Martin the pick up driver- the most depressing and rude person you could ever meet. Why does a tourism company even hire such drivers who are plain sad, rude, and condescending. The 10 hour duration tour encompasses 6 hr drive round trip, 1.5 hours of touring castle,- and the remaining 1-2 hours left to explore the city which is a plain lie when expectations are to be discussed. The guide lady was completely lost and didn’t know how to direct us so everyone including others abandoned her!! What a waste of money, time, day, and resources.

It is a good way to see more or Prague. A full day experience. It was very hot when we went, so I suggest to take bathers as there is a river you can swim in. I wish I had taken mine. Ava was a great guide and very helpful.
Bus wasn’t very comfortable.
Fantastic trip and very knowledgeable guide. Couldn’t have asked for more. The team ran to time and gave us sufficient time during the day to have lunch and afternoon tea.
This was a 10/10 tour. We have been on many tours over the years and this was the best yet. Veronica was an amazing historian and told us so much about this city and it's history. She is an excellent guide and our driver was also wonderful. This was the best day of our European vacation and we highly recommend it.
This company used a small cramped 18 seater minibus that lacked Conditioning for this tour. The driver did a good job and arrived there and back on time. However, although they did a pick-up in the morning on the return journey the only drop off was adjacent the Florenc coach station, which did not suit some passengers. The tour guide was hindered in his commentary on the bus by an inadequate sound system which meant that he could not be heard by those in the rear half of the bus. His general demeanor during the whole tour was somewhat taciturn and appeared to be going through the motions rather than enjoying his job. At times the tour was rather rushed and more time to take in and appreciate the surroundings would have been welcome. Indeed a later departure from Cesky Krumlov perhaps a hour or so later would have much improved the tour.
It wasn’t organised well. They didn’t drop me back at pick up when they were meant to. The guide was not very nice and didn’t care . Meant to be English tour but he was talking another language to a couple which was very annoying and took ages and we were so behind anyway . So nit real happy
Beautiful little medieval town, great restaurants by the water, lots of history. Comfortable mini van.
Location is beautiful but our guide was horrible. Wasted 90 minutes for an English tour of the palace. She should have known the schedule. She left us at the castle never came back next time we saw her was at the departure meeting spit. When we stated our dissatisfaction She became rude and was silent entire ride back. She should be fired
Good trip, enjoyed the trip to the castle and the town- picturesque is one word I would use, had a lovely experience right from pick up to drop off!!
Do not book with this unprofessional tour operator I booked and paid for the Full day Cesky Krumlov tour from Prague The tour was confirmed and they confirmed pick up address at the hotel for the 8th January, I then received a notification that the tour had been cancelled and the next available day was the 10th January I had asked them to book me for the 10th January and they come back said it was not available I am so angry and annoyed with this operator as I had been looking forward to the day tour from Prague Very disappointing and appalling customer service!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS DODGY UNPROFESSIONAL OPERATOR!!!! Thanks for wasting my time and money and ruining my holiday!!!!
We travelled with two Italian women and Martin was our guide and bus driver. He picked us up at our hotel and was very informative and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Ceske Krumlov and the company.
We scheduled this day trip after being cancelled the last minute by a different tour company (Bohemia Walks - stay away from this company) Our hotel did a great job arranging and had the driver pick us up right at the hotel - added bonus. Martin was our driver/guide and did a nice job. The day was well paced and Cesky Krumlov is a great destination. Martin took us to a good restaurant by the river and sat with us for lunch. The tour concluded with a guided tour of the Castle by a fabulous young lady. At the end Martin was right there to escort us back to the van. There were only three of us and Martin was a pleasure to be with us and provided much useful information in route and at Cesky .... THANKS
Our guide was great and we could understand his English well. We absolutely loved the tour in the castle.
Our driver got us safely to the Cesky Krumlov and back to Prague as it was about 5.5 hours of driving. Our tour guide gave us good history on the way to Cesky Krumlov. The tour guide of the castle was very informative and made the tour fun. It was a long day, but worth it!
I was the only person on the tour as it was in the off season and my guide, Jan, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and we chatted non stop all the way. His knowledge of the history of Prague and Cesky Krumlov was excellent. He explained the castle and gave me a personal tour through the museum explaining everything I wanted to know plus more. I had plenty of free time and was able to see everything I wanted to. Great driver and good English. A very enjoyable day.
We had primarily booked a tour instead of taking the train because we wanted an English guide. But the guide Anna( or Iana?) had a heavy accent and could not speak grammatically correct English either, so after a while one just stopped listening altogether. Thankfully the castle tour was done by another guide there, so it was much better. Would recommend that you try another operator with better guides for this trip
A little rushed through the tour of the castle, wasn't given time to take pictures. Dropped off far from the hotel because of the narrow streets but found on the walk back they could have dropped us off closer.
Our tour guide was Anna. She was great. She did have a pretty heavy accent, so we had to listen very carefully. They picked us up at our hotel near Mala Strana and drove us over to Wenceslas Square. We then transferred to a large van (mid-sized bus), which held ~20 people. It was comfortable. It took us a good 3+ hours to get to Cesky Krumlov, primarily due to back traffic. Anna spoke nearly the entire way and then lead us around the city for ~20 minutes, then gave us ~2 hours of free time. We met at the town center at ~3:15pm and Anna took us to the Castle for a tour. We then caught the bus back at 5:30pm and got back at ~8:00pm. We paid $100 per person but, if I had to do it again, I would have rather just caught a bus from Prague's main station on gone on our own for ~$18 per person round trip. But we're pretty self-sufficent and can read history on our phones. But if you like tour guides, this is a good one.
From the pickup to the drop-off it was a great experience, The group was very friendly and a very special 5-stars to our guide Jaroslav who did an excellent job. He is very pleasant and competent and knowledgeable as well as fleunt in many languages. He is an asset to your company.

