John, our tour guide, asked if we could hear him in the back of the van. We could not. He spoke 2 sentences louder than back to unable to hear him. I said again I could not hear him, he said that's as loud as it gets. Therefore I did not get any history or information regarding what was happening or what to expect when we got to our stop. When out of the van I mentioned that we heard nothing, what's happening are we to follow you or meet at a time? John was very dismissive and said that's just the way it is. Extremely dissapointed, did not get the same experience as the front of the van.

The guide was phenomenal. Friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about her job, and patient. She had many good recommendations and had an amazing sense of fashion. I learned a lot and the church we saw at the end actually was my highlight more than the ossuary. As cool as it was. I was sad we couldn’t take pictures but the concept they came up with was very beautiful.
Lucy led a fascinating tour and was very well versed on the history of the sites we toured. The cathedral was especially interesting, with none off the crowds you'd see in Prague. Great opportunity to see the Czech countryside!
This was great very informative Stephan was a great English/ Spanish speaking guide . We would use this company again. Highly recommended
The main reason for our trip was Sedlec Ossuary. That part was 5 out of 5. However we had 2 problems with the trip. We got rushed around everywhere. I understand the nature of the trip requires some rushing, but the trip was not relaxing at all. Second, our booking was for an english tour. In reality there were 3 languages on our small bus and the guides took turns talking. Calling it an "english tour" is not exactly true. This was especially frustrating when time was limited and we had to stand around waiting for the other language translations
Our tour guide Jan was great! And master of so many languages!! The churches were great, nice to get out of Prague for a day.
Tatiana was really knowledgeable and were able to answer any questions we had. And she was funny! I really appreciated not having to go through the hassle of getting myself to the ossuary etc and learning more about the Czech republic on the way.
My partner was really excited to go to the bone church as it has been on his bucket list forever. The tour guide rushed through the first two churches which included the bone church. Online it says you get 30 mins at the bone church —we maybe got 15 mins in the and was rushed around the church. The tour guide never waited for people in the group the gather around she just Briskly walked around stopping saying information and quickly walking to the next. She seemed to stop more for people to buy things outside of the tour rather than let people explore a bit inside the churches. My partner was very disappointed and we don’t think it’s worth it to get a guided tour. If you can access a car or go on your own we would’ve preferred doing that. The last church we had more time to be able to do things on our own. But again she rushed through the church and walked out of the church not even checking in with folks if they wanted to stick around and look. We stayed behind and let the group go without us and were able to explore upstairs and another area which she didn’t even go with the group too. We were happy to not join her. Not sure if I would recommend this to people because of it.
The Guide was very knowledgeable. Ride was comfortable. We got to see many beautiful churches, including the Bone church. Which was amazing.
Our guide, Sofia, is terrific. The sites are very nice - but not off the charts great. The drive is a bit lengthy with traffic
Kutna Hora is a gorgeous, hilly town with cobblestone streets. I went for the "bone chapel," a bizarre and surreal chapel filled with artistically arranged skulls and bones, but St. Barbara's Church was so much more impressive! I seek out historic churches, and including the chapel, we saw three, each with their own character and charm. Best of all was our tour guide Jakub, a fountain of enthusiasm and information. He was able to speak with authority on all matters of interest, artistic, architectural, historical, political, and religious in such a way that we could grasp the complexities of an ancient culture still emerging from the crushing Soviet years. Would do this again in a heartbeat. And yes, the bones were cool.
Good tour. You see not only the “ bone chapel” but some areas and church around town. There is a bit of walking
The trip started out alright. Since we were crossing from one country to another, I asked if we would be switching trains, and was told no at the Glowny train station. But once on board an hour, we were told that a recent accident rendered the trip past Bohumin impossible because of track damage. We would therefore be transferring to buses for the remainder of the trip and there would be people to help. ( it was the snack attendant who told me that in fact we would be transferring to another train once we arrived in Ostrava). When we got to Behumin, no assistance was given. We had to get our luggage off the train, there were no directions to where the buses would be, and once found, we had to load our luggage on the bus without help, while the driver chatted with a colleague. The bus ride was only 15 minutes, but there were no staff available to direct us to our new train. We saw that the next train to Prague was leaving in 15 minutes, so we went down to the right platform. When the train arrived, we went to the first class carriage, showed our ticket, and was refused access. We were told that this was not our train, and given zero information about our correct train. In the meantime, most of the people who were with us on the bus, who had second class tickets boarded the train and left, leaving us stranded on the platform, wondering what we were supposed to do. Finally we returned to the main part of the station, and asked what to do at the ticket window. We were given a new reservation for the next train, leaving in another 45 minutes, without any explanation as to if we were supposed to see them first in order to get on the first train, or if this was in fact the replacement train. It was all very stressful and aggravating. It is not like we were the cause of the track failure. You would think there would have been an agent at Ostrava to welcome us there, and to instruct us what to do. We felt abandoned by Deutche Bahn, as if we did not exist. Poor show DB. We gave this trip a single star, for the excellent ride and service once aboard the train taking us to Prague.
