Paid $20 for a self-guided visit. First, you get an included beer to drink before you start the tour. The tour displays a myriad of beer bottles, how beer is made, samples of malt. Signage is also in English. There are three floors, with the last one being a beer cellar. In the cellar you get to choose two more beers. All in all, an informative experience with real beer paraphernalia (kegs, stills, bottlers, etc). With a bad leg, I wished there were more places to sit while reading the descriptions.

Very nice place, great people! Very good beer would recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity to do!! The people were amazing and many fun facts to read up on!
I came here originally to just get out of the midday heat, but was pleasantly surprised by what I found. Before you even go in, they give you a beer, which I for one think is genius. Every tourist attraction should give you a beer before you start your visit - it just sets you up perfectly. The museum itself is also very well laid out, and explains the history of every main type of beer, the differences between them, and the key innovators in beer production. Halfway through, they give you another two beers - perfection. This is a great thing to do to get away from the crowds and the heat if you’re in the centre of Prague.
Nice a cool, great way to escape the heat wave of 107 F / 40+ C and enjoy the tour and cold beer !
The museum was fantastic. It had everything you would expect and they definitely were generous on the pours. Would recommend 10/10 if coming to Prague
We visited the beer museum on Saturday afternoon, and there was no queue. First, we got to taste a special beer that was green in color. After that, we started the tour. A mobile app available for download provided guidance in English, which was a plus. The museum is spread over three floors, but it can be explored quite quickly, which is a slight downside. In the basement, we were able to choose two tasting beers out of three options. Everyone in our group chose the honey and blueberry beers, and both were very delicious. The museum staff were friendly, and everyone spoke good English. The museum is well suited for about a one-hour visit, depending on the type of admission package you choose. It’s also good to note that tickets cannot currently be purchased online in advance; they are only available on-site.
Awesome experience and good beer
What a brilliant afternoon spent at this museum. We had the GoCity pass so had 'free' access to this museum. Located on a main street whereas you could almost walk past, on arrival we were given the speech, a pair of headphones and our first pint of beer. It was a very interesting tour made better as it was at your own pace. After the tour, we were directed down to the cellar to pick 2 out of three beers to choose to try. The husband chose dark coffee and the blackberry and I chose the honey and the blackberry too. How I wish I'd of gone for the dark coffee instead as it was a beautiful drink, think espresso martini 😋 the guys down in the basement were very friendly and informative, explaining how pronounce the brand. He was brilliant, didn't catch his name but haf an American accent
This was a spontaneous decision but we enjoyed every bit of it! Going through the museum learning so much about the history of Beer was fascinating. We also got to bottle and label our own beer, and of course the beer was delicious. Like they say “no good story begins with a salad” 🤣 Also, Very friendly staff!
A nice place, not too big, presenting the history of beer, lots of bottles from the past and an explanation of the development of glass design. Most importantly, there are beer tastings.
Decided to do this as a last minute thing as it was raining & we were interested about it. The pricing was great (around £25 for 2 people) which included a walk around the 3 floors of beer facts which were quite interesting to read & learn about. After purchasing our tickets we got our first beer which was explained to us by the person serving, we got to taste the beer which was great. After completing the walk around we went down to the lowest floor where we received 2 more beers which were again great & definitely made the experience a lot better.
It wasn't a pleasant visit! The staff was a bit rude and stressed, and the information about how the place works wasn't clearly conveyed either.
The price for me and my husband was 15 euros per person which is amazing since you get to taste 3 beers and take a look at the awesome setup of the musem. It was very informative and educating so we found out a lot of new things about beer.
The beer museum was very interesting and had some historical facts that I didn’t not know. It was a self guided tour. No one rushed you and it was very enjoyable. Also the beer was tasty and it was fun to bottle your own beer at the end. Highly recommended.
I’ve been to beer museums, breweries and the like in a lot of different locations across the world…. And by far…. This is the worst I’ve stumbled upon. Not interesting at all, not interactive and the staff couldn’t care less. The tour lasts about 20mins, if you try hard enough not to be bored. I’d avoid and save your time for the other sights in prague.
An interesting insight into the history of beer, lots of information and artefacts to view. The 3 beers to taste were all very delicious and made my tastebuds tingle. A nice trip down the avenue of history
A really nice experience! Friendly staff and a very interesting exhibition. Started off with a beer downstairs to drink before going on to the exhibition, it was an Easter special and very tasty. The exhibition itself was good, it’s not a guided tour or anything you walk around the exhibition yourself at your own pace. There was lots of interesting stuff about the history of beer. We then went downstairs into the ‘cave’ type area where we had two more beers, both lovely! Definitely recommend if you’re interested in learning about beer in a cool and interesting environment.
Great exhibition, professional and friendly staff! Informative and tasty beer! The guys in the bars was very friendly.
Great experience, learned a lot about beer and got to try a blueberry and honey beer. Staff were great. Excellent value as it’s included in a go city pass
What an interesting place to visit, well worth it. Staff are friendly and a nice selection of beers at the end as part of the entrance ticket.
Amazing tour would definitely recommend going with friends or family you get 3 pints included and they were amazing and also you learn a lot about how beers made
Beer was top tier! Great experience and atmosphere! Honey beer might be my favorite of all time. Highly recommend if you love beer!
