you up to the Palace for a tour. The tour up to the Palace includes a tram ride (the price is included in the ticket price). I was disappointed the Palace tour did not include a visit to St. Vitas, as the Palace tour is all outside and not really that impressive. You do learn the history of the Palace, but you’re only able to see it externally. At the conclusion of the tour, you are on your own to pay for a tram or walk down the hill to return to your hotel. I gave this tour a 5-star as you did see quite a bit of the main attractions of the city and also a credit to Agata, who was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. I would have preferred having her for the afternoon tour of the Palace for consistency. Of course, if your morning tour guide wasn’t that great, a change in guides for the afternoon might be refreshing. You definitely learn about the city and its history on this tour, which is how the tour is described.
It’s understated to say the impact a tour guide has on an experience like this, and Sebastian was the best guide I’ve ever had. The knowledge, humour and ability to be authentically him and provide a fun day was special. By the end of the day he felt like a friend more than a guide. Prague is majestic and beautiful. Seb went out of his way to understand people’s interests and backgrounds and personalized the day towards that. Worth every penny. Highlight of my trip.
