What a great experience!!! The hike was beautiful, our guide Jan was incredible, and the extra places we went to were perfect! Jan was extremely knowledgeable about the area and took amazing pictures of us. He was very communicative, in a fun, entertaining, & not boring way. He only explained things we asked and cared about and never went off on tangents like other guides seem to do. The hike can be rigorous due to steep stairs and we even chose to increase the difficulty which was a great added bonus! We are both athletic and were still pretty winded after some climbs. The food at the last minute restaurant choice was very good. And the brewery was great! It was such a personal experience that it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend all day! Highly recommend Adventure Tribe company!

This is an incredible way to discover another side of Czechia, The beauty of nature. The entire organisation is planned to the fine details with amazing care by the guide Jan. I had the most wonderful day.

It is a must do ! We enjoyed this tour very much, outside of Prague. We were picked up at our hotel and started our tour with Jan who is very nice and provided us with lots of valuable information. The hike was moderate easy but with lots of stairs, but you can do it at your own pace, it was so worth it. The lunch at the castle was very good and the beer tour tasting was very informative, fresh brewed beer 🍺 Jan was very accommodating and made sure everyone enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience especially for the first two parts of the trip! The hiking and the lunch were amazing! We did not enjoy the visit to the brewery as we found the offerings limited. Overall, great value for the money!

I had a really good time on this tour. Our guide Jan picked us up from our hotel before driving us to the beautiful vista of the Bohemian Paradise. The hike itself follows clearly demarcated trails and does have a few steps but is fairly straightforward to walk. Jan was highly knowledgeable about the area and I really enjoyed learning about the geography of the Prachov Rocks and Bohemian and Czech history (you can see the ruins of Trosky Castle dominating the landscape at several points during the tour). Lunch was tasty, and the visit to the brewery was similarly informative and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

If I could give a score higher than 5 I would. Jan was an absolutely fantastic guide! He enthusiastically answered all of our questions and provided interesting information continually as we went along our route. The tour itself was great. We enjoyed each aspect of it. The hike was wonderful. Lunch at the castle was tasty and the brewery was the icing on the cake. Don’t hesitate to book this outing if you visit Prague, you will not regret it!!

Fantastic trip. Petr was a great guide- very genuine and personable. Transport vehicle very comfortable. All the sites we visited were amazing. Included lunch and beer tasting exceptionable. The views were fantastic. There are quite a number of steps up and down, but nothing average fitness can’t handle. Also tried out Petr’s recommendation for breakfast venue the following day and that was great as well.

We had a great time on this tour. It included several unique and enjoyable experiences. The hike through Prachov Rocks offered stunning views, and the lunch at Hrubá Skála Castle was excellent, with delicious food and drinks and beautiful scenery. The brewery tour was both fun and informative, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Petr was a knowledgeable, personable, and engaging guide who helped make the day enjoyable. If you only have a few days in Prague, I highly recommend taking this tour to experience the Czech countryside beyond the city.

Was a wonderful selection of activities at a great price. Jakob is an awesome and chill host with so much knowledge of the area. It gave a mix of outdoor hikes and sights, and castle bites and beers. As a young guy going with my brother and girlfriend it was a great day for everyone. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comprehensive experience of czechia outside of prague, and into the countryside!

This was an amazing day!!! I can't thank Peter enough (sorry about the spelling as I know it is spelled differently in Czech). He was a wonderful driver, guide and host. All I can say is "WOW!" IMHO this is the only way to see the countryside.....We can't thank you enough!

If you're looking for a day trip in Czechia, Adventure Tribe is the place to put your money. The Bohemian Paradise tour was one of the biggest highlights of my visit to Prague, and my partner and I have been gushing about it ever since. We had planned to do a day trip to the Prachov Rocks but were deliberating over how to get there when this tour popped up. As beer lovers and castle enjoyers, it seemed too good to pass up, so we booked it last-minute. Our guide Jan was knowledgeable, sociable, and clearly enjoyed showing us the beautiful Czech countryside. He even answered all of my questions about the Czech language, and after the tour continued to give us advice about sightseeing in Prague and Kutná Hora. The cliffs were absolutely stunning, the castle was beautiful, lunch was excellent and very filling (try the svíčková), and the brewery tour at the end of the trip was so much fun - the people at the Lomnické Pivo craft brewery really know what they're doing. I can't speak highly enough of this tour and my experience with Adventure Tribe. It was well worth the money, and my partner and I loved every second. We were also lucky enough to have a full group of friendly and engaged tourists alongside us, which made the tour that much more enjoyable. If and when I'm ever back in Czechia, I will absolutely be booking with Adventure Tribe again.