The staff were delightful, the museum was extremely informative, I think I like beer twice as much now that I’ve visited.
The small exhibition with the little asses of beer with taste testing. The worst experience is the toilet is super dirty and there is no toilet paper inside. The ticket person from reception is super rude.
Very nicely presented museum with lots to read about the history and making of different types of beers. Wide variety of tools are also presented and you get to taste 3 small pints for free within the ticket price.
Boring. Not interesting. Not interactive. Nice beer but that’s about it. Says large on the outside but it’s far from it.
It was a nice way to spend an hour or so in Prague, it was very quiet, just a few of us there, but interesting ready all the exhibits and fun tasting the beer. I went with my 18 year old son and he enjoyed it. An hour is about all you need.
Great staff awesome time highly recommended would go again if I'm back in Prague. Bring family or friends or anyone else super fun
Very informative museum. You go around at your own pace, take as many photos as you like, and you get some beer samples too!
Such a great place to learn all about the history of beer. A perfect cellar tasting room to complete the experience!
The bar at the end was great, well organised and tasting beers ready on arrival. The museum was fairly average, wouldn’t recommend
Great beer, great atmosphere. Really enjoyed that the signage was available in English. The beer dispensing machine in the basement is really cool. You get a total of three beers with admission. One before you start (turn in your glass before you start walking). And two at the end in the basement/dungeon.
Beertastic. What else would you expect from the country with the highest per capita consumption of the magical elixir ?
Very informative, and staff were lovely. Cheap for what we got and the self tour was good fun. The flavoured beers at the end were fab and the blueberry beer is a must try along with seeing the robot poor them for you. Would recommend as so much fun and good fun!
Great experience through the world of beer...a pleasant afternoon accompanied by a tasting of excellent products
the information is very interesting and there is lots to look at. if you like beer you’ll like this place! the beers that are included with the tour are very tasty.
Fascinating bit of history in a bustling area of Prague. Great staff, lovely beer and a light touch of reading. Open later than other attractions too so we gave it a go on the way back to the hotel.
The beer museum captivates with its unique exhibition, bringing the history of brewing to life through fascinating artifacts. Immersing yourself in the beer-making process and the opportunity to sample various brews make the visit truly unforgettable.
Amazing experience!!!! Would highly recommend coming here for anyone who is visiting Prague! Staff are so friendly and the beers are great. 10/10 experience
I recommended this tour. The beers are delicious. The musuem are in English, very easy to understand.
When we decided to go to Prague we already knew that we would check out the beer museum & we weren’t disappointed. Bering greeted with a beer is (to us Germans) common and always fully appreciated. The tone was set and we enjoyed the self-guided tour learning lots and lots of things about the history, traditions and types of beers. The staff was absolutely lovely, supportive and gave great instructions and informations about the liquid gold. Even if you’re not a beer lover (yet) it’s a great place to widen your knowledge and perhaps start to better understand your beer-loving friends. #itsalwaysbeeroclock
The cutest museum in Prague. I stayed with friends and we fell in love for the tour, the structure and the atmosphere of this place . We returned here every day we stayed in the city. Katerina, Nicolay and collegues were fantastic host. I reccomanded it, this should be a must stop in Prague.
Excellent experience, we spent here 2 hours and there were a lot of fun. Apart from all the information about the beer in Czechia and in the world there were a lot of exposed things beer connected : glasses, toy trucks, pints and bottle from all over the world. And the beer tasting at the end of the tour was one of a kind. Best value for money, we do recommend a visit.
A fun way to spend 2 hours. The self guided tour of the museum is pretty short. Not interactive, just visual and you read the info but it's still interesting with a large collection of bottles and beer mats etc. They are very generous with the beer tasting. Again no guide but just fun to do with family or friends. Excellent value for money. You can drink inside in the historic pub or outside in the sunny cobbled courtyard. You can buy crisps and nuts. Then you create a label and bottle a souvenir beer to take away. Great fun.
Lovely little museum dedicated to beet. Old pub set ups were interesting. Beer samples very generous! Bottling machine was not working when we were there but we printed off labels to go on already bottled beer. Really enjoyed it.
Nice experience! I recommand it! Thank You for Andrew and his Time! Beers are great! Go there you will like it!
Really good experience! I recommend it without hesitation! Thank you to Vova! :) Go there! It’s a place to go!
For those who want to learn more about Czechia's beer history/industry, this is the place to go to. At the end of the tour, you get 4 samples of local beer and also you can customize your own beer bottle. Worth of a visit for all beer aficionados.
Loved this place - few people, self guided, and I did actually learn stuff about beer making. Also verified I don’t like Pilzens. Best part are the display with the handicapped mannequins. Had great fun taking photos with our new boyfriend ‘the king’. Then you get all this beer to drink afterward! Staff so nice and helpful. Pass all the others and make a beer line for this place (including the nearby sex machines museum which tourist info said wasn’t worth it)
good student discount (was 200 CZK each). the tour consists of 2 buildings with information and objects to learn about. it is rather information heavy and not very interactive- but that’s what you get with a self-guided tour. at the end you go down to 2 bars and receive 4 glasses of beer to taste. the beer was great! me abs my partner spent a couple hours drinking them and enjoying the pub designs
