Great tour! Lara did a wonderful job of mixing legends and mysteries with potential theories of how they came to be. Highly recommended!

This tour was cancelled due to not having enough people sign up. We were oferred to join another tour which was OK but not what we wanted or expected.
The tour was amazing!! A lot of sight seeing, very interesting stories that puts you in a different time and give a slight glimpse to the past. Lara was amazing!!! Super knowledgable, interesting, kind and a great story teller!! She went above and beyond answering all our questions and give us a great time! It was really great understaning the history of prague, europe and occult folklore of the area. We can't recommend enough, we loved it!! Thank you so much for a great time!! 12/10!!🙏🏼💓
It was excellent experience. Scott was amazing in his character with special effects by his voice. Ignore the bard reviews!! Worth every penny for the tour. Thank you guys!
We had a wonderful and insightful walking tour with a lovely tour guide. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in historical facts and some nice mysteries!
I loved this walk, it is in the most adored area in the city and at night it is the perfect time to see it empty and also discover the beauty of Prague at night. Our guide was Casey and he turned out to be a fantastic story teller, who was able to add the mystery in each stop we had during this walk. I would recommend it, if you have the time and are fascinated by the alternative.
Tour was really fun. The tour took 2 hrs and was never boring. Lots of interesting story’s about the history of Prague. Liam is a very friendly host and is very passionate in his story telling.
Andrea was very helpfully to discover stories and culture of old town an Jewish town. We kwown legends and historical info about this places. 2 hours tour
Tour felt scripted. Information was ok, stories lacked payoff. We did the tour in the rain, and the guide was insensitive to that fact when positioning us. Overall, wouldn't recommend for the price.
My husband and I went on this tour with Liam as our guide. He was fun, informative, and really gave us our money's worth! It went on for over two-and-a-half hours and and was very extensive. Wear good walking shoes because you will cover a lot of territory! I highly recommend Liam and this tour.
We had a great time with Liam, witch is such a great story teller. He has great stories about famous alchemists, and small details around the castle. If you have one shot for a tour in Prague, definitively go for this one ! Thank you again ! :)
Fantastic and Fun Liam was truly terrific and funny and very knowledgable Fabulous Was at dusk and weather fine.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable about European history. Great way of telling the stories and history with an air of mystique. Thoroughly enjoyed and learned unique history that would not have learned otherwise
Great if you’re looking for something to do in the evening. Liam was a great storyteller. Was able to catch sunset at the castle. Lovely experience.
Liam took us on this tour and it was a pleasant surprise. We could not get a ghost tour for that day (which was the most popular thing) and decided to try this out anyway because we had nothing else on. Liam kept us on our toes with his great storytelling and was a great guide. I've been to Prague 3 times now and Liam has still managed to show/tell me things I never noticed. It was a great experience and I'd highly recommend it. He even threw in some ghostly tales since we mentioned we wanted to do the ghost tours but didn't manage to get a spot. 10/10 will go on this tour again.
A really great your! Liam filled the evening with fun and interesting stories. The route itself includes access to the Prague castle grounds and a tram ticket within the price so a good bargain!
We booked a private version (2 people) of this tour with Scott and it was awesome! I had special interests in alchemy and history and he went out of his way to educate and answer any questions. The tour was in the evening and the castle district was mostly empty (some things were closed but didnt need to go inside anyways). I found this part of the tour extremely refreshing. Scott's english, experience and knowledge are excellent - creating an intimate and personalized expereience. An easy 5 stars.
Liam proved himself to be an excellent storyteller. His passionate and compelling delivery of the ghostly Gothic tales had an immediacy and power which had a thrilling and spellinding impact on the audience. Highly recommended.
It was a cold, dark, winters eve. Liam was fantastic, very enthusiastic and held these tours in small groups (ours was 6) - this made the tour much better and more understanding as there is a lot to take in (especially the long names/places). Liam was always on offer to answer questions we had. Of course, his outfit was wonderful! Totally recommend on a Sunday evening for a bargain cost!
Interesting, ghoulish history with plenty of sites to visit. However, my wife had considerable problems keeping up because of all the stairs and ramps she had to climb. Also, the tour guide spoke too quickly and it was difficult to hear all he said. An audio system would have been very helpful. Finally, we started very late, missing as much as 30 to 45 min of the tour.
