We went on a trip with Offroad Safari and it was absolutely amazing! We’re from the area, so we were already familiar with some of the places, but it was still incredibly informative and fun. The guide has excellent knowledge – he speaks with passion, goes into detail, and adds fascinating stories and context to every location. The best part was getting access to places you would never normally see. Thanks to the guide’s storytelling and approach, the whole experience felt truly special. Great atmosphere, beautiful nature, a bit of adventure, and lots of new insights. If you have the chance to join one of their trips, don’t hesitate – it’s totally worth it! 😊

Had a great time, it was wonderful to get out of the city and see the countryside. As this is a private tour it was done at our pace and we were able to spend more time at the activities we enjoyed. Garnet planning was a highlight and we left with a surprising number of small gems, including a few that were large enough to use in a piece of jewelry. The lunch had a wonderful view. Loved stopping at a local farm store to grab some treats for the animals on the farm.

The experience was great! Our tour guide was super fun and engaging and knew a lot of insider information that enhanced the experience. 11/10

What a wonderful incredible trip! beautiful countryside, fairytale scenery, castles, and panning for garnets (we found so many!) Martin was the best guide possible. So knowledgeable in every field- geology, history, politics, and so pleasant and friendly and helpful. I would recommend any trip with this amazing guide.

Highly recommend any of the tours offered by Martin and Offroad Safaris. Our driver, Nikoli, was the first great start of our countryside tour. He picked us up promptly at our our Prague hotel and drove us to meet Martin in the countryside. Martin’s passion of his country and love of history is obvious. Learning more about the area that my great grandparents immigrated from was very enlightening! Martin was also very accommodating and took us to a couple other side trips we wanted to experience. The garnet panning led us to purchase some garnet jewelry later on our vacation armed w/ the knowledge and tips that Martin provided? Oh, and we had the best lunch at the small village pub!!! Double thumbs up and we will definitely use Martin again for another tour when we return!!!

Informative and fun tour. Took us to very interesting places, not far from where we live, but which we had no idea about. Guide was well researched and flexible, so we chose the places we were interested in and spent as much time as we wanted at each one.

It was something amazing! We didn't expect such a busy program full of beautiful views and new experiences in a landscape we thought we already knew well for years. Absolutely professional performance of our guide Martin Bareš took our breath away. Everything was perfectly prepared, the places we visited were beautiful, mysterious, hidden and above all very interesting. Just a great holiday day!

I really enjoyed the tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable in both the area and it’s history; I learned a lot! It is a very gentle tour where we were mostly in the car. The highlight for me was the goat farm... it was precious and the cheese tasting was delicious!

If your budget allows, this is a wonderful day outside the normal touring of the city. Your guide is a wealth of information about the country, past, present and future. The stop in the country inn for lunch was a treat and so welcoming you felt you were part of the community. A stop at a local grocery store was in and of itself a real taste of the countryside. The day culminated with a stop at a working farm, where you enjoyed up close and personal the goats, cows, and other farm animals. Go for it... a day well spent and one that makes your trip to Prague memorable.

To start our day in Bohemia my wife and I were picked up at our b&b in Prague by a young man and driven for about an hour out into the countryside. There we met our guide Vlosti and switched to his 4x4 for the tour. We visited several places of interest at which Vlosti shared his knowledge of the history and geography of Bohemia including one of many steep hills that were scattered across a flat plain, a country church, a ruined castle, and a farm. The most surprising was a small Jewish cemetery located deep in a private vineyard, an addition to the regular itinerary. We enjoyed an excellent lunch and local beer in a pleasant rural tavern. This tour visited behind the scenes grass roots locations rather than high profile destinations. Vlosti's energy and enthusiasm for his homeland made for a fun day out that ended with another hour long transfer back to Prague.

It was so nice to get out of the city and breathe in the fresh, country air! It was also very needed to step away from the crowds!! Nikolay and Vlasta were great!! Nikolay was our driver and was great to talk to - very funny! Vlasta was our tour guide and answered all our questions and made the day super special for us!! Even Martin, the one who coordinated the event, was fun to text with!! :)

My wife and I took our 16 & 13 y/o sons on this tour and thoroughly loved it. Martin was an excellent tour guide. We enjoyed the wonderful views, little farmers market, pub lunch, villages, panning for garnets, cheese tasting at nearby farm, etc. This is a great way to see the Czech Republic from a different perspective than only visiting a big city like Prague.

Had a wonderful day on the off road safari with Vlastimil. We enjoyed the day cruising around the country side and seeing the beautiful views!!! Also got to pan for bohemian garnet, drank awesome beer with a delicious lunch, and ate goat cheese!!!! Fed the farm animals apples!!! Excellent tour!!!! Kudos!!!!

Our day started out with a great transfer from Prague to a drop off point with Offroad Safari guide Martin. Martin did a great job showing us unique places and explaining the history of the land and seeing unique castles, ground squirrels and an awesome lunch at Hospudka. The highlight for me was gem panning in a local creek where I found red garnets.

Not only the nature is incredibly beautiful and touching - you get an amazing portion of interesting information to everything. Want to know a name of a hill? Want to know the history of the castle to the left? Ask the guide and you will get all the data, stories and interesting facts. Perfectly spent day.