Beautiful city with lots of history, longer bus ride would be only downside

Short version: No control over the group; Poorly planned itinerary; Unsympathetic toward the needs of those with handicaps; Reckless driving on back roads; Driver and guide got in a snit; Driver refused to drop us at hotel; AND THEN DRIVER INTENTIONALLY HIT ME WITH THE DOOR as we got out. Our guide lost control over the group of about 25 even before we got to Cesky. Instead of someplace cute our guide stopped at McDonald's where she couldn't round everyone up. That lack of control continued throughout the tour, ending with 2 people causing us to leave Cesky over an our late ... finally getting us back to the hotel 1930-2200. 23 of us waited for 2 tourists for over an hour because the guide never established ground rules or kept close tabs on her group. My friends and I have orthopedic problems. The Castle at Cesky is on the side of a steep hill with a great overlook. Instead of stopping for the Castle tour on the way DOWN the hill, she marched us past the Castle to a restaurant for lunch, then marched us UP the hill for the Castle tour, and then marched us DOWN the hill for what we thought was the rendezvous with the bus. I was able to make it. My friends were not. They didn't get to see the inside of the Castle ... which they paid for. One by-product of not controlling her group and the needless backtracking, was there was only 15 minutes allowed to see the town and shop. In addition, rather than bringing the coach to the town square, as we were led to believe, those of us with handicaps were forced to walk about another mile to a parking lot where we cooled our heels while awaiting 2 people who left the tour to go shopping. I can only surmise this company is too cheap to pay for the privilege of driving its coach into the town square where taxis and private vehicles drive and park daily. Now, being over an hour late to depart Cesky we encountered a highway closure. Our driver went off on back roads ... now at night ... but now because he's late (for who knows what) he starts driving like a maniac ... screeching tires ... sudden braking ... improper use of headlights at night, etc. Others in our tour began to yell at him. We had a very pregnant woman aboard. On the way back we made NO comfort stops. We made 2 on the way to Cesky. None on the way back. At some point along Mr. Toad's Wild Ride the driver and the guide got into an argument. I don't speak Czech so who knows over what. That persisted until the guide left the coach at the hotel stop immediately before ours. The guide should have stayed with the coach, but who knows what she was late for. Now, here's where it gets really good. Our hotel is next, right? The driver stops in the middle of a dark intersection, opens the door, and says the name of our hotel, "Unic." "Where?" I said. "Unic," he says. "Where?" He points to the street. I tell him I don't see the hotel and he must take us there. He moves the bus forward about 20 feet, opens the door and says, "Unic." And we go through the same routine ... "where?" ... "Unic ... "Take us there," etc. Our hotel, it turns out, was about a half block down the street but we didn't recognize the dark intersection where he was attempting to abandon us. All of this would have been avoided had the guide stayed aboard. I was the last of my party of 4 to get off the coach. As I was getting off, one foot on the ground, the other on the coach, he closed the door on my shoulder, nearly knocking me to the ground. I'm 100% positive he did it intentionally because we wouldn't get out of the coach in an unfamiliar spot. It's 4+ hours each way by bus. Do yourself a favor: take the train, spend the night, and enjoy the little town on your way to someplace else. But for heaven's sake never go with Best Tour.

Cesky Krumlov is a lovely town and worth the visit. Our guide got off to a rough start - she missed her bus to work. It happens. We had hoped we would be moving to a bigger bus but no. The seats are narrow so we were pretty squished for the entire drive. The driver was pretty herky jerky so it was hard to get relaxed. Once we were at Cesky Krumlov our guide filled us in on the history. Her English was not perfect but if we listed carefully we understood. She would take off for the next sight but forget to tell us to follow so we would be taking pictures and she would be gone. Lunch was.....really horrible. We were given some free time to explore on our own. She gave us plenty of time. We met back at the meeting place at the time we were told to and next thing you know we have to take off at a sprint to get to the castle for the last tour. She could have cut off our free time by 5 even 10 minutes so that we could have walked. The tour guide at the castle was knowledgeable and it was a very good tour. No pictures are allowed in the castle. We headed back to Prague in the same uncomfortable bus with the same driver who got VERY irate at having to drop one of our single travelers at her hotel. It was still a very lovely day and we had wonderful traveling companions. A few glitches makes for interesting travel stories.