After some delay on our part we made it to the tour group and had a thoroughly enjoyable few hours with Liam exploring the castle and surrounds after dark. Excellent evening with spooks and chills, Liam was witty and engaging throughout. Definitely would recommend this tour!
Liam was an excellent guide. Very informed and witty. The night time views wonderful. Time and money well spent.
This tour is great and our guide Liam was wonderful and very informative. We got to enjoy Prague castle area surrounding with no tourists and the view was really breathtaking! We listened to amazing ancient histories that shaped Prague to what it is today. Overall, it is something different from those daytime big group walking "touristy" tours. Love it! Thanks Liam!
Great walking tour. Very informative, information overload in a good way! Liam looks great in his costume and is very friendly. He also gives good tips and recommendations for things to do/places to eat etc at the end of the tour if you ask. If you want a theatrical/ghost tour with scares this isn’t for you. If you want to know the history of Prague, do this.
We did this tour on our first evening and Prague & it was an excellent way to find out the history of the city, providing context for the remaining days. Our guide Liam was a gent and great story teller. The tour lasted quite a long time with lots of walking so be sure to wrap up very warm in winter.
We enjoyed it very much! We were three friends plus another couple. Our guide Liam was very interesting and very theatrical. Dressed from the past, he told us many stories and legends and took us through beautiful streets despite the cold and the snow. I totally recommend it for an after dark tour, giving you a chance to see the monuments without any tourists.
Liam was a fabulous host and narrated the mysteries with adequate drama. The walking wasn't too much, the stories were fascinating, and Prague is stunning at night. What more could you ask for!
This isn't a ghost tour. This tour provides a selection of stories rooted in myth and science. So if you're looking for a scary ghostly experience, this isn't it. But if you want to hear some interesting stories, and walk around parts of the city you might otherwise pass up, this is a good option. I admit to expecting a ghost tour and was glad it was more fact-based. The downside was that we took the tour on a very cold night and I'm sure the summer tours would be a lot more enjoyable. Our guide was good, attentive, spoke well, and made sure to include everyone. Great job!
Facts and stories told during the tour were very interesting. They made, what seemed like normal churches and buildings, come alive and gave tour participants a brilliant insight into the tales and history behind these buildings and Prague in general. However, at some times the tour guide and the stories were slow, hard to follow and lacked sequence. If you have only one chance to visit the castle, then I would recommend attending during the day. Would recommend warm clothes, shoes etc if attending in the winter months as there is a lot of standing and listening. Overall, good tour if interested in old mythical tales and stories from Prague's history.
With Liam as our guide, this tour was both a great insight into a few of the most interesting stories from the history of Prague and an opportunity to see some absolutely beautiful locations without the crowds. Walking the Golden Lane with no other visitors apart from our group was a rare treat. An unexpected highlight of mulled wine from the front door of a little home in an medievel street was delightful on a freezing night. Highly recommended as a wy to see the Castle Hill district.
It was very cold the evening before New Years when we began our tour. In addition to the frigid evening there was precipitation and some of the guests were tardy however Liam, dressed as if he walked off a Hollywood movie period piece with oil lantern rangeled us politely to the tram to begin with everyone in place. Once we reached the top it was apparent this was going to be absolutely phenomenal. Liam is an acting teacher and his thespian skills are exemplary as he filled our minds with fascinating images and stories of Satan and Alchemists. Sadly, one of our groups had to leave but without skipping a beat Liam whisked us away to more magical places like the Portal to Hell and to a view of Prague second to none. My wife and I travel a great deal and without any question this tour is a must go experience and best tour we have ever had. Please recommend Liam for your tour leader (sorry coworkers but he set a very high bar and I haven’t had your tour). Phenomenal, 5 Stars, Delightful and slyly educational!
Dad & I have been spending this christmas holiday in Prague, our second night here was in with 'Lara' for a walking alchemy tour of the west side of the city - considering it was her first tour, she did a wonderful job of adding a sense of mystery & 'suspense' to a chill evening. So a big thank you!
We could never have guessed the nature of the tour, until we went there. Liam as our host was spectacular and a master story teller. He builds up the background and keep you engaged. It was a whole entertainment. Prague during late evening has a total different charm and even more spooky beautiful. Liam added the trivia and showed the photos or the physical locations to have a feel of more authenticity. We'd like to recommend this tour to everyone, even though it doesn't look like much. Go in there, you'll be surprised. Total money is worth. Keep going Liam! May you gain as much knowledge as the box, which Kepler longed.