What a fantastic experience. Not only did we get to go out of the city, but our guide was super knowledgeable on the history of the areas and had a lot of insight to provide on the little details of each location. The beer and food were fantastic. The hike was easy but unique and the vibe of each location felt so cozy and calming, I recommend this as a nice reprieve from the city for one day. Also, most importantly, you don't need to figure out the logistics to go to these places. They come straight to you with a vehicle so it's very painless and easy.

Prague is an incredible city! But if you want to see more than that than this tour is a must!! We went to Prachovske’ Scaly which is a uNESCO protected park. I’ve never seen anything like it!. And that was just the start. The castle views and lunch were incredible and the local brewery was truly a unique experience. The beer is only distributed within 30 km of their retail outlet. No way we would have found it without the tour!

This was a great excursion. We had rain on and off and it was still great. Our guides were amazing. There is a lot of walking and a good deal is uphill, but it's not overly strenuous. The views were beautiful and the lunch in the castle was delicious. The brewery tour was fun and we're not even beer drinkers. Getting picked up from the hotel was a great bonus. Highly recommend.

This is a FANTASTIC experience! The views, the history, the food, the culture were the things we took away from this journey. Jan led us expertly and carefully. I twisted my knee a couple of days before and my mobility was limited but Jan went out of his way to make the journey complete with constant check ins and physically helping me when needed. All in all a magnificent experience!

Great day out. Visited the UNESCO geo forest. Fantastic views. The walk has some steep and narrow climbs.

Activities and lunch included were great! Excellent hike. Jan was very friendly and knowledgeable. We all had fun. Only negative is 1.5 hr deive there and back.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Everything about this excursion was perfection. It started with great communication from Jan prior to our departure regarding the pick up from our hotel. Immediately when we got in the van, we were greeted with an amazing small group who are all just as excited. Jan was born and raised in Czechia and his knowledge was immediately recognized. He had so much insight the entire trip that really elevated this experience as a travel advisor. I’m always looking for excursions and experiences that will be memorable and present the traveler with the little piece of local and authentic time in the city there visiting. This was all of that and more Jan has put great time and effort into creating an authentic experience and it shows in every aspect of this tour during the hike shared so much insight of the area and the land and the history behind it all we even got to pick wild blueberries, which was definitely a highlight. The second stop at the castle was everything I could’ve imagined it would be from stunning scenery to amazing food to more thoughtful insight, and history by Jan. The last step at the Small local brewery was a fitting end to a wonderful day. Once again, Jan did not disappoint with his knowledge of beer the brewing process the flavor profiles, and the history behind this little brewery and the town that it’s in. We only had three short days in Prague and this excursion was the highlight of our time there. thank you, Jan for a memorable day that we will talk about for years to come.

This tour was a great mix of things and just a must do! Jan was super friendly, accomodating and just a great fun guy that ensured that we had a great tour! Never felt rushed. The Bohemian Paradise is a must do for anyone coming to Prague area. The tour included awesome food at a castle and then went to a brewery and couldn't even finish all the beer they let us sample! The entire day was a great experience. We ran into some rain and Jan had us covered with some rain coats. He was a great guide! And even gave us a gift at the end of the trip to remember the day!

An excellent tour consisting of two very scenic hikes, lunch in a castle, and a private tasting at a microbrewery. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, making the 3 hour roundtrip car ride go by fast. I would definitely recommend.

Petr was a great driver and guide. He picked us up exactly on time from where we were staying in Prague and had some interesting things to tell us on the way to Bohemian Paradise. While we were there, he engaged in conversation, while allowing us to catch our breath. The sandstone rock formations were breathtaking. I was very pleased with the lunch we had as well. I'm glad he talked me into trying Svíčková. The pivovar (brewery) tour was intimate and lovely, although a bit far from where we ate lunch. Looking at the route on Google maps, it seemed like we took a detour through Turnov for some reason. Regardless, we had the opportunity to try some good beer at various stages of brewing: toasted malted barley, warm malty water (pre-wort), traditional lager, and even some wheat beer halfway through the brewing process! My travel tips: this truly is an all-day affair. Bring comfortable shoes (hiking boots if you have them) and be prepared to block your calendar for the entire day, from about 8:00 to at least 17:00. Also, the hike may be easy for experienced hikers, but there are LOTS of stairs and steep elevation changes. It is absolutely not a leisurely walk through the woods. Be prepared to sweat.

