This was a fantastic experience that allowed us to see the beauty of the countryside while we were staying in Prague. We also stopped for lunch at Zlatá Liípa hotel and had a terrific meal there. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and did everything he could to make our experience an excellent one.

This tour was absolutely perfect. The guide was friendly, polite, and fun, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The hiking trails are suitable for all levels during this season and are easy to walk. I highly recommend it for groups of friends it’s a truly special experience. Martin was our guide for the day, and he was awesome!! Everything was amazing, from the start to finish! Martin was absolutely the best guide—so knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and super patient!! I was nervous about traversing the terrain (icy)… but it was no problem at all with the added gear for our shoes. I am so very happy that we did not miss out on this tour!! Highly recommend!!!

If you are in Prague, whether a fan of the film or not, take this tour. Absolutely stunning views. The winter months brings the scenes from the film more to life. Tomas was a fantastic tour guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Amazing tour worth every cent! Our guide Ondrej was wonderful. Insightful, engaging and accommodating. Being a small group means you get to know everyone on your tour which was lovely. Includes a delicious traditional lunch and all the additionals in the cost (nothing to pay on the day!). The hikes were beautiful and Ondrej made sure to take time to let us get all the pictures and experiences we needed! Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely trip. Very well organized and the locations were amazing. Needless to say in January it’s a bit cold so make sure you are dresses properly. The group size was just right (5 people + guide). Ondrej, our guide, was extremely friendly, kind and knowledgeable. We had a lovely time.

I received a voucher for any Northern Hikes tour and my mom and I chose the Narnia one (Tisá walls and Bastei bridge)Tomas was punctual and extremely friendly, even from 7:40am! He remembered everyone's name, was super knowledgeable about the area, and gave further recommendations for Prague and Czech/Saxony Switzerland. Some highlights for me were having a little free time at Bastei bridge to revisit lookout points, and having an unexpectedly delicious lunch! I expected a standard tour and this was really above and beyond. We had a great group, but I genuinely have no doubt that Tomas can build a rapport with almost anyone. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in getting outside Prague into nature!

This was one of the best tours i have experirenced. Pavla was wonderfull. Friendly and always sharing interesting information. The locations were amazing. Tisa rocks were some of the most beautifull scenary i have ever seen. Full of snow an frost. It was magical. The restaurant we had lunch was suprising. Great barbecue ribs and the best beer in the Czech Repubic. Bastei rocks and the views over the river were impressive to. I highly recomend this tour.

This was a perfect thing to do for our family - the hikes were beautiful and well organized, and Tomas our guide was a perfect host. Tomas was fun, informative, and personable and made the trip a smooth enriching experience. Certainly a must-do for all visiting Prague.

We had a blast, mainly due to the most awesome guide Tomas! Look, the Narnia and Bohemian Switzerland Park tour have some amazing sights, but without Tomas, it would not have been so much fun! We were really lucky to have a fun, goofy group too, so in between the stellar sights, we managed a few good laughs too. Book this tour, and ask for that sexy-bastard, Tomas. You won’t be disappointed.

The whole experience was top notch. Our guide, Tomas, picked us up promptly at our hotel. He drove us to our first destination, Tisa Rocks, and led us on a great hike with entertaining commentary. After this hike we went to a very nice restaurant with good Czech food. We then went to Bohemia and Saxon National Park. Another fun destination. This trip had approximately 4 miles of hiking. Our guide provided ice cleats and had walking sticks available, as well as hand warmers and wool caps. We were also given a bag of snacks. We were dropped off on time at our hotel. Overall a great time.

Was initially hesitant to go in January, but this trip has been one of our highlights. So glad we went to this winter wonderland. So beautiful. Tomas looked after us so well. Meal was delicious and with spikes provided for our shoes, walking was fun and stress free. Highly recommend this if you love the outdoors. Thanks for making our day so enjoyable Tomas.

