The trip was fine in terms of pick up and drop off, however, the guide Stephan wasn't professional at all. He raised some multiple political issues that made the trip uncomfortable. He emphasized on these matters as if they were the main goal of the trip. He was obviously biased towards a certain group and was bothered about us being among the group. I wouldn't recommend going on this trip with Stephan at all.

Karolina was an exceptional tour guide Enjoyed my day trip to Karlovy Vary Beautiful architecture great restaurants & lovely gardens & scenery Had a good lunch & thoroughly enjoyed this trip outside Prague
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip, it was nice to have a driver and guide everything that is in description is included and was a great day trip, met interesting people and we hung out in Prague the next day
it was so nice to travel into the bohemian countryside for the day--karlovy vary is a pretty little spa town and a nice change of pace from hectic prague--our guide gustaf was great and full of information--we especially enjoyed the ride on the funicular and the views from the watch tower
Very interesting day tour to Karlovy Vary (the funicular was out of order that day) lead by Karolina. She explained what we were seeing on our drive there, and she provided an excellent guided tour of the town once we arrived. This included explanations of the allure of the thermal waters and the history of the town, ending at the iconic Grandhotel Pupp. We then had plenty of free time to explore on our own for the rest of the day before meeting back at the minibus for the trip back. It was a great way to get to/from there without having to navigate it on my own, and her explanations were very helpful and informative. Well worth the time and money to see this charming spa town!
Regrettably the funicular was out of operations due to flooding on the rails. Otherwise an enjoyable time at this spa town. Our guide had a lot to explain.
I did the tour with Karolina, and she was excellent, lots of explanation in English and Spanish. She made the tour very enjoyable.
Had a very interesting day and our guide, Karolina was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was able to communicate with all parties and had vast historical knowledge which made our trip extremely interesting. Our driver Ivan was very friendly and helpful. Thank you both for a very enjoyable day.
The travel to Carlovy Vary was nice and relaxed. Guide gave us a lot of general information and about Carlovy Vary. He was with us for about an hour after we reached Carlovy Vary from Prague. We then had four hour on our own. Unless you have booked a Spa or some other activity, that was a very long time; couple of hours should be enough. We were given information about the local bus and how to go to the tower ( I did not). Overall, a nice experience but not outstanding.
5 star on time. Stepan was very nice and gave good historical and informative presentation
We had a wonderful trip to Karlovy Vary with Premier City Tour! Our guide, Karolina, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. She shared interesting information about the city while keeping the tour relaxed and engaging. The driver was also very professional, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey throughout the day. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague and looking for a well-organised day trip to Karlovy Vary. Thank you, Karolina and the Premier City Tour team, for a lovely experience!
We had an absolutely wonderful trip to Karlovy Vary with Premier City Tour! A very special thank you to our guide, Karolina. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and passionate about what she does. She didn’t just share historical facts—she brought them to life. Every story felt like a beautiful fairy tale, making us feel as if we were traveling back in time. Karolina made everyone feel welcome and cared for throughout the entire journey. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine love for history made this experience truly unforgettable. Thanks to her, Karlovy Vary became much more than a beautiful town—it became a place full of magic, history, and unforgettable memories. Thank you, Premier City Tour, and especially Karolina, for such a heartfelt experience. We will gladly recommend your tours to our friends and hope to travel with you again soon!
The day trip to Karlovy Vary was very nice. The bus ride was not too long. Our tour guide, Jan, was very nice & helpful. The funicular attraction was great because the views of Czechia ‘ the surrounding areas was amazing & there was also a butterfly exhibit & a petting zoo up at the top of the mountain. There are lots of shops & restaurants there as well. I would definitely go back.
Excellent, excellent, excellent. I cannot overstate how quaint, beautiful, clean, this experience was. The architecture was incredible. If I had known how great it was I would have booked a night at one of the spa hotels to enjoy this beautiful town.
Very good gide Karolina! Nice program. Karlovi Vari amazing! It’s enough time for your private time there too.
The visit to Karlovy Vary was beautiful. We loved the town, which was quite impressive! The guided walking tour was too long. The information stated the tour was in English, but we were the only two English speakers in the group and the rest were Spanish speakers. Not that it was a problem, but the guided walking tour took much longer than expected because of all the translation. I would have preferred more time to ourselves to explore, but we ended up with only about 2 hours. The worst part was the driver. He was such an aggressive driver that he had many other drivers honking at him and giving some not so nice, but deserved hand gestures. I was glad we had our seat belts on because he was very dangerous.
Karlovy Vary is an attractive spa city, and made for a very enjoyable day out. Thank you to Stefan who presented to the group in both English and Spanish.
