The show was nice but tends to get a little bit to loud with the constant drums and bagpipes. If sitting on the end you could get burned or poked with swords if not careful. The lightning was really bad, could not see anything on the tables and not able to take photos. The food was not really great. Had five courses. Do not know what the half of the food was and the taste was very mild. Had the pig for main course and it was really big but hard to cut though so it was mostly just bone. Can't say that I got home hungry but the food was just meh. Hard to get service of drinks. Overall Nice show but food not so great.
Well decorated underground cavern with tables for 10 laid out. Entertainment interactive and lively and kept up throughout the evening and during the food. Plentiful drink flowing as required. Food poor quality and cheaply done (no surprise for this type of event) but service efficient. Go for a good night's entertainment but don't expect a great meal
The entertainment was ok but We were placed at the other end of the table and couldn’t really see. The magician never came to our table as he found a table with a large group of girls. The food was not very good. We had ordered vegan but were served a starter of meat. When we told them, they seemed irritated and it took a long time before one of us had a vegan starter. Next up was bowl of potato soup, which was actually the best thing. Third course was pearl barley and a piece of pie, but it was served in the most sloppy way and the guys at my end of the table only had a really small portion. The vegan serving was a bowl of rice with vegetables. The vegan main course was mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables on a skewer but the pork knuckle was so greasy and full of fat, that no one at my table finished it. The dessert was a piece of really dry cake, which was not served on a plate but just “take a piece and eat it”. The vegan dessert was a bowl of freshly cut fruit. The drinks, beer and red wine was watered down and in the pictures it looks like you’re only sitting 6 people on each side of the aisle but there was actually 10 people on each side. We were packed so close that we could barely get out to go to the bathroom! All in all I am not sure it was worth £50.
A nice, light very, traditional experience. Staff was great. Excellent performances. A must for visitors in Prague.
Absolutely awful evening. The entertainment was ok but you couldn’t see it, the magician only managed to go to two tables and not ours, he spent most of his time with a very large group of young girls from America. Large single sex groups should not be allowed as they were so noisy it was like having your dinner in an American college with constant shouting of chug, chug at the same time as they were trying to talk to someone at the other end of a bench of 15. I would maybe have given 2 stars if they had not been there. The food was awful, a pitiful starter, followed by the only edible course a bowl of potato soup, then some pearl barley slopped onto the plate 1970s school dinner style with a piece of pie, my main course, a pork knuckle, was only fit for making a stock as there was no meat on it to speak of as for the dessert a piece of dried out cake, add some custard and it might have been nice but as it was it was very difficult to chew very stale and dry, was it worth £50 a head definitely not. If you really want a medieval night don’t choose this one try another, in all honesty you’re better finding a nice restaurant and spending your money there!
The Show was nice, it is entertaining. I was a little bit concerned about the "fire-show, and the shawl's the girls swirled aound with candles close by. The only negative was the pick-up. The driver didn't assist my friend who had injured her ankle, she had to help herself in the car. He also looked at his messages while driving, so no good experience there.
This show was absolutely amazing!! The food was great and the wine and beer were plentiful! Appropriate for all age groups, including children, as long as they aren't sensitive to loud noises. It does get very loud during the show with the music and cheering, but we sat at a table with a 4 year old and he didn't mind at all! The food was tremendous and the performers were very talented and entertaining! We went to the show on the first night of our visit to Prague, and I am so glad that we did! It is an excellent value for the money, and we truly enjoyed ourselves. What a fantastic introduction to a beautiful city!
5 courses were ok but nothing to shout home about. The show was ok but couldn’t get over how hot it was downstairs it was like a sauna. The unlimited beer and wine must of been watered down drank pints and pints and didn’t feel a thing, very odd. We had to leave before the end as it was just too hot. Left feeling a slight disappointment
The place is ok if they could turn down the heat. Its like sitting together With 100 persons in a sauna and eat dinner. Free beer is ok but you cant enjoy it becourse of the heat. Entertainment was ok With musik and dansing but the fighting belong in the kindergarden. All over 2 stars of 6 and most becourse of the heat.
The show itself is interesting, but not in any way particular. Also the organisation left a lot to be desired. The show was supposed to start at 8pm, while at 8:30 there were still hunders of people waiting in the queue as the ticket check started with delay. There was chaos, everybody was pushing to enter as first and the staff was not reacting. There were mistakes with food preferences too. When we expressed our opinion, we didn't hear anything like sorry, or so... the only thing was "you have understand, later started = later finished, what's the problem"
Unfortunately this was our only let down of Prague. Dint get me wrong there was good aspects to the evening. The band that played (drums and pipes) were very talented and the belly dancers extremely skilled. That was as good as the evening got though. The food was very sub standard, with the exception of the soup we didn't eat the rest (we did try every course) but it just didn't taste very nice. The food was "dolloped" onto the plate and portion sizes were very small. Depending on where your sat you either get a great view of the entertainment or none atall. Your a packed in like sardines. The "begger" walking around asking for tips aswell isn't something that went down well. The acts in themselves were good, if they passed by your table, but overall nowhere near the £50 a head they were charging. Sadly very disappointed and I probably wouldn't recommend this to friends or family. There are other acts in the city providing the same entertainment without the costly price per head. Sadly have to give this a 2 out of 5. Please note the staff that we encountered were generally helpful but on the whole it was disappointing.
Well organised, great entertainment show, food was good, talented lovely staff, free flowing beer and wine. Worth the money.
The food was really bad, the show was mediocre, you were sort of sitting on other people's laps, no space, there was a hair in my food, the food was bland and tasteless. Appetizer was dry bread, dessert was dry cake. Main course bland chicken. Dancers could not belly dance. Furthermore, it was only screaming during the "fight" which was not a fight. Only the music sounded medieval to me. For €250 for our family, I really expected much more. Waste of my money and evening. Choose another medieval dinner show in Prague, but not this one. I had one request with my reservation: not in the draft because of a sensitive neck, I was directly in the draft. Despite 8 times being indicated, they did nothing about it.
It's not worth it, a deception, it looks without paying admission, cinemas with people you don't know, anyway it's money you can use for something else
Truly into the darkness to experience the Middle Ages. Good and somewhat raw show, fitting for the Middle Ages. Also surprisingly good food for such a large group. Drinks were available at will. Enthusiastic performances. Recommended for children aged 6 to 14.
Very good meal and very generous! Superb animation! We had a wonderful evening, I recommend it! You will not be disappointed!