The area was spectacular to see and our guide Thomas was amazing and friendly. The canyon was so pretty especially with the snow and then there was an incredible view at the second spot.

What a great day out! Our guide Tomas was fabulous, sharing pieces of information as we drove to the sites. Both locations were breathtaking and well worth the effort to see them. Lunch was incredible. The whole day is one we will remember for a long time.

Very relaxing tour. The views are stunning and we were fortunate enough to have clear weather. This was an excellent walking , well paced, interesting interaction with fellow travelers , informative interludes from our guide. Thank You.

The guide Michal was just so wonderful and really prepared for any case (he provided us with show spikes so we dont slip on the ice and others with gloves) Michal picked up everyone on time at 8am from their hotel and immediately gave each one a bag with water and snacks. We rode for over an hour and then hiked up a bit to view the rock formations and walked around them, amazing beautiful sight. Then we sat down for an included lunch and beer which was also very good in the local resturant. Next location we rode across the German border to the Saxon Switzerland national park and saw the bridge and amazing views. We were dropped off at around 16:30 which was even earlier than expected so we had plenty of time left to continue enjoying prague :) This is truly worth every penny!!!

What an amazing experience! Definitely a highlight of the trip to Prague. Our day trip to Bohemian Switzerland National Park included a hike where Narnia was filmed, and an enchanting sightseeing spot on the border of Germany. Going in off-season (November) was great because we were practically the only ones hiking. It was cold (dress for snow), but the colors were beautiful, and it started snowed just as we finished the hike. We got lucky with the weather, but it was truly magical. Lenka, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and we felt really cared for. She brought car snacks, gave us hot tea and mulled wine on our hike, and took us to a charming restaurant for lunch. It was a great winter activity!

So having done the same sites tour the day before with another tour company that changed their itinerary for Pravcicka Gate to Tisa rocks hours before that tour started... I was not too thrilled with redoing this tour again with another company but I was already committed and paid. However, I mentioned to the guide what had happened with the other company with what they did. The female guide consoled me and said that she would do her best to make this one even better... which she did! We went to the Bastei bridge first where it was a bit foggy to start but them cleared up to a nice sunny morning. The Bastei bridge area has some spectacular drop-offs - very scenic and picture postcard worthy! Then off to Tisa Rocks from a different approach than the other tour i.e. not up from Refugio along-side a cemetery but from the side from Turistická chata Tisá restaurant in the same area. This tour guide was very patient knowing that some of us are older and take a little more time climbing - where other company tour guide was hurrying everyone. This was very foggy in the afternoon, so the day before arriving in the morning was better as it was clear. But not that much to see other than the drop-off. Anyway, this tour and guide were very nice and considerate.

The trip was amazing! Got an up close view and sandstone formation formed in times long ago. The hike was enjoyable with scenic vista's, educational talks about plant and animal life as well a the history and people of the area.

Cannot recommend this enough. Every detail has been well thought out, from comfortable transportation, an interesting itinerary, good communication prior to the tour, and a great lunch restaurant. Our guides, Pavla and Martin, were welcoming and informative. The hiking spots are beautiful and the pace was just right to enjoy the scenery without taking too long. It was great to step away from the bustle of Prague and enjoy these natural wonders without sweating the logistics myself. A well-deserved 5 stars for sure.

We had a great experience! Lenjka, our tour guide from Northern Hikes picked us up sharp on time at the hotel. We saw two locations, the Bastei and Tisa Rocks. Both are marvelous natural formations and beautiful. It was raining partly when we went. The hike at the Tisa rocks makes for a special mention. Lenjka herded us carefully through the snow. The scenery was breathtaking. Totally recommend this.

This was so amazing! Pavla was amazing and I had a nice relaxing day with some beautiful views. I came to Prague in a group of friends but I did this tour alone needing some time in nature. Definitely did the job!! The views are breathtaking and the walk was leisurely. Definitely chilly but nonetheless worth it (if you come prepared)… Would do again!