I will say the tour guide was absolutely wonderful!! She was so sweet and knowledgable. I think my only thing is that compared to other excursions in Czech/near Prague this might be a skip for me. However, the person I went with loved it so could be preference!
A very enjoyable day out with a great guide, as a solo traveller this assisted with sense of safety and enjoyment. Would recommend to singles and groups!
We had a wonderful day trip to Karlovy Vary and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The town itself is absolutely beautiful, with its elegant colonnades, charming streets, and relaxing spa atmosphere was truly a highlight of our trip. What made the day even more special was our guide, Karoline. She was fantastic: knowledgeable, friendly, and very engaging. Karoline shared interesting history and local stories, answered all our questions, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day. Her enthusiasm and professionalism really brought Karlovy Vary to life. Overall, it was a perfectly organized and enjoyable day trip. Highly recommended. Especially with a guide like Karoline!
Lots of talking by Europeans speaking people including children on the bus. Not mean just noisy. They understood English. Couldn't hear Karol. Heat and ac was an on off all the time. Need more space on bus to spread out. The tour in town was good but she was too slow. Plus she had surgery so couldn't walk faster. Also had to wait for others who took off for pictures. Didn't need the stop for 10 minutes at the cookie place. We left the group and didn't do the funicular but went to the Grand Hotel for lunch. Would have been good if she had the funicular tickets so we could go on our own. If the environment above is ok then go for it.
Great guidance with Andrea, very interesting tour, very knowledgable and friendly. Lots of free time for lunch and shopping.
Professional guide provided lots of good information along the way. Great place to visit. Karlovy Vary is a beautiful town.
It was a excellent day trip. Karlovy vary is amazing, the pastel buildings are incredibly ornate It is a town which has had extreme wealth flow through it for hundreds of years and this can be seen everywhere. It is truly a fairy tale.
Karolina was a great guide and made the experience wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Tony, our driver was fun as well.
Very professional and went out of there way to make sure everything was done. Excellent guide and driver
I was unsure about whether to visit Karlovy Vary as the reviews were mixed and I’m so very happy I did! What a delightful time exploring Karlovy Vary with Karolina from Premiant City Tours. Karolina brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and energy to the tour. The tour includes a funicular ticket to see Karlovy Vary from above, simply stunning, plus approx a 2.5h hour tour with Karolina another 2.5hours to explore as you like. Definitely ample time to explore this gorgeous town and to sit at a cafe as well. Highly recommend Karlovy Vary and Karolina!
We enjoyed the trip, the bus was comfortable and our guide was very informative. The town is very pretty and the funicular ride up to Diana Tower was fun. There is an elevator in the tower to the top so saves having to walk up 150 steps and the views are spectacular. The negatives for me would be as follows- 1. A clearer instruction on exactly where to meet and that you have to report to a small kiosk would have saved us standing at the bus being ignored by the drivers and guides who were there, when we asked what looked like a tour guide and she very gruffly told us to go to the kiosk. 2. The description of the trip is not what we got. It stated 4 hours in Karlovy Vary and 2 hours at Diana Tower. Once the guide took us round the springs and up to the funicular we only had about 3 hours free time. It was fine for us as we didn’t have anything to eat or did much shopping but for others I think they were unhappy with that. 3. Contact information should be checked as a couple of ladies on our trip didn’t appear back at the allotted time and the guide couldn’t get in touch with them. He eventually found out they’d had to go to the Hospital. They could have advised the guide quicker if an emergency number had been provided or if the guide had had their numbers to check where they were. We left half an hour late due to the guide trying to find them.
Karolína was great very knowledgeable. It was a nice tour a full day. I was thrilled to see the grand hotel pupp. I am such a fan of last holiday. It was a good excursion from Prague.
we would like to say a big thank you to Karolina our tour guide to Karlovy Vary. she was amazing, from the minute we started our trip she was feeding us with history throughout Prague and beyond. A very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable woman. Lots of recommendations for our free time during the tour. Also so many more for our evening and the next day, restaurants, galleries, museums, concerts, churches, exhibitions, shopping!! a big thank you goes out to our driver George who made the return journey so easy by dropping us at the metro station , 11 minutes ride to our hotel !!😊
Most beautiful town I have ever seen - wow. Tour guide Karolina was brilliant - friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable - couldn’t have had better time
It was a very nice tour, just the right amount of time spent in Karlovy Vary. The bus was clean and comfortable. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Two things to be aware of, you stop for a restroom break on the way, it’s a very small gas station, they charge 10 kc to use the bathrooms and they are dirty with a long line. And second, there were no charging outlets on the bus. All in all a great tour.