This trip was great. My friend and I had a good chat with the tour guide who was friendly polite informative and cared about what he was saying. It’s nice to speak with someone who loves their country. The trip itself was stunning there are amazing views the activities included are fun lunch was wonderful and all in all it was a great day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience more than the city of Prague.

We spend a day in nature. Exexploring the beauty of Vulkanoes and the Czech Central Mountains. We appreciated professionality of our guides speeking fluently English, answering our questions and friendy atmosphere. It was awesome trip. I suggest it to all as a must do.

A really great day out at a relaxed pace. Some really intersting information about the area and some great surprising activities especially hunting for bohemian garnets. Our guide Vlasta was amazing and very knowledgeable also great fun. Even the transfer to and from the start point was great conversation with our driver Nikoli. I highly recommend this tour.

You must NOT miss this excursion!!! Martin is an amazing guide and wonderful representation of his country and countryside. The offroad trip was not too bumpy, he was considerate and stopped anywhere you needed to take a photo. His knowledge of the WWII and history added a great flair to the trip. The restaurant where we ate was the best meal I had in CZ !! The duck, red cabbage and dumplings were very different than the usual. Even my vegetarian daughter had a great meal! Goat cheese was great at the goat farm, panning for garnets by the stream was a unique experience. You must GO!!! I"ll be back!

After 5 days in Barcelona, we arrived in Prague and the next day took a tour of that fabulous city. The day after that my wife had booked a Jeep tour of Bohemia. I had no idea what we getting into and after a 90 minute rough highway ride we arrived and met with our friendly pilot to the one of the most picturesque places I have ever seen. We toured mountain castle areas and quaint villages. The history of these villages and mountains was even more fascinating. Lunch at a tucked away village with a panoramic view of the valley was very special as we were treated as the special guests of the day, which I think we were. Other treats on this sojourn were the goat farm, garnet mining, the hang gliding watching and the country market... a treat at every turn. We ended the day with a visit to an old town that epitomizes this beautiful area and the Czech Republic that we were so fortunately able to witness. The City of Prague is a most amazing place. If you have an extra day, this Jeep tour will make an everlasting memory.

<p>This trip is definitely a 5 PLUS out of 5. Transfers were very well organised. Our guide, Kamil was wonderful. Whilst Prague is a beautiful city, this trip provides the opportunity to see the countryside which is magnificent. Lunch was special not only because of the great authentic meal but the locality. My travel buddy and I asked Kamil heaps of questions, some of which he was unable to answer on the spot. I have received 2 emails since ...all questions answered! This tour would have to be one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks to Off Road Safari, Kamil and Nic! Everybody needs to get out there and do this!!!</p>

A great day out spent with our guide Tomas. He was a "fountain of knowledge" of the area - geographic, flora, fauna and general history of his country. It was overwhelming to listen to his enthusiasm and pride in his country and its' history. He went above and beyond our expectations and happy to tailor the experience to our interests. The trip included lunch at a great little country restaurant where the food and local beers were excellent. Great day all round.

<p>We had a wonderful time getting to see and know the Czech countryside. Our pickup in Prague was early and drove us to meet our guide. His knowledge and English were terrific. We saw goats. We panned for garnets. We stopped for a terrific lunch at a local hotspot. We learned all about the region and some of the folks that have lived there and live there now. Highly recommended outing!</p>

<p>I was attracted by 'volcanoes' by the title of this tour, but there wasn't but a beautiful mountain view along the road. Our tour guide explained to us in details and drove us to all most beautiful scenery spots for good shots. For lunch, he recommended us for Czech cuisine with local brand beer. TastyAfter that, we were sent to a grocery for potato chips and wine. What a good recommendation! But what memorable most of the tour was trying goat cheese at a farm. Before we ate, we fed. Animals were just like a family, it's a relaxing experience in fa farm.</p>

Rádi bychom poděkovali celému týmu za bezkonkurenční zážitek. Pro naší firmu bylo vše bezchybně zajištěné a o bohatý program nebyla nouze. Krásy českého středohoří a poutavé vyprávění o jeho geologické historii nás nadchli natolik, že se tam rádi vrátíme i po vlastní ose. Děkujeme a těšíme se, že s Offroadsafari jsme nebyli naposledy...

Jízda terénním vozem po Krušných horách. Krásné vyhlídky.Pěkné vesnice. Skvělý a příjemný průvodce, který dokáže odpovědět na cokoli.

Krásný zážitek pro dceru a i pro mě. Velmi doporučujeme. Granáty našla a byla neskutečně nadšená. Nakonec jedla i kozí sýr který jindy nejí 🤔😁

S Martinem jsme procestovali krásný kout Čech. Byl to i díky jemu a jeho znalostem úžasný zážitek. Osmiletá vnučka Markéta ještě večer o svých zážitcích vykládala svým rodičům s obrovským nadšením!

Naprosto profesionální přístup od samého počátku... a to jsme ještě nevěděli, co nás čeká: průvodce, který má dokonalý cit pro to, dát vám dostatek času,abyste si mohli krásu okolí užít sami, po svém, a ve vhodnou chvíli přijít s upozorněním na skrytou zajímavost, doporučením, dějepisnou perličkou. Prostě paráda s očima dokořán, pohybem na vzduchu a doma, při pohledu do mapy, jen údiv na tím, jak malé území jsme vlastně projeli a kolik je krásy pouhých pár kilometrů od domova!