This was among the worst tours I've experienced. The tour guide was disengaged throughout, and when she did speak, she was very difficult to understand. It disturbs me to write such a negative review, but unfortunately in this case it was warranted.
Tour was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided great information about the area. We also had about an hour of free time, which was nice to be able to wander around on our own.
Starting with the bus ride to the destination, it was stiflingly hot. We managed to get some air flow above our seats but then the driver turned it off. Everyone complained about it but it was the same on the return journey. No consideration for the comfort of passengers. Another issue on the bus ride was the tour guide. Very softly spoken and could not hear him. He asked if we could hear him and when we said ‘no’ it did not change. At the destinations the bus did not drop off anywhere near them. This led to long walks that were not part of the description on Viator. The guide showed no consideration to the slowest people in the group. He did not wait for people to arrive at tour points and started to give information about the tour without the slowest people being present. The biggest joke was that the last stop was free time with a meeting point at a BUS STOP. We all met at the BUS STOP and then had to walk across town to meet our BUS. The tour guide was also too quiet, had a thick accent and was hard to understand. The tour we paid for was English speaking but it turned out to be multi languages. This meant the guide had to say everything twice which was very boring to wait through. This lead to people walking off from the group and the tour fell apart. We could have paid a lot less to get to the destinations ourselves, and learned more from the signs around the destinations than we did from the guide. Very angry about this tour
Well worth a visit with the right guide. Bone church was fascinating and lovely cathedral. Afew steps to manage
The Bone Church is a very cool experience. The other churches are like all the other churches across Europe and redundant but our guide had a lot of good knowledge and info. Needed more time for souvenir shopping at both the Bone Church gift store and City Center town. Most shops were closed by the time we had free time. Still had a good time and would recommend.
Excellent guide, Well executed tour. We Had plenty of times to explore the different sites without being too bogged down.
We did not use any of the tour services but Uber'd out from Prague. Fantastic countryside and the Cathedral is amazing. This small city has many nearby restaurants and small shops and worth the effort.
Ran a tad bit longer than expected but between the tour & guide it was definitely worth. Very happy I went and would highly recommend to anyone. Extremely comfortable ride.
It’s worth it for the ossuary but the hour of “free time” in a tourist trap should be shorter or replaced with tickets to the art gallery or one of the other medieval churches.
A very good comprehensive tour. Stefan was an excellent tour guide and he made sure to answer everyone’s questions. We expressed interest in the statues between St Barbara’s Cathedral and the town and he stopped and let everyone take pictures (many were interested).
Fabulous tour - please be mindful you are unable to take photos at the site - incredible just to look at. An hour out of Prague
The guide was average, did not spend a lot of time explaining. The whole tour was just church after church. The town was not particularly beautiful.
Guide was great.. its not a very vibrant place to go to however the history was well presented by the guide Milada Bone church was one of a kind and spooky.
It was a great tour! Awesome tour guide and the small group all very nice people. Loved it Highly recommended for all tourists.
The trip was amazing, our guide Stefan was very knowledgeable about Prague and the areas surrounding, giving us much information.
Beautiful and interesting tour! Definitely worth the time and cost. Highly recommended! FYI they don’t allow photos inside the bone church.
I do not recommend this tour. It had no structure. The tour guide rudely told the group that as they were taking pictures its was pointless in her speaking. Her English was very poor. We were not given a layout of the day. We were rushed through and four hours later were told we had two hours to ourselves. The village was small and everything was closed for the day so it was extremely boring to kill two hours of time. The time would have been better spent learning more of the places we went.
Stefano and our wonderful driver were both brilliant. Stefano not only talk to us in English but also Spanish and German.. he is very knowledgeable and talented. Kutna Hora is small and half day was just right amount of time to spend in each stop.
We highly recommend! Our guide was Tatiana and she was excellent! She was knowledgeable, engaging and well aware of all the people in the group. She provided a ton of information in the afternoon tour, gave good overview of the churches and cathedral history, background information along the way to Kutna Hora. Well worth the money and time. We would love to visit in warmer weather though 🤪 ….
Eva was knowledgeable and kept the tour at s good pace. Good experience at the ossuary. Transport was prompt and comfortable.