It was a great trip Bus was comfortable Guide was very knowledgeable. We met lovely people.
The lunch was good and the castle tour was outstanding

Great small group of 10 to see this historic Cesky. Long day from Prague, but good one.

Cesky Krumlov is a Fairy Tale castle and town. Probably the most picturesque we have ever seen. The tour guide, Gula, was great, we had a good lunch in a nice restaurant and plenty of time to wander around the town. The Castle was beautiful but the official tour guide was a little difficult to understand so we missed some of the information and got a little tired focusing so intently hoping to catch what was being said. That being said, Cesky Krumlov is definitely worth seeing and the town is a delight.

What a great day we had on our tour of Cesky Krumlov. Great service all around. Driver and Tour guide were top notch! The town was everything I wanted it to be and more, what an absolutely charming place!

We had specified English-speaking guide. The guide spoke in very halting English and one would have to pay very close attention to understand him. As well, the specification of this tour is small group. I would hardly call a group of 20 people small! In addition to submitting this review, I also called and spoke to Laura to provide this feedback. Will also send an email with my comments.

Altogether, not a happy trip at all and very disappointed with the quality of the tour. I had much better experience with Viator in the past, particularly last October when I was on a Viator small group day tour from Nice.

Sarah Tan
Singapore

We had a lovely trip. It is a 2.25 hour drive each way so be aware of that. There is a lovely bathroom break on the way there, but not back. Cesky Krumlov is a quaint small town with a magnificent castle. We got to see several of the castle rooms, walk around the town, and learn about the history. Overall it was worth it, we had about 20 in our group. The tour guide lived there for 40 years so knew his stuff.

Guided tour, small group in town near Prague. Very nice, guide in English. Micro bus
They should wear very comfortable shoes and preferably non-skid. The scenery along the way is very beautiful.
Very unpunctual departure, hour and a half late. And the free time there was not extended, so it was a rush to visit the town. The guide is very good and the visit to the castle is 100% recommended. A shame the organization of the hours is so bad.
We bought tickets to Czech Krumlov. The trip was wonderful. Czech Krumlov is a very beautiful city. Everyone was excited. The organization is beautiful. The buses are convenient. All advised Best tour in Prague.
I will be brief: excellent organization, maximum punctuality, a very competent guide, experience to repeat and to recommend to everyone.
Vše bylo super. Není nic, co bych vytkla. I počasí se nám vydařilo jak na objednávku. Organizace ukázková. Doporučuji a už vybíráme další výlet :-)
We loved our trip to Cesky Krumlov. The guide Philippe was interesting and kind! We loved our tour to Cesky Krumlov. Our guidePhilippe was very kind and interesting!
The guide ruined our ride. He didn't care about the group, he talked without waiting. Very tired. Then I saw that Best Tour has bad references, like this.
The guide didn't identify himself. He walked lightly and left people without arriving, even as he began to talk. It was an insensitive robot. He didn't make contact with his group. Lousy !!! Both your English and your very bad Spanish. Little was understood. He should do another job.
An organized excursion through our hotel. Departure in the morning at 09 o'clock from the hotel with minibus that comes to pick us up. They take us to St. Wenceslaus Square where our guide, a Czech lady who spoke both English and Italian fluently, gets on. We were very impressed by this attentive lady, because she was really very knowledgeable about the history of the country and had a vast culture, having also studied at the University of Bologna and even having obtained a degree in chemical and pharmacological engineering! In short, a true Professor!!! Moral of the story, beautiful tour of this beautiful medieval town with the careful guide who illustrated every detail, lunch break for all of us (also recommended a small restaurant in the city by the good teacher) and subsequent visit to the castle of the city with the guide of the castle (in this case, unfortunately, the guide, a very nice girl and also very prepared, spoke only in English, but they gave us brochures in Italian to follow the path of the visit to the rooms of the castle. Round trip in a comfortable minibus with a very good driver (2:30 trip both outward and return) with return directly to our hotel. The hike actually lasted about 10 hours, but it was absolutely worth it. Unfortunately, the only drawback, but certainly not dependent on the company, the weather that was not clement with us expected that it rained for a good part of the day but, thanks to our valid guide, we absolutely had fun!

Hermoso lugar, el guía fue muy amable, bien informado y a pesar de que sólo éramos dos de habla hispana en el tour nos dio toda la información. Puntuales.