The town is charming and interesting, and well worth the visit. We weren't blown away by the guide, but she was sufficiently informative. Having all of the information delivered in two languages (Spanish and English; kudos to the guide for her linguistic abilities!) slowed things down a bit, and we ended up feeling like we didn't have much free time after the tour was done.
During our stay in the Czech Republic we chose the excursion to Karlovy Vary through the company Premiant city tour. We had an amazing tour guide, very kind and consummate professional, Jarka, who guided us all around the area up to the hill we climbed by teleferic. We had a great day. Jarka (tour guide) helped us understand the history of the area through the monuments and buildings. Froso-Polina
Great day trip, quaint little village, would have been happy to stay a bit longer. Our guide Karolina was full of stories, all very interesting
Amazing experience on a full day trip to Karlovy Vary with Karolina as our guide. She was extremely well versed with the history of the place and explained us very nicely. Had a great time at an amazing place, Karlovy Vary the spa town.
This was a pleasant trip with a nice guide. The town is nice to walk and enjoy the water. We liked the funicular and the meal at the top. The cost was rather steep for the length of this trip.
It is a stunning place to visit many beatiful buildings to see lots of lovely resturants and cafes. I felt that we could have done with a little more time there.
Very enjoyable day trip with knowledgeable guide and driver. Lots of time to explore the town after a guided tour - I chose to walk down the mountain after the funicular and glad I did.
What a terrible waste of time and money The description given for activities within were not correct and did not take place What a waste of a day
A trip to Karlovy Vary was an enjoyable day trip out of Prague. Our guide Karolina was so friendly, we felt like family. The hot springs are interesting and different. The ride up the funicular to the watchtower gives you a good view of the beauty of the homes, businesses and landscape.
Had an amazing time. The tour guide, Karolina was amazing and was extremely knowledgeable of the history of not only Karlovy Vary but also the history of the Czech Republic. She was very calm and patient. I would definitely recommend this tour. The place itself was beautiful and although one of the main springs was closed it was well worth the trip.
The place is like a fairy tale, it's wonderful, the guide was okay, the schedule organization could have been better! The driver was super professional and attentive!
We took this tour because the tours to the medieval town we wanted to go to did not run on mondays. It was a very small group. The tour guide tried very hard but there simply wasn’t much to talk about. The town has some mineral springs which had drinks from but apart from that it is an expensive rich persons resort town and as the two activities listed were unavailable to us on the day ( an elevator breakdown which our guide knew about but didn’t tell us about until we arrived and a trip to a lookout on very crowded public buses that did not eventuate ) we simply walk around the town for four hours then drove back to Prague. Bad luck aside it’s not a terribly interesting place but it’s a day outside of the city
It would appear that neither the driver nor the tour guide were informed that Karlovy Vary was hosting the world triathlon race which meant road closures. The tour guide also wasn't informed that the tour we booked was supposed to include the visit to the glass factory which was closed. Also closed was the funicular and Diane's view point which was also advertised as being part of the tour. Therefore 3 hours was far too long free time. So definitely not the tour we paid for! Despite that it was a beautiful town and worth the visit.
The trip is worth the price. Sophia was our guide and I highly recommend the tour with Sophia and this tour company. Make sure not to take electronic tour and take live guided tour.
The trip is well-organized and comfortable. Our guide, Michaela, was not only friendly but also extremely knowledgeable. She effortlessly provided explanations in both English and Spanish, ensuring a seamless experience without any wasted time or waiting around while she explained things in the second language. You will have approximately 2 hours of free time, allowing you to either grab a bite to eat or stroll around and appreciate the beautiful scenery.
Incredible trip today out of Prague to Karlovy Vary with Tony our driver and Eva our guide. Informative conversation in the van on the way there. Brief 10 minute stop for break halfway. (Drinks or toilet) Great walk through town with Eva guiding us and giving history of the thermal waters. Purchased small spa cup and warm spa wafers. Be sure to bring Czech cash. Most vendors don't accept credit cards. After walk through spa area sampling the waters Eva took us to the funicular. It took us to top of mountain overlooking the town to Diana tower. Beautiful views from all sides in the open air tower. After tower Eva gave us option to walk to see the Russian Orthodox church. It was hills to walk so we declined but others on trip went and said it was really nice. We then had about 2 hr 15 min of free time in town. Walk along river, shop, eat lunch, take photos. Purchased a Gelato in the park. It was delicious. I highly recommend this trip and Eva and Tony. We left Prague at 8:45 am and returned by 5:45 pm. Fabulous and thanks for a great time.
Eva was very good cooperative and friendly guide and we enjoyed it, thank you and we will see you again