Scott, our tour guide, was great at leading us around the areas of Prague we just wouldn't have seen before. The end of the tour, at the castle, was just stunning and so interesting to hear about the cathedral. Definitely recommend!
One of our highlights of Prague. Liam was our guide...what a great story teller. We highly recommend this tour, you will hear great stories and enjoy beautiful views from Prague at night. Thanks Liam, for the great time.
Very enjoyable, Liam our guide for the evening was very entertaining and knowledge. A fun way to send the evening.
We met our fearless guide Liam, who was dapper in his period costume of velvet gothic cloak and kerosene hurricane lamp to light our way. He didn’t let strange looks deter him, he plowed right through with stories of “esoteric” and “vivacious” alchemists of the time. His stories were quite unbelievable, and he didn’t always appreciate the humor my friend and I found in them. Seeing the castle at night was amazing though, especially without the crowds.
Fantastic tour, we really enjoyed the storytelling by Liam, and seeing the less-travelled mysterious sites in Prague. We really appreciate that the (english) tour continued with just the 2 of us joining. Very interesting and professional storytelling, still thinking about those stories and locations days after the tour.
It was magical, amazing and worth remembering experience. We got to see many beautiful (not overcrowded) spots and hear wonderful stories, legends and tales about Prague. Our guide was Scott - tremendously talented actor with wide knowledge and real gift for storytelling. For sure we will remember this tour as a delightful experience. Thank you very much Scott! ~ Natalia & Marta
We went to 2 tours - " Night Time Alchemy and Mysteries Walking Tour of Prague's Castle District" (our guide was Scott) and "The Dark Shadows of the Old Town (Ghosts of Prague) " (our guide was Liam). In addition to the fact that it's great to have an attraction at Prague at night, both of the guides were great! They are talented professional actors and make you feel like you're in there in a mysterious, creepy way. It was the highlight of our trip, don't miss! :)))
We joined the Black Angels of the Pague Castle tour as the Old Town tour was not available. I think the Old Town tour might be more interesting for our teenage girls but we loved the one we joined anyway. And that is thanks to Scott, whose storytelling was simply amazing. If he is as good an actor as a storyteller, I'd love to see him on stage!
Went there with my girlfriend. Seeing prague this way was an eye opener and you visit places that you wouldn't visit if you are alone! Scott did his job very very well. He told the stories of alchemists and the dark arts as he was there himself. Enjoyed every single word of it! I would recommend this tour if you wanna see prague in the late hours and if you are intrested in the legends that this beautiful town has hidden for you.
We went for the Alchemy Tour with Scott who was simply amazing. My husband and I had a wonderful time and could not recommend it enough.
Few people know that Prague was actually home to plenty of Alchemists back in the day. We spend couple of hours exploring this mysterious side of Prague and it's castle district with Mysterium tours and their awesome Alchemy and Mysteries Walking Tour... Highly recommended!

I didn't actually get to attend this tour. It was cancelled due to not enough people attending. However, the company called me a day in advance and asked if I would like to take a different tour or get a refund. I went ahead and went on their Old Town walking tour. Christina was the tour guide and she was excellent and knowledgeable of the old town. Loved it and highly recommend.

The best tour ever! We had so much fun with Peter! Loved the stories and the exhibition of Reon Argondian's art. Recommend this tour for sure. Thanks!

A very nice walking tour. With a very nice lady Lara, she told a great historical story. Is definitely recommended
He's a real charmer! Really good at his job. Surely when we return to Prague I will call him back. I invite you to try it at least once. I'm sure you'll be pleased. Best wishes you all a safe journey. MB
The tour was interesting, and although it was based on legends, there was no shortage of historical references. Andrea, our story teller, has been able to tell in a compelling way, but he has also been able to adapt the story to the children present, trying not to respond instill fear in them. He was, however, willing to answer our questions, demonstrating a good historical-artistic preparation. Advice.
excellent evening tour around Prague Castle, useful to see the area without tourists. Guide Liam told the stories very well even though he spoke very fast and if you do not understand English well you risk losing some points in the story