Kunta Hora is beautiful, full of history, and well worth the trip. The Ossuary/ bone church and St. Barbara's cathedral are one of a kind experiences. Our driver was a very smooth driver. Unfortunately, our guide did not speak English very well, and chose to talk to the driver in Czech for most of the trip. I would recommend the trip as it is the easiest way to get to Kunta Hora from Prague.
Our guide was fantastic! Anna The driver was friendly and drove very safely. A great day out exploring the romantic streets and restaurants.
Great price for this trip!! Half a day was perfect for this trip. It was a nice break from the city and a nice dive into history!
Everything went well. Pickup was nice and easy the tour guy was fantastic very knowledgeable had a great day
The pictures from this place speak for themselves! This bone church is one of the most fascinating places I have ever visited! I would DEFINATELY recommend anyone to go!
We really wanted to see the bone church. We booked this tour at the last minute because I liked that it went in the afternoon, giving us the morning in the city. Our guide Sophia was awful. Very difficult to understand, and rambling, confusing facts. Would start on one subject, jump to something else, "but I'll tell you about that later", never returned to the original thought. Absolutely zero enthusiasm and disinterested in engaging her participants in the subject matter, but was insistent that the whole group follow her around and quietly listen to her nonsensical ramblings like we were first graders on a field trip. Literally put me to sleep on the bus with her monotone. We were the youngest couple on the bus (50's) and the others became easily tired. Sophia had no patience for the stragglers, lots of eye rolling and exasperated sighing. She was obviously appalled and fed up by the behavior of others in the various places we went. We went by a store she didn't approve of (Halloween stuff), and she tsk'd and "that's awful"'d her way past it. She shushed people in the bone church. There was a 25 minute stop in the center of town that she acted as though she was doing a favor for us to make. When we got on the bus, our driver got lost on the curvy little streets before we finally made it out. We did not tip her as we left. And we're Americans, we tip everybody!
This was supposed to be a guided tour in English. Our guide’s English was not good. Most people on the trip couldn’t understand what she said. We saw the sights but left with little information on what we saw. She acted like it was a bother to even have to show us around. Very poor experience.
The bone church is simply astounding. One of, if not the coolest, most interesting, and most unique place I have ever visited. The rest of the stops on the tour are honestly a bit lackluster and not the most interesting, but the bone church more than makes up for it. All around, a pleasant day outside the city with one of the most unique and macabre places you can visit.
Great afternoon out. I have never seen anything like the bone church. It needs to be seen to be believed. After the churches we had an hour or so to look round the village. Found a lovely little cafe and had some great cheap food. Highly recommended.
We were the only two on this trip and so really appreciated the fact that they didn't cancel and went ahead with the tour. Kutna Hora is a must see and our guide was great throughout giving us a good insight into each place visited and enough free time built in to allow us to explore on our own a little further. Really enjoyed this trip, bone church is something unique and quite moving whilst the church of St Barbara and Kutna Hora itself is just lovely to explore.
Interesting little half-day tour to visit the bone church and to walk through the little town. The guide-Sofia-was good, and funny, too. Nice to be part of a small group, also. Got a few minutes to shop at the store next to the bone church! Very glad to be able to do that. Nice to get out of the city for an afternoon ant that it's only a half-day tour.
Karolina was a wonderful guide. Her patriotism and knowledge of the region was communicated through captivating storytelling. It was a relaxing day out.
I'd be better of going to this day trip all by myself. Sure the guide had some knowledge but she wasn't even making an effort to be juuust a bit enthusiastic about it. Her accent was super difficult to understand in nation that everyone speaks good English and in the end she showed us a meeting point from the top of the hill somewhere between the houses and then she said I should have been clearer. No way...it's sad because the place was beautiful
Great way to spend a day from Prague. The ossuary at Sedlec is probably not for the faint-hearted, but if you like weird places it must not be missed! Tour with Premiant, taking most of a day.
What an amazing day just the two of us along with our guide and another guide from Chile so sorry can't remember your names, Tony was the driver. We enjoyed an amazing tour and enjoyed chatting with you both over a beer and chianti. Good memories. Thank you
The trip to Kutna Hora was unique and interesting! We learned a lot from our guide. The town was very quiet on a Monday with most shops closed -but made the locations we visited not busy also. Recommend this excursion!
Really incredible opportunity to see the ossuary at Kutna Hora and two of the churches key to the region's development. The bone church is stunning and I really liked that photos were not allowed, as it meant everyone moved around the space thoughtfully and fluidly. Our guide, Eva, gave lots of context and information about the mining industry in the area and our lovely driver Ivan got us there and back safe and sound. Amazing day!