Petr was a great guide, stopping to explain the sandstone rocks and their history along our hike. While the hike was short length-wise, it was the steepest and most advanced trail, so I would not consider it "easy" as the TripAdvisor title says. The view is worth it, though. Lunch at the castle was pleasant and tasty. The brewer was very knowledgeable and friendly (and the beer very good!), although the drive home was a bit long. Coordination by Jan for door to door pickup was great, it was nice to not have to worry about getting back to our apartment after a long day.

Our guide Jan was very knowledgable, friendly & helpful. The hike was easy going taken at our own pace, we had the trail virtually to ourselves. The views were spectacular & Jan told us about the history of Bohemian Paradise. I would definitely recommend a visit here it’s beautiful & impressive. After the hike Jan took us to a castle which has been converted into an hotel where we had lunch. We were all surprisingly hungry after our hike, the food & beer were delicious. Jan showed us round the museum part of the castle then it was off to a local brewery for tasting & a tour. Again this didn’t disappoint & we all had a fantastic time & came away with our very own special can of lager. From collecting me at my hotel to dropping me off I felt like a was with friends, the whole experience was unforgettable & memories I’ll treasure.

What a great day! It was wonderful and so interesting to get out of the city and spend time in the countryside. The hike was beautiful and fun, and lunch at the castle was amazing. I was so impressed that Jan included a gluten free option on the menu which few Prague restaurants do. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the brewery tour. A day well spent. Jan was a wonderful host and guide, easy to be around and full of great stories and information. He was also very communicative about details and pickup so we never wondered about the tour. Highly recommend.

If I could rate this experience higher than a 5 star I would. By far the best excursion of my vacation to Munich, Vienna, and Prague. Our host, Peter, was so good and the sites, sounds, food, and beer were unbelievable. This is a MUST book!!

Geopark hike with spectacular views was a lot of fun, lunch at castle was very nice, and visit to brewery was great too. Jan was our guide, knowledgeable and personable, and did a fabulous job throughout the day. Jan and our fellow travelers made it a fun day all around!

I don’t often write reviews, however I was compelled to do so given this was the best tour I’ve ever been on. Our guide, Jan, was incredibly friendly, informative and punctual. The first part of the tour, the hike, was gorgeous and relatively easy (there were some stairs but nothing too taxing). It was about 1.5 hours and 2 miles long which was the perfect length for my partner and I. Next, we went to a castle with a delicious restaurant overlooking a breath taking country side landscape. There were barely any crowds at all which was a great bonus. Lastly, we went to a nearby brewery in a small town. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was some of the best, most fresh beer I’ve tasted- and I love beer! The amount of beer we were given was also very generous. To conclude, I cannot recommend this tour enough, you will not be disappointed! A must do in Prague!

We can't thank Jan enough for a beautiful day in Bohemian paradise. We started with a comfortable drive to the Prachov rock city. The hike through (3km or so) was gorgeous and manageable in sneakers. We then went to Hruba Skala for a delicious lunch in a stunning location. We explored the castle and tour for a short while and went back in the van for a short drive to a local brewery. Jan knew the owners well and we were treated so kindly as we tried a bunch of different beers and were taught about the brewing process by Jan and the staff. Such a great day!

Jan (John), was the best. He kept us informed of the tour status before we even left, and texted us when the van would pick us up. (It was great getting picked up and dropped off at our hotel). He was so friendly and informative and made us feel comfortable as we drove and hiked the beautiful Bohemian country. The pace was perfect, and the food at the castle was really special / nice and was great after the hike. Lastly the brewery was so fun as we got to sample several brews and tried some new brews that they had just created. Would definitely recommend this if you are interested in seeing the beautiful Bohemian countryside.

Jan led us on a wonderful day of hiking in the Bohemium Paradise Park (which was completely unexpected beauty!!), dining in a beautiful castle and then tasting local beer!! I joined this full-day tour from Prague to the Bohemian Paradise and honestly, it ended up being one of the highlights of my solo trip. Our guide, Jan, was fantastic—super knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the region. The whole day felt really well-paced. The landscapes in Bohemian Paradise were absolutely stunning, with these unique rock formations and beautiful views that felt almost unreal. One of my favorite parts was visiting the castle—it added such a magical, historic touch to the experience. Having lunch there made it even more special, and the food was delicious. Later, we also stopped by a local brewery, which was a really fun and authentic way to end the day (especially if you enjoy trying local beers). As a solo traveler, I felt completely comfortable the entire time, and it was a great way to meet other people while still enjoying the experience at my own pace. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague who wants to see something beyond the city—it’s 100% worth it!
